@ loyika and kitaun, For once i agree with you on the ARROGANCE kizzack. Man Utd is arrogant in the way the team bludgeons London clubs in the Premiership. The team is arrogant in the manner they score mouth-watering goals against sloppy London clubs. Loyika now wants Mourinho's Chelski to win because he detests Man Utd. Who cares? Everybody hates United but we don't give 2 fcuks about it. The hatred got us 8 titles in 14 years which is not a bad return for we Mancunians. Keep hating while we keep beating all y'all. Hate it or love it Man Utd will dismantle and shatter Wenger's dreams on sunday. The scores will be 3-0 to Man United with Eboue or Gallas seeing RED. GLORY GLORY UNITED. |
@ Loyika, I shed tears for the gooners. Who would have thought the gunners would go down this way at the start of a new season? I am going to plead with Alex Ferguson to roll out the weakest United team possible so y'all guys can win and come out of your predicaments. ![]() Maybe United should roll out the female team on Sunday to at least get the gunners some vital 3 points. Arsenal has only scored 1 goal(excluding Henry's dodgy penalty-kick) all season where United hit 11 goals home. Arsenal has just 2 points when United has 12 maximum points. This is quite unbelievable. FA should just postpone this match because i like it more when United faces a strong Arsenal side. Arsenal's match on sunday will be a walk-over. 6 London clubs are currently in the Premiership. 3 are DOWN already(Fulham, Spurs and Charlton) with 3(Arsenal, West Ham and Chelski) more to go. GLORY GLORY UNITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
@ Hustler, Of course. Real Madrid fans will lose their patience on him if he fails to deliver the goods. This does not mean Van Nistelrooy is not a good player but fans demand so much more from strikers these days and i am happy Ruud must have silenced all critics with his stellar performance. Secondly, Ruud should not expect to play all the time in a club as big as Madrid. If he extends his big player attitude to Madrid he would be axed by Capello. Cassano, Robinho, Reyes(the prodigal son), Ronaldo and Raul also have rights to start matches. The use of English is ur greatest undoing. Always take time to read between the lines and decipher messages hidden in comments. Wake up fast before u get lost in ur wonderland. ![]() |
This is going to be my last take on this annoying transfer saga. I have watched for days as this issue degenerated into ugly name callings and politicking. I still cannot believe how Chelsea allowed this transfer to generate so much controversy. The controversial claims that Gallas threatened to score an own goal was the brainchild of one of Chelsea's leading lights and its a shame. I must admit Gallas is not completely innocent of all these claims but a professional player will never threaten to score an own goal or get sent off deliberately. Chelsea's apparent siege mentality is far from the similar attitude that once made Manchester United the most hated club in the land-and that their players and supporters(Amodu, Grizzly, Lalaboi, Wormedup, Akola etc) are the ones that are suffering. What annoys me the most is the fact that Chelsea seem to think they are like Man Utd as the team everyone hates. Where Chelsea is missing the point is that Man U were pretty much hated by everyone and everywhere they went for their football- people disliked them because they won games everywhere. The hatred for Chelsea isn't about football-Its the way the club is being run. I must confess some members of the club are outstanding people. John Terry, Frank Lampard, Petr Cech and Claude Makelele have all got decent characters but they are getting no credits. These lads play decent football but struggling to get the credits because of what is going on. Chelsea needs to clean up their public image which is ARROGANCE. There was a lot of backlash and criticism of them doing it first of all, then they go and release what I can only assume are allegations and not fact against William Gallas to smudge up his character. With all due respect are we to believe them? This is the Chelsea that two seasons ago were fined by UEFA for allegations they made against Barcelona's manager, Frank Rijkaard. The same