About 50 years after Ibadan's Cocoa House, oil-rich AKS (South-South in general) is celebrating their first high-building. Nigeria really dragged SW back.
Make I comment my reserve. My argument is, after Cocoa house, have you added any taller structure 50years in Ibadan, 50years running? Uyo was a thick bush 50yrs ago, that they shud have a structure on par with you after this many years shows the level of retrogression in Ibadan. You want to blame Nigeria for your retrogression. Except Yorubaland which other ethnicity enjoyed your Cocoa proceeds, but in one fell swoop you're happy to fleece Niger Delta oil, yet remain ungrateful to Nigeria. |

Biafrarep: P.H patronage is just about the same as others from Akwa Ibom, Calabar, Umuahia, Bayelsa etc. There is nothing special about their purchasing power. You can go to the various markets/parks in Aba and check the destination of goods. Even to repair cars and specialized engines that are used in production, they will come to Aba.
My point is that P.H is over rated. In actual sense, we do not need them more than they need us. So what's all the noise about?
Remove Lagos from the SW and the region will suffer but remove P.H and Aba will hardly feel it talk more of the SE region. Aba is not a manufacturing city.. It is jus a commercial town ie Igbos import goods into Aba and sell in the markets there. There is nothing exceptional sold in Aba. If Aba as a market is absent, money will always find it's way to another market to purchase goods and products. Rivers State indigenes are particularly business oriented else there is nothing spectacular about Aba. Most goods there are imported from China. There is nothing stopping Riverians from setting up big markets and importing goods from China. |

I don't know whether you think it's being given out as gifts. Haven't said that, I have some questions for you and your brethren in regards of Easterner's aspiration in APC and other parties Firstly, please do you still remember the exegesis of APC was the merger of two major political parties representing two major regions. If one region completed her slot, what is expected of the second region? Give the slot out? Secondly, Is APC not an occultic/evil Muslim party again that you people want to vy from? Thirdly, who are you expecting to vote the Igbos? The Yorubas and Hausas you call names? The Muslims you hate without hiding it? Lastly, What about the agitation for biafra? No voting declaration by Ipob? Is Nigeria no More a zoo republic? one confused, unstable, tossed, IPOB illusionist called Pazienza needs to see your comment.. |

Meanwhile, Ilorin is on the firm grasp of your Fulani masters. All the fake Yorubas there have since been converted to third class Muslims but that's none of your business, na to run helter-skelter to Igbo thread that you Yoruba outcast muslim sabi. I blame our people for not conquering Yoruba land like Fulani nomads did in Ilorin This your response is irrelevant. Why do Igbos create threads Everytime about Ikwerres. Ikwerres hardly create threads about Igbos. They are recognised as a separate ethnic group in the 1970 Constitution and have maintained their stand. They don't want to be a part of you since 1970 and as a result all Igbos do is create threads to cajole, intimidate, insult and coerce Ikwerres. Nigeria got their back.. We love their stand. |

Xerxes2088: Access bank is more of my problem because 1) access bank has my savings and millions of other Nigerian's not atiku, and so should be much more accountable and open on their financial standing. 2) closing 348 branches(not staffs oh) as against atiku's 48 staffs..I don't think I am out of order to focus on access bank and it's effect on the economy. 3) A very close relative is affected by one of their closed branches. As for the story for Atiku, I don't know. My message I am passing across is that, Access bank might just have been in distress before the covid-19 but just used it as an excuse......if you do know the story of Atiku's sack however pls share. Boeing has suffered this period and will layoff staff, British Airways is also laying off staff once normal activities resume. After the end of Covid-19 proper, alot of companies will layoff staff to stay afloat. This is the reality on ground. Access bank layoff was expected, with or without Covid-19 since the merger with Diamond bank resulted in duplicity of branches in same location. Access bank gained Diamond bank customers but since they're located same place, many branches will have to be closed. whichever branch they decided to retain will only put extra workload on the staff. But uncertain times await many business after this Covid-19 issue and Access bank has only taken the pragmatic decision to stay afloat and competitive now and after the virus. We would learn of more job cuts in different sectors in due time. You can bank on this. |

