Calm down RED DEVILS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! United have a crunchy-tie UEFA match tomorrow and that match is very important. Man U must notch the first 12 points to secure qualification and 2mrw's match should not be overlooked. Lets scratch off FC Copenhagen before thinking of the Scousers. Man Utd V Liverpool will definitely live up to its billing. The arrival of Neville, Heinze, Giggs and Ronaldo and the sudden re-awakening of Wazza should bring something special. UP UNITED. |
@ Bolaoni, Don't know so much about 'em days but i think Leventis United was the toast in those days. I watched some old tapes and Leventis United FC was like Man Utd. Uwem Ekarika and Andrew Uwe were too brilliant to be playing in the Nigerian league. Those players would blame themselves today for being born in the wrong century. A player of Ekarika's quality would bench Samuel Etoo at Barcelona. |
Mikel Obi didn't deserve that red-card. It was too harsh and it really surprises me how this buncha honkies of referees treat African players. @ Akola, Do u think Lampard or Terry or Joe Cole would have been sent off for the same offence Mikel commited? Use your church mind. How many times has TERRY handled a goal-bound shot and refs looking away without carding him. Mikel was unjustly punished and he has the right to question the ref's decisions. He will be back-no doubt but suspension is not what Obi needs right now. Even Wazza would have escaped a red card if he had done the same thing Mikel did. The challenge was so innocuous but the stupid referee fell for it. Lets see how Chelsea shape out on Wednesday against Barca cos i wanna see Hilario in goal against the mighty Messi. |
I have kept maself in check all the while. Is the word "comedian" offensive? Martin Lawrence, Bill Cosby and Frank Spencer are comedians and they r proud of their profession. How does that relate to that good-for-nothing freak talking about ma household? When i don't like someone i don't pretend to and the next time he spews shit will be his last time. I will have the paramedics wrap his fucking head like a Hindu. |
@ Loyika, Very funny. I never knew the word "comedian" is offensive. To be honest, i think u were raised in a foster home because i don't really see the fruits of a father-figure in your miserable life. All we had in this thread was a constructive argument and i don't know why u had to stretch it to homes-it only shows the lack of extensive home-training in your household. I will not stoop low to your level in any manner so suck ma di.ck while u are still gaping at ma comments. Its quite appaling for a freak as old as u to be spewing balderdash but i ain't surprised by your toutish reactions. Busters like u shine shoes at Waterloo Station. P.S. Your hate mails are very welcome. |
@ Justkunmi, Wazza is one goal away from stamping his authority in the Prem this season after what the wankstas(FA) did to him. He was too brilliant today. Did u see his outrageous lob to Saha with the outside of his right foot? Thats the best skill of football i have seen this season in the premiership. Rooney is a jewel and there's no team in this world he will not start. |
Anutha Vintage Man United. Everyone did really well and i have to commend Wazza for his tremendous contributions. If Rooney is off-form and he plays this way i wonder what will happen when he is back in form. His energy, pace and techniques are just top-draw. Thumbs up Rooney!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tha Baby-face assassin cannot just stop scoring and United has fired a warning to all other teams in the Premiership. Giggsy is back and Ronaldo should be back for tuesday's UEFA clash. Man United is shaping up and should consolidate on their form in the league table. To all y'all premiership rivals----catch us if u can!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
I will add: Gabriel Batistuta(Batigol) Paul Scholes Rasheed Yekini |
@ Akola, Its too early to conceed defeat. Barca will still win whether Petr Cech or Carlo is fit. No powers can stop Rijkaard from claiming the vital 3 points at the Stamford Bridge. |
Juan Riquelme should win the awards. He was the most influencial player at the World Cup. |
