egin: Good news. Nigerians can now bring in more junks Do you even know the average salaries of common hard working Nigerians (not the thiefing politicians & government officials) on the street? These people clearly cannot afford newer vehicles but i do agree that a policy to gradualy phase out those death moving thrash called cars or accident waiting to happen junks ought to be introduced. People do need to move around and giving consumers the opportunity to access a more competitive affordable market will only benefit everyone. Yes their will always be a downside to this in terms of increase of cars on the road (more traffic on already bad road network) and that will surely be addressed once the government start investing in alternative mode of transport |

tobialani: The reign of solomon as king in israel took governance, wisdom and wealth to a higher realm. King had riches before him but solomon was richer. David, his father who reigned before him was wise, but solomon was wiser. He combined earthly success with unsual wisdom and thus took royalty to a level better than he met it. Just like solomon, you too must be better than your predecessors. As noted by a poet, The best is yet to be! = The best car hasn't been developed = The final cure hasn't been discovered. = The safest plane hasn't been produced. = The best song hasn't been written. = The best production is not on the market. = The best plant hasn't been grown. = The best sales presentation has not been perfectected. = The best class hasn't been taught. = The best method hasn't been found. = The best dress hasn't been stitched. = The best meal hasn't been cooked. = The best novel hasn't been written. = The best, is yet to be . Wherever you find yourself today

Fhemmmy: I am not sure what to make of this. Not everyone is able to go to the bank and get a loan to buy vehicles that are 10 years of age and newer, so those that depends on the older rides are in big trouble then, and prices of rides will jump up, meanwhile salary remain same. Though, it will rid Nigeria of all the jumks being imported, but there is pros and cons to it all. I beg to defer. adding extra 2 yrs will lead to influx of cars, more choice, better competition and most importantly reduction in car prices. |

I am still friends with most of my ex's and will gladly help if asked but that doesn't mean i will jeopardise my current relationship by acting stupid (sleeping with any of the ex as it will probably re-ignite the flame)
So what the relationship didn't work out but peeps should be matured enough to remain friends (assuming the breakup was on the friendly/mutual side) |

KnowAll: Does that A Nigerian consortium sees it wise to invest £350million pounds on a premiership team, they will probably spend another £150million to £200million if they want to compete for honours, this sheer waste of money in a poor country like nigeria.
With that kind of money investors can
1. Build a fast train from Lagos to Abuja 2.Build 4th Mainland bridge and collect Toll on it. 3.Cover at least the cost of Building a metro in lagos or Abuja 4.Build half a dozen power plants 5.Create employment to thousands of nigeria by building industries, e.g car assembly, lorry assembly, e.c. 6. Complete Tinapa and make it more viable.
Nigerians should be smart about these things, the arabs that bought Man City, have already built a whole new City in Dubai and only looking for business opportunities to promote the houses that has been built in dubai for western investors to buy. Said it all. kudos to your reasoning |

joichi: @ Gucci_Babe, thks girl @ jay bee, thks alot. Tis r d sort of comments that encourages people 2 post threads on tis site. unlik IDIOTS lik, i refuse 2 mention names. anyway, its not lik i'm that much in love but he fills a void & is sort of a substitute until i find som1 else (more seriously). Tink whatever u lik or call me whatever u wnt but tis is simply how i feel. Lik i said earlier, he feels absolutely nothn (as far as i'm concerned) collectn from me. Datz what drives me nuts d most. He's alwayz bin that way even before i got d job, though he is supportive, tolerant & oda tins including satisfyn my sexual nids. But in my books, luks 2 me lik he's my gigolo & i'm a sugar mummy. I do lik him (don't think i love him, if not i don't think i'ld b tis distressed), but lik i said, financially, he's not mature, not ambitious, not what i would wnt anyway because people think i'm a slave driver & tend 2 expct more from people. Moreover, if i decide 2 dump him jst lik that, wldn't he assume i'm jst feeln pompous because i hv a job & he doesn't? & no i'm not a banker but hv a good job that i'm proud of. Pays me enough 2 so i can't complain. What i'm complaining about is hvin 2 share it wit som1 i call "my man". Fair enough. I know this might seem a bit crazy but u might as well use him for sex alone (on the basis that you tell him about it. Not that he'd care anyway) since that's probably the only thing you currently enjoy in the relationship. You need to make sure you train/program your mind to disable/block any lovey dovey thoughts that roams round your heart how long have you known him? |
Family › Re: Did I Really ? by jaybee3(m): 4:30pm On Sep 22, 2008 |
Just live and let her be. Seems like a case of jealousy and no matter what you try she will probably still remain jealous. You need to just learn to ignore, stop the contacts but keep praying as prayers does work. She will change her ways once she realise all the stuffs she is missing
At least you should count yourself lucky to be in a country whereby people will not poke nose into your inability to relate with your sis(if you care about hear say) |

a 31yrs old depending on a 24yrs old is very worrying pls dump his ass and move on. My conclusion is based on the fact that he relies on you not just because he demands money for his upkeep or thereabout.
Save the money you are spending on him for your future because, when he does eventually get a job the probability of him cheating on u is somewhat high (again an assumption based on the fact that he probably likes you for the monetary things you provide) and if it does happen you Will probably curse the whole generation of men in this world and in turn find it hard for your heart to heal. |

and i know a company that has developed a groundbreaking method for producing ethanol from almost any type of biomass or biowaste. This technology allows the production of lignocellulosic ethanol at low cost with many economic, social and environmental advantages.
Their flexible fermentation system is based on high temperature micro-organisms ideally suited to industrial scale production of ethanol. |
