Firstly, there isn't a detailed list of documents required by the visa officer for a visitor visa application to Canada. It's up to the applicant to present a strong case. I see nothing wrong with including your tax return in the visa application; to me, it's even better than a bank statement, which is what I used to invite my family. Then I added my mortgage papers and car documents, along with a support letter stating they're coming for a visit. I own a house and have a car to drive them to tourist centers, so they won't have to pay for food, accommodation, or transportation. This is usually well-received, and they often get the visa. So, personally, I think the documents listed are ok and acceptable.l even invited my uncle and he didnt even add his own bank statement but l added my tax return as proof of finance.

One thing you must know is that DSTV and GoTV are foreign goods just like u order for Gucci, Iphone , Samsung etc.

Has anyone whose student spouse finished from college recently (Winter term transcripts are out) and the spouse applies for PGWP (which of course will take a short time) and they have been able to apply for SOWP?

I hope we are able to see at least one person in the coming months to confirm the route of SOWP via college PGWP.

EFCC real case against the Bobrisky is count 5 that has to do with money laundering. They saw huge transfers to his account by influential people. He only bargained to plead guilty to spraying naira so the money laundering can be quashed so he can at least enjoy his hundreds of millions.

He cannot plead innocent against EFCC else theu will bring up the money laundering case. He is only appealing against the maximum sentence given to him. He has a bad case.

PPR is now scarce here because of IRCC discontinuation of SOWP for College students spouse. I refuse to give up, my PPR cometh soon.

IRCC new law has downgraded me from Spousal Open Work Permit I didn't get twice to now visit visa.

I just got to understand my application is now sitting with the Lagos office. All my previous applications including my wife approved study visa was processed by Nairobi.

What do I expect from Lagos office? Are they as responsive as Nairobi? What's d difference in their approach to applicants?

I was only able to graduate with 2.1 in Information Technology because I already had ND and HND Computer Science background from YabaTech.

NOUN is not your regular unis. The course material are world class.

Most of the people who rush in thinking it's an easier way to become a degree holder drop out after the first exam.Most of the students that graduated with 2.1 in NOUN(especially 4.0 upward) won't find it difficult to get first class in conventional universities.

No sorting
No mark upgrading
No money/body bribery
Etc.

The first two years exams is between you and your computer you can't even ask questions from the person next to you. It's like being caged.

That school is not for people who don't have time to study. It's for those who can read/study and assimilate, cramming is also needed to pass their e-exams coz you have to write the answers exacting how they appear in the course materials.

In all you do pls dont claim assylum, you may spoil the chances of others in future that finds themselves in such situation. IRCC fast tracked ur visa and gave u based on compassionate ground. I remembered when some folks were saying they won't give while others said they will give you on compassionate ground. Imagine if someone else have abused such visit visa before you am sure you won't get it and we will all crucify them. Don't allow anyone push u into asylum exploration. Try study or express entry route.

Havinv said this i will say use the opportunity to visit some graduate schoo and make relationship . You can then return back and apply for a Masters. Getting job with a visit visa is at a chance of 1/100.

You only need supervisors for Research Work (MSc or PhD) not Course based Masters or MBA.

I am currently applying for my wife in two Canada unis one year Masters Course. It's d reasin we didn't opt for Research based so u re talking to a learned person. I don't patronized agents too. I am a promoter of DO It Yourself (DIY).

Anyone that wants to apply for Masters pls do but make sure its course based and ensure you meet all the requirements stated for the Masters course based and back it up with a good Letter of Motivation. Don't let anyone tell you it's imposdible cos its no rocket science. IOyinbos are more transparent than us. t's only Research based Masters that are difficult because of the supervisor requirements. MBA, Masters Course you can get it.

If you did your assignment well, you would know that the Provincial Letter to help limit admission cap does not apply to Masters admission. Canada feels the College admission is used to bring in any dick and Harry with just O level to Canada. They want real professionals that can add value to there country's organization and the policy is not specific to Nigerians. I know several Nigerians enrolling to there Masters program in Camada it is just that the College were cheaper for migration route and this made Nigerians patronized it more earlier.

I think IRCC doesn’t just roll out new rules without looking through all the possible loopholes.

What is the essence of cutting away fuel subsidy for all pms users that uses car, buses etc and you now turn back to subsidize plane travel to a pilgrimage site that has no economical bearing to the country.

Scenario 1: New law on college doesn't affect existing SOWP. So if you eventually got SOWP PPR from your spouse who is in a college for an application before March 19th, what you will qualify for is SOWP extension as your wife is either extending her study permit or moving to PGWP.

All valid SOWP carriers are exempted from the college restriction on SOWP.

Scenario 2, the spouse of a student are not prevented from reuniting with their student spouse who is in a college but they can only do with a visit visa not a SOWP. Except the college student gets admission into a Masters or Professional degrees and then an SOWP can be explored.

Scenario 1
If I applied for SOWP before March 19, 2024 based on a spouse that is in a college, and the SOWP got approved subsequently. Then my spouse is to later apply for PGWP by September same year, will I be eligible for an extension of my SOWP to cover the period of the PGWP? This question is coming because spouses of college students are no longer eligible for SOWP, and we all seem to have concluded that PGWP is treated as extension of rules guiding SOWP.

Scenario 2

If I single person graduates from a college and get PGWP, then gets married does this mean that his/her spouse will not get a SOWP to join them, simply because their spouse finished from college?

Every application is treated uniquely on its merit. Did you know the professional line of others with regards to the conference.

So you can't rule out this basics, reason A could get PPR while B will be refused.

You are using Google search content of November 2023 when IRCC have updated SOWP qualifications to remove College student spouse on March 19th 2024. The joke is on you.

We are not saying you can't bring Spouse with a SOWP but we re saying you can't if your student spouse is enrolled in a college.
