abes: Is it possible for someone to remove assembly members that were elected by the people?one man can remove assembly members and governors, if they are foools. |
Dracula27%:BH is a loose organization. it has many 'top' commanders. it doesn't take long to become a commander; all it takes is to show your zeal, firm and irrevocable commitment to the cause. so there are lots of top commanders out there. |
Global Innovation through Science and Technology (GIST) initiative The GIST Tech-I 2013 competition is here! Make sure to apply and show what you got! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7djrBrvaqjc My guys this subject matter seems interesting. i'm out of it because i'm not a 'tech' person per se. But i will like to see young Nigerians, female and male participate and win prizes there. Good luck |
kopite: this sheik gumi is suicide bomber. he has succeeded in brainwashing lots of young muslims, radicalising and turning them against the government. lets see how his script turns out. teniyi: Oh my God, you read and still understand excertly opposite of what the man preached. Get a brain please. 9jauk: Sounds too good to be true, I'm suspecting maybe Shara reporters web has been hack into, this Sheik can't be trusted, have read volume s of articles and videos of his sermons ain't confused enough if is up to any good, I hope Nigeria will split I my generation enough is enough, na by force, kilode******@teniyi You also need a brain to understand the post you are commenting on. first take a look at sheik gumi's earlier teachings to muslims, then analyse his current utterances, and then reconcile the two; if you have a brain, that will tell you where he is heading to. just don't take sheik gumi's utterances at face value. |
saintneo: Why reject state creation, LG & State Assembly autonomy?Because those agitating for new states are not serious. the 1999 constitution has clearly spelt out the steps to creating a state. |
berem: Expect More Power Cuts, Minister Tells NigeriansWHO IS AFRAID OF LOSING WHAT HE/SHE DON'T HAVE? |
maryjames9: Now the paid pro-Gej(Abati and company including the remaining people among 40-man laptop crew) and paid Anti-Gej(Lai Muhamhed and company) have dominated this thread. Let me excuse myself. But please try to do visible projects that will make life easier for people Mr president. We aint seeing anything significant besides the usual empty government propadanda;corruption, insecurity, perpetual power outage and the list go on.do you realise that you are one of the 'paid anit-gej'? - going by your submission highlighted above; if any one that criticizes this government is a 'paid anti-gej' as you are insinuating. just as you aint seeing any progress, so also are 'Lai Mohammed and company' and indeed other Nigerians. keeping qiute just means accepting 'the usual empty government propaganda;corruption, insecurity, perpetual power outage and the list go on' as normal and right. |
Abujafood: Does the Leadership Newspaper have any real defense other than press freedom? Question remains provide proof that the document you published isn't falsified, they're yet to comply! gregg2: This whole thing was fabricated by Tinubu and his gang to forestall posible probe of his loot. The strategy was to raise an alarm using an Abuja-based newspaper (not Lagos) so Nigerians don't suspect they were behind it. There was no presidential directive anywhere. No bromide exist anywhere. The so-called bromide publish by leadership newspaper was a mere graphic work that was poorly done by an amateur. The burden of proof rests with the accuser. let the fg proof that the document in question is either forged, falsified, diluted, photoshopped, doctored, mutilated, misrepresented, or otherwise presented in a form other than the original one; in other words, altered. |
Okija_juju: Amodu no get self-respect at all o. The same NFF wey rubbish you two times in the past..this is not entirely a matter of self-respect. if he refuses the job will you provide for him and his family? for your info he is a senior and respected member of the 'big' football family in Nigeria and Africa. it is part of the job of coaching to be sacked and recalled as the occasions demand. that shows his stuff as a good coach. That's the only career work the guy have at hand now - FOOTBALL COACHING. the local league is not strong enough to be attractive to the 'big' coaches like him. so they depend on the national teams for contracts and compete with the younger coaches for same. he may not like coaching outside Nigeria too. what else and where else do you want him to work? he may not be willing and able to change a career now. he is gradually moving towards retirement. |
1forall: ... Nigeria is finished but being kept alive by greed, avarice and self aggrandisement.the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth |
