Fynestboi: 1. What's the essence of man coming to this earth when latter on he will still die?
Is there really a way the above question can be answered without religious colouration? Hmmmm
Will try. What's the point in manufacturing food that has an expiry date? What's the point in exerting all your energy and love on something that isn't guaranteed? What's the point in setting and chasing goals when success has a personal definition? The commonality in all the examples is encapsulated with the single word "purpose" and the purpose is a pre-determined phenom which humans usually aspire to serve. We know planet earth was an empty spheroid and majority of past greats were able to leave lasting legacies that we now build advancement and subsequent innovations upon. I know it's gibberish fynestboi but what's with all these philosophical questions mehn.... |

shiftmarket: Guess you are right. Femi Adesina is not doing a good job at all, maybe because he was in the print media where you have an opportunity to reflect and edit. Same issues I guess Abati had (although that one sold his soul to the devil), as a spokes man, you have to be able to think on your feet. That is something fashola does effortlessly, Lai is good too but PDP has successfully reduced his credibility. Choi.. my brain ain't working this morning/afternoon mehn..... That single embolden word succinctly encapsulate everything I've been going round in circles with Lai is a representative of the government and if his integrity/credibility is/will be questioned at all times then he has simply become a liability. I appreciate it's a tough job convincing die hard haters but effective communication doesn't stop at cornering potential votes for subsequent elections, it goes a long way in sending the right signals for would be investors as well as providing the right level of stability by which we can solidly build our growth base on |

oyb: doesn't matter imho. not even sure he actually has image problems. you may be allowing the noise of an army of wailers to mean something when it is actually inconsequential bleating.
the wailers will challenge anything that comes from this administration.
this administration has a very bad information management problem, and if they dont get a hold of it , the pdp etal will capitalize
Dasukigate could have been very well packaged but it wasn't. ditto for Kanu. even these animals in the national assembly.
i believe the average nigerian understands that PMB means well for nigeria, but may need some reassurance. Oga Oyb, can you remember Akpabio's exact words during Lai Mohammed's ministerial screening? I think he called him master of propaganda and the hallowed chamber appeared gassed immediately. Point i'm trying to make is, they will easily deviate from the positives and in turn attack the messenger to create diversionary tactics so as to feed their growing wailers and beyond. Effective communication is key if any sensible/serious government wants to succeed |

freeborn76: As usual albino Senator representing Twitter constituency has already tweeted that there was nothing like Lagos-Calabar rail project; what a shame. Can somebody tell me one major contribution Senator Ben Bruce has made since joining the National Assembly? He seem to spend more time on his phone than on reading between the lines of very important sociopolitical issues. All I know is that Buhari, Osinbajo and Udoma are too dignified to lie just to win cheap political points...rather than clamour and insist on the inclusion of the rail project in the budget, some busy bodies here are insulting the presidency...kontinu! The idiotic SINator had to reference an external source (BudgeIT) to support his clueless colleagues when he could have simply consulted the colleagues that should have been in the know since we can now be rest assured that his employment has been permanently extended to twitter constitency |

UjSizzle: How about they try implementing effective tax collection at the existing rates first before talking about an increase eh
The only way tax increase will be justified is when the government close all the loopholes that aid illicit financial flows out of the country. We can't be paying taxes for some few bureaucrats to be piling up for their future generations. Well the maths might look favourable (Obviously) but the implementation and the cost of chasing the non compliant might be counter productive. Think about this for a second, IF they increase VAT and the big multinationals continue to be compliant, wouldn't that result in an immediate increase in revenue since the increase will be passed to the consumers. |
