davidylan:True but I doubt John was remotely close to the position Kenn finds himself in. Occasional doubt and uncertaintainy is expected, nobody's perfect, but Kenn describes himself as pretty much athiest. To me that is very different from a christian who once in a while doubts and is uncertain. And I wouldn't even use the reason that in todays climate 'christians are no different from unbelievers'. While its true it does not excuse anyone in the sight of God why they did not follow His word. The bible is available for all to read and learn and understand that the massive amounts wolves in sheeps clothing was predicted. Like Kunle suggested: KunleOshob: |
Kenn perhaps the reason you're "losing your religion" is perhaps because you've never really had it. It seems like you became a catholic/christian because its what you were raised to believe in and you never really took the time and attention to study and test what it is you really believed and more importantly why you believed it. I always say that knowledge and pursuit of God is a personal journey. Stop taking your family, the churches, friends words for who and what God and religion is and search it out for yourself. The fact that you feel "guilty" speaks of evidence to me that you have faith and believe in a God. I will not be as bold as to tell you what you should believe in, but go back to the basics, forget all you've 'learned' and study the bible by and for yourself - and ask God to give you understanding and wisdom to comprehend the word or else you'll just end up more confused. And if Kenn you're honest and genuine in your search and quest for truth and God, you'll come out with a fresh perspective and a whole new understanding of who God is and what the point of this drama called life is. I really pray you the best. |
Business is stalled in nigeria because of the dollar issue. Our Chinese clients have agreed to accept Euros that change for about 140. The dollar strain is not a Nigerian problem alone because it's worlwide. The pounds is almost the same rate as the dollar. I suspect the problem is from America b/c their citizens are no more spending and it's killing us here. Do you think the efforts of CBN to reduce the dollar will pay off since it's an international problem? When do you think this dollar famine will end? Spend spend spend America, I take chukwu abiama beg una.
lol . . . kai e don reach dis? and oh the depressed Americans are spending . . . Beer/alcohol and chocolate making companies are the few ones that reported profits recently ![]() |
DeReloaded:wisdom is beautiful thing to behold. DeReloaded: I shivered at the cold, callous heart void of compassion who uttered such a disgusting statement. In this case I 1000% support the mother and her decision to terminate . . . she is 9 yrs old for crying out loud! All those who said that "life must always be protected" should be tortured The "church" cares more about themselves and their precious laws than they do the very people they're supposed to be serving. May the judgement of God not escape those who suffer the little children. |
A-40 and Hornetstone . . . hmm I reserve my comment ![]() |
bawomolo:Abeg siddon jare . . . who would be talking about Phil Jackson if he wasn't immensely blessed to have had Jordan, Kobe and Shaq T-Mac is not and has never been a winner, no coach in the world no matter how ingenious cannot work a lazy player.
You don't have to be unnecessarily partisan! Leon Powe would not make the top 10 list for sixth man of the year it is Jason Terry's award if they don't give him then maybe Ginobili
Of what dost thou speakest? Not top 10 common now A-40 aren't we being a lil jaded here? and as for partisanship, dude I am Celtic Leprechaun Green, White, Green all day everyday! Trust me i am not moved by regular season winning streaksTrue winning streaks are not the measuring stick by which we judge playoff readiness, nevertheless, if they can carry this momentum into the postseason, SA n co will have to respect that on the court. Assists, rebounds, scoring and steals all this from a 6 ft guard are you guys kidding me? CP3 is better jareYou're right. but like Bawo pointed out by only a small margin and Deron has been injured and down for much longer than Paul this season and still has almost identical numbers - that has to count for something. |

New episodes start in April . . . I believe they were making way for American Idol |
JeSoul:Well scratch that. Celtics without five players vs. Heat http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=3965079 Rondo and Davis will be out at least 2 more games and Garnett not for at least 2 weeks, Scal is indefinitely. I'm not liking this at all. Well at least a chance for Starbury n co to get some playing time. |
TO in buffalo? we don't need bottom dwellers like the Bills feeling like they can consistently hang with the Pats in the AFC east. Wasn't there room in Detroit or Oakland? ![]() bawomolo:Hope Trent has deeper, stronger guts than Romeo ![]() |
Not so fast!! We all know the sixth man of the year is going to be Jason Terry
If the basketball gods are not feeling the economic downturn, Leon Powe will be carrying that trophy in May let the people say Amen! I am not sold-out on the Jazz just yet they have to become a better road team if they are going to make their presence felt and i still have the feeling the Lakers and the Spurs with a healthy Ginobili may be too strong for themYou're right in that the road blues are their major weakness, but I think if they keep playing at this level they can overcome it. They're playing with a lotta confidence right now. As for Deron and CP3 i think CP3 has a better all round game than Deron he is definitely a better passer and rebounder not to mention steals he just has too many facets to his game3 weeks ago I woulda agreed but I'm not so sure. CP3 is flashier and is def a steal machine but Deron has been injured and coming back now his stats are matching up with Paul pretty closely. We'll see by season's end who's looking better, but its a very close race. |
chiogo:Girl I tell you, I'm not sure what they're putting in the water over at the garden Big Baby is also out with a sprained ankle. Tony Allen must be under a curse cos every season he's been injured. I think Rondo will be back for the game on wed - thank God - I'm sure everyone now sees that you can chant the big three all you want, but without Rondo, the Celtics look slow and old and lost on the floor. |
doyin13:lol . . . common now Doyin, yanno its a "business" trip ![]() |
Bossman thanks again for all ur help, your info is priceless ![]() nich:becos it was of questionable legality right? ![]() Hey! when's ur cruise scheduled for?7 days in September. |
I am officially recognizing and nominating the Jazz as a possible threat to the Lakers out west . They have everything in place to make a run . . . except that road swagger needed to beat the big teams. and Deron Williams seems to be matching CP3 stride for stride, and he seems like a much better shooter than Paul too, I am impressed. As for the Cavs- Celtics game, once again the home team wins . . .bt the one thing that stood out like a sore thumb is how much the Cavs missed Ben Wallace's inside presence. I mean 3rd quarter I saw we were outscoring them in the paint by close to 40 pts - without KG! I thot Ben was washed up but it looks like he means more to the team than I thot. Joe Smith wasn't much of a muscle . . . Baby and Powe pretty much bullied him, mop hair Varejao and Ill-gus-gus all night. chiogo:I'm telling you Powe is the muscle that makes our bench certified bullies . Name it, he does it. Charges? check. 3pt plays? check. Offensive rebounds? check. Hussle & energy? double check. Leon Powe should be up there for 6th man of the year ![]() |
Bossman:wow what a wealth of information! thanks!! and I'd absolutely love to see pictures, I'll send u my email add. Thanks a bunch Bossman! |
Dis Guy:it worked! thank you! |
You accidentally managed to watch a gazillion horror Movies, and you accidentally couldn't keep away from even a remake! You're like some horror film afficionado. You can't help yourself.