Ikanium: Years past various Nigerian pastors have been connected with one scandal or the other ranging from money fraud, diversion of church money, acquiring of properties worth billions of naira and rituals among others.I hope you are not being deliberately mischievous in asking this question by qualifying it with "ONLY". i would have disregarded your deliberate ignorance of the number and quality of Pastors/Overseers in Nigeria; North-South-East-West. whatever criteria you use, and want your respondents to use, i doubt you will arrive at the answer your question is insinuating. Pastor W. F. Kumuyi is no doubt a popular Pastor who has not been associated with a major scandal. if honesty is measured by open scandals, then there are thousands and thousands of Pastors who will pass this test conveniently. note that Deeper life is not the oldest church in Nigeria. There are churches which have existed for over a century with no record of any scandal. i have not been in touch with W. F. Kumuyi, but i'm sure he will not like to associate himself with the title you are trying to ascribe to him here, "the only honest Pastor/Overseer in Nigeria". more so, church leadership is spiritual, and can not be measured by media scandals or perceptions. so please be careful in dealing with spiritual matters in social media/networks. |
spywareczar: What rubish?? hopelink1: It's madness. If FG can be training boko harams just like dat, then i agree that FG is a part of boko haram Ayorh4you: This is absolute madness! I can see BokoHaram is winning the battle to islamize Naija. The federal government wants to join in bringing/training up future bokoharamist abi Watzhup: If i may ask, what is the real meaning of AlmajiriALMAJIRI IS SIMPLY A MOSLEM SCHOLAR. its a islamic theological school. AT GRADUATING THE SCHOLAR IS QUALIFIED AS 'MALLAM', A MOSLEM TEACHER. it is purely a religious affair. just like the bible theology schools we have around. By recognising 'almajiri schools', GEJ has breached section 10 of the Nigerian constitution (1999) which states clearly that "The Government of the Federation or of a State shall not adopt any religion as State Religion". By adopting ALMAJIRI SCHOOLS and spending unbudgeted national resoureces on it, GEJ has adopted islam as a state religion. THIS IS AN IMPEACHABLE OFFENCE. QOUTE ME ANY WHERE. we only have ignoble heartless looters on the assembly who are calling themselves legislators otherwise no president should indulge in this rubbish and go free. who is gej trying hard, and unsucessfully, to appease? ISLAM? TELL HIM HE CANT. A MILLION GEJs can never appease moslems. its unfortunate for Nigeria to be saddled with the burden of unrealistic, spineless and confused leadership. |
omaigala: What baffles me most is the CIA's report of the erosion menace in Nigeria, the probable conclusion is that, the CIA have being spying on us for God knows when.are you just knowing? fyi if you need facts on Nigeria (economic, social, political) get it from USA, UK, UN and other organizations; not Nigeria govt. who takes every one for granted. |

@op and other scholars in the house. i feel the context of "spokesman for God" need to be properly defined here. i know Jeremiah as a messenger of God. now are 'messenger' and 'spokesman' the same? |
Ifetex: A BETTER WAY TO CELEBRATE ITi dont blame the poster; i blame the moderators. what are they moderating? being insensitive to the sensibilities of others. |
Litmus: What message does this send to the north?i tot this was done in the north. was it in Nigeria? |
musKeeto: Click here for link the man's nose has been designed to look exactly like the original – slightly crooked. |
manmade: Hmmmm if the people dat ave bin commenting on this post except for four or five poster[s] are d same set of people this country relied on as future's leaders then we are doomed for sure.you can say that again. you are just realizing what we have known long long time ago. |
jumobi1: Tom Ikimiwhat is your answer? |
naptu2: I keep telling people, but they won't listen. If given the opportunity, Boko Haram will kill the Sultan, the Emirs, Buhari, Jonathan, Oritsejafor, Babangida, Atiku and anybody that does not agree with their own brand of Islam.are you just knowing now? |
Decryptor: I see this as an feigned attack to incite the anger of muslims against christians in Kano state. THE GUN-MEN WHO DID THIS ARE NOT CHRISTIANS! CHRISTIANITY DOES NOT ENCOURAGE VIOLENCE!! babyosisi: Listen for the next news@babyosisi you may modify your post thus: babyosisi: Listen for the next newsThey are always craving for this injection in order to practice what they have been taught from birth. |
Jarus: Yeah, there are sentiments. For example, I see Algerian captain voting for Karim Benzema as no 1. That's clearly sentiment-driven. No sane football watcher would say Benzema was best player in the world in 2012. Messi, Ronaldo, Falcao, Iniesta, Xavi, all debatable, but Benzema, clearly nah. But I can see teh connection - Benzema has Algerian origin like the voter.the voting process -aided by the points method - actually cancelled the sentimentally skewed votes. the end results reflects the popular opinion, which is what fifa is looking for. |
