montelik:I guess we will find out soon enough.
Nuh, he's alright.
Imma-dinner-jacket is "alright"? Dude, are you alright? ![]() What?Get a newspaper on what's happening in Somalia brother. Yup, I can see that. They don't have much power anymore, though. Racism is more subtle now. Not so much cross-burning anymore.Siddon dia. I had a conversation with 2 friends who live in the south. There are certain areas known as white-supremacist zones, that black people do not drive through. Perhaps its not as conspicuous, but best believe its alive and kicking. Girl, are you okay?Dude, you don't know what extreme black liberationists teach?
Hey Jesoul, being naive is not a bad thing. Especially for pretty girls.
lol. You haven't seen any pichsure now. How you know say I'm not shade darker than Dennis Rodman? ![]()
No, Dear Jesoul. I don't believe mrs palin wanted anybody dead. May be I'm wrong but I don't believe she wanted anybody dead. However, I'm of the opinion that she was carriedcaway by the joy of her vitriol and the power that came with it that she didn't think about the fact that there may be consequences for such vitriol. Remember, these days vitriol seems to increase rating, enhance popularity and even enrich people. Preaching peace and gentle debate doesn't win elections these days. The highest paid talk shows are those who preach toxins. Limbaugh, Beck etc. Extremes do well(right and left) they do better if they go over the edge. The right has gone overboard. Billy the clown has calmed down a bit since the assasination of Dr Tiller. I hope this Oalin woman will relax a bit as we head towards the 2012
Controversy sells. It always has. And it is we the audience that are purchasing it in ever increasing amounts - so we can't turn around and cry foul when it bites in the butt. And how come you mentioned Lim and Beck but not Stern? you think extremism exists on only one end of the spectrum? Where I diverge from your opinion is that Palin is vitriolic in her communication. I just don't see it, I'm sorry - call me naive again. You wanna see true vitriol? ask Ahmedinejad. Ask the clerics in Somalia. Ask the KKK in the deep south. Ask the Black Liberationists that want to wipe out all caucasians. That is vitriol to me. But a moose-hunting woman simply stating her albeit extreme right views does not amount to inciting her followers to violence against the opposition. A nut job is already a nut job, and would've committed whatever crime - without the "help" of Sarah Palin. Again, I think her imagery choice in hindsight was under poor judgement, but to levy grave charges of a 'vitriolic' crusade . . . I dunno. You can extend these same charges to >90% of the heads on Capitol Hill, its just that they have a smaller audience than SP.So you also think Bill Oreilly is responsible for the death of Tillman? na wa for you oh. lol. I hate that I'm defending Palin now. This was certainly not my intention at all. We should be focused on the people who've lost their lives and those still fighting now. I think these partisan glasses we're all wearing is preventing us from reacting as objectively as we should. But as Negro would say . . . what isn't colored with politics these days? |
Dulcet, I sincerely thank you for your input on the matter. And I'll repeat once more that comments (the worst) have been deleted from those threads and even this - so anyone trying to 'judge' or conclude from only what is there is making a mistake - though it may be an honest one. You cite Mazaje, he is a hardcore, out-spoken atheist who never ceases to state his opinion - yet I have never gotten one complaint about him. But anyways, if you don't mind, I kindly ask that we please move on (I only reply on this cos of your last entry). Please. DS will only continue to argue with you. I do appreciate your efforts and maturity though. Thanks! Mukina, can you please ask Seun how much he is paying us this year? ![]() |
^Hmm. Okay oh. I'm naive Pres. Sarah Palin wanted this woman dead and actively spoon-fed her followership with enough 'vitriol' to incite one of them to kill on her behalf. Is this the story you want to stick with? Happy new year to you too btw. Really. |
^bollocks? are you still smoking 1999 National enquirer newspapers Ibime? A Nationalized HC system will be forced to pay for losers like this who do not take responsibility for their own actions, but rather pass the burden onto others who work hard to keep well themselves. Come self. Did you read the dem articull? frosbel:Ibime, sweerie, its too early in 2011 to start, waay to early dude ![]() |
chiogo:My sister, it really isn't at all. I found I just got sadder if I didn't 'confront' it, so to speak. Thoughts of Bawo are invoked at the words 'chicago' 'bears' 'bulls' . . . we honor him by remembering him here and of course continuing to remind him like you did below: Man, Chicago bullshits are up there nowadays, I'm liking em a little.Lol. Bawo we miss you! |
Dulcet, you're more than welcome. On a different subject - (and sorry if I'm 'stalking' you lol), can you please input your opinion on "salvation" on Joagbaje's "assurance" thread? Thanks. |
Omofat, forgive my manners. I didn't greet you happy new year first . I hope you have been well.
