Can you recommend any providers with quality training, I dont want any of these 'abe ile' trainers o. The training links i have are sort of london based but i know you have the required skills to succeed as a BA It's the power of the CV We go find time to yarn |

naijababe: The financial sector is often the first casualty of a recession but I reckon I can probably use the skills in other ways aside from working for a bank, investment/asset management entities.
As for career and family, both are important within reason o, I have no real interest in some high flying job that will take me away from home for weeks. To be honest, I am at a point where I just want to go to work earn enough to live decently. I have had BA peddled to me by a few people but given the ease of getting a certificate and it is the go to for Jack and Jill, I am quite wary. Decisions, decisions, decisions! I'm not so sure how transferable specific skills such as financial planning will be in the longer scheme of things but yeah some skills can be carried forward I'm sure you know BA is diverse and almost certainly peculiar to each industry. You already have unique knowledge of the oil industry so why can't you apply it to all industries that has something to do with commodity? I wouldn't pay too much attention to Naijas that makes it look easy. BA ain't for the faint-hearted. You have to be knowledgeable to proffer solutions for business or process improvement |

naijababe: Which oyel money again? Dem don chop that one finish, me dey find the next global cake now ni What's important to you, money or career? IF money is important then try contracting (BA) as that's the In thing I will be cautious in using trend to determine the next a long term career change. At the end of the day though, financial sector isn't recession proof as well as questionable longer term prospect with the advent of AI and its core application |

Forwetinnah: And where were you when the 25 Trans Amadi Saga was on several months back..living under A Rock I guess? You are the one who needs to pull your head outta your smelly ass. You lot are so pathetic!!
See you asking for "verifiable evidence" when a bank in the US flagged booooohari's administration about an outrageous amount lodged into their bank by Ameachi. My goodness? What rubbish won't you support?! You think boooooohari is bold enough to go after people who know him too well? This isn't a fight against corruption but a fight against the opposition, he said it himself that he wants to "do away" with the opposition which will never be possible. Who thinks like that in a democratic setting? I cringe at the nonsense supported by people who claim to know it all but are being ridiculed daily by an old man without an education. Look around you..this country is currently an international disgrace!! Please share the link to the so called US bank that openly claimed Amaechi lodged an outrageous amount Just pathetic that you probably passed through the walls of a university but fails to engage your God given brain |

Forwetinnah: That has been done sooooo many times? The State government even wrote to the EFCC, had meetings with boooooohari to get States funds back. With all the evidences against Burantai and Abba Kyari etc flying everywhere, what has the EFCC done? It's really crazy that some of you think boooooohari's anti corruption fight is for real because the biggest thieves are his lapdogs. He's doing all this to curb/ checkmate the opposition so they won't have resources to kick him out when the time comes!!!!!! He has failed anyway So in your Myopic mind, you think Fayose and FFK are buhari's opposition? Get your head of out of your ass I asked for verifiable evidence of irregular lodgements into Amaechi's account not suspicious/fictitious contracts he might have authorized whilst being the CEO of Rivers state Burantai did declare the asset in his CCB form so where exactly is the corruption? You can't nail someone by suspicion but by hard facts!!! Yes his wealth remains questionable but you have no case until you can prove the asset was procured from proceed of ill gotten wealth |

Abcka811: My annonyance is why has God not punished this country? How on earth can a government flags all the accounts of all pdp members and refuse to flag the accounts others like the greatest financier (Amaechi)of Buhari's campaign organisation. Why should Buhari even if he has not human blooding running in his system by looking only one side while fighting corrution when there are many evidences against Amaechi, Fashola etc. ? Use your brain for freaking sake mehn They electronic footprint of the money withdrawn from Dasuki's ATM is what's being traced. If you have evidence of account lodgement irregularities on Amaechi then approach EFCC |

How exactly did you manage to tag her experience as oppression? Her account (which has allegedly been linked to FFK) had a prior no debit flag It's best practice for the bank to invite the police when a suspect tries to withdraw money from a flagged account. (That's what happens in western countries) Why would the girl go all the way to Ekiti to withdraw money when she supposedly reside in Lagos/Abuja with no connection whatsoever to Ekiti state |

veave: i'm not saying the op is right, in fact if you ask me i'll say she even needs therapy. There are so many ways one can make another do his/her bidding without imposing. doesn't sound nice at all. I get your point but she is already showing empathy by being on this thread and providing logical suggestions to the problems Feedback doesn't always have to a sympathy undertone for it to be tagged as effective Her selling the tab or at least showing willingness to consider all available options simply means she is ready to get herself out of the mess, No? |

veave: I do not like the way you are commanding her. Do you realise it's insensitive for someone with a luxury asset to ask other people that are possibly worse off for help? Nigeria is tough and a large percentage of people that usually donate on NL probably don't own a tab So here is a scenario to get you thinking: How would you advice a business man that owns a house in Ikoyi but unable to continue funding his businesses because of bankruptcy. Wouldn't you advice the business man to downsize since his current status can't fund his usual lifestyle? |

tearoses: Good morning and well done to everyone. Nairalanders are indeed caring.
Please do not make her feel under pressure to abort or adopt. Only the mother of the baby has the right to decide if she wants an abortion and since she doesn’t want it, then that’s her right of choice. Moji and Moji alone will deal with the guilt and aftermath of an abortion or adoption, so it has to be her decision only to do this.
I do pray that there is a happy ending for Moji, her mum and the innocent child/ren involved in all this.
CC caracta No one is pressuring her into making decisions she is uncomfortable with. She is an adult and can make her own decisions but it's necessary to suggest all options that would normally help her get back on her feet. |
