ogajim:Yup, you already know. Boston is where its at we have been spoiled with Brady, Belichick and Kraft at the helm. Hope in 20yrs me too I won't be crying lol. But you guys are in arguably the toughest NFL division . . . one can't really be upset considering u have to tussle with the Giants Eagles and Cowboys. But sha lemme stop off-topicking here before someone chatises me. See u over there . . . These single digiters aren't fooling no one but themselves, it smacks of desperation. Its amazing how they always file out on tithing topics. It's like someone put in a tracking code to churn them out by the tens as soon as tithe is mentioned. Na wa oh. |
Ukman and Justwise, wetin now? aren't you guys "interestine"? ![]() |
ogajim:Kai! Redskins fan? you own don finish Sorry the McNabb exp did not work out at all at all. And with Rex Grossman at the helm . . . well, lemme just close my eyes and say a prayer for you ![]() seyizee:Another single-digiter brandishing Malachi 3:10 as a weapon unto forced money submission. Next please. |
^and the zombies will never stop giving flimsy excuses on their behalf. Imagine some were saying after the thing collapsed that just because he cheated on his wife doesn't mean God wasn't working thru him he was double-dipping while he was conducting the so-called revival but they didn't see a problem with that. Then divorced his wife after cheating on her, married again in less than a year to another woman - yet 'christian' leadership were still supporting him. Honestly, two-faced twats like these are a disgrace and shame to the name of Christianity. Like Nuclearboy will say "judgement is coming". |
ogajim: If not for say I am one of Vick's biggest fan I for hussle you big time. But common, Brady is playing like an "extra-terrestial", you no fit deny that one. Come self, you def watch NFL? why u no visit us here now? https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-170354.2336.html#msg7474820 |
agabaI23:Lol. correct guy. You shouldn't have even given them anything self.I witnessed one useless man of a so-called pastor call for offerings, and he had the unreserved audacity and shamelessness to place himself in God's position by declaring he did not want any offerings that were less than $100 |
Inasmuch as it seems its every church that operates like this, I want to encourage Christians that there are still some houses of God that have not sold themselves for money. Here's a cut-out from the website of a church about giving to them online . . . how many pastors can say this on their pulpit?
|
agabaI23:Wow even catholic churches too? the virus is spreading to every denomination. |
^If I am 'biased' against you, you have no one to blame but yourself. You've been nothing but a nuisance since you came here, consistently the only one ppl are always complaining about. I doubt you've used the 'report to mod' link before as I've never gotten a complaint from you. Besides, you know you could always come to this thread like others do to complain but you didn't, and you're now claiming I ignore you. Does MMW also ignore you? Mukina as well? You're grasping at straws dude. You were not the only one banned, mods are biased right? continue to play the victim card as always. This is the last I'll say on this matter as I have neither the time nor patience for childish games. ps. you are on a ban. stay there. Any more posts from you will be deleted and the new username banned. okay I said no more comments, I chatise myself. |
Dam British metrics how many Pounds is 1 Stone? lol.But on a serious note, this man is poster child for the worst of National Healthcare System. I know it is a strong word, but I truly despise people who do not take responsibility for themselves and their own actions, but rather continue to blame someone else - McDonalds, the Doctors, the Dietician, the Mechanic. This is what I would HATE about a nationalized HC system. No one, not one single tax payer should have to pay a dime to 'help' this loser. It is just flat out wrong. Mr Smith takes excellent care of himself but has to cut into his pocket to pay for someone who won't? This is as wrong as it gets. |
iseg007:ROTFLOL that's just wrong dude lol. |
This fraud I always have very negative thots whenever his name is mentioned. During that whole lakeland nonsense, a friend of ours was there and heavily involved in the 'revival'. She would call us and tell us of the 'amazing' things God was doing thru this man. We tried our very best to dissuade her, showed her signs and indications that he was a fraud, we argued sotay . . . - but she would not listen and eventually stopped talking us. And then bam, the whole thing fell apart and we were proven right. The damage was already done though, the friendship has never quite been the same. Men like this Todd Bentley . . . the personification of the anti-christ. |
Rhino! I miss you boy. Happy new year. I hope you've been well? I'd like your email please. I may be interested in your animation services/skills. Do you have a website? Thanks! Uyi, thank you too. I know its not all bad, as I even saw your "ID" thread with a friendly word for Mudley. E-fights while great for viewership and traffic, do 'us' no good in the big picture. But yet, issall good sir. We must learn to walk away and put on 'ignore' things/pple that may offend us - both online and in real life. |
@e36691, lol. I like that. 2 yellow cards and you're off Inesqor, my dear friend, thank you for all you said. And as always, no problem at all ehn Some religion section members may remember a certain chap by the name of Huxley. He was the same as Mudley if not worse. After a while all we did was ignore him. He opened countless threads everyday that simply fell off with no replies. With time, he got tired and left. I was hoping the same for Mudley, and not having to resort to bans because this gives him some kind of satisfaction he's "gotten to them". But nevertheless, come back and be the Inesqor we all know and love okay .aletheia, happy new year sir! your surgical posts have been missed. I hope all is well with you and the family. |
