Giddyperson:
I'm sure when I take some at the PHC the money will reduce . 30k for injection The nurse at the PHC told me that only oral vitamin A is administered during 12 months immunization. So, all others will be taken at a private clinic. Save that 30k for that one. |

Giddyperson: Please who paid for 9 month immunization, how much does it cost. You people should stop doing clique and answer me kwanu. There is so much favoritism in this group. That's how enque and jazzyjazz and graciouscharis are going about answering every body's questions and skipping my own, even hunniesuzzie and sansa143 are ignoring me, even Zaynie saw my question and decided to stop answering and go back to school, It is this kind of nepotism that is killing Nigeria today, man know man, people like us that don't have anybody, how are we going to survive on this thread. Chanbaby used to answer me in the past but ever since she got pregnant her replies on this thread have become sporadic. Enque it is like you are keeping everybody hungry with this your diet that's why nobody has energy to answer my question. In fact I'm tired of giving excuses for you people. Somebody Biko answer me because tomorrow is Saturday.
Also does the 9 months immunization come with fever and all the drama Me I can't laugh...you haf landed with your drama. when you were very busy with work in that your office and you abandoned everybody here...you didn't know abi? wait till all those that you mentioned come with cane just for you. We took 9Months immunisation last week and there wasn't any drama. just cry cry as the syringe poked his arm. I gave him pcm immediately sha. We took at the PHC so I've no idea about cost at private clinics. oya smile |

booqee: These oyinbo people will not kill somebody.
I stumbled on a youtube video uploaded by babycenter on how to bath a newborn.
It says you shouldn't bath a baby more than once or twice a week. I also noticed the midwife didn't use soap, only a wash cloth to clean the baby in the tub with warm water and just shampoo for the baby's hair. It says it is absolutely not necessary to use soap on a baby, but if you must, use a very mild soap.
I was even shocked that most of the commenters found nothing wrong in it..like its normal to them. One commenter even said bathing them more than twice a week can cause skin dryness and allergies early in life.. (duhhh!!)
These people are dirty IMHO! Gaddemit My sister experienced this some weeks ago not until she gave her baby an African baby scrub after 4 days of oyinbo rub and shine ..lol before the baby had a very goooood sleep. |

If you try to put anything in his mouth, he opens up sharply That was how my ds used to show eagerness at 4months and I was happy he will readily accept cereals when 6months reach....Na lie we are 9Months now and I have to twist and turn to be able to put food in his mouth. |

jazzyjazz: It's my son's first birthday tomorrow and I'm nervous as hell! Coupled with the fact that I'm not fully recovered yet and this economy is not smiling I asked a friend to make cake for me only to hear 15,500 as cost of the cake. Hmmmm
This is not how I imagined it in my head.
It is well Go to the mall and get the characters stickers that you want for Ilan. Attach a skewer/bamboo stick and place it on a buttercream cake. |

Cc:enque, hunniesuzie, zaynie The result you will get from using this won't be really smooth except for very soft foods like avocado. have you tried using the mill/grinder that came with your blender. its perfect for pureed foods too. |

Don't indulge any negative emotion. It is quite easy to feed it with all sorts especially if you have the ability to easily create imaginary characters in your head. STOP that movie production in your head before it consumes your energy and saps you of joy.
There's no circumstance/temptation that comes to man that cannot be overcome.it's only a matter of time provided you allow yourself to take the right decisions per time.
Don't allow depression/hurt/resentment/bitterness/sadness/guilt to get hold of you. Just take one day at a time with a conscious intent of being joyful no matter what. keep your sanity for everything you hold dear. Get back to loving YOU despite everything that has happened.
Please seek professional help if you find it difficult to handle this alone. I'm quite sure there will be some kind of therapy that will help you through this.
I pray for the holy spirit to comfort you, give you strength and bring you to your place of enlargement. If God be for you, no one can be against you except YOU.
cheer up sis.

keeki: goodevening mamas.pls I need help oohh.some mama friends adviced me to give this drug to my baby to prevent teething wahala.how safe is it and does it really work? I can assure you that there's no need for the teething medicine. teething is a normal physiological process in growing babies. If at all you need anything, just have your pcm handy. If you have been on this thread long enough, you will know that a lot of symptoms we often associate with teething turns out to be another illness affecting the baby. don't fear and stay calm mama. |

spiceeamiee: Abeg why is 2kg of Tom Brown almost 30k? Hian!
Giddyperson, why don't you try the ogi method? The only thing that is fried is the soybeans. The millet, corn and guinea corn are soaked together and grounded then sieved like the normal ogi. That's the easiest method I could find after asking around.
@queensnow if I am using unripe plantain flour, at what point do i put it? Is it after I make it like ogi? That is also the point I put the soyabean powder and milled groundnuts abi? almost 30k ke? I just went through the prices on the written ad again sef. I was just happy to share the link when I found it cos of mamas looking for it in the stores. at wholesale, she's selling a pack of 12(2kg) @28,800 which means a single container of 2kg costs 2,400. While the retail price as shown in the weblink is 2,500. Akorkor, pls what is the size of the one you bought from Ghana at 1250 do you think it's still expensive like dat considering the ingredients can easily be sourced locally? Cc:gigy |

Akorkor: The tom brown picture i snapped here, i got it from Accra. The price is 15Ghc which is like 1250 naira. Maybe i should start Tom Brown Business sef. @Giddyperson,JGracious you go buy? if the price and quantity is reasonable, if Lo likes it after first trial, why not? Lol...I'm not a fan of Tombrown sef with all the fry dis, fry dat in the recipe. I yam a lazy geh sometimes it's just milled roasted corn+orisirisi and I equate that to fortified ogi which I'm accustomed to. Some mamas here have been searching for it in the stores sha @gigy and spiceeamiee. you may wish to bail them out for a fee and then expand the business. |

Hmm, thank you all and God bless you massively. Y'all make it sound so simple. And each advice I read is just making me more angry. I mean, it should be THAT simple! How did I get into this mess? My sister, thinking she was helping, went to complicate things by telling the guy to go into the room and freshen up last night o. And that was how the guy just packed his bags in and spent the night there. Then, my husband sent my sister to our room to sleep there and I sent her out so she slept in the sitting room. Now, I don't know who I'm more angry at. Myself for allowing all these, my husband for putting me in this position or my sister for being too forward? I've told this man repeatedly! Let's not start what we cannot continue. Now, how do I tell someone that slept in the room last night that he will be sleeping in the living room henceforth. I'm just tired. I'm this close to misbehaving and showing my true character o. Don't be angry ummmh...calm down if I were to be in your shoes, I will let my hubby know that I yam vexing gidigan. I'll request that he tells me how he wants the new guest handled...plenty times husbands will take an irrational decision and then expect madam to figure the workability out....ko jorara i believe with the meeting, you will both have the chance to iron the issue at hand and for subsequent similar scenarios. very annoying somchin |