football club that LIED about the whole Ashley Cole meeting, saying Jose Mourinho wasn't even there and was actually in Italy. So why are we to believe Chelsea's allegations? And I'm not entirely sure Roman Abramovich is worried by it. He had a reputation when he was making his vast amounts of money of, if you take the old adage that if it ain't broke don't fix it. For him to sit there and not intervene while all this is going on proves it doesn't bother him. Maybe he likes the way things are going and laughing his ass off while watching 2 great London clubs have a go at each other. Who says the EPL ain't exciting? God bless the Premiership. |
I never knew Arsene is ur boyfriend. Sorry, Mrs Wenger-to-be. |
Priscila:I know Wenger and his goons have won the 1st four league matches before BUT Man United has never started this poorly ever before in the Premiership. Arsenal's performance has been shambolic and nauseating. Wenger's gay head should be demanded by fans for leading a club like Arsenal into doom. 17th position on the league table? What a shame!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Little did u know Arsenal might be locking the 20th position come sunday. ![]() The Gooners in the house are in trouble this week. ![]() Passion and excitement is gradually building up. Kitaun and Nightrider-----------Where y'all at? |
There they go again. |
@ Priscilla, No one will fit into Van Nistelrooy's boot in the whole EPL. He is the best goal poacher in the world-no controversy. A player that has been able to justify his value in 3 different leagues is more than a LEGEND. |
Priscilla sounds so optimistic. How do u prevent the tenacious United attack from scoring in 90 minutes? Its just frigging impossible. Smaller teams will do it but Arsenal can never do it. Maybe i should let you know the force Arsenal will come against. Wayne Rooney:The most exciting and precocious young talent in the world. A powerhouse performer, Rooney puts the fear of God into any defence he faces. With immense strength, a thunderbolt shot, pace and great vision he is the complete modern day forward. A true match-winner which every team craves. Cristiano Ronaldo: A hugely talented player and supremely skilful and has the ability to be the best player in the world. He is new-improved and his mesmeric step-overs will cause extensive damage to any defence in the world. Ronaldo was named FIFPro special young player in 2005. A very tough customer for the gunners. The 1st player to score 2 goals in 5 minutes against the gunners. |
Saha is crap when u compare him to the clinical finishing of Wayne Rooney and Ruud Van Nistelrooy. He had a one on one situation with Paul Robinson and he blasted the ball like a mongolian idiot against the goalie when a simple chip wld have just finished it off. How many more of his shambolic finishing will i witness this season? He has got everything else in speed, pace, mobility and aerial prowess but he lacks finishing. Guissepe Rossi wld have done better than Saha did on saturday and that is highly unacceptable. A team in form should score as many goals as possible and Saha is clogging the wheels. I am glad Wazza is back from suspension. He is the missing ingredient in United's attack. |
@ wormedup, You are harsh. Don't u think its damn too early for Arsenal to start winning matches? Afterall, there are still 35 games left to play. Henry is tired. Emirates Pitch is too long. The weather is too hot. The team just lost Ashley Cole. Lehmann has got the flu. Wenger is bidding his time. Other teams are too defensive. Ljunberg should have had a penalty. Referees are getting partial and blah blah blaoooooow. Bunch of schmuks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can anyone tell me what position Arsenal would occupy on the Premiership table if they lose at Old Trafford on sunday? |
Van The Man: Real Madrid's New Cult Hero Van Nistelrooy has extended his goal poaching prowess into La Liga this season. He bagged his hatrick after just 2 league matches for Real Madrid in the most awesome performance ever witnessed in the Bernabeu. Ruud is a prolific striker with an outstanding finishing ability and top draw reflexes who is on top of his game. Can RVN snatch the pichichi from Samuel Etoo this season?