@JS - Just a tinny winny bit. I Apologise for the over-reaction. I get overly emotional sometimes. Perhaps not the vilest comment, but surely not one worthy of debate (even though, sadly against my better judgement I will debate it).
In spite of how divided we all are on politics, I know the overwhelming majority of people on both sides despise this tragedy. Was the shooting politically motivated? we don't know yet, so I think its a bit premature to lay this at Sarah Palin's feet. Perhaps the imagery she uses/had used presents a bit of a problem, but still Omofat, you can't say its the same as if she pulled the trigger It takes a lot, and under extreme circumstances, for one to go beyond mere disagreements in politics/policies to want to have them killed. Maybe I'm naive, but I don't think heads on Capitol Hill are wishing death on each other. And even Sarah Palin herself who has been on the receiving end of truly the most vilest comments and threats on herself and her family. You and Prez have a point in that using such words and imagery could be seen as inciting violence, but I think that's where her 'crime' ends, poor choice of communicatory lingo. |
Why is this place quiet now? ![]()
@Jesoul Haha me I nor want trouble for both of us ooh! You know u would have to explain to Moonstone as well
Lol. Moonstone knows it was a peck on the cheek now . . . abi you're forbidden entirely? lol. Rondo has arguably been the best PG in the league to be honest!Kai! Bawo is fuming at you from above right now lol. But I like how the East is shaping up! Its looking like the tougher conference at the moment! Don't sleep on the Knicks tho. If Amare can convince Melo and perhaps Nash to come over we would be in for somethingAs a Celtic fan, I don't like that the east is so much more competitive now but as a bball fan, this is great! I hope Nash doesn't switch conferences . . . the ship is already one-sided as it is, and we need someone to challenge and put the Lakers out of their 'misery' .BTW Van Gundy wants people to stop giving Hakeem credit for Dwight's new improved offense. What's your take?Don't mind the guy jare. So who should we give credit? Van gundy himself? lol. Me thinks he's just jealous he's not the one getting the praise. Anytime they cut to him during the game while the team is in the huddle, I cringe at the horse-ish, cymbal-ish, piercing sound of his voice . . . how can that motivate anyone? it makes me want to get ear plugs more than anything else. |
^has Obinna made up his mind yet? Looks like we're gonna do 300. Where's that yeye President to update the title and movie info? |
and oh, it'll def be much harder for the SeaHawks now that they'll be on the road in a very hostile Soldiers Field. And I hope the Steelers hold home court against the Ravens . . . the Pats are the Steelers baby daddy ![]() |
ogajim:1000 & 1 amens to that! but OgaJim, no jinx us oh! . . . The Pats have been on both the receiving and giving end of upsets. I just want someone to put a dirty smelly sock in Rex Ryan's big mouth. |
^there is small history isale. Omofat, don't you think you're over-reacting a bit there? |
^thanks Montelik. |
DS, my buddy, thank you for your comment. I have noted it. Mudley, for the last time, you were one of 4 people banned. Theirs was shorter because they have not been in as much trouble as you. This is my final comment on this issue. |
Reptyle, why the need for a new topic? Please continue on one of the these two threads. Put your comments in bold if you want it to catch pples attention. Thanks. A 9yr old girl shot and killed. The part that breaks my heart the most. I hope the others pull thru IC. Why is the shooter still alive? If he had shot a cop he probably would not be still alive by now. |
So Rex Ryan gets his revenge after all that Manning has put him through Where is Rikkyjen? I have a new name for his team! The Oneanddoneopolis Colts! But I feel your pain that was a frustrating way to go out! I guess the Saints jinxed yall Not looking good for the Eagles right now! At least I get one prediction right
lol. Mehn seriously. I discovered on saturday that I do not dislike the Colts as much as I thought or I despise the Jets far more than I thought And that was probably the WORST game I have watched the Eagles play this season . . . how you save your worst for last? so many mistakes, dropped balls, missed FGs, thrown away opportunities, out of bounds on 2-pt conversion, penalties what tha heck? The Eagles defense was simply atrocious. Allowing a rookie RB to make you look like santa claus handing out 1st downs like candy. Very disappointing. Anyways . . . On to the Conf Semis. If the Pats do not demolish the Jets . . . hmmm . . . I comment my reserve for now. |
