Hightablevoice2:
First, it's not about being a terrorist sympathizer, it's about the bombing. A nation like Nigeria, the most populated and probably organized black nation in the world should not bend to colonial autonomy nor their geopolitical agendas. The failure of this administration in arming itself against domestic threat gave a foreign entity the audacity to launch an attack on it's soil. Bombs are not bullets.

And secondly, while this is being categorized as whatever these people are claiming it to be, it is an attack on the sovereignty of any thinking and reasonable government because we are not at war with them. The overall power to launch a tactical and I mean tactical airstrike should fall on the Nigerian Air force, not an alien nor outsider. They can supply us with equipments but it should be left with us to call the shots.. all things being equal, a directives should have been given in the first place and since that didn't happen, it is also safe to say, the Nigeria government first should seize all US Emissary Passports in the country, instruct the national defence committee and the Nigerian Air force to mount heavy guard on all available airfield in the country. Position a round the clock guard for all US Emissaries. Blockade all US passport holder from leaving the country, suspend active working hour in US, Uk, France and Saudi Arabia embassy, redirect trade route towards Berlin, Singapore, and 2 other benovelent countries, establish further and deeper co-operation with the ECOWAS state, sign a new security deal with china and Russia, and renogiatiate whatever deals with the US Government, america does not help any country in the world besides Israel or where their interests are. They can never be a friend that respects. Control, control, control that's all america is

And as for, our domestic security council.. this is more than a wake up call. I do hope they will keep their mandatory obligation in defending the nation in this time and not get swooped into political or religious narratives..
And lastly, why a lot of people do not welcome this US participation is solely because it violates the sovereignty of our own national defense.
I could not be bothered reading most of your rambling dissertation, but what you need to keep in mind is a firm assurance that MORE precision missile and drone strikes are scheduled for Nigeria in the very near future, and that there isn't a damn thing you can do to stop it.

If you cannot bear the thought of brain-damaged inbred Islamist terror gun-toting slave-raiders being generously assisted by the US military in their quest to collect a 72-virgin allocation in their imaginary paradise, I would like to suggest that you stage a one-man protest in front of the White House, where you can stomp about screeching like a lunatic while holding a placard bearing your declaration that reads as follows: " I am mad as hell, and will not take it any more".

If you happen to be an immigrant in America who has the audacity to criticize US governmental foreign policy, you'll probably get tackled by ICE agents during your protest, and summarily deported to a lovely residence-of-no-return located in beautiful El Salvador

I dont know if you have better info, but as far as I have heard, not a single terrorist was killed in the Xmas day strikes and indeed it appears that so much said for "precision strikes" most of those strikes appear to have landed in farmland.

We will keep watching how it goes. Perhaps better information will still be provided on this first strike though.

PS: Lake Chad has been shrinking for a while.
Uncle Sam may have opted to keep the crispy critter pictures from public view, and since the areas hit by missiles were all deep within "enemy territory" there are unlikely to be photo-journalists of any nationality that will be willing this early in the campaign, to risk a journey through the badlands to visit the places where terrorist camps and their occupants were so recently reduced to charcoal briquettes.

Escapee terrorist stragglers, whose colleagues are now enjoying their allocations in paradise, still pose a deadly threat to road traffic and even to low-flying aircraft, therefore it will still be a while before civilian eyes will ever see Uncle Sam's coveted BDA (Bomb Damage Assessment) photographs.

Let us be patient, Ogawa Deep Sight. There is more pyrotechnics to come much sooner than most could possibly imagine. At some point, when the tide begins to turn, drone shots of the dead meat that we yearn to see, WILL be published for all the honest world to enjoy.

In pursuit of my master's degree in current affairs at the prestigious University of YouTube, my diligent research uncovered another video clip today that explains Nigeria's predicament with visuals so clarifying even a seasoned weed consumer like me can comprehend without losing the gist of the story.

It is heartwarming to note that a random guy conducting his own unofficial research online can arrive at such an accurate picture of where next US drones and missiles can be targeted for maximum effect. One can imagine, with the intelligence updates currently in progress by US imagery analysts, that the next few missile launches and surgical drone strikes will record MASS casualties and send hundreds of invaders to join their ancestors deep in the fiery bowels of Hades where they belong

One of the beauties of Uncle Sam's ongoing terrorist extermination initiative in Nigeria is the remote, uninhabited desolation that is common to MOST of the places in Nigeria's far north where the invading terrorist gangs choose to set up camps as they infiltrate Nigeria from Mali, Niger and Chad. Speaking of Chad, the islands of Lake Chad are a target-rich environment where terrorist camps can be reduced to ash without undue concerns about fishermen and their families getting smoked in error.

