GRACEGLORY:
Almighty CZ participated in the Twitter acquisition deal by providing funds for Almighty Elon. So, in the market, we assume that Binance will become a provider between Twitter and the crypto world. Now, with the implementation of the new verification thing, that is stipulated at the price of $8 per month, obviously, cryptocurrency payments will be accepted.

Technically, the BNB has destroyed major resistances, leaving the $400 area.
Why are you calling mortals like you almighty?

Bnb has about the best tokenomics among majors. It's truly deflationary. It was a monthly chart I posted... it's shown strength for over 6m now
I was skeptical after the recent hack when millions of bnb tokens were minted by the hacker. That held me from exchanging some bitc0in into bnb

It is that scramble by criminals and politicians to change to USD that is the key driver of the sudden fall as never seen before. Read my comment again…
This move doesn't come as a surprise to me. As far back as last year, I knew the tipping point was close
For every devaluation, there would always be a group CBN seeks to blame. At the end of the day, the resulting inflation visits suffering on the masses. It's the job of the CBN to control and adress that not pass blames.

Remember the UK PM lost her job following a move that resulted in such outcome. They didn't go blaming one group or another.

Stability will be achieved. Currency appreciation will occur. It is my view that the Naira will appreciate e.g. when the government implements the necessary and steep cuts to its running expenses. Thus reducing borrowing for expenses (civil servant wages) rather than for infrastructure development. Another example is the elimination of fuel (PMS) subsidy. This will happen too.
I hope it does. But hope alone does not run an economy.
My life wouldn't be paused for looters in government to do the right thing. The last 8 years for Nigeria has been that of severe inflation and no growth. If the next 8 years turns out similar, then that'd be about 2 decades wasted.

In a bear market there are still some movts...
Some coyns are moving well against bitc0in.... These are opportunities for those already stuck in these coins to jump out/move to something safer and not necessarily for folks to take new positions
Eith and etc made good rallies before the merge. Now xrp and chilliz are pushing up.

Idea behind this is that any bull run would always start with a bitc0in rally. Also, should the market dip further, one is better off in bitc0in. As we've seen, very few coyns will outperform
bitc0in in a bear market. Hence, until the market has established a trend, bitc0in is usually the safest bet
This week... matic and doge rallying beautifully...
I'm rotating more into bitc0in... I suspect it'd drive the last quarter

Bnb is the only major who has been making new ATHs against bitc0in.... Also on the cusp of breaking out against eith.

I know it's the only deflationary major and binaz is looking at converting all other stable coin trading pairs aside usd.t into busd. Asides these, is there any bullish upcoming event driving it?

P.s. I'm not in a position as I don't think market conditions favour alyts. Also, I don't like buying alts when they are in price discovery against bitc0in.
Bnb is still rallying strong. Still unfazed despite the hack.
Coins that show such strength in a bear market pique my interest.

The rapid rise to 830 and maybe eventually 1,000 or even 2,000 is because criminals, politicians, looters, kidnappers, terrorists and co are rushing to change the old Naira notes stockpiled in their hideouts to dollars before the deadline to exchange the old Naira notes. It is very artificial.

What Emefiele and co are trying to do is to make all the ill gotten, looted and stolen Naira useless to these criminals and politicians. Hence the mad rush for USD. Kenya did the same not too long ago..

N.b: it may just be part of a grand political agenda to neutralize targeted money bag opponents. Who knows?
Artificial or not, that rate has a direct effect on the livelihood of millions.

When the naira devalued to 450 against the usd, some blamed it on businesses they christened smugglers. Do you really think that folks who stockpiled billions would be affected by this move? Bank managers would personally supply them with the new currency. Alternatively, they change to USD. I wonder if the CBN gave thought to this.

All said, a currency is the representation of an economy

This present administration just want to make sure they completely ruin things before they leave office. Clearly, this is a sabotage. If I may ask, when this Current regime leaves office; can the Naira still go back to the current bank rate 490-500?
I doubt... except with redomination.
We're asking of stability now...before we start talking of appreciation.

