Gallas better than Henize? Yea right.
Try Joseph Yobo is better than John Terry.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Jackal(m): 6:59pm On Oct 30, 2006
Bloody gooners!!!!!!!!!!
They will always open their mouths to spew absolute bollocks.
William Gallas? He is not even rated on the global level.
U get to hear Gallas' name pften cos he was lucky to have played for Chelsea and thats about it.

Heard someone say Gallas won Bleep-all for country.
What has Gallas won for country if i may ask? Zilch.
He is just an average player who can be compared to Mikel Silvestre and the likes of Sol Campbell.
Gallas will not even make the top10 left-backs in the world.

Van Brockhorst, Silvinho, Grandpa Paolo Maldini and Roberto Carlos are all better than Will Gallas.
Can Gallas play for Argentina if he happens to come from there? No fucking way.
He doesn't have that quality cos he aint a natural defender.
Gallas is anutha example of a player that developed himself to be a defender.
His skills are not in-born.

Only a deranged human being would rate Gallas more than Gabriel Heinze.
Even the most myopic sonofabitch knows the truth but gooners will always argue as everything Arsenal is always the best in their own eyes.
I have heard some gays comparing Emirates stadium to Old Trafford.
Wenger compared to Ferguson. Theo Walcott compared to Rooney and some other stupid comparisons u can think of.
When would Arsenal fans be reasonable for once? I think until OBJ becomes the president of the United States. shocked
shocked
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Jackal(m): 1:25pm On Oct 30, 2006
@ Kitaun,
I am sure u are backing Gallas now cos he plays for Arsenal.
12 months ago u would have backed Cashley Cole as the best left-back.
What makes u think Gallas is more established?
Heinze is regarded as one of the best left-backs in the world and u are still talking Premiership.
Gabby won an Olympic medal in 2004 with Argentina.

FYI, Gallas is not even a left-back player.
He plays in the centre of the defence and Jose only used him as a left-back when Del Horno wasn't performing and Wayne Bridge was injured.
Playing constantly as a left-back was where he started getting frustrated as a Chelski player.
Heinze is better than Gallas from all departments.
Don't even compare them.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Jackal(m): 12:03pm On Oct 30, 2006
@ Kitaun,
Even the most biased Chelsea fan knows Heinze is better than Gallas in Heinze's debut season.
He came in and settled in real fast to become OT's cult hero.
How many foreign players have been able to achieve that feat in their debut season?
Del Horno was shambolic and little wonder he got kicked out real quick.
It makes me happy whenever OT fans shout ARGENTINA ARGENTINA whenever Heinze does something spectacular.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Jackal(m): 10:22pm On Oct 29, 2006
@ Kitaun,
U make me laugh.
Heinze was injured throughout last season.
He got injured from Sep 2005 and did not kick a ball until the world cup.
So how do u expect him to be on the fake Actim Index that only recognises players from the big 4 teams in England.
Check your facts right.

Heinze is class.
I watched how he shut out Arsenal's efficient attack at the Pizzagate and the return leg @ Highbury.
He answered all what Dennis Bergkamp, Thierry Henry and Jose Reyes threw at him and United were triumphant in those fixtures.
I sometimes wonder that lad might die on the pitch one day because he gives 110% since his arrival from PSG.

*******This freaky time difference will cause chaos on this forum.
My post reads 10.22pm when its just 9.22 pm here.
I think Seun should reset this whole shhhhit.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Jackal(m): 9:29pm On Oct 29, 2006
Wayne Bridge, Ashley Cole and William Gallas?
I am having a laugh. grin grin grin grin grin grin

Wayne Bridge cannot even get into the national team.
He is the wackest defender in the Premiership by miles.
No 1st team shirt for club and country.
He would not get into national teams in France, Germany or Spain.

Ashley Cole used to be good but he's lost it.
No passion, no football brains but he still gets the hype cos he is a Brit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He is a light-weight and he is not an utility player as he can only play as a left-back.
Cole is the most overrated player in the Premiership.