Premiership all stars CANNOT, i repeat CANNOT defeat Barca. The best team in the world in terms of entertainement and getting good results. Chelsea to beat Barca? Try El-Kanemi to beat AC Milan. ![]() I am a Man U fan by birth but i wont be blinded by sheer patriotism to think any team has Barca's quality. Barcelona will rip, damage, demolish, skin and destroy any English team home and away with EASE. Have u guys forgotten what happened the last time the 2 teams met? How do u stop a rampaging Messi on his day? Who can match Ronaldinho's mercurial skills? Joe Cole or Robben? Please, don't get it twisted. Barcelona is in anutha level of crisp football. |
Chelski lost at home the last time these 2 teams met. Do u need any other conviction to believe Barca is a better team than all Premiership teams waxed together? |
Chelsea to win in London? I dont think so especially when Barca drew their last game. Jose should know better than pouring sand on the pitch yet again. He should have learnt from past experiences Ronaldinho, Saviola, Deco and Etoo all started playing football on sand as compared to John Terry, Lampard and Joe Cole who played on designer pitches in their teenage years. How will Chelsea stop the assault of Messi, Dinho and a refined Gudjohnsen? Its going to be a classic and i expect another red card to be shown to a Chelsea player known as the Cannibal. Messi is going to make a mince-meat out of Ashley Cole this time around and its going to be pure entertainment. Barca to snatch anutha 3 points in the most bizzare kinda fashion yet seen. Who wants to bet? @ Kitaun, A 12-man Chelsea team will lose ideas when they meet Barca. I have tried times without number to understand how Rijkaard breaks teams down with their 4-3-3 formation and i got the answers some few days ago. Barca plays with no holding midfielder like most teams do in Roy Keane, Patrick Vieira, Claude Makelele and Gattuso and they still outplay any team they face. The answer is Barcelona plays with loads of pace and they hardly give the opponents the time and space to have the ball. One good pass from Deco/Dinho to Messi/Etoo is all the team needs to get the goals and its GAMEOVER. Mourinho on the other hand is a defensive kinda manager. His 1st priority is DON'T CONCEED and he generally makes things difficult for opponents but his plans will crumble yet again because of 2 reasons. Chelsea's full backs are relatively weak compared to what they will be facing against Barcelona. Messi will surely outwit Ashley Cole and Ronaldinho will inflict brain damage on the Cannibal and this means Barca will enjoy freedom on the wings to get behind Chelsea's defence. Secondly, the inclusion of Lilian Thuram and Zambrotta will strengthen Barca's frail defence and Drogba + Sheva will sweat to make things happen. Barca has improved in their defence compared to last season but u cannot really see any improvement in Chelski's defence. Chelsea has not improved in their attack cos the team has struggled to score goals this season compared to last season but Barca has improved marginally with the arrival of Saviola and Eidur Gudjohnsen so in all Barca has a big advantage. I am not a prophet of doom but i naturally expect Chelsea to drop 6 points against Barca in those 2 tricky ties. |
Loyika is no doubt a comedian. How can u write so much and still miss the vital points like a free-throw shot. Ruud Van Nistelrooy's 2nd name should be GOALS. He has justified that times without number and he took Henry to the cleaners when he came to the Premiership. Ruud has scored against nearly all the good clubs he has played against. Bayern Munich, Juventus, Real Madrid, Lyon, Arsenal, Chelsea, Celtic, Bayern Leverkusen, Deportivo La Coruna, etc. He has out-witted the best goal-keepers in the world in Oliver Khan, Buffon, Iker Casillas and Carlo Cuddicini. I don't have to spell it out. Van is a bigger fish than TH as far as goal-scoring is concerned. Some might argue he is a box-18 player but i don't care as long as he puts the ball in the back of the net like he always seem to do. Henry played in Italy and France and he was a total failure in those leagues. Victor Ikpeba was the Prince of Monaco while Henry was there and Henry was generally subdued in his stay at Monaco before he came to the Premiership. The same Henry failed to find the net in 9 matches for Arsenal before he finally did. Van Nistelrooy, despite coming out of a 12-month injury spell found the net on his debut for Man Utd. U might think it was a fluke but how did he win the golden boot in his debut season at Man Utd scoring 10 goals in UEFA? Still a fluke? He won the golden boot title again the following season and he beat Henry to the Premiership's golden boot. Shouldn't that tell u Ruud is class? A player coming