TenQ: You are misunderstanding me. I accept the will and command of God 100%. If God directly told me to jump down from a 100 storey building, I will do it.
However, has God Commanded me so? No!
You Matinox can do what you have asked because you are convinced it is God's will and you have the necessary faith to pull it through.
However, you cannot make such rules for others because they are not you.
As believers, we hear God differently! As believers, we have different levels of faith! As believers, we hear God differently!
Are we all 100% sure of God's voice when He speaks to us? If the person you ask to exercise faith is not 100% sure the voice is hearing is that of God: have you not set him up for regret?
Let everyone relate to God at the level of their Faith. Rom 12:6: "Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;"
Thou shalt not tempt the Lord your God. It could also be weed speaking in your brain. Or you could be schizophrenic. |

Are you aware that cancer and plaques ravaged the world, yet your god sat back watching people(including christians) die in millions, while waiting for man's intelligence(he supposedly created) struggle to come to terms with those diseases. Why couldn't he make science very powerful to combat those scourges ravaging mankind for millennia ? |

Veecruz: Our creator. Not God"s Creator or Origin which clearly means that you have agreed that God is our Creator, where the argument ends.
And does this not show that you are assuming an alleging based on no proven fact that God must be created?
From what you display here, you absolutely have no idea what fallacies are and how easy it is to enter into one when you don't know them . Dliespeaker, have you been banned again, or you still created a new moniker. Anyway, I never agreed to being created. I'm making an assumption that there is a creator. Now, you claimed that everything has a creator; that NOTHING exists that has the capacity to create itself. This was your claim: yes or no?
Answer accordingly, and then we may proceed. No need, Thorrn. You'll be hosed with another Special Appeal fallacy, then when you argue, yet another Non Sequitor, and so on. The circular reasoning goes on and on |

cornelboy: Lol where did he say "I'm the Father"?
If a king sends his representative to a place and the rep. said to the people there that "seeing him is same as seeing the king", is that reasonable? Does that mean they are the same person?
Jesus clearly said he was sent by the father and his apostles and early church understood that. Another lie Jesus made a statement claiming to be God when He said, “Very truly I tell you, . . . before Abraham was born, I am!” (John 8:58).For example, in John 10:30, Jesus said, “I and the Father are one. The Jews, upon hearing Him, clearly understood that He was claiming preexistence and, more than that, to be Yahweh, the great “I AM” of Exodus 3:14. On this occasion, too, they tried to stone Him for blasphemy. The disciples of Jesus distinctly heard Him declare His deity. After Jesus’ resurrection, Thomas the doubting disciple finally understood Jesus’ deity, declaring Him to be “my Lord and my God” (John 20:28). If Jesus were not Lord and God, He would have corrected Thomas, but He did not; Thomas spoke the truth. This can only mean that Jesus is God. Even God the Father referred to Jesus as God: “About the Son he says, ‘Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever’” (Hebrews 1:8, quoting Psalm 45:6). Try and be reading this your Holy Babble. And take Aemmyjah along with you on the reading sessions. I'm tired of myself an atheist schooling you guys on your own book |

Matinox: Greetings guys.
If you are not a believer, kindly stay out of this thread and take your logical sentiments elsewhere.
However if you want to be blessed by serving Jesus, and experience the victories of His faith, read on!
I've seen a number of threads regarding the issue of genotype in relationships and the overwhelming response & criticism that follows. It's sickening to read through and realize that believers also share the same medical sentiments and quickly clamp down on anyone asking such questions.
I have a question... Can God heal HIV? If your answer is yes; Then, can God change a genotype?
I don't know if anyone here has been discouraged by reading some of these comments, and your Godly relationships is threatened. I have just one question for you and you'd be good...
Did God originate your relationship? Are you in the will of God?
If your answer is yes and you are sure, please and please, stay with God and don't listen to anything else that speaks against what God has said to you.
We have read of ladies who got married without a womb and had children... We have read of couples who got married as AS, remained AS after the marriage and had Children who were born with AA as genotype.
God is still in the business of the supernatural!
If you have stories of victories in this regard, kindly share, let's strengthen the soul of each other and hold the fort.
Blessings and Peace! Despite the fact that 90% of Nigerians know about sickle cell disease, the preponderance is still high. Its unbalanced people like you that encourage AS genotype cretards to marry each other and supply the steady stream of sickle cell patients overwhelming the health system. In sane countries, they arrest your type and lock them up. We don't need more crazies as a country If you have seen a HBSS patient with vaso occlusive crisis, you won't spout this rubbish. Even though medical science has improved care with hydroxyurea, bone marrow transplant, stem cell therapy, they aren't easily accessible(especially the last 2 options) and of course, they are costly. So take your bullshyt and stuff it where the sun don't shine |

Hohenheim: In Genesis chapter 2 God tells Adam not to eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil or he'll die
But in Genesis chapter 3 verse 4 the serpent tells Eve something different
In verse 22 the Bible tells us that God infact did lie to Adam and Eve.
So not only did our loving God have the chance to forgive his creation after being told the truth by another of his creation he decides to punish them and their so called generations for it.
He also denied Adam access to the tree of life thereby causing pain and suffering for billions of his so called creation.
But don't worry though, he sent himself in the form of his son to come and die for a problem he technically was at fault for.
Christians your god is a liar. Lucky us though, He's as real as spiderman. Also who gave Satan his omnipotent, omniscient etc powers? Yahweh! Who created Eden and the tree of knowledge and planted it right in the middle of the garden(not even at the outskirts where it would be out of sight of Adam and Eve) and made it have luscious fruits? Yahweh! Who is omniscient and knows Adam and Eve would eat the forbidden fruit but still went ahead to plant the fruit right in the garden? Yahweh! Do you now understand why this all loving god wanted Adam fvcked from the get-go? |

Secondly, fallacy of presumption! No Road! 1. It is part of the topic. Why? You stated that nothing can exist on its own, that there has to be a creator. But you insist Yahweh created them all. So a sequitor thus is, who created Yahweh, then. 2. Fallacies of presumption means that the argument a person makes is based on an assumption, rather than a proven fact. From my first point, the question is based on your position, which is that everything must have a creator, thus my query which is who then created the creator. From what you display here, you absolutely have no idea what fallacies are. You just dip your hand into a bag of fallacies and pull out the most fanciful at that moment and flash it in our faces. Image123: Now, you are talking about a different thing and overgeneralising. Here is a discussion forum, where you normally have a choice of WHAT and WHO to talk about and to. i am not against anyone talking about their religion, and i don't normally waste my time going to talk them out of it or stop them from quoting their books. Christians do evangelism because they were commanded to , and they often feel/think that they owe others the duty of care/warning. If some harass you, that is a problem with their method, they do not need to harass you(except harass has a diferent meaning). If they preach to you directly, they normally should not force you to listen. You may choose to or not in a personal evangelism. But it makes no sense telling them or others not to quote the Bible/other religious book in a religious discussion with you. If every religious adherent obeys what is written in their holy books, don't you think there would be chaos? |

I don't need to see them physically. Technology has made it easier. Below are their pictures. Look at the gross appearances. Then you'll see more differences histologically and genetically. It is obvious they came from different human species. And they didn't come from other apes cos the DNA(from the H. Habilis and H. Erectus) match the modern humans H. Sapiens. During our second year in med school, we had to study human skulls, so I can spot one a mile off with its attributes and characteristics . If life is a result of mindless process, it leaves us without reliable guidance, hopeless, useless, purposeless and without meaning
If life came by purposeful design, then we are here for a reason, that one can teach us how to live our lives and be truly happy. That we were created already gives our lives a sense of meaning