|
@ Kitaun, One thing i have to give y'all gunners is the fact that u over-estimate the potentials of ur team. Even when Arsenal went unbeaten, they could not beat Man. Utd, let alone when they are the whipping team. Enyimba FC will def'ly pick 3 points from United on sunday but definitely not Arsenal. Arsenal can NEVER take 3 points from Man Utd at Old Trafford with this shambolic form they are. The fact is, Arsenal's game play is too elaborate. They wanna walk the ball into the net and no one does that easily these days. Arsene Wenger has no plan B and i dont think the situation will change until we take the vital 3 points on sunday. I am gonna start an online mass appeal to Ferguson to let Arsenal get away with a draw to save Wenger's job. This time next week, Arsenal will be at the bottom of the table and i will laugh ma ass off. Next week is going to boil for y'all gunners. I am sure there's going to be a mass exodus of fans from Arsenal this month. |
So u figured Arsenal is not getting the points because other teams play too defensive? Thats no excuse. Chelsea and Man Utd face the same ordeal week in-week out and they always deal with it. Why is Arsenal now making it a big issue? It shows how daft Wenger is if he cannot put up a strategy to beat a defensive formation. Afterall, it was a formation he deployed himself in the last season's UEFA champions league. United is the only team that does not play defensive in the Premiership. "Attack + Attack + Attack" is the slogan at Old Trafford as playing defensive is highly unacceptable to the die-hard fans. Lets see how genuine your excuse will be after Arsenal takes a whack at OT next week. Wayne Rooney will kontinue his unfinished business and put more agony into Wenger's misery. Honestly, i will be glad if United can let go of the 3 points to help your position but Gunners on Nairaland are too boastful. On a second thought, I think United should strike with all their might and put the fear of the Lord on Arsene Wenger and Gunners worldwide to keep their loud-ass mouthz shut whenever great teams are being discussed. |
@ Bolaoni, I will reserve ma comments till Wednesday. It will be highly unfair to start haunting 'em gooners now cos i am gonna haunt em for 3 weeks after our victory next sunday. Arsene Wenger's job is hanging on one side. ![]() This season has lived up to its billing already. God bless the Premiership. |
Loyika and Kitaun- Where are you? Anutha 3 points in the bag already for United while Arsenal is still struggling to win decently. I don't understand why u think a team(SPURS) that has failed to beat United at OT in the last 17 years would win especially when Man Utd is on fire. Sorry mates, Arsenal is going down. Who wants to bet? Arsenal will be at the bottom come next sunday. United to smash Arsenal 3-0 next sunday. Wayne Wonder is back again. ![]() |
18 years is way too old for what's required. U wld have had a chance if u were a bit more younger like age 10-14 yrs. There's no international experience to add to ur profile. I am sorry, son. U cannot play professional football in England. Maybe u should look elsewhere in Europe. |
U wish!!!!!!!!! Arsene Wenger has completely lost the plot with the list of relics in his team. United will plunge Arsenal to the bottom of the table by next weekend. I trust Wazza and Ronnie to spank Wenger's team again this year, its a tradition to always beat Arsenal!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
@ rikkyjen, Saha is crap- i agree with u. He missed absolute sitters last night and that is unacceptable but Rooney, Scholesy, Smithy and Heinze will join the team this week. Do u think Arsenal will cope with United's tenacious and relentless attack? Reading FC or Sheffield United might snatch 3 points from United but Arsenal won't because of the old rivalry. |
@ Kitaun, The fear of United is the beginning of wisdom. Don't forget United will have Wazza(Rooney) and Scholesy available against Arsenal. The last team Arsenal wanna meet now is Man Utd cos it will be a basket of goals. Ferguson has picked up Barclays manager of the month and Giggsy clinched Barclays player of the month. Solskjaer and Smith might also be given a run come next weekend. The Gunners are in trouble. ![]() |
Man Utd is on the roll. 4 wins in 4 matches is phenomenal. GLORY GLORY UNITED. I can't believe Arsenal is our next opponent. Guess what? Rooney and Scholes will feature in that match as they have completed their respective bans. Arsenal will lose again next weekend. ![]() |
I hope Arsenal won't have to fight relegation this season. Arsenal has now lost a massive 7 points in just 3 games. Man Utd marches on and a massive 10 points now seperate United and Arsenal. Can Arsenal survive this set-back? Emirates stadium is bad luck and maybe Wenger should return to Highbury where the small pitch favours Henry and goons. |
Premiership champion in this form? Lets forget it-Arsenal has lost the verve already. Meanwhile, what happened to Lampard? I cannot believe Lampard will ever lose a penalty at the bridge. He is one of the most consistent penalty takers in England and he let me down big time. I trust Jose to rally Chelsea back to winning ways. Game on-Akola!!!!!!!!!!! |