from the Dutch league(A league u condemned) and coming to the Premiership to claim his glory. Put Ruud anywhere on God's green earth and he will triple his worth. He was the only player till this day to score in 10 consecutive matches in the history of the English Premiership. We all saw how he out-classed Henry at Euro 2004 by scoring 4 classic goals. Where was Henry at that tournament? Nowhere to be found. TH chickened out when Barca came calling because he knew he would be over-shadowed by players like Messi, Etoo and Ronaldinho. Can Henry bench Samuel Etoo? U and I know the answer is NO. Henry decided to stay at Arsenal cos he knows that is the only place he can get the accolades. Ashley Cole said it all that Henry gets the royal treatment at Arsenal hence his reluctance to leave. Wenger claimed Henry has scored 8 goals against Man Utd but in how many games? Hatrick against Roma and 2 goals against Inter Milan in 7 years is all Wenger had to show for his kinsman Henry. However, Ruud has scored countless times against big opposition. Ruud scored in Bernabeu when United lost 1-3 to Real Madrid in 2002/03 and scored in the reutn leg at OT. RVN single-handedly destroyed Lyon's unbeaten run in 2004/05 season by scoring 2 goals in France and scoring at OT. Many Italian teams have suffered Ruud's wrath and who can forget the wonderful goal he scored in Wenger's courtyard in April 2003 when Man Utd visited Highbury. I can go on and on. Henry can boast of more accolades cos he came from France(a country that plays exceptional football). France has excelled as a footballing nation so whatever the country wins, Henry benefits from it. Holland on the other hand has under-achieved in the same period and this puts any player from Holland at a disadvantage. Check this----------Sheva has not won anything for his country but from ur analysis, Henry is better than Shevvy just because Henry is lucky to have come from France. What an analysis. U have the right to believe what u want but i can close my eyes and name 6 different strikers that are better than TH right now. These players have been tested and re-tested in various leagues and have justified their worth unlike TH that is stuck on the English soil. U claim Ronaldo de Lima is the only striker above Henry but lemme tell u categorically that Ronaldo once stated that Ruud Van Nistelrooy is the best striker in Europe in the last 5 years. I stopped reckoning with FIFA's nominations when John Terry made the World Cup tournament team ahead of Rio Ferdinand and when Cristiano Ronaldo lost out on the young player award. FIFA's list is jaded with politics and they can go on and name whoever as the best player of the year. The fact that Figo, Drogba and Ribery were chosen before Ruud should tell u that list is not only untrue but mis-guided. This argument has been analysed times without number in Sports magazine in England and the conclusion was always Henry a better team player-Ruud a better goal scorer. Henry needs to play really well to score goals whereas RVN only needs to appear in matches to score hatricks. Scoring goals is just too natural for RVN in the manner he pokes the ball into the net. He is the most dangerous striker in the world and lets watch where he will finish on the scorer's chart in La Liga. |
@ Loyika, Don't take sh.it personal. I don't have to paste links to justify my claims. Every average football fan knows Ruud's exploits in the game so pasting links will be beating a dead horse. If i should start putting up the stats here, the whole place will be boring and grotesque. U can go to uefa.com, soccerbase.com, wikipedias and Man Utd's archives and see Ruud's haulage of goals. I don't have time for links these days but prove me wrong in any of the stats i have shown and i will bring out links that supports ma claim. RVN is miles better than TH in terms of goal-poaching. Just reading now that RVN is among the very few strikers that have scored 4 goals in a single match in the UEFA champions league. Ruud has not scored more career goals than Henry because Ruud has played less games than Henry. Van Nistelrooy had a big feud with the former managers of Holland and he was being dropped countless times and hence he could not represent his country. Ruud's 1st major contribution for country was EURO 2004 while Henry has been playing for France since 1997. This has nuthing to do with the player's brilliance but just soccer politics. Giovanni Elber, Mario Jardel, Eric Cantona are classic examples of players that have been short-changed in their respective countries. Ruud has also spent more time on the doctor's table than Henry. I can remember vividly Ferguson had to wait for 1 year to sign Ruud in 2001. Van the Man was absent for 12 months due to cruciate knee ligament injury. 