denitro: PERCENTAGE OF TOTAL FINAL VOTEI think this should be percentage points not votes per se |
FXKing2012: The voting process is extremelyhow? ![]() |
KnowAll: But at times we might be over exergerating IBB's, Abacha's and any other head of state's wealth. If Nigeria as a country only makes $30 billion dollars a year, how could it be possible for someone like Abacha to be Richer than Dangote. Abacha would have to steal the whole $30 billion year in year out which is not possible?this is very interesting. can we make it a thread of its own. cos it is at variance with the current topic. |
truelove.com: Built2last: Officially, Dangote is..but in reality, he is far from being the richest. We all know the truth...if the richest men pull out their resources and investments from Dangote. He will become poor..he is simply a poor dude being used by the bourgeousie Built2last: Officially, Dangote is..but in reality, he is far from being the richest. We all know the truth...if the richest men pull out their resources and investments from Dangote. He will become poor..he is simply a poor dude being used by the bourgeousie KnowAll:
SURELY HE IS. ARE YOU JELOUS? obailala: Dangote is officially the richest since he can defend the source of his wealth. Yomieluv: Officially yes,cos he has a legitimate business that generate income for him,but there so many rich people that are richer than him,but can't come out to declare it,cos their money is illegitimately gotten.-ie-drug barons, politicians, etc. abdulkayus: Dangote is d legally richest man in Nigeria. Others lyk IBB, OBJ, GEJ and politicians got their thru corruption, so dey will nt be counted as legally rich, dat is y dey hide their ill gotten wealth which dey will leave in dis world wen dey die and God will question dem on d day of judgement. KnowAll: But Forbes recognises Adenuga as a billionaire in his own right. Although not as rich as Dangote becos he has not got many stock exchange quoted companies unlike Dangote. Dangote has a transparent wealth that can easily be determined.forbes is only interested in transparent wealth that can be verified. |
ogb5: do we have a mathmatician in the house?why dont you think first before you post? |
don33310: Somalia is better than nigeria.UNFORTUNATELY TRUE |
chino24: The Federal Government has announced plans to construct 10 new rail lines to cover other parts of the country currently not linked by rail.TOTAL NONSENSE!! The headline is misleading - 'feasibility studies had commenced on seven of the proposed railway lines' No work has started. the feasibility of the projects is still being planned. what if the projects are found not feasible? THIS IS ARRANT NONSENSE!! |
adeshina86: All nigerian leaders are corrupt........ Callotti: Some are robbing the piggy-bank, others are driving the getaway cars! hardbody: YES, There are all CORRUPT. Well let's say they are all epitome of corruption or better still, corruption personified.YES ALL ARE CORRUPT!!! You need to know the meaning of corruption; the letter and the spirit. Any good english dictionary at your disposal will define corruption for you in clear terms Those who think they are not corrupt, but keep quite in the face of corruption, for whatever reason, are equally corrupt. Those who keep quite while in office and talk like parrots against 'corruption' while out of office are also corrupt. Those who claim not to be corrupt but give way for corruption to thrive are corrupt as well. I agree that the system is corrupt and entry into the corrupt system leaves one with dents of corruption. BUT WE DON'T HAVE RECORD OF A NIGERIAN IN POSITION OF LEADERSHIP WHO HAS EVER RESIGNED HIS POSITION BECAUSE THE SYSTEM DID NOT ALLOW HIM TO MAINTAIN HIS HONESTY AND UPRIGHTNESS; OR WHO HAS RETURNED MONEY BACK TO THE STATE TREASURY BECAUSE IT COME TO HIM/HER ILLEGALLY (BECAUSE MOST OF THE MONEY THEY RECEIVE AS PERKS OR ALLOWANCES ARE ILLEGAL, THEY DEFINE THEIR CONDITIONS OF SERVICE DIFFERENT FROM THE STATUTORY ONES; NOT TO TALK OF BRIBES AND KICK BACKS), JUST LIKE SOME TAXI DRIVERS AND OTHER HONEST NIGERIANS HAVE ALWAYS DO. |
16 billion annually is a lie. Nigeria needs seriousness, focus and renewal of old infrastructure, and building of more power generating facitilies. The world has invented cheaper and smarter ways to reach these goals.
it is not money that will fix the energy problem. Just one solution will tackle the whole problem. Being serious. |
karl max: it is only a hypocrite that would expect it to end with a wave of magic wand. And only a small mind would expect an age long problem to be solved in 2years.and if I may ask where u present when he parmmited the use of the military aircraft for such pupose.I guess he also permitted the use of policemen as houseboys and house girl to private citizen and also permited military men we see everyday who escort smuggled vehicle and other contraband from cotonu!SHOW ME A PRESIDENT WHO CAN NOT STOP A WRONG PRACTICE BECAUSE IT HAS BEEN THERE BEFORE HE ASSUMED OFFICE AND I WILL TELL YOU HE IS NOT WORTH BEING A PRESIDENT |
