Nymph node:Exactly. I remember losing my cool against one of them in one of the few times I was there. |
Unknown to her, she is even popularizing Linda the more. She should rate among the Top 5 bloggers in Naija today. |

I was in Jolad Hospital a couple of times last year and 'discovered' the place! |
My problem here is how is 210k naira a high paying job? That like $1300 a month which is what someone working as a security guard in USA makes a month. Our country is DEAD if 210k is a high - paying job in an MNC. I am planning to relocate end of the year and I already make equivalent of a 1million Naira per month here in the states, so i was dreaming hoping to make at least 750,000 naira a month to at least justify my move.I don't know the MNC the OP is talking about but in an O&G MNC, permanent staff earn no less than 600k per month for entry level, some up to 1m net. So maybe he's talking about an MNC in an FMCG industry. Ordinarily, 210k net per month is actually 'high-paying' in Nigeria, but the MNC aspect spoils it. 210k per month is poor pay for an MNC. |
With Nairaland and Facebook, I don't think I need a radio programme. A thread on NL is equivalent to radio programme for me. The only time I listen to radio is inside the staff bus on my way home from work 5.30-7pm, before I sleep off. When I'm driving, however, I sometimes tune to Brila FM to listen to sports programmes, and in rare cases, Wazobia FM to laugh. But when none of these stations is doing anything interesting, I just put off my car radio. |
He is real. Whoever has mean should help assist. |
Going by the comments here these BELGIUM and WHITE HOUSE owners should be millionaires o. More than half have mentioned them, especially BELGIUM. semid4lyfe:Been here a couple of times. Nice place. |
AjanleKoko:Great one, egbon. That's exactly my strategy too. I am also doing Accounting job, though good paying, but I have never liked and still don't like accounting. I do a lot of other things by the side, most not bringing income but satisfaction. I know I enjoy writing, so I do writing as a hobby, analyse economic and political issues and send them for publication in newspapers. Though I don't make money from it, I have made name and contacts from it(I now relate one-on-one with top editors and a governor), a network that can be useful in the future. That's how I have turned my hobby into my source of satisfaction while my quite boring accounting job gives settles my bills. And disinterested as I am in this Accounting thing, I wrote ICAN and qualified. Yet, it's still not my desired career path, just did it to boost my CV and diversify my experience. Notwithstanding, you must do your current job with the required diligence. |
Prof, quick one: What is the correct pronunciation of the word SCHEDULE? Skedul or Shedul? I use both interchangeably depending on which the person I'm talking to uses. |
I have heard that when women are pregnant, they crave some crazy food adventure sometimes. This is another validation. My wife once told me how her friend craved for garden egg and mamaput tuwo when she was pregnant, and this was teh daughter of a Justice. Until they got her the food she didn't let the whole house be. violent:I agree with this. Ibadan is the Headquarters of Amala worldwide. My journey to Ibadan is hardly complete without stopping over at those amala joints. |
Mc Oluomo. MC kan, Oshodi kan. Tu tu tuaile baba! Go to Oshodi/Mushin, carry megaphone and ask your question! |
Tell the Christian owners too not to dip their hands into depositors' funds again. |
This is the gaffe a medical doctor-turned-tribal-warlord commits when he sees everything from tribal lens. Did Salami tell him he's a southerner? Salami is from ganmo, close to Ilorin, in Kwara state? Let Faseun tell us where Kwara state is located in the south? Salami and I finished from same alma mater and was indeed Senior Prefect of the school in 1969 set or so. We Kwarans are not doing bad in judciary, and perhaps, we've produced for Nigeria respected jurists more than any other state. Justices Alfa Belgore; M.B Belgore; Ayo Salami; Mustapha Akanbi; Kolapo Gambari etc etc |
The mod is not sleeping, much as we understand your grouse, we still need to run the section with circumspection lest it be seen as we are being partial. frosbel:And I am the mod of Religion section abi? |
I have cleaned this thread. Pls let the exchange of insult stop, else all involved risk ban. Regards. |
frosbel:we are in the weeping together o |
On top of umblerra |
Absolutely not compulsory. |
Isnt this clear sarcasm? Even if one doesnt know Frosbel, the flow is enough to discern it's a sarcastic post. |
I hope Niaja people will not pray for more bomb blasts, if only to have more public holidays of mourning! |
Ahmed Musa and Kanu Nwankwo don score |
Maga don pay. Omo to fowo e shaye!! |
imagine the disaster of throwing him in front of the world’s cameras unscripted today of all days. It will worsen the tragedy we have on our hands. This was the funniest part to me lol Pius is now Nigeria's king of satire |
I believe there are Jinns and their activities, for which witchcraft is part of them. Very long story and experience, which I wont want to go into. But I also believe we do exaggerate them, especially by people that are ignorant of the world of the Jinn. I also believe some witchcraft confessions are stagemanaged. |
sebastinta:Typical Naija way of reasoning. Barcelona is lucky to have him, not the other way round. Messi's is pure ability, not luck.n |
"orile ede Nigeria yi, olohun ma je o baje, ba wa tun orile ede wa se, awon olori wa ba wa to won sona'(God, this country don't let it spoil, help us repair it, guide our leaders) is a common line whenever our parents are doing prayers, generally. And learning from them, it has remained an integral line in our own prayer lines too, anytime I have time to reach that level(after all the personal requests ) before stopping the prayer. When last did I reach that level? Can't remember, but a month ago may be too long. |

Council for Legal Priviledges or so, is teh body that awards SAN and I am sure it will not have less than 10 members. If Salami is powerful enough to singularly influence SAN award, he should have been able to save himself in his current predicament. |