Dulcet, I'm glad I gave you a salute earlier in the thread for your input on an entirely different matter - so that my acknowledgement here will not seem borne only out of what you just posted. But I thank you for your wisdom and levelheadedness. Really. Permit me to highlight points that I was hoping should be obvious to all: Dulcet7:Such wisdom have I not seen in this section in a long time. Dulcet, I sincerely thank you sir. |
Deepsight, I am thoroughly disappointed by your premature comments. You do not even have half of the story but yet jumped in head first to comment. If I am your "buddy", then you would've known your comments are severely misplaced. I am really disappointed. Mudley, should I re-post you last comment on this thread? the one that I deleted before anyone had a chance to read? where you took a piss on the mods? and told us to F-off? and other insults? Religion section members, I make this comment only for your benefit. The only person that has ever accused me of wrongdoing is Mudley, the ONLY PERSON - a known trouble maker that has been banned countless times by Mukina. I've received complaints from not only christians on him - this alone should speak volumes. What many of you do not see are comments that are deleted and the obvious track-record of recurrent trouble posters. These factor a long way in decisions that are made. I would hope that my history here as a regular poster & mod has earned me some benefit-of-doubt from premature judgements such as DS has exhibited. Nevertheless, issall good. Aletheia, Happy New Year oh! Rhino, I will email you in the not too distant future. I need to clarify a few things on my end. Thanks!! |
^Disgrace unavoided. Kai! Just like that the saints r gone. This is why one can never write any team off. I hope the Pats r taking notes. We cannot think becos your the fav you'll win. Eya sorry Jaguar n Moonstone n other saints fans. |
Wow. Going for it at 4th n 1 on ur own 38yd line? Esp wit how limpish u've been playing? Smh |
^hehe, na real ropes. They're playing with absolutely zero desire. Seattle is high on emotion n the home crowd. At this rate, 'who dat' will be 'who what?!?!'. This is why the game is played. Why should the defending champs be struggling with the worst team to ever make the playoffs? Its not over yet sha . . . |
I don't hang around the auto section much, but I do know from the little I've seen that Siena is indeed THE BEST. Such an awesome and cool guy. Congrats sir! ![]() |
190:There's problem in Zimbabwe and you're reporting in Southafrica. J/K. I'm sure Mukina will sort it out for ya. |
Rhino, Thanks! I'll get at you soon. Dulcet, I just wanted to say I read your entry on religion in general on Ileke's "grace" thread and wanted to say thanks for sharing that. Godbless. |
^Oga don't crown us yet oh . . . the way people dey talk say Pats sare invincible . . . you're jinxing us oh! lol. Like play like play they'll lose next weekend - God forbid bad thing. Our defense is good but they haven't faced the playoffs yet so we're still very much vulnerable. The NFC could suprise us. Remember the Cards few SBs ago making it all the way after limping into the postseason. The record is 0-0 now, everyone's got a shot . . . uhm, except the Seahawks who do not even belong there. |
chic2pimp: na so we see am oh! lol. A belated Happy new year btw.Right back at you sir ![]() and oh btw, did you guys the yab wey Mark Cuban yab Phil Jackson? Jackson talk say "Mavs go miss Butler, he's a solid player" . . . Cuban vex say Phil dey comment on his team, the guy come say "I love that Jeanie Buss' boy-toy had something to say about us," Cuban said while sweating on the stair-stepping machine in the Mavs' workout room. "I don't know if it was his thought or Jeanie's thought, but it's nice to know that she lets him speak in public about other teams." kai! that was uncalled for. But Jackson, why are you self mixing business with pleasure? almost always nothing good comes out of it. In other related news, word has it Ron Artest is beefing with Phil Jackson . . . some of us have been saying no one should trust that schizo. |
We dey oh my brother. Welcome to tha chaos there are no rules here. Feel free to jump ship whenever you like ![]() ogajim:One can't really fault your picks . . . but ehn those GreenBay Packers might upset the Eagles. The problem is Vick needs to play cavalier for them win, the other problem is if Vick plays cavalier, he can make costly mistakes. Does anybody know if there's a way both the Jets and Colts can lose this weekend? ![]() |