oh e36691, I just noticed what you're refering to. Sorry jor. Notice I put the "insults" in quotation? I meant to add your 'observatory post' as a so-called 'insult'. I will fix it. |
^ lol my dear brother, you always know how to make me laugh. Issall good jare. I was just trying to make a point, and I hope it was made. Let us stop casting our peals before swine. The door is fine jare, I just checked it ![]() Toba, no problem at all oh. I was just making a correction I think he just misunderstood my position - not out of bad belle or on purpose. And also pointing out christians too have contributed to the wahala. If they just left Mudley alone, 90% of the drama would not occur. |
Image, snr brother, I think Jenwitemi is asking a very very important question that cuts at the heart of this thread: Jenwitemi:While matters pertaining to the christian faith are obviously rooted in spirituality, many, if not all of the directives we see are also for practical purposes - not just for the heck of it so to speak. Jenwitemi, to answer your question, women covering their heads in church was very important to the Corinthian church because women who didn't cover their heads/had short hair in that culture were typically pros.titutes, pagan worshippers or trouble makers. And this was causing problems in the church (note the context of Paul when he brings up the issue is on "order in the church" . So Paul's advice to cover their heads was in an effort to get the christian women to distinguish and seperate themselves from the "world" - not necessarily because covering ones head has any real "spiritual value/significance" to God. We know this to be true because if a hard-core sinner woman covers her head in church, it does not make her any less of a sinner and vice versa. Its the heart and the purpose and spirit behind the act - NOT the act itself that God is truly interested in.And also through this seperation of themselves, the women showed they were honoring their husbands by presenting a godly picture that was glorifying to God - thereby being submissive, to not just their husbands, but inevitably to God the almighty. This is the problem many people - christian and non-christian alike get hung up over - the letter of the law - instead of the spirit and purpose behind it. If Paul were in a 21st century church, he might advice women not to wear 6-inch heels or profusely use eyeliner and shadow, or wear skin-tights under short mini skirts - because this is what characterizes women of the world and causes distractions in church and Paul was saying christian women should look and act differently - to the glory of God, and honor of their husbands. Covering of head is absolutely no big deal in most cultures, in others it is. All in all, christian women should work within what is appropriate for the time and dispensation they're in - to the glory of God - and not just ritualistically follow commands that was for a specific church and time 1000s of yrs ago. I hope the above makes sense ehn. Godbless. |
Rikkygenerator, oga no vex I no get back to ur last holla . . . na circumstance then wey freeze my brain. But I do hope you're well and bringing in that cheese and making that name shine. Fill me in when you get a second aight?
I am not a Patriots fan but Tom Brady has to be MVP! He is playing extra terrestrial football! My sentiments for Vick aside 36TD's and 4 INT's is no joke. Anyways its on this weekend Saints vs Seahawks, Packers vs Eagles,Chiefs vs Ravens and Jets vs Colts which would be my pick of the bunch. I fancy Saints,Packers,Ravens and the Colts to advance! I may be wrong though
I'm torn. Jets Vs. Colts. The two most NE hated teams going against each other. I hope they play for 50quarters and lots of injuries yes I have serious bad belle. And 40-dude, Brady for MVP is on point. It's not even close, though I won't mind one bit if M.Vick were to get it. What a great story. So who is going to adopt Bawo's bears? |
Re: Is Golf For Big Boys Only? Lol. My brother it is not. The Donald Trump golf course is one of the most, if not the most expensive to play at - simply because it belongs to Trump - but moreso because of the calibre of clientele they entertain - they cannot let JayZ play on the same course as Jesoul lol. Its celebrity so by default its exclusive and expensive. Now . . . is golf affordable for the everyday man to play? I say yes. First of all you'll need to locate a good-decent golf course - Actually you'll need to start with a golf-range (long space for simply hitting balls), where you can just work on your swing/range before you go to an actual golf course. The most costly is getting golf clubs. If you go for a decent brand you can get a good set for about $200. It's the pros and celebs that get $5000 golf sets - you don't need that to become a good golfer. Start from step one and work your way up - you never know. And don't refer to yourself as "ordinary boy" . . . everybody starts from somewhere now .Goodluck! |
Justwise and Dante, thank you both for your points as you've given voice to another side of the story that may not otherwise be heard - though I still think its a very small minority who actually go through that . It does take 2 to tango, and more often than not, one side does not shine their eye wide enough until blank hits the fan and things fall apart.Delta, Delta007:This is fantastic advice! and I hope Leah is able to follow up on this. It would do a lot to discourage these kind of practices and clean up the Nigerian/african name and prevent other innocents from falling prey to this kind of similar situation. |
@Jesoul Happy new year ma'am I am still waiting for the permit ooh!