1 year absence in professional football is equal to about 60 matches for club and country and maybe 40-50 goals less for a player of Ruud's calibre. Anutha factor yet again is Arsenal's small squad size. In a team like Arsenal, every player gets to play because the team squad is small and Henry enjoys more premiership appearances than any striker in the league. Van Nistelrooy plays in a team where u have so many strikers and squad rotation is the key. If u add all these together u will understand why Henry has more appearances than Ruud. The only way to differentiate is the goal ratio and Ruud has more than Henry overall. Martin Tyler's analysis might be correct as at the time he made those statements but things have changed now. Ruud has already bagged a hatrick this season while Henry is still warming up to start scoring. |
@ Akolawole, I must disagree with u on this one. Barca is still slightly stronger than Chelsea and i will tell u why. Barcelona's strike force is the best in the whole world right now and it will take mother of all defences to stop those lads from scoring in 90 minutes. They have got Gudjohnsen, Messi, Ronaldinho, Guily and Saviola while Chelsea has just Shevchenko, Drogba and Kalou. We all know Chelski is better than Barca defensively but isn't attack the best form of defence? How will Chelsea attack Barcelona when the ball will be in Chelsea's half for 90 minutes? Barcelona is an all-out attack team which tells u why they play just 3 midfielders and 3 attackers. They have no holding midfielder in the likes of MAKELELE but they will sting opponent's life to death. One piece of advice for all Chelski fans: Beware of Gudjohnsen. Anutha classic battle will be Leo Messi Vs Ashley Cole. Its going to be a classic in terms of the number of soccer stars the match will display but i back Barcelona to win 3-1. |
@ Loyika, U like quoting heresies on a public forum and i aint gonna let this pass without adding my comments. First all, Henry is a light-weight compared to RUUD boy as far as goal-scoring is concerned. Henry played in France and Italy and he was a disaster while there. Henry winning the French League with monaco is not his individual efforts but as a team effort collectively. So lets forget the accolades or titles each player has won for either club or country and lets concentrate on the number of goals each player has scored in their respective careers. Don't let us mix individual brilliance with team's collective efforts. Henry scored a mere 20 goals in 105 games for Monaco and a paltry 3 goals in 28 starts for Juventus before he came to Arsenal. Ruud Van Nistelrooy scored a whooping 62 goals in 67 games for PSV and 13 goals in 31 games for SC Heerenveen at the age of 21. Henry was subdued when he came into the Premiership in his debut season and wasn't a ball of fire at Arsenal. Ruud became the 2nd highest goal scorer in the Premiership(1 goal short of Henry) and won the golden boot of the UEFA champions league in his debut. season. He had to be nominated the PFA player of the year in his debut season. This feat is yet to be achieved in the Premiership ever since. Ruud fired all cylinders in his 2nd season and won golden boot both in the Premiership and the Champions league in the same season. Henry finished below Ruud in the Premiership and was nowhere in the champions league scorer's chart. Ruud scored a whooping 44 goals for Man Utd in 2002/03. Henry is yet score 40 goals in a season in his entire career. Ruud has won 3 golden boots in the Champions league. Henry is yet to win any golden boot at the Champions league in his whole career. Ruud's goal ratio for country is 28 goals in 54 games(0.52) Henry's goal ratio for country is 38 goals in 90 games(0.42) Ruud has proved his mettle in 3 different leagues(Eredivisie, English Premiership and now La Liga) Henry is a local champion in the Premiership and is yet to excel in any football league outside the shores of England. Ruud is one of the few elites to have scored 4 goals in UEFA. Henry is yet to achieve that feat. Ruud is the 1st player to score 10 goals in UEFA champions league competition. He broke his own record the following season to notch 14 goals which no one has ever matched till this day. Henry has never scored more than 5 goals in a season at UEFA. What else do u wanna hear? I believe TH is a better player overall as he links the play, assists and contributes tremedously to his team BUT Ruud boy is a better finisher and a goal scoring machine which Henry can never surpass in his career. I will only put Henry ahead of Ruud if he can score more than 44 goals in a season either at Arsenal or any other club in the world. Ruud is a god of goals. |