Go to topcashback website and look for your desired merchant, check the cashbacks available from them, make a choice and go to the merchant's website from there. Topcashback will record your sale and payout your cashback when your sale if confirmed.
Also do well to read the terms of the individual cashback and also confirm the price from the merchants site independently before sealing a deal via a cashback site.

I use Quidco. They're good for making purchases you're going to make eitherway.

Passed Driving Test First Attempt.

I actually followed the advice from this forum.

Got an instructor that charged me half of normal price because I used my car to learn, tho I’m still within the 1 year limit for international drivers licence holder.

Also, I watched almost 10 different videos of about 20-25 mins long from (DGN driving school mock test).
Only the mock test nothing else from the channel.

My insurance is now around (£1.1k) for 1.6l engine diesel car, due to the the Uk licence.

Good advice from our predecessor on this forum.

Thanks for all the Good job.

Will also try to be an active participant to also help others with advices that has worked well for me or people around me.
Congrats.
I have never understood the hype around driving tests. Truth be said, it's straightforward.

I will not call her a madwoman or stupid because you don't know her plans. I did the same thing some years ago when I left my job to relocate abroad. My coworkers and friends called my idea strange because they all believed I was doing better then. I never argued with them or challenged their negative comments because I knew back then that none of them was ready to take care of my bills. The reason(s) behind my relocation moves then was to be able to improve my life, and that of my kids and help friends/family members when I am in a position to do so.

You will not believe that those who condemned my actions then are the ones bothering me today for one form of help or another.

My advice to those young folks who are planning to relocate is that living abroad doesn't make you rich, but it will allow you to live well. You will be able to enjoy those things that only the rich enjoy in Nigeria. You will be able to help your parents who help you to become the person you are today.

Man needs to make a move. Life is all about risk. You lose some, you gain some.

Do it. Japa if you can.
Same story with most....

Reason why the chap talking about migrating bank MDs evokes laughter. He should ask himself why someone savvy enough to be a bank MD would leave all the enjoyment associated with his post for the uncertainty associated with migration. It's like an everyday folk goving Dangote financial advise.

The stability of your currency is a reflection of your economy.
Your barking up the wrong tree. People flee to the dollar because they have lost confidence in the naira i.e the economy. Preaching does not save a currency. Turn the economy around and investment would flow in.
InvestmentRe: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by jedisco(m):
Regarding devaluation, always held that the 650-700 mark is a point where the average Nigerian begins to lose hope in the currency- A point if not well handled will make things spin out of control.
The government has made multiple interventions at this level over the last 3months, that's why the rapid rise to 830 is concerning but not totally unexpected.

All said, I've traded markets enough to understand the psychology behind certain numbers. When a market rallies to 8.3, it's tends to be a matter of time before it hits 10.

Perhaps, there should be a cap on the number of kids non-uk born folks can have.

Why should the fertility rate of a non-uk born mother be higher than her uk-born counterpart?

With all due respect, the IHS is peanuts compared to the actual cost of treatment (if you ever need treatment), especially for anything serious such as childbirth, an operation - some scans even cost more than the ihs. The ihs is heavily subsidised and does not reflect the actual cost to the NHS
The ihs is not peanuts. That is how insurance works. It should easily cover a chunk of the health needs of those migrating. You forget that they also pay NI (which is actually only what should be paid) and many end up working in critical sectors of the society. IHS is double taxation for anyone paying NI. We rallied against it for NHS staff and good it's come to an end.

Also, talking about 'over doing' it, the ratio of dependents to students visa is barely 1:1. Some may have kids they've left back and perhaps just came with their spouses. People are making enough sacrifices already. How many Brits would make similar sacrifices?

We need to put an end to this. It's not these hardworking migrants that strain the system.

Next they'd start questioning why migrants give birth to more kids. Maybe after giving birth, they should send their kids back. Perhaps, you'd say the number of kids migrants could have should be capped.