lol. He refused to issue it . . . *cough cough* I mean I did not ask for one. You want the guy to erupt? lol As for the Mavs Caron Butler is out for the season! O kpari! By the way you guys handled the Spurs pretty well Ray Allen was smoking! I also think yall should not sleep on the Magic they seem to be back on track! Getting Turkoglu back was huge! And that's really terrible. I was eager to see what a complete Mavs team can do in the playoffs. That's a real set-back, and hopefully, Cuban can make a trade to plug the hole. men, you see Rondo playing like a possessed man last night? if only Bawo were hear to enjoy it And Miami is officially starting to scare me . . . they've won 19 our of the last 20 ![]() |
MMW, you misrepresented me and I just want to clear things up. -Mudley opens a thread (and subsequent posts) pretty much insulting the Christian faith (call it satire if you want). -The only "insult" levied against him was by Inesqor and e36991 InesQor: e36991:-Mudley next post is to cry wolf and claim persecution: Mudley313:-and the thread goes downhill from there ^^^ this is how Mudley plays the victim card. You open a thread that is insulting, don't you think is incendiary? and provokes bad responses from others? does he expect people to come and pat him on the back? Some of his threads may be "offensive" to christians but within forum rules - but does common sense not teach one to be resfectful of others? Mudley is NOT the only atheist in this section - yet he is the only one people are always complaining about. Is this a coincidence? bias? And at the same time I keep telling the christians to LEAVE HIM ALONE. Yet they refuse. It's a two way street, and it takes two to fight. Let this be a warning to everyone. 2011 will come with swift bans for all those - christians & atheist alike - who have no manners and cannot respect others and stay within forum rules. I'm locking this thread for obvious reasons. Any complaints, forward to Mukina. Slams door. |
^I asked that no more personal anything be made. You decided otherwise. I'm sure you know what's coming next. A complaint was made by several people, hence I took the time to go thru the thread (thanks for wasting my time to read thru all the nonsense btw) . . . Progression of insults - InesQor: Mudley313: Mudley313: Uyi Iredia:etc etc etc . . . and I know MMW already deleted some posts. It's true Inesqor threw the first punch, but Mudley returning with a greater insult to his father is uncalled for. I am locking this thread. Bans will be assessed. If anyone has any questions or comments, go to the Moderator thread and post there. And a personal note as a christian to my fellow christians - I am disappointed you patronise threads like these that insult and ridicule your faith. If a topic is meant as a jab, please WALK AWAY. Leave atheists to rant to themselves. You do not have to reply to Mudley's threads, please leave him alone to post and rant. You continue to encourage this kind of behavior by showing up and lending credence where none is deserved. I am very disappointed. |
justwise:You have a point there is a shame factor that may prevent some men from coming out with their stories . . . however, it will take a ton of overwhelming evidence to convince that this is no more than a very small minority. You also have a point we have only heard one side of the story . . . but why is it that usually the marriage breaks down right after the man (or woman in rarer cases) gets their green card or papers? I'm usually on the side of "lets hear both sides of the story", but I've seen too many cases of women getting ditched after their african husbands get what they wanted from them. I've even heard friends tell me their parents/older relatives are advising them to get married for papers and then leave. For the most part there is no other option other than GC marriage for most african immigrants out of status to remain in the country. Its a terrible blight on our name and it makes me feel so bad for the unsuspecting westerner who's been tricked into it, especially when there are children involved. |
toba:Here's a tutorial on how to embed videos: https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-505782.32.html#msg6714232 Make sure its on the topic of the thread oh and Toba, no worries, MMW has shown he's a solid mod now. I've seen him delete both christian and atheist posts. The guy is trying now . . . show him some love now ![]() |
Massive Congrats Justwise! You're truly the enforcer of the Travel Section and the scammers worst nightmare ![]() |
Oga Jo, how you dey? Happy new year oh. I want to apologize for not being able to finish what I started with the "interview thread". If you're willing, I'd like to continue at some point soon on a new thread. Thanks! |
Fellas, please no more personal jabs, insults or name-calling - any future posts off-topic will be deleted. Please get back to the topic and try to be respectful of one another. And fellow christians, please be easy on our brother MMW. It's not easy modding you know. Thanks and happy new year to you all. |
Toba, how bodi now? Happy new year oh and hope say that earlier sickness is completely gone ehn.Ejo, easy on MMW. lol. It's not easy modding and making everyone happy. As per your question, scroll to the top of the page, there should be a link that says "Remove vote". Click and you should be able to vote again. |
ooh congrats Medjai! Happy Sports Posting in 2011.@SemiD, lol. You would've been right except that A-40 is just sucha great guy. Such that him winning, is also me winning ![]() |
VALIDATOR:I was waiting for someone to make that very important point in addition to the others. While this does not exonerate the students or school management from their respective crimes, what motivation is there for the average youth to want to go to school, apply him/herself, study hard, excel at exams - when you know unemployment is waiting for you with your 1st class degree? For the most part, the Nigerian system does not reward or recognize academic acheivement borne from hard work - and we're seeing the result reflected all around us. |