@ Kitaun, Rooney is different. Put a player like Wazza on the bench at your own peril. Every striker passes through this stage and Rooney will pass thru this unscratched. Rooney's ineffectiveness bores down to football regulations taking out the passion from him. He cannot swear, he cannot contest for the ball, he cannot do the things he used to do without getting booked. Wazza has lost the rage and inferno and thats why he is now so ordinary. |
@ Loyika, U are the funniest goon on NL. Who do u think u are deceiving? Why must u always go to arsenal sites to talk about Wayne Rooney? I can go to Red Devil's sites and bring out comments people made about Wenger, Henry and Reyes as well. Which gunner acknowledges Wazza's supreme skills? Ya comments cannot be reckoned with cos it's biased. Wayne Rooney is one of the best players in the Premiership. Ferguson can never put Rooney on the bench cos he needs more games and NOT less games. Rooney is the epitome of the new Man United so he is as important as Ferguson in the club. I decided to snarl at davidylan cos he was talking thru his ass rather than from his head. Its pardonable to misinform the public when talking of other clubs but dont u ever mis-inform the public on any thing Man Utd. The passion i have for the club is awesome and it makes me wanna eat out people's hearts. U get me? |
I am having a laugh. It makes me laugh when i see scoundrels like u acting up on a public forum. Ya responses say a lot about ur IQ and i must confess ur IQ is unbelievably low. Dude, ur comments hold no water so throw 'em in the garbage. No sane individual will listen to a brianless mammal like ya unless there's a striking similarity between u 2s. Don't get it twisted---- U are a Arrow! |
@Davidylan, You talk more through ur ARSE than ur stinking mouth. There's nothing wrong with Wayne Rooney. He is just having his bad patch caused by the English FA and sorry-asses like u. U dare compare Cesc to Rooney? Where was Cesc when Arsenal played Barcelona, Man Utd(last season) and Chelsea(last season) Why was he non-existent in those matches and u still see him as a genius? Geeeeeeeeeez!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rooney has a special talent and even gurus like Diego Maradona thinks he is special. The only snag about him now is the way FIFA/UEFA is trying to change the rules and make footballers complete gentlemen. U cannot swear, U cannot take off ur shirts after scoring, U cannot do this n that and its making football so boring. English FA is trying to take the passion out of Rooney and this will only make him ordinary. Rooney does not tackle again for fear of being booked, He does not chase the ball anymore, He does not contest anymore and that is why he is looking so ordinary to the human eye. Stop talking thru ur ass on a public forum. If u dont have anything nice to say don't say nuthing or better still, start shinning shoes @ Manhattan. Plz. stop spreading wrong information. U think u know but u know nuthing. |
@ Jaguda. I dunno where to start witcha. The only thang i can tell u is u sound so much like a horse's arse. I have a right to watch and talk about any team i so wish to talk about so take ur Nigerian league and shove it up ur stinking ass. The 2 major English teams are Liverpool and Man Utd. Arsenal and Chelsea are still coming up and are not there just yet. @ Loyika, No comments. I will catch ya on the battlefield else where. This thread has been invaded by soccer mediocres and the scums of Nairaland. So watch out for me on the battlefield. |
