Sheikh Gumi is making some valid points here.
Yes indeed. Sick Goofy is proving that he is far less intelligent than he had been given credit for in the past.

Rather than shut up, hide his goat head, and hope he is not correctly identified as a terrorist sponsor who thus qualifies for a spot in the US drone target list, Old Goofy is running his mouth and spouting verbal diarrhea that will bring him to the attention of drone operators who are tasked with liquidating both terrorists AND their sponsors or apologists in Nigeria.

Are you shua about Chinko involvement? They are not known for such oh.
Former Edo State governor Oshiomole recently alerted the world to the use of helicopters in Nasarawa state by Chinese rogue miners, who also use those same helicopters to fly in guns for Islamist terror gangs to employ in forcibly de-populating villages on whose land the Chinese have detected precious metals that they wish to mine illegally.

This is an ongoing multi-million dollar crime that is no doubt well known to the USA's intelligence agencies, so it will not be surprising at all if a few missiles "go astray" and wipe out everyone spotted at such illegal mining sites in the near future. As the saying goes, all is fair in war.

There’s a big shame in allowing a foreign power to do your job for you in your own country. What is so spectacular about the American strike that Nigeria cannot do? Tinubu refused to do it because he did not want to anger the caliphates.
The true definition of a leader is one who act decisively and protects his people against enemies, foreign or domestic.
The Islamists are being financed by Arabs with lots of spending cash to squander on military adventures. This terrorist invasion is no longer just a rag-tag band of illiterate herdsmen with rifles. Boko Haram has access to serious military hardware, including tanks, artillery pieces and transport helicopters, thanks to copious funding sent by their wealthy Arab and Chinese paymasters whose eyes are focused on toppling the elected Nigerian government by force of arms, so as to seize control over the nation's oil wealth, and mineral resources respectively.

This Islamist government takeover nightmare scenario is unfolding in nearby Mali as these words are typed, so nothing must be left to chance, and the biggest boy on the block MUST be invited to duke it out with the bully who daily kills and kidnaps Nigerian civilians.

My point is still that its not any recognition in the nick of time as you say. You seem to keep trying to somehow praise him for this when the whole world knows that it was forced on him completely without his say. And with insults and potent threats to boot. There is nothing to praise him for in this. Rather there is a lot to castigate, but you keep trying to spin it to somehow even make him the architect of this and I just cant understand why you bother when the whole world including you knows the truth.
Those of us who have never been participants in the high-stakes game of politics can never fully grasp how complex a task it can become, to deftly balance a multitude of conflicting interests, while appearing decisive and independent-minded to the electorate and to international partners.

Regardless of whether Nigeria's presidency invited this US military participation, or was obliged to extend that invitation by any number of factors, the majority of Nigerians who advocate the concept of peaceful secular democracy will be jubilant at the news of missiles finally raining down on the bad actors who seek to impose a murderous theocracy on Nigeria.

Tinubu is the man who is in the process of subduing a lion with a wooden club, so this is not the time to critique the form and style of each blow inflicted on the roaring beast. We should just be glad that one way or the other, the problem of Islamist terror in Nigeria is being addressed with overwhelming force at long last.

Again, for the great love of you and your writing which I hold, I beg you, on my knees if necessary not to embellish things perhaps from excitement. BAT never sought any military help from the USA on this matter. Trump forced it regardless of whatever BAT wanted or thought.
President Tinubu is walking a tight-rope, for he must not appear too eager for America's military help to arrive in Nigeria, lest he alienate power brokers that he must still go through the motions of appeasing in the name of religious and partisan political solidarity.

On the other hand, Tinubu recognized in the nick of time that drastic and overwhelming military intervention, most competently delivered by Uncle Sam, was essential to confront the Islamist terror invaders before they metastasize into a murderous military juggernaut capable of seizing control of the entire nation after an all-out assault on the seat of power, as is currently unfolding in nearby Mali for all the world to see.

“So what do you want Tinubu to do”?

Do you honestly think that Tinubu couldn’t do what America did last night? The number one job of a president is to protect its citizens. Tinubu allowed Trump allowed to do the job he could have done himself. Tinubu has made himself and Nigeria look weak in the eyes of the world. Tinubu is the only Nigerian president that was in office when America bombed Nigeria. Sad!
The Nigerian military is among the best equipped and most capable such force in West Africa, but the United States military is VASTLY superior to any other comparable force on this planet for multiple reasons ranging from surveillance technology to the robustness and diversity of its high-tech warfare equipment inventory.

There is no shame at all in calling in the big guns, since the Islamist threat the nation faces was getting completely out of hand, to the point of overwhelming the Nigerian military by slow increment. The only complaint any rational and informed observer of events in Nigeria could possibly express with respect to America's opening missile salvo launched on Christmas night 2025, is that the help did not arrive years sooner. Anyway, as the old saying goes, better late than never.

You are right. It is absurd to hear apologists for Islamist terror slave-raiders pleading for the air strikes to stop when they are only just getting started.

