coogar: most babies can swim at 9 months - were they not swimming in their mother's belly before birth?Babies swim and kick in their mothers' wombs many months before their birth. this is not strange. |
Blazay: Be quiet! You can only have security if YOU JOIN THEM TO PRODUCE A NORTHERN DICTATOR!I think you brought some humor and sense into this post, posted by a mischief maker with ulterior motives, to a confused audience always looking for scapegoats in place of solutions. bravo for your sarcastic half facts |
Ikanium: My name is Stephen Ikani i stay in stevo4shiz: BAN THIS CRIMINAL PLEASEBAN THIS CRIMINAL FOR LIFE ASAP PLEASE |
yanni.:What is the sense in this rubbish spewed by a deceitful and mischievous MD, echoed by a roadside journalist, posted by an unrealistic dreamer and commented by gullible headline skimmers. the quotations of the MD above does not add up; the theory of locomotie engine assembly in Nigeria is not supported by the reality of the economy, railway industry, politics, government and PDP; GE the purported 'assembler'? is still looking for investors; meanwhile GE, the purported 'assembler'? of the locomotive engines is completely silent and out of the picture. THIS IS ARRANT NONSENSE! |
Sincere 9gerian: I thought these persons have all served their prison terms? Should ex-convicts now be barred from walking on certain roads or going to certain places? Are they now less human because they'r ex-convicts? Was the prison term not meant to CORRECT them and make them BETTER citizens once they'r out of prison? The SELF-RIGHTEOUS attitude of some Nigerians is disgusting.just wished @Sincere 9gerian knows what the letter and spirit of 'ex-convict' means. to okupe, he (and others of his ilk) may do well to read the following sections of the constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria to further reaffirm his position as a cheap mischief maker. sections 66(1)h http:///vHoAS ; 107(1)h http:///3rs9Q ; 137(1)i http:///vOkS3 ; 182(1)i http:///m4HqCc ; Part II of the Fifth Schedule http:///L3DNkC these and many other sections disqualifies the president, legally and morally, from fraternizing with ex-convicts. Okupe is morally bankrupt. he is someone to be watched by right thinking people. |
Eko Atlantic#: Eko Ile: The concessioned road belongs to the people of Lagos state, it's called indirect taxation. If they ask you to pay taxes to build that road, you wont pay, so you are paying for it right now, but the road is all yours free after the concession. Obinnanze: Nigerian. We want top class facilities but we r not ready to make the sacrifices. Cities lk London and NY (which we call developed ) all practice the same BOT and toll system. That is how they developed so fast. We shld appreciate the vision of the Lagos state Gov. Pls. skyfall: To you Fashola sycophants, abeg shut up jare. You cannot love him more than his wife. We all know he's a good administrator. The Lekki road project is seriously fvcked up. He knows this at the back of his mind, he just can't say NO to Tinubu who designed the road project around his personal gain.I've always maintained: THIS LEKKI ROAD PROJECT LCC PUTS LOGIC ON ITS HEAD! You build roads then collect tolls on them, to recoup your investment and profit. that is the practice; it is fair and may be acceptable. You don't start by building toll gates, then collect tolls, use the money to build roads and claim credit for the investment, and continue collecting money into private pockets endlessly, in the name of private Public Partnership. that is not the model and spirit PPP. The government is taking people for a ride. The whole arrangement lacks transparency and smacks of massive fraud. |
comm: its good to lay off, but have you asked where the conserved money will go to? or what the few left in government will do to put food on the table of those laid off. There's more to development than cutting down workforce, it begins in prudent management of available resources, not in waking up to discover more resources can be conserved by laying off workers only to have xcess money for those in position to loot in surplusThat is the point! We are not sure of those who will manage the 'freed up money' arising from all these money conserving theories; remove subsidy to free money, reduce unproductive and over bloated civil service workforce to save money, reduce number of political appointees to save money, reduce pay package of political office holders to save money, etc, etc, etc. and i repeat - WHO WILL MANAGE THESE FREE UP MONEY .are we talking about these same politicians, who can not manage the available resources properly, that will automatically transform to be good managers of bigger money? is it these politicians that have now