Gallas is very goood but he is nowhere near Heinze.
Gabriel left a legacy in France(where Gallas came from) as the best defender that has ever played for PSG in their fucking history.
Heinze, despite being a defender, won the player of the year at Man Utd in his debut season in a list that included Ronaldo and Rooney.
He is awesome, fearsome and has the most grittiest of tackles in the Premiership.
Sports › Re: Drogba Simply Africa's Best! No Beef by Jackal(m): 6:31pm On Oct 29, 2006
He is the best in the world at the moment.
His records still live after him as he is the 1st player to score more than 50 goals in 2 seasons in the Spanish league since 1990.
Ronaldo, Raul, David Villa, Diego Forlan, Zidane, Figo, Morientes, Saviola, Fernando Torres and many more strikers could not achieve this feat.
This record alone without other achievements has set him higher than any striker in the world at the moment.
Sports › Re: Drogba Simply Africa's Best! No Beef by Jackal(m): 6:18pm On Oct 29, 2006
@ tosinadeda,
Thanx for reminding me.
He was the top scorer at the ACN 2006.
His country did not feature at the world cup but he has la liga's golden boot under his belt to neutralise that.
Champions league medal and La liga's medal are also his achievements.

Can u say that about Drogba? Nah.
Drogba has only scored 27 goals for Chelsea in all competitions and this is his 3rd season. What a poor return for a striker?
Etoo scored 25 goals in La Liga alone last season so the DIFFERENCE is bloody clear except fpr some myopic and pretensious souls on NL.
Compare Drogba to Etoo? Try Eedris and 50 cent. grin
Sports › Re: Drogba Simply Africa's Best! No Beef by Jackal(m): 6:06pm On Oct 29, 2006
@ tosinadeda,

Etoo won't be judged on his performances in the last quarter of the year.
He would be judged based on his performances from January till September.
In that period, he clinched the pichichi, UEFA champions league medal and the La Liga title.
Who can forget his winning goal against Chelski and his equaliser against the gunners in the finals of Champions league.
He single-handedly sent Jens Lehmann off the pitch within 15 minutes of play and so on n forth.

Etoo is the best pure striker in the world.
He has played as the central striker as well as on either wing in an attempt to stymie teams who man-mark the Barca front three.
In 2005/06 season he became the first player since the 1990 season to score 50 goals over 2 seasons in the history of La Liga.
It might seem i am sounding a bit biased but Etoo's amazing records cannot be over-looked
He uses both feet efficiently and can play anywhere in the front role UNLIKE Drogba.
Etoo is a distinguished striker well known for his outstanding positional awareness and shooting techniques.
He is the king of Africa.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Jackal(m): 3:40pm On Oct 29, 2006
@ nuggard,
U made a syntax error shocked.
Evra ahead of Gabby Heinze? No fucking way.
Heinze is what defines a defender. Thats why he is the best left-back in England.
His inconsistencies these days can be attributed to injuries and lack of match fitness.
Watch Heinze closely when he is fully fit and u will be forced to change your minds.
U can never doubt Heinze's passion on the pitch as no one deserves the red shirt more than him @ Man utd.

Evra has settled in well no doubt.
He started slow but he has fitted perfectly into the team with his tenacious tackles and amazing runs to help Giggsy/Cristiano.
The 2 players are by far the best left-backs in the Premiership(there are not too many of them lying in England).
Mikael Silvestre, Wes brown and John O'Shea should please stay out and help the reserves in Carling Cup and premilinary rounds of the FA cup.
Silvestre has lost his defensive initiatives as he makes mistakes after mistakes in every match.
The best line-up in the defence should always be Neville, Rio , Vida and Heinze/Evra.

Etoo is the best striker in the world at the moment and thats OFFICIAL.
I heard someone say Drogba helps in the defence--what bollocks?
Drogba helping out the defence is a gross mis-appropriation of responsibilities.