Stop defending nonsense.
The issue here is that Nigerians are taking advantage of the student visa route and bringing everybody in their family. The Student visa was not designed for that.

There is a housing crisis because student accomodation is supposed to house single people and not whole families. Most Nigerians coming in can not afford to pay for housing which is suitable for whole families that is the main issue.

Women are coming in heavily pregnant and giving birth for free on the NHS...can they try that one in America?

3-4 New immigrant children are being placed in schools and British born children who have parents who have paid taxes for years have to stay home.

As I said, The student visa was not designed for families but now the government is aware that Nigerians are taking the piss they will put a stop to it.

That the mentality many Nigerians have .. lol … they feel entitled because they’ve paid so much money on acquiring MSc in UK .

There’s a reason why it called “Skilled worker”

There’s a reason why many Indians you see in UK/US tech industries are on work visa direct !

If you know you are skilled enough with enough professional certifications and you are outstanding at whatever you do ..Go for it .

But if you feel that just because you paid £14,000 to study MSc in food & nutrition in one low ranking university owned by one pakistan man… ;lol…therefore the UK should give you a job and let you bring your family grin grin

My brother , you are on a long thing , your visa might even expire before your convocation self grin
Can you both just keep shut and stop insulting our intelligence?

There is ABSOLUTELY nothing wrong for someone to enrol in a masters programme with the intent of building the required resume and emigrating legally. The reason we all went to school was to access better opportunities. These are not folks with bogus asylum claims.

A masters programme is not worth separation from ones partner and kids. It is ABSOLUTELY right for any married person coming for a masters degree to come with their family if they see fit and well within their rights to seek job opportunities afterwards.

It's insulting to insinuate that someone who has abided clearly by the rules of legal immigration is trying to play the system.

This is not an issue of sham marriages and/or shady study POF. This is the whites once again showing their disdain and showing you that they can spit in your face all they want. There are two clear issues, which are valid but it is still of their own design.

.....
1. First, those on work visas contribute more than their fair share to the economy. The stagnant GDP is not due to immigration rather it's propped up by immigration. The Home office's profit from immigration is in hundreds of millions. If every UK citizen was as hardworking as the average foreign care worker, the GDP of the UK would be double. Why are an increasing number of healthcare front-line staff not UK born? Why does the nation lack HGV drivers when millions are on benefits for bogus reasons?
Reason why GDP is stagnant is cos an increasing number of home born folks rather want to live on benefits than work and contribute their fair share.

2. I see no issue with dependents coming. Folks come for expensive postgraduate study not undergrad. Anyone able to afford that from a developing nation like Nigeria would majorly either be sponsored by rich relatives or be well established. Study for what can many times be seen as 'a worthless piece of paper' by employees back home is not the reason folks should separate from their family.
The UK government can go ahead and block the route like they did in times past, folks would go elsewhere and the Home office would still backtrack like it did before.

All said, I see some of the narratives pushed as rather insulting to the contribution of hardworking folks to the nation. Take these folks away and the UK would crumble

Again, you fail to understand how some of countries were built. It was not on the back of shiny 'white collar' jobs but on hard working coal miners, rail workers e.t.c.
That is the reason why a plumber or truck (HGV) driver can earn more than some politicians. Something folks in Nigeria would struggle to understand.

The lady in that pic is a care worker not a cleaner. Irrespective, I have much more respect for her than a thieving PMB or BAT who frolics abroad on the livelihood of millions back home.

The lady who cleaned an apartment I lived in some years back drove a 2017 suv, went on holidays to nice locations at least 2x a year, had her mortgage well paid into and her kids going through UNI at no expense to her. She bothered not about expenses for her health needs which are freely served by the national service (where she was free to put in formal complaints as she saw fit). She had her pension pot accurals and worried not about her aged parents who were being housed and cared for by the government.
That is what I call enjoyment. A nation where most have a good life and a good chance at success.

Before you engage me further... understand that dignity in labour my overriding principle.
P.s... This is not advising anyone to japa... grow and establish yourself where you see fit