1-- Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi -- River State - He is not and will never be Igbo
2--- Geoffrey Jideofor Kwusike Onyeama -- Enugu
FOR PDP PARTY TOP IGBO CANDIDATE
1--- Ezenwo Nyesom Wike - River State - He is not and will never be Igbo
2-- Peter Obi --- Anambra State
3---- Ifeanyi Okowa - Delta State
4-- Dave Umahi -- Ebonyi State
Ikwerre can never represent us because they are not and will never be Igbo, we don't need attache by force from tribeless self-hating losers. Ikwerre should fight for their lazy underachieving selves.
Others are good to go, I follow Nairaland very well, Ikwerres hardly create threads to say they are Igbos, it is the other way round.... Ikwerres are very content in who they are.. Have a simple lifestyle and usually live amongst themselves in Rivers. Get your Biafra and carry all your houses in PH back to Biafraland. Leave Ikwerres alone, at least they are consistent and not double minded. |

iSlayer2: Aba is the market. PH is the people. If PH is cut off Aba will just continue providing services to other people. Then PH can put the money in thier mouths and eat it. There is more money in Rivers than Abia. If Aba as a market is no longer available, PH people will look elsewhere. As much as you have your money, getting the goods wouldn't be a problem. Don't argue this. |

Biafrarep: Odili is not Ikwere. Please we should always try to ignore this issue because the more we argue it, the more some efulefus will be feeling like they are special. If it was oil that made some people to deny their roots, then good luck to them as oil loses value and gas takes over which we have in abundance.
Lagos has a huge impact on the SW region, Abuja has a huge impact on the NC region but P.H has no impact at all on Aba that is just a few killometers away how much more to the SE region. Instead it is even Aba that has a huge impact on P.H. Just like other neigboring cities, P H even relies on Aba for the effective running of the city. I know what I'm saying, if Aba is closed on P.H., they would have serious problem but if P.H is closed on Aba, Aba will hardly feel it.
Let's continue building our cities and region. Let's invest only in areas that identify with us. Crude oil belongs to the past and industry, trade, commerce and services that belongs to the future, we have it firmly under our control.
Let us shun this guys completely because to be honest, we really don't need them. I was thinking PH(money) was more important than Aba(Market)... I felt without money, market becomes redundant. Neva knew market can exist without money. Please who taught you economics in school?? |

pazienza: We will have our Biafra in the end. But we would first have to work with Nigeria. The two are not mutually exclusive.
Tell your Ikwerre brothers that Ndiigbo have rejected Ikwerre and that the hate and suspicions are now mutual. If Ikwerre man wants Nigerian presidency, he must pursue it under SS political arrangements. Like Edwin clark rejected the idea of Peter Odili representing SS presidency,so would Ndiigbo reject any idea to project an Ikwerre man as Igbo president. Ikwerre wanted to play ethnic minority politics, they must make peace with their choice and not try take Ndiigbo for fools. An Ikwerre president can only emerge via SS quota By my reckoning, the next SS President will be from Efik/Ibibio/Annang/Oron/Ibeno cluster, they were supposed to have produced the first SS president but Ijaw used their militancy to usurp them. After that cluster comes the Urhobo/Isoko cluster, then the Anioma, the Esan/Benin , etc.
By my reckoning, there will be no Ikwerre president going by SS ethno-political power balance in our lifetime, if Nigeria continues to exist. So better tell Wike, Amaechi and their fellow Ikwerre bandwagoners to stop dreaming. Are you sure you aren't mixing things up?? Well, Keep to your Biafra agitation. Fake Jew. Don't be double minded, be focused on what you want. You want Biafra, fight for it. Die for it.. it shows passion and dedication.. stop being a pussy.. Fake, Aba-Made Jew. Elumelu though from SS is from Enuani, and we have many good Igbos from there, additionally, Elumelu himself have always been a proud Igbo man. If he proves a better candidate than the others from SE, we should consider him. You are of the Igbo divide that wants Biafra.. You said Nigeria is a Zoo, and want nothing to do with Nigeria.