The role of any striker is to put the ball at the back of the net.
I dunno what any out and out striker should be doing in the defence helping out.
How many times have u seen Thierry Henry or Ruud Van Nistelrooy helping the defence.
U cannot judge Drogba better than Etoo based on the help he offers the defence.

Etoo is sharper and poses more threat than any African striker in the world at the moment.
Barca has surely missed him which explains why they lost the el-clasico and to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
The Barca attack lacks the cutting edge Etoo provides when he combines with Dinho and Leo Messi.
Gudjohnsen in place of Etoo is like replacing Francis Jeffers for Thierry Henry at Arsenal.
Its a round peg in a square hole.

ETOO is the man.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Jackal(m): 7:52pm On Oct 28, 2006
@ Bolaoni,
Congrats on today's match.
United should have scored 5 goals in the first 20 minutes.
The attack was tenacious and i realised we missed Ronaldo and Giggsy playing together.
They were changing flanks randomly and Bolton was confused on how to man-mark.
This was what we lacked against Arsenal where Ronaldo was permanently stuck on the left-side of the attack.

Rooney was stupendous.
The lad possess a vicious football brain, pace, raw skills and the deftest of touches.
Saha has also improved remarkably and he was dangerous all night.
The un-sung hero has to be Vidic.
Vida handled all what Bolton threw at him and he was in a commanding role in the heart of the defence.
Ferdinand was on vacation and he should have sat back in his Cheshire mansion.

In this form, United will demolish, rip, and tear any team apart.
Defence is rock-solid.
5th clean sheet in 10 Premiership games and 7th clean sheet in all competitions is not a bad return.
Vidic and Ferdinand must continue their awesome partnership to shore up the defence tight.

Midfield is also seem to be gelling as Carrick has found some rhythm to his game.
His inch-perfect passes today caused whole lotta problems for Bolton.
Scholesy was immense in the middle of the pack and he supplied good passes to the strikers all day.

Ronaldo and Ronney?
What a terrible combo for Premiership defenders.
How can u stop these enfantz terrible on their day?
The world's best young footballers by miles.
The duo has already been nominated in the FIFpro's best young talents award.
I'd be surprised if Wazza or Ronnie fails to cop the award.
United must continue with this form so as to knock Chelski off the top in a matter of weeks.

Everton is a strong team and i was too sure they would fight tooth and nail to neutralise Wenger's tip-tap tactics.
Good job, David Moyes.
Thanx for stealing points off Wenger.

Sports › Re: Please Can Arsenal Compete? I'm Getting Scared by Jackal(m): 5:27pm On Oct 28, 2006
@ Grizzly,
Chelski got roasted last season by a reserve Man Utd team at Old Trafford.
No Roy Keane, Ryan Giggs, Gary Neville + Gabriel Heinze and United still demolished Chelsea.
Chelsea will be grilled black this time around and i can't wait for it to happen especially when Petr Cech has amnesia.
I am sure he wld goof it at OT and handle a back-pass from John Terry. grin

@ Vieira,
Thats why its a league.
United will walk over Everton easily especially with Saha and Wazza's partnership.
I get scared of smaller teams than the so called "big teams".
Sheffield, Crewe and even Stoke city might scare United but not Everton.

Bolton missed Nolan a great deal but u gast to give credits to Vidic and Ferdinand.
They made United's defence impregnable and that was the key to today's victory.
Arsenal will bounce back but i pray they do in February when the gap would have been 18 points. grin
U can catch me at ESTABLISHMENT tonight, mate.
I wanna buy u a drink. grin grin grin grin
Sports › Re: Kanu On Goal Rampage: Remains Highest Goal Scorer by Jackal(m): 5:13pm On Oct 28, 2006
Rooney's already on his back.
However, i really have to commend Kanu's efforts this season.
A player so many people have condemned is the highest goal scorer in the premiership.