![]() Finally, i got Loyika wound up like an electrical coil. What are u getting amped up for? I don't even know u from Adam and its your statement i attacked not your personality. Aiiight? Feel free to write whatever. Arsene Wenger is the best developer of talents and the best manager the world has seen U are entitled to your own aggressive opinions. Stay calm before u lose a blood vessel. @Poodle, your comments can be likened to a kid of five. Do u care to know the number of English players in Man Utd compared to Arsenal's foreign legions. A dead Rooney is a bit better than the fittest Arsenal player so please live with that. Arsene Wenger has floored Man Utd head to head in the number of matches played? Can u say the same in the number of trophies won by the 2 managers? What yard-stick is being used to measure a succesful manager? Is it the number of matches won with a rival club OR the number of trophies acquired by a Manager? Please do the math. Like i have said earlier, your comments will be suitable in a drinking bar or pub-where people are dead-drunk. Buncha green Schmuks. |
@ Loyika, Stop acting like a dumb-ass. Walcott was un-earthed by Southampton FC not Arsenal. Jermaine Pennant was stolen from Notts County FC in 1999 by Wenger but u cannot really call him a speacial talent. He is yet to break into the National Team so dont even mention a player of his calibre. Tell me one good player Wenger groomed that made the England Squad apart from Ashley Cole? None. Its easy for u to quote what Glen Roeder or Southgate has said about Wenger but if i should bring out the comments everyone has made on Ferguson u will stare in disbelief. U even made a monkey of urself by listing Arsenal's runner-up achievement at the last UEFA champions league. Is being a runner-up an achievement? In fact, i have lost the appetite to comment more on this topic after reading ur comments. Continue to celebrate failures. Afterall, y'all guys celebrated 4th position last season. |
Tougher fixtures lie ahead of every team in the Premiership as there are 31 games or so to still play. Man United is a bit jaded right now because the attack line has been changed more than a baby's diapers in the last 7 Premiership games. Saha has copped anutha injury yet again which suggests why Ole was selected on sunday. I cant wait to have Giggsy back in the team as he allows Cristiano Ronaldo to dart left and right instead of roaming on the left side permanently. JS Park should have deputised for Giggsy but he is injured as well there by paralysing one side of the United's limbs. United should hold fort with the arrival of Gabriel Heinze and the injury of Silvestre(the best news i heard this season) Heinze gives 110% on the pitch and he was the reason why we thrashed Benfica on their home soil. United became the 1st English team to win on a Portugese soil and that credit should be given to Heinze, Van Der Sar and Ronaldo. The most formidable defence line for United is Gary Neville, Vidic, Ferdinand and Heinze/Evra. Midfield area is my area of concern as Carrick plays too soft for my liking. He has no grit like Roy Keane, Patrick Vieira or even Xabi Alonso. Michael needs to start throwing the tackles in like Smithy or Makelele- break legs if u have to and stay fit. United has the most potent attack in the Premiership for the last 12-18 months. This is evident in the number of goals scored last season and the goals scored this season. Saha must stay fit. if United really wanna challenge for the title. Cristiano Ronaldo is the best young talent in England and should Rooney find his feet-all hell will be let loose. Man U should be okay and i know most teams will get beaten at OT this season. Arsenal's defeat was a fluke cos i am not convinced Arsenal will produce the same results with the same team and the same circumstances if they square up again. I can't wait for United to visit the glamorous Emirates Stadium next year. Up United. |
Man Utd is back on top. It feeels so good to be on top especially after some disappointing results lately. Cristiano Ronaldo produced anutha stellar performance against the Geordies. This boy gets better and better by the day and he was very unlucky to have hit the post on 3 occasions. He mesmerised, dazzled and outshone all the players on the pitch today. This was a match United could have won by an 8-goal margin and it beats me why United didn;t take it's chances. Fletcher was brilliant and Edwin Van Der Sar should have brought his deck-chair as he was not troubled throughout. Paul Scholes was anutha important figure while Carrick still needs to convince the OT fans he's worthy of a red shirt. Ole Solskjaer wrapped everything up with 2 dodgy goals. Bravo to the babyface assassin-Arsenal, are u watching? @ otolorin, U know nuthing about football to think Evra plays better than Gabby Heinze. If u want to know why Heinze is the most-rated player? Go and watch Benfica V Man U(last week's UEFA champions league tie) Man U became the 1st English team to win on a Portugese soil and this was to Heinze's credit. |