acquire a high taste for private jets that will manage the freed up money? is it these politicians with 10 presidential jets - and still counting - who will manage the money? is it these same politicians who will eat over 1 billion naira food, in a 2 billion naira new banquet hall, that will manage the free up money, is it the politicians demolishing fully built up estates in abuja to reallocate the plots to themselves that, that will manage the money? these case questions can go on and on endlessly with nigerian politician who, unfortunately, are the custodians of the national wealth, and they decides who gets what. they have proven over and over and over that they are not willing and able to put the resources of this country to proper use for the benefit of the citizenry. they have proved, beyond reasonable doubt, that they can not manage the national wealth. the Bible states clearly in Luke 6:10 http:///l9SEg that "If you are faithful in little things, you will be faithful in large ones. But if you are dishonest in little things, you won’t be honest with greater responsibilities". So in as much as money may be freed up from the much speculated policy postulations, i strongly doubt the resulting impact on the generality of Nigerian citizens. i mean the impact in business, infrastructure, creation of employment, education, health, better governance, etc. |
doctokwus: Anoda populist, poorly thought out move.Where will d funding for offsetting d balance to d institutions come from,or wi he now b owing salaries or cutting subventions? As long as he hasn't elaborated how to improve funding or @worst maintain d present funding,I don't think anyone shd b applauding himyou just can't conclude it is 'populist, poorly thought out'. the staff salaries/allowances and maintenance funding, for all public schools and institutions, are budgeted and disbursed by the state. it appears over the years these high school fees were not used for development of the respective schools, but went to private pockets, while govt funds the schools 100% and gets the blame 100%. if govt can not ensure judicious use of the proceeds of school fees, considered to be on the high side, and is not convinced that the students get commensurate value for it, then it is justified to temper with the school fees to a reasonable extent. after all Gov Okorocha is running a welfarist agenda in his state. my thoughts are, will these policies endure after his tenure? |
ochallo: I don't believe this couple are going to have sex , the whole night would be sent praying and thanking GOd.What will happen the night after? |
warrior01: sincerely speaking, the amount is reasonable. Fyi, taking care of dogs cost a lotthey know gullible, people like you, will fall for the trap. For the avoidance of doubt, the amount of N1.305B is budgeted for refreshments and meals only. all others are items that are already taken care of in other subheads. in order to fully appreciate the level of insensitivity, insincerity and reckless waste by the gluttonous bunch we have at the asso rock. |
naturality: only a foolish man will do this. even if na my pikin nko? everybody has a duty to play and this is definitely not my own partno be your fault. you no get pickin. but i'm sure when you get one, you will think differently. remember to ask for forgiveness from those you have erroneously offended out of unreasonable ignorance in the midst of plenty and free knowledge and counsel. |

demmykay: Typical nigeria man will nt do dis. Funny pixxx www.nairaland.com/attachments/883859_197139_10151153305009822_1364902292_n_jpg8493ec20e3589772c2ba3ef73c053e57 i tot de man in picture is Nigerian; or is he 'un-typical' Nigerian? |
Mynd_44: That's great for Dangote, Edo state and NigeriaIN THAT ORDER |
ocelot2006: Of all people, definitely NOT Pastor Kumuyi. That's the most modest GO I've seen.SECONDED |
Okija_juju: THE NIGERIAN GOVERNMENT IS WEAK God have mercy on us.. Next is the Yorubas. The South-South group got theirs, the Northern group is about to get theirs, Next is the Western group.foolish boy; you are just knowing now. why did it take you so long to know that we have e weakling as president |
Akshow: Na wa o. Oma ga o. So she was pregnant around nine. When she start meses gan gan Na self? The world is truly coming to an end.baby girls are born with their eggs intact. so a two year old (or less) baby can become pregnant if a healthy spamatozoon finds its way to her eggs. |
acidosis™:and sex |
Shaw007: See a foreigner optimistic and hopeful about this country.this is someone who sees the potential the supposed sons of the soil do Not see. . .This is what i kp teLLing Pp. . The change wud not just occur. . .it starts with One step. . .Stop that wishful thinking! its obsolete and unrealistic. what do you expect from a visiting president? to say nigeria has failed? or is irredeemable? you must be what you are to expect that. |
