This should answer your question:

Those terms, black, white, etc are racists agenda to perpetuate self dominance using the weakness of the human psyche. And they also strengthened this by adding religion to it with the general assumption that "God is white", "angels are white", "white is pure and black is evil", "Satan must be black", "Jesus and Moses are white (according to hollywood), etc. And subconsciously people believed these and started acting it out. Its centuries of mental programming.
I don't necessarily see anything racist about it. Black besides being used to describe evil is also used to describe mystery. Even the holy of holies that only the high priest was allowed to enter was dark/black. The term black and white are nothing but symbols, more so than a political tool. You should be more concerned about why most people are ignorant of this fact. Have you heard of the "Black Madonna"? It is a revered image of Catholicism. I'd say it again, black means to us how we see ourselves. Let's us build ourselves up and stop being ignorant.

So, I just wonder why they call us blacks and call themselves whites.

Even from the picture, OBASANJO is clearly BROWN and BUSH is clearly PALE.

WHY DID OUR STUPÎD FOREFATHERS NOW ACCEPT THAT STUPÎD SLAVE TAG OR IDENTITY as if it is normal.

Are people just pretending to be COLOURBLIND or just plainly stupîd?
is being called black bad?... It's however you make it. They're not actually white too. It only sounds nice because of the way they carry themselves

Catholicism over Pentecostalism anyday anytime twice on Saturday
Protestanism does have it faults, but I very much prefer it over Catholicism. For one it has not been as much stifled by a bureaucracy that seeks to enforce strict adherence to a set of questionable doctrines and beliefs.

Catholicism cares little about the believer's perosnal experience and is run strictly by the book.

I wouldn't consider a religion were prayers are still being read from a book and confessions made to a priest, one that promotes intimacy with God.

I must admit that there's an immense security in knowing that how ever little your faith or grave your sin, just a word from the priest and one could recieve pardon. But on closer observation, one would find that there exists various faults with such a method.

In a nustshell, one could say that although mysterious, the Catholic God is very much de-personalized. Let's not forget their boring priests, and members that are more or less like mindless drones who come to church to score good points and temporarily cure their nagging guilt.

Them and Muslims are highly fond of using the most mundane things to buttress their belief in God. Be it a cloud that just happens to resemble the form of an angel, or natural marking on a tree that look like some sacred Arabic text. I find that more than anything else a proof of unbelief. Trust me, you'd understand if you were to think on it a bit wink

So who is calling God a liar...

The Lord...visits the iniquity of the fathers on the children and the children’s children, to the third and the fourth generation. (Exodus 34:6-7 = Deuteronomy 5:8-10)

And i have already said it earlier that i don't have it in mind to judge Uwa's family...
A lot of the things happening around us are mysteries only God can explain....
So let's leave it that way...
May God continue to give her family the fortitude to bear her loss...
It's crazy ... infact I dey get headache... because I just deleted her post from my WhatsApp status...
Oga there's nothing mysterious about the reimbursement of sin. Whatever a man sows that shall he reap. Read Job 21:19,and Jer 31:27-29 and tell me if God wasn't alluding to something else.

Bros....God is good...how he works you don't understand...I have been quaking for the past 1hour now...as in I can't stop shaking.... seeing this pretty damsel killed...
Don't let out ur anger on God..
..Uwa is resting in the bossom of God

Let me tell you one thing about life...
Ain't judging Uwa or her family but then listen....
Imagine those rapists and killers...go Scot free and later have families of their own....
And one of them is killed mercilessly...people around that time will also say God Is wicked and doesn't exist....(wetin God no go see for human beings hand)
One need to be very prayerful..not be victims of evil circumstances...

Let me tell you a story Abt my uncle who lost his daughter through abortion in 2009...
Before she died she was pregnant nobody knew she didn't tell anyone...she was planning to abort nobody knew in the house..we were living together at that time
..When she died we were still looking for her ... eventually it came out that she lost a lot of blood during the abortion and she died and the nurse that did the shit deposited her dead body in mortuary...mehn...all family members came around we were all crying cursing the nigga that impregnated her and denied it and the nurse who carried out the evil operation after she persuaded her that she can do the job and her close friend shola that initially convinced her that she would survive it that she has been there too(bad friends are evil).....mehn every body dey cry for house...
Months after something came to my mind....
There was a time in the house before the above incidents that myself and one of my elder brother were trying to clean up a wardrobe formerly used by my uncle....we bumped into his old time diary (you know all this diary wey old men and women dey use during their youth days, they write everything that happens to them every single day in that diary)...we saw that he had already instructed Abt two girls in the past during his time in the polytechnic to abort the pregnancy they had for him....
Jeezz...my body come down say what!!...which kind thing be this....that's karma...
So sometimes we don't just understand aw things work...we just go about blaming God but then he is on a revenge mission.....
Let's pray not to be a victim of evil circumstances of the sin that our fore father's might have committed in time past..

Note- ain't judging Uwa and her family members...
God will give her eternal rest in his bossom of which is great peace...
And for the perpetrators, nemesis will surely catch up with them...I am very sure of that...

