When a team loses there is bound to be comments here and there.
Where was Bryan Robson when Steve McLaren took the job and won some few games on the bounce.

The fact here is England missed some of their best players against Croatia and they got punished.
The threats of Joe Cole, Michael Owen, Aaron Lennon and David Beckham were all missing due to injury or McLaren's personal beef.
Wayne Rooney is rusty and he is just coming back to terms.
I admit England does not have as many good players like Brazil, France, Argentina or even Nigeria that can assemble 3-5 decent national teams.
My argument is if every member of the English team's first XI stays fit they are capable of beating any team in the world.

Arsenal has not faced a stiff opposition since they fluked the victory against United.
The gooners will still visit odd places like Bolton, play Chelsea and Liverpool.
Its a long hard winter and its going to be tough for Arsenal Man Utd and Chelsea
Arsenal will always be in the top 4, no doubt but it is who wins the title that matters at the end of the day.

But of course, i will take fabulous Fabregas but does that mean he is better than Edgar-Davids?

Bolton's game will be very tricky.
Reebok stadium is a fortress on its own and Bolton rarely lose at home.
Man Utd and Chelsea are the only big teams that has won convincingly at Reebok Stadium.
Liverpool's last victory on that ground was in Sep 2002 while Arsenal is yet to record a victory at the reebok stadium.

Having said this, United has the fibre to make Bolton sweat.
Today's game against Crewe Alexander should give Smithy, Heinze and Silvestre(i wish he stays out for the season) the required match fitness for weekend's game against Bolton.
Ferguson must try hard and secure the vital 3 points as Chelsea is bound to get 3 points against Sheffield Utd.

A player like Vidic or Heinze would have prevented fabuloous Fabregas from waltzing through the defence and would have been quicker to react to the threat Adebayor posed in the 18-yard box.
Did u see how Adebayor stole a march on Wes Brown.
Brown was a fraction slower than Adebayor to reach for the ball and the Togolese neatly tucked the ball in.
I must admit United did not do enough to win the match but the right personnel in the defence could have prevented a defeat even if we did not deserve to win.

One defective unit out of others is capable of making a system non-functional.