The Lake Chad area harbors several concentrations of bloodthirsty virgin-hunting terrorists that are all eager to enter paradise where they hope to enjoy sex with 72 virgins, and this is where Uncle Sam can step in to play the role of a romantic match-maker who will unite the terrorists with the virgins of their dreams in an imaginary paradise, one missile at a time.

Lake Chad is also home to a few scattered fishing hamlets, but the eye in the sky will easily distinguish between fishing boats, and any water craft full of gunmen that qualify for instant explosive liquidation from the air.

Smart decision by Trump, to avoid any unnecessary collateral damage.
It is safe to assume that US surveillance assets are in the process of compiling new target lists for the next barrage of missile and drone strikes in northern and Middle Belt Nigeria, as the terror gangs begin to panic and run helter-skelter looking for a safe place to hide, in their deluded expectation that they won't be spotted by the eye in the sky.

This is a strange way to think about it. How can one celebrate the deaths of fellow Nigerians?

It is one thing to be a terrorist but it is another to be celebrating the deaths of people. What is the moral ground here?
Any person who participates in slave-raiding kidnap attacks and murder has forfeited their right to be regarded as a human being, and will be assigned the status of a vermin that is better dead than alive, by all who stand for peace and justice.

As such, news detailing how terrorists were sent to join their ancestors by drone munitions gives me tremendous satisfaction and joy. If such murderous sub-humans can be dispatched to the great beyond by robots, whereby no military or police officers are called upon to risk their lives fighting evil people, then the sense of satisfaction grows into a feeling of joyous excitement and utter delight.

In fairness to South Africa, their Special Forces soldiers working freelance were hired by former Nigerian President Jonathan Goodluck specifically to fight counter terrorism missions in Nigeria. Equipped with their own air wing of combat helicopter gunships, those South African warriors operating as contract staff attached to Sandline International and Executive Outcomes, gave very good account of themselves during a number of professionally-executed counter-insurgency missions in Nigeria, despite being so few numerically.

Sadly the Islamist northern Nigerian sponsors of that terrorism were able to use their political influence to force out the South African mercenaries, because those terrorist sympathizers were exploiting the bloodshed and disorder caused by terrorists to try and unseat Jonathan Goodluck. So, to answer your question about what South Africa has contributed to Nigeria's security, the answer is "a lot".

I hereby call on the current Mzansi Princess of Nairaland, Ms. Samantha, to please call her countrymen to order and tell them to STOP minding our business here in Nigeria, the pleasure capital of the world.

If is is our desire to Make Nigeria Great Again, and it is Big Don Trump that offers a helping hand in this regard, then our decision to accept that helping hand is FINAL and not subject to appeal or to second guessing from our brethren over in South Africa, where, by the way, I was recently bestowed by South African village elders with the traditional title of Sangoma Inyanga, with all rights and privileges implied.

If you can complete this important diplomatic mission, Ms. Samantha, I will instruct my pilots to fuel up for a quick hop over to Cape Town this very New Year's eve, so we will relax over a lobster lunch washed down with white wine of a suitable vintage, primarily to celebrate your mastery as a seasoned policy-advocating intermediary, but also to create an enabling environment for any other new year's activity that we can partake of, yet still respect each other in the morning.

God Bless Nigeria !

God Bless South Africa, but only IF they can refrain from disparaging Big Don Trumpenstien's name to our hearing for the rest of all time.

Barrister Deep Sight's earlier responses posted to various other topics in this discussion forum regularly express a disdain bordering on despair, over the spreading spate of Islamist massacres and deadly slave-raids unfolding on Nigerian soil, so it would be hasty to categorize his skepticism about America's capacity to restore Nigeria to peace, as tacit support for those terrorists that led to this 11th hour neighborly intervention for the salvation of Nigeria by Uncle Sam.

An informed student of history, Oga Deep Sight recalls the hasty truncation of US involvement in Afghanistan, and in Africa, he reminds us of the chaotic power vacuum that persists unresolved after the 2011 US-assisted ouster of Libyan dictator Moamar Ghadaffy 14 years ago, as two recent case studies in how countries sometimes deteriorate rather than heal in the aftermath of US military intervention.

The single most salient difference between past conflicts and present warfare is the exponential increase in the use of autonomous weapons of war that are remotely operated and technically challenging to evade. From the drone swarms that can erupt out of the fuselage of a long-range mothership to chase down individual enemy combatants and blast them asunder without pilot inputs needed, to the greatly enhanced redundancy of existing, cutting-edge missile guidance technology, the odds of prevailing quickly in any armed conflict are stacked heavily in favor of the most technologically advanced and rapidly adaptive adversary.