This Islamist threat is funded by Middle Eastern oil sheikhdoms whose ultimate ambition is to turn Nigeria into an Islamic backwater similar to Afghanistan, whereby those shadowy terror financiers hope to grab control over Nigeria's crude oil fields. That long-term Islamist annexation agenda must NEVER be allowed to take root in Nigeria, lest the country wind up like Sudan, where Islamist hordes, funded by rogue elements within the UAE government, proudly commit genocide daily, and on camera.

Go USA. Long live President Trump.

Long live President Bola Tinubu who was wise to stay clear of the Russians and Chinese when seeking military help.

My favorite novelist is the late Tom Clancy, whose best-sellers delved into the world of intrigue, geo-politics and military confrontations. Without resorting to outright plagiarism, I draw inspiration both from Tom Clancy's gift as a raconteur, as well as from his specialized diction unique to war, choreographed violence, and skullduggery.

I was rather referring to whether or not they would achieve a cessation of the activities of these groups.

As to your reference to the capacity of these drones to be precise, the sad truth is that they have yet struck very innocent targets even in the most recent conflicts.

On a lighter note, I just love that word "loiters" as used here.
Haha no be small ting, my brother. A hoodlum loiters around the street corner looking for unsuspecting targets of opportunity, while a ground-attack drone loiters in an elliptical holding pattern while scanning the ground hundreds of feet below using 50-power-magnification cameras to ironically identify targets of opportunity who will never hear the distant engines of the bear in the air above them, before all fades to black for them.

From a practical standpoint it is, as you note, practically impossible to conduct air-strikes or missile deliveries without non-target individuals or vehicles on random occasion straying within range of the explosive fragmentation envelope during those moments when inbound flying ordnance strikes home and detonates.

However, on reflecting over the sheer magnitude and sadistic brutality of the Islamic terror slave-raiding and land-grabbing invasion that has recently been gathering momentum across a rapidly expanding area of Nigeria's landmass, the 11th-hour military pact between the Nigerian and US governments is an extraordinary response brought about by a grave and growing security threat that is clearly funded by the deep pockets of homicidal zealots harboring a frightening agenda for Nigeria that must be de-militarized and vanquished as a matter of overarching urgency.

Furthermore, the aggregated summation of all alleged or confirmed civilian collateral damage that will be recorded during of this vital ground-pounding exercise that Uncle Sam is supervising for Nigeria's lasting benefit, will only amount to a modest fraction of the death toll that Islamist terrorists have ALREADY inflicted all over Nigeria, talk less the horrors that would have been in store for Nigeria if the new sheriff in town, our man Big Don Trumpenstein, did not see fit to step in "guns ablaze", precisely as promised earlier.

On a personal level, I would welcome close-up aerial bombardment if I ever found myself under guard as a captive in a remote kidnappers hideout, because that fireworks display will either end my suffering quickly, or, much more preferably, offer a fleeting chance for the captives to make a break for freedom by sprinting off towards all compass points amid the bedlam and confusion of the aerial onslaught.

I believe the reason the US wanted to bomb terrorist badly in the north is just to show that they can attack anywhere in west africa after trump made lot of noise, it is just a show of strength to China and Russia, reason why they blackmailed nigeria with Christian Genocide.

this airstrike will literally just push the terrorists else where and complicate the safety of people who were once living in peace.

just a single airstrike do not solve anything, these terrorist are human and they are mobile..we have further more endangered our citizens so that trump can look good in the internation space.

Forest canopies cannot hide terrorists because drones have thermal cameras that pick up body heat. Also forest trees and leaves cannot stop a cruise missile or drone-launched missile from destroying its target completely, leaving twisted metal and chunks of human meat scattered about.

Those Tomahawk missiles cost roughly $1.4M USD each, and several were launched from warships cruising the high seas off the coast of Lagos.

With such a massive expenditure already recorded on the first of numerous missile and drone attacks to come, it is only fitting that our man of the hour Big Donald Trumpenstein, should be the one who announces the opening salvos of this long overdue salvation of Nigeria.

That said, Nigerian military and intelligence services were consulted to green-light ALL targets that have been reduced to smoldering wreckage already in the opening hours of this necessary intervention, just as all future target lists will be approved by the Nigerian military.

President Bola Tinubu is a man of few words and decisive action, which we are now witnessing with MORE TO COME, as targets all over Nigeria,. wherever terrorists are camped, are comprehensively vaporized one after the other.

God sparing our lives, lets have a first performance review on the American intervention in two years time.
The cameras sported by US surveillance drones feature such enormous powers of magnification and image resolution that drone operators can read the license plate of a car traveling along a highway, while the drone loiters hundreds of feet above where its engine cannot be heard by anyone on the ground, ready to launch death from above on command, as the drone operator sips coffee in an airconditioned command trailer hundreds of miles away from the scene of utter carnage on the ground.

This is why the risk of collateral damage among Nigeria's civilian population is minimal. Long before Donald Trump issued his first warning to the terrorists invading Nigerian territory, overhead satellites and drones had pinpointed all the terrorist camps and gatherings that qualified for the first installment of ballistic annihilation that will be followed up by numerous others very soon.