Whenever I remember the bolded above I will laff and my body go come Down small.. because I have been shaking since
You gave a very useless example bros. What happened to "the sins of the father shall not be meted on his son/daughter"? Don't you know you're invariably calling God a liar? So you actually thought it just, that his daughter died because of her father's past sins? You're mention karma nonsense, when it's not the man that was directly affected. You religious folks can make the most outrageous statementsangry
Christianity EtcRe: 6 Useful Tips For Raising Godly And Confident Children by JastSiryin(m): 11:50am On May 31, 2020
rentAcock:
Its not always about instilling confidence in your children. Some of the most successful scientists, innovators, inventors etc are shy introverts. Just let your child know you are there to support and guide them. For example, stop telling an average looking child that he's cute when he is self aware that he's just average. I see so many people on social media typing things like "aww such a cute baby" when they know rightfully well the baby is just average. Falsely boosting your children's confidence with lies will make them not trust your words.
You've got some good points there. I do agree with your point that building confidence should be tempered with honesty. But I'd like to respectfully disagree with some of them. Firstly, that shyness isn't always to be paired with introversion, even though it's a common misconception that they can't be independent of one another. Even extroverts can be shy, especially amongst new people. And for many, it's a behavioral response they'll always have to deal with no matter how good they are at socializing.

Secondly, is that your example of shy scientists seemed to imply that they were able to achieve such great feats without confidence. I may be wrong in my assumption. But I'd just like to point out that shyness in social situations doesn't mean the individual is without some level of confidence. As confidence in one's abilities(which is virtually indispensable if one is to achieve anything substantial) can be totally independent of people. In this case, it is self-imbibed.

Your first sentence was the perfect answer. It's a shame that boredom still crept in. For me it's almost inevitable at some point, i can feel it creeping in most times. I procrastinate a lot, I have a very good memory, when I’m lost in my thoughts I tend to forget what I planned to do, by the time the memory of my obligations come to mind, it’s too late or I’m not in that vicinity. And so I say I’ll do it the next day, but the circles continues for a while before I force remember it at the appropriate time. Even as I write this, there are things getting my attention away from my phone for some seconds, I’m a optimist by the way.
Man, i "zone out" like crazy. Maintaining absolute concentration isn't something i can do intentionally. Especially when the task is something that requires conscious attention, and aslo requires me to think continuously. It's almost like my mind needs to take a break from time to time, so i just zone out to some other interesting thought

Although if i may say, i tend to be able to concentrate fully at long stretches if it's a passive activity. Let's say something like, if i were reading a very interesting article online, or playing PES.

I can relate to the procrastination part too, that's usually how it is. Thought i was to only one who tended to forget things at the vital time. I often forget to properly articulate my views during an argument. Only to remember what i should've said when I'm not in that vicinity anymore. Honestly I've just had to accept that aspect of me grin

So, I'd like to ask. Learning a computer based skill such as yours is no easy feat, especially for one who struggles to concentrate. How did you do it man? Honestly I tried to dabble into programming, ended up quiting beacuse i just lost steam. Could hardly concentrate anymore

That doesn't mean she doesn't care, but she just doesn't comment on such sensitive issues publicly!!!

You're the biggest idiot I've come across in a while angry

So beacuse another region got attacked prior and nothing was done, these ones are supposed to keep quiet right? Most especially beacuse they're Christians.

You're a perfect example of religious bigot. You don't see that in both instances, the attack was wrong, you only care to see if the victims are muslim.I guess this doesn't bother you.

It's really sickening that people can see mass slaughter such as these as a totally normal phenomenon. In any case, is the public outcry not justified? How could people who are supposed to be safeguarded by their government keep quiet after such an event?

Nigeria is a beautiful country with a beautiful God, plus;

Beautiful and gorgeous women

Beautiful opportunities if only you can see beyond where you are rite now.

So, provided I have money ,I stay in Nigeria my country and enjoy all its splendor.
"provided i have money"... And there lies a major problem with this country. What happens if you don't have money? What's happens if you're only able to get by? I'll leave that to your imagination. A country where even middle income families are barely able to keep their heads above water, and still very often face the brunt of our harsh economy is more horrendous than beautiful.

It's a hard knock life for the poor anywhere in the world. But in truth, one could only imagine how it must be for those in 3rd world countries.

We as citizens seem to have concocted our own verison of the "American dream". Whereby ideally, we somehow manage to hit it big and are able to live our lives in relative comfort.

On one hand this belief may foster personal growth and industry, but on the flipside, we turn a blind eye to our collective power as citizens, and with little to no feeling of our social responsibility.

I can't really say if the latter is a symptom of our individualistic pursuits, or that for convenience sake, we simply choose instead, to take a gamble at life. Albeit a gamble fraught with odds that rarely favor the underdog. It's no suprise our high poverty rate. A result not for a lack of effort, but an effect of a very flawed and fantastically corrupt system.

It just irks me that most people have more or less given up on the idea that anything could be done as a people to change the way our country is being governed. If we employed the same zest and optimism to our collective interests as we do our personal, we would've been in a much better place. But alas, it's just not the case.

Getting rich in this country is becoming more of an illusion nowadays, but most people wouldn't want to admit this.