@ Kitaun, Did u say set-back for Barca? U can't be serious. A team that has Ronaldinho, Messi, Gudjohnsen, Guily and Saviola as attackers is as potent as a nuke. I watched 'em ripped Athletico Bilbao apart this evening and it was awesome. Gudjohnsen will pose problems for Chelsea and i can't wait to see anutha exciting tie between the 2 teams. |
SUPERDROG is on fire. He has just scored anutha wonderful goal against Aston Villa. Drogba has finally justified his price-tag. |
There's no controversy here. OBJ is the worst President Nigeria has ever had under democracy. Comparing military rulers to OBJ is a bit unfair because OBJ as a democratic president has more incentives to succeed but he has even failed more. What has OBJ done to better the lives of Nigerian citizens? Fuel prices are on the rise. People cannot afford the basic necessities of life and some lunatics on this thread think OBJ has done well. Go to the streets of Lagos and see the degradation of human lives. People are homeless and hungry. OBJ does not value human lives as it was evident in the Odi saga. In the developed world he would have been tried of genocide. How can a democratic leader order the execution of a whole village? Are we in the days of Adolf Hitler? Foreign Exchange rates has gotten worse since the notorious p.i.g.(OBJ) got into power. Crime rates are soaring, Epileptic power supply People have completely lost faith in the judiciary and the Nigerian Police Force and Nigeria will be 46 in a few days. Any individual on this thread who thinks OBJ has done well is a traitor to Nigeria. Abacha as a democratic president would have done better than OBJ. This is OBJ's 7th year as a leader and he has nothing to show for it than pointing accusing fingers to Atiku and forming a puppet commision known as EFCC to witch-hunt his political enemies. If OBJ dies today, people will cheer it more than they cheered Abacha's death in 1998. OBJ has caused so much pains and anguish in the heart of Nigerians especially in the Niger Delta area. More people have been laid off at work, 70% of the graduates are jobless and this is supposed to be the democracy we have been praying for. If this is what Democracy is all about in Ngeria i think i prefer the military era. I have not been able to place a finger on a positive thang OBJ has done in his 9 yearsof administration. OBJ should rot in hell and posterity shall judge his fat belly of corruption. |
Arsene Wenger is a bloody hypocrite. He has the largest cache of foreign imports in his club and he is pointing out foreign invasion in the Premiership. How daft is that? I cannot understand how a club manager has completely neglected the youth academy in his club and keeps signing foreign legions. How many players in Arsenal's academy have graduated to make Arsenal's starting 11 in Wenger's 10 years of management? As a developer of talents, Wenger has failed woefully. All he cares about is to raid other club's academy and sign the bright players there. I am yet to see Wenger develop a player from the very roots save Ashley Cole. Greatpeter:What has Wenger delivered in his 10 years at Arsenal? No UEFA Champions League title. No back to back Premiership titles No treble Only won a mere 3 Premiership titles in 11 years. In spite of his policy of foreign legion, he has not done particularly well so whats the fuss about? I sincerely believe Wenger is a wimp. |
Ferguson can get other players. There are so many good midfielders around that are not playing in the Champions League. Marcos Senna and Roman Riquelme are still up for grabs. The buy-out clause on Fernando Torres has been slashed so he can be bought now. Back to the Prem, United should nick the 3 points easily. Ronaldo and Rooney to score the goals. |
ROTFLMAOWPIMP ![]() Hurt ma brain cells or hurting yours? Anyways, learn to reason more objectively and stop speaking through your ass. Faking a redneck's speak ??Is that English? U cannot even speak coherently to save a life. Are u a common miscreant trying to feel funky? Hey yo 50 cent, Gimme one of your bullet-proof vests. A lunatic is licking shots on this thread. @ Iyke-D What meaningful thing has OBJ done? How has he been able to better the life of an average man on the streets of Nigeria? A country where people are still homeless, cannot afford 3 decent meals and are struggling to clothe themselves. Open your eyes and reason like an intellect. OBJ is a failure. |