Godson.Ade:WHOEVER TOLD YOU THERE IS A PERMANENT JOB? |
Turbocharged: Against the backdrop of President Goodluck Jonathan’s yet-to-be announced re-election bid, a Lagos-based social critic, Prince Kayode Olowu, has said that the president would be his own greatest inhibition, as there is a dearth of trustworthy opposition across the political spectrum.WHAT DOES THIS CAMPAIGN FOR GEJ MEAN? |
okunboy: Conspiracy Theory:The general was killed by the JTF. The man has been marked by the security operatives as one of the sponsors of Boko-haram sect. He has been under security survaillance and profilling all this while. He was not killed by boko haram........... A friend told me this from maiduguri and I was a kind of shock! But I think this is sounding like the truth!boy, mind ya tongue!!! |
take dat: Should we then discredit this report based on your post? Let us know where you stand.where is the credibility in this report in the first place? none! so there is nothing to discredit in the first place. this should answer your thoughtless question. |
SlyIg: Who is this Mohammed for goodness sake!google general mohammed shuwa. |
chosen04: Members of Jama’atul Ahlis Sunnah Lidda’awati Wal Jihad also known as Boko Haram have said they are now willing to seize fire and stop all atrocities being perpetrated by their group and work against other existing groups if the State and Federal Government will truly heed to their demands. That's how it works when a government can not crush a rebellious insurgency by disgruntled element. they will call for negotiations when they have done their worst, and can not continue or move over, and they have nowhere to fall back to. they now call for negotiations to safe their face. |
Billyonaire: Boko Haram should Dialogue with JTF at Bornoi think since this clone, sorry Billyonaire, (it masquerades in so many names and shades) came to nl, this is closest it has come, to making sense. |

Lanreclassic: President Goodluck Jonathan has felicitated with former President Olusegun Obasanjo on his appointment as the Country Representative for Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Trust.... and what is the job description (ACTUALLY, TASK) of this OLD SLAVE in his “new honorific position”? (AND I DARE CALL IT COLONIAL SLAVERY) VERY SIMPLE! AND OPEN TOO; TO PERSUADE, REQUEST, FORCE, COERCE, COMPEL, PRESSURIZE, INTIMIDATE, BULLY, TERRORIZE, NIGERIA AND NIGERIANS, AND THEN COLLECT, GATHER, MOP-UP, ACCUMULATE, AMASS, OR OTHERWISE, STEAL, DIVERT, 419, REPATRIATE, EXPORT AND STASH NIGERIAN MONEY IN WHATEVER DENOMINATION, € , ¥ , £ , $ |
Billyonaire: My friend, Akwa Ibom State is rich enough to buy a private jet for her Governor, Stop this ranting.PLEASE MENTION ONE STATE IN NIGERIA THAT IS NOT RICH ENOUGH TO BUY A PRIVATE JET FOR HER GOVERNOR. IT IS JUST A MATTER OF PRIORITY. EITHER WELL PLACED OR MISPLACED. |
Billyonaire: GEJ, if you fly a Governor abroad for Treatment, I will be upset, I hate it when politicians capitalize on mishaps to score cheap political points. The Governor can not afford to build hospitals but can afford to spend millions of dollars on a farmer's plane ?but you are happy with mrs gej resting in germany because the resting houses built by fgn in asso rock, yenegoa and all over nigeria are not enough for her to give her the rest she needed? you fool. whoever told you that nigerians needs gej's money or permission to travel abroad for anything (medical treatment inclusive) for that matter? you slowpoke. why is gej suddenly running his mouth uncontrollably on Suntai's health when he could not utter a word on his wife's health for over two months. you half-baked. |
Torch1: Are those two people on uniform not mobile policeYOU ARE A BIG BIG FOOOOOOOL. |
Kamsy10: Nigerias charity begins abroadI wonder why people are wasting their energy on this media matter. whether it is true or not, IN NIGERIA, CHARITY BEGINS ABROAD. its nothing new. we have forces all over the world keeping peace while nigeria is in pieces. i consider most posts condemning this 'gesture' as grossly hypocritical. https://www.nairaland.com/386673/rivers-state-donates-1m-haiti http://odili.net/news/source/2010/jan/19/218.html https://www.nairaland.com/882197/general-ty-danjuma-donates-1m https://www.nairaland.com/485198/nigeria-donates-200000-uganda-landslide http://www.unicef.org/nigeria/media_4006.html http://www.nigeriacommunicationsweek.com.ng/news/globacom-raises-funds-for-haiti-quake-victims http://www.vanguardngr.com/2012/05/nigerian-civil-servants-donated-salaries-to-liberation-struggles-in-s-africa-obasanjo/ |