lol . . . I'm still denying it! The Ring had been lying about my apartment for a long time. So I called a few friends over. I can't watch horror stuff alone. I tried muting the music, but everybody screamed blue murder so I had to leave it on. It wasn't so bad. Only two genuinely creepy scenes; when the girl comes out of the screen at the end. And the contents of that tape. Now I use the word 'demonic' rarely indeed. Few things qualify.Madonna's Frozen video, say. The Ring tape, which kills them after they watch it,totally qualifies. Look at those images and tell me they're not. The one that chilled me the most was the deformed, limping goat. Evil evil evil!lol yeah that only flies when you're the only one watching you should go get "Emily Rose" and watch, however I will not be held liable for any nightmares, sleepless nights, hallucinations that you might develop afterwards |
Ya'll catch the episode of Shaq vs. Stan VanGundy? Those are some of the harshest words I've heard shaq use, Gundy really pissed him off. |
@Jesoul Well when you beat Orlando and Boston on the road and add Denver to the mix its hard not to suggest that perhaps they have turned the corner, not expecting them to go the whole 9 though.
Exactly. They haven't gone the whole 9 in yrs. Which is why Dumars started to break up the team and I suspect he'll do some more shaking up this offseason . . . he did say there were no "sacred cows" in Detroit ![]() Moonstone:lol I cannot tell a lie . . . Bugs RULE! Leprechauns DROOL!The Leprechauns will stomp on & squash those bugs if you're not careful ![]() |
bawomolo:Infact I was surprised to JJ made the move. Tank Johnson is also gone. While he caused chemistry issues, its not TO's fault Romo chokes at big moments . . . now Romo has no excuse, lets see what he can do with the 'locker room under his control' ![]() Now I would pay money to see TO go to the Colts who need a WR Oakland is a black hole, success does not visit that place. |
doyin13:for real for real? or you just taking a shot at the preferred method of transportation for illegal immigrants Dis Guy: ![]() |
Hornetstone is too happy these days . . . it must have something to do with the recent resurgence of the Bugs. And to think those airheads nearly gave away the dbl dbl machine that is Tyson Chandler. |
bawomolo:Bawo you sabi dream no be small
Are we witnessing a Detroit Pistons renaissance? They shocked the Celtics at TD Banknorth
Nah I don't think so. They still have the same issues that sent them home 3 ECF in a row - minus their best player Billups. But they are definitely better without Iverson's ball-hogging, well at least better with Hamilton starting. Let us brace ourselves for the coming drama when Iverson is told to come off the bench Detroit will finally be intresting to watch ![]() |
nich:lol . . . did it involve something you don't want the police to know about? ![]() |

All Omen-traumatised kids would huddle together and discuss the horror. We didn't talk too loud or the Omen guy might hear. It was like a support group.oyb, you've seen it. Tell her. And while the effects may be dated, you know that movie can never be silly, can never not scare. It's not for children at all.
ROTFLOL . . . "support group" lol . . . What's it like being on a cruise ship for a week or so? did you get bored? seasick? I'm contemplating going on one and its coming at no cost to me so its pretty much a free 7 day cruise to the Carribean stopping at 7 or so countries like Jamaica etc . . . any experiences? advice? thots? Thanks in advance. |
Muting the music! Heyyy. Being traumatized by that movie was virtually a rite of passage for kids in the eighties! How could you have missed it? Ah please watch it o, especially that horrendous part 2. I'm not sure it'll scare as much now, but man, that movie is the most horrible thing I ever saw as a kid.
lol . . . for real! ![]() DeReloaded:"The Others" was scary . . . after finding out they were dead, I couldn't help but think it was a subtle rip off from "Sixth sense" Your def right about the "unnecessary gore" in most American so-called-scary movies. I'm not sure what made hollywood start churning out these kinds of movies on the regular . . . |
spikedcylinder:lol . . . see this girl ![]() Yea. . . . the Exorcism was something else eh? The scariest part was when she bent 180 degrees and the demons in her began to speak.