I am still fazed no one signed or made an attempt to sign him before Harry Redknapp did.
What a shrewd buy this is fast becoming for Pompey?
Kanu can stay up there if Pompey stays consistent.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Jackal(m): 5:05pm On Oct 28, 2006
Very convincing especially against a Bolton side that has not lost or conceeded a goal at home this season.
Rooney and Ronaldo played some breath-taking football and this United team is capable of killing teams provided all players stay fit.
Ferguson would be proud of today's display and the only smear was Patrice Evra's injury.
I hope it wasn't too bad.
Sports › Re: Please Can Arsenal Compete? I'm Getting Scared by Jackal(m): 5:01pm On Oct 28, 2006
I am having a huge laugh.
It makes me wonder which tie looked easier by the results.
Wazza's re-awakening is awesome while the North London touts could only force a draw at the Emirates.
How i wish Andy Johnson converted his half chance?
Tim Howard spoilt the gunners weekend with some breath-taking saves.

United are now 7 points ahead of Arsenal.
Catch us if u can gunners---------------------
Rooney's resurgence means trouble for all concerned.
The title challenge will go down to the wire this season.
Bring Chelski and lets roast em at Old Trafford.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Jackal(m): 4:48pm On Oct 28, 2006
Rooney's HATRICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Where are Wazza's critics.
Rooney has now scored his 1st ever hatrick in the premiership against a Bolton side who has just lost twice in 30 home games.
Bolton is unbeaten at home this season and Wayne took matters in his own hands and scored a hatrick.

United is on fire.
Saha, Rooney n Ronaldo are brimming with confidence.
Who can stop Wazza?

@ nosa101,
Scoring a 3rd goal like that in an away match is a screamer.
Bolton fans will be devastated by their team's performance.
Lemme pop some cristal while Wazza grabs the match ball.

They have an uncanny ability of defending their leads with boring formations and defensive/ time-wasting tactics.
Wenger will be shitting in his pants now.

A win at the reebok stadium should be 6 points.

Chelski and United are the only 2 teams that go there and have a field day.
Wenger is yet to win at Bolton in his entire career and Everton is greasing their tight-ass presently.

@ Vieira,
May God Bless you.
U have hit the nail on the head.
British Press is all about exaggeration and they do it in both ways.

If one gets succesful, they overhype it more than success itself and they do the opposite if one fails.
Can u remember when David Beckham used to be the English icon?
Is there any kool adjective in the dictionary that the press didn't use to describe Beckham?
He was almost made a god but can u say the same these days? Nah.

They have shifted to Rooney and Coleen.
Now its Coleen this n that. Coleen was once voted as the best dressed female in UK and blah blah blah.
In anutha couple of years they will treat like her shiiiiiiit and with their razor-mouths.
Thats what the British press is all about and the freedom given to the press is alarming.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Jackal(m): 9:11am On Oct 26, 2006
@ Kitaun,
Quinton Fortune, Eric Djemba-Djemba and Mikel Obi are Africans.
Ferguson is a developer of young talents and African players always have the age descrepancy syndrome.
Do u believe in your heart of hearts that Kolo Toure is 25?  That lad cannot be less than 40!!!!!!!!!!! grin grin grin grin grin
Someone told me Emmanuel Adebayor is also 22? How sick is that?

@ justkunmi,
It wasn't that easy because i watched the match LIVE.
Crewe Alexander made United sweat for it last night. They played like they had nuthing to lose and it almost paid off for then.
Kieran Richardson was the major culprit as he missed 3 good chances that could have sealed the game in 90 minutes.
He smashed the post twice and he missed an absolute sitter when he was put through one on one with the goalkeeper.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is the most clinical finisher in the Premiership today.
His first goal was audacious and it got me thinking how a player can be so talented.
Crewe rallied back and peppered United's defence with decent attempts and they got lucky in the 2nd half.
The match stretched into extra time and Alan Smith tailored a 40-yard through pass for Kieran Lee to score an emphatic goal on the last minute of the extra time.

It was cruel and disappointing for the home fans and Ferguson was apologetic to the Crewe's manager.
United left it too late but they got the hard-earned victory.
The 4th round draw has condemned United to visit anutha lower division team, Southend FC.
Our friends @ North London has drawn Everton FOR THEIR SINS. grin