Boro has done it again. 10 men of Boro held 11-man-Arsenal to a draw. Arsenal has now lost 7 points in just 3 matches. ![]() By next sunday, they would have lost 10 points in 4 matches. |
Boro's been robbed. Harsh red card decison for Boateng and a soft penalty for Arsenal. Henry was helped to get his 1st goal from the spot-kick. Shame on Arsenal and the CURSE placed on their new stadium. Can a 10-man Boro hold Arsenal to a draw? |
The 5 fans protesting are probably fans that get erections for Ruud and Roy Keane. Only 5 idiotic fans out of over 50 million fanbase all over the world is quite insignificant. Ferguson gets booed every season and he relishes being criticised. |
Arsenal has conceeded again at the Emirates stadium to Perennial giant beaters(Middlesboro). I really cannot wait for teams like Man Utd, Liverpool and Chelsea to visit the 60,000 seater stadium because the ground seems to be the easiest of places to pick easy points. James Morrison's goal for Boro was impressive and should be enough to break all gunner's heart this weekend and Jonathan Woodgate's display in the defence has been off the chain. In fairness, Arsenal has battered and bludgeoned their opponents beyond recognition but the side cannot just score to put a smile on Priscilla and Kitaun's face. |
There's nuthing wrong being a substitute. Whoever said its wrong should be castrated and crucified in the most barbaric way known to man. As a matter of fact, there are 2 classes of substitutes which are the normal sub and the super sub. A super-substitute is a substitute made by the coach/manager that subsequently saves the game by scoring the winning goal. Roger Milla scored 4 important goals at Italia 90 as a substitute and he was the cutting edge Cameroon had over other teams. Anutha super-sub i can think of these days is Ole Gunner Solskjaer of Man Utd. Solskjaer always score as a substitute which kind of inspired Alex Ferguson to always use him as a substitute in most matches. Technically, any player can be subed as this depends on the squad size of the team a player plays. For instance, Chelsea is a team that has 22 world class players including 5 national team captains in Ballack, Shevchenko, Geremi, Drogba and Terry. How does one expect a particular player to play all the 38 games in this club? Its almost impossible because Chelsea's team quality is top draw. The same Mikel Obi that warms the bench at Chelsea will feature regularly at Man Utd, Liverpool and Arsenal if he had signed for any of 'em. The number of matches a player gets in a team depends greatly on the squad size and not really on the player's quality. Afterall, Robinho sits on the bench regularly at Real Madrid in spite of his quality. Wld he sit on the bench at Arsenal or Liverpool? |
Heinze is very fit. I have seen him train a couple of times last week but i dont understand why Fergie is delaying his return back to the 1st team. Smith is also rearing to go and add grit and steel into the midfield. We all know smudgy gives 110% on the pitch and this is what United need against Edgar Davids and Didier Zokora. I expect United to win 2-0 tomorrow anyways. |
@ nuggard, Tomorrow's match is very important in which Utd must take the maximum 3 points. United must neutralise Spur's midfield and bang in the goals as quick as possible. I've been a Ruud fan through and through and when he left I was gutted but I have to say his comments have left a bad taste in ma mouth. Ruud was afforded the privilige of an automatic starting place in the more glamorous League and FA Cup. Louis Saha was initially given a run out in the Carling Cup as he attempted to make his comeback from injury. He grabbed his opportunity with both hands and scored in almost every round if my memory serves me, for which his much criticised manager rewarded him accordingly . Why did Ruud not throw the head up when he didn't get on in the 4th or 5th round? His ego led him to believe that a striker (and dare I say a mate!) who had played in every round and scored should be dumped at Ruud's expense so that Ruud could hog the glory of playing in a cup final!! That's out of order and shows a complete and utter lack of respect for his team mate. I've got to say I'm very disappointed in his attitude and comments. Thanks for the goals Ruud but as for the attitiude, no thanks!! Ruud should know no player is bigger than Man Utd. Man U is not a team like Arsenal where a player holds the whole team to ransome. There's only one way in Man Utd and it's Fergie's way. Ruud needs to borrow a leaf from Ole Solskjaer who never complains despite being used mostly as a substitute throughout his career in Man U. Real Madrid will be tougher for him if he kontinues with his silly attitude because Madrid fans are less patient plus i'm sure he would still label Capello a back-stabber if he stops getting regular appearances. |
@ Priscilla, Have fun? I aint gonna have no fun till you tell me where this sinister place is. U cannot tape me shut about a gory place like this with the fact that only vetted members are allowed the information. Pyhtons swallowing human beings is ill and grotesque. Aint u human? |