Lastly and most importantly, the US military action in Nigeria is a mutually beneficial cooperative endeavor for which the leadership and defense departments of Nigeria and America march in lock-step side-by-side to confront the hideous monster that Islamist terror has become in all nations comprising the West African Atlantic seaboard. This is a necessary war that FORCED Nigeria to seek help from the most capable democratic nation on this planet - The United States of America, and her 45th President, Donald J. Trump

By the way, have you seen the report on the strikes? Doesn't seem the strikes did anything meaningful.

Of course not. I just don't believe the Americans will do anything tangible or positive. They haven't done so anywhere they have gone on similar pretenses.
Munitions targeting technology has advanced in quantum leaps since America's two-decade war in Afghanistan wound down, and all skeptics will soon become believers once additional "magical powers" that can trace specific individuals by their phone or radio transmissions correlated with aerial imagery, are brought to bear in northern Nigeria's long overdue pest eradication project that is now fully under way.

The one omission in this video is the notable absence of any reference to the simultaneous multiple missile strikes that were assigned to the formidable and deadly MQ9 Reaper drone, which reportedly unleashed volleys of individually targeted missiles addressed to numerous ground targets separated from each other by considerable distance. The Reaper regularly obliterates multiple "birds" with multiple "stones" all heading off in different directions after launch from the mother ship.

Max Afterburner is the handle used by this YouTube video presenter who recently retired from service as an F16 fighter jet pilot.

In this educational video, our man Mad Max explains with his trademark wartime humor, the selection of armaments delivered as a generous Christmas gift to Islamist invaders gathered near the Niger border on their way to perpetrate pillage, plunder and genocide in the Sokoto axis of northwestern Nigeria.

Max Afterburner will no doubt offer many more of these insights now that the gloves are off and the destructive power of US military hardware will be showcased for the whole world to witness in Nigeria, where amassed Islamist terrorists soon will be privileged to experience theatrically spectacular deaths brought right to their door by some of the most advanced robotic airborne armament delivery systems known to man.

As an enthusiastic advocate of the "Burn down the zoo" religion, Kanu will be spending the rest of his wasted existence behind bars, where, in his new capacity as a "forward observer" located in a unique vantage point, he can inform US drone operators how to adjust their aim point so as to maximize the decimation of the terrorists that can be seen running about under fire just outside the jail bars

Zaynab had a clean break but marrying other men and still parading herself as queen in multiple men’s homes. It’s very strange and embarassing to that crown. Not sure such has ever happened before this Ooni. The palace should have realeased a notice to strip all such titles. So that anything she does with her life will not be attached to the crown.

Politics › Re: US ‘boots On Ground’ In Nigeria Will Depend On Defence Ministry’s Advice, Tuggar by Jakumo(m):
Nigeria need not host American foot-soldiers in this modern age of drone warfare. A surveillance drone circling at altitudes above 3,000 feet simply cannot be heard at all on the ground. Such a bird of prey will be, to all intents and purposes, invisible to ground observers.

Equipped with a high-magnification camera capable of reading the brand name on a packet of cigarettes lying at the feet of a terrorist attending a meeting out in the savannah wilderness of northern Nigeria, that drone can, on command, launch small, precisely-aimed missiles that will instantaneously process the entire gathering of criminals into so many charred human meat McNuggets.

With this refined procedure for eliminating bad DNA from the human gene pool anywhere on Planet Earth now perfected and at the disposal of the US military, there is no longer any need for American service men or women to be placed in harm's way amid the Islamist fanatics of northern Nigeria. The "Hand of God" is now orbiting aloft in Nigerian skies like a vengeful bird of prey poised ready to liquefy any purveyor of evil that finds itself in the crosshairs.

This highly evolved and clinically precise new destructive power at the fingertips of US drone pilots means that the bygone era when the sheriff's posse of horsemen would gallop amid a thunder of hooves across the burning desert sands to confront the outlaws, can finally be consigned to the movie screen and the dusty pages of forgotten history books.

Today, thanks to that dizzying pace of drone-related technological innovation being field-tested on Ukraine's war against the Russian Goliath, and in US defense industry weapons development laboratories, the process of identifying, tracking and destroying terrorist gunmen can be fully automated right up until the moment when the launch button is ready to be pressed by a coffee-sipping drone operator relaxing in a comfortable chair many hundreds of miles distant from the theater of action.

God bless Nigeria and President Bola Tinubu
God bless America and President Donald Trump
