But do you know how easy it is for some married women to easily push their husbands into polygamy. Many single ladies (mistresses-to-be) out there wish to have at least a taste of what they (wives) 'presumably enjoy or at most,a companion, someone who could make them happy. Polygamy isn't ideal, but I bet you most men find themselves in such a scenario in circumstances they never prepared for. Life is sweet with women, yet could be very distasteful when they manifest their ugly side. I would say,if your mistress(es) ends up having baby(ies) for you, take your kid(s) but let them be. For me,father of many is safer than husband of many. |
I don't know if the Minister should be saying such or not. But what he said is not far from truth! Take this comparison listed below: GDP: S/A is a member nation of BRICS while Nigeria is nowhere near that standard yet. Energy: S/A generates 50,000MW of electricity while Nigeria's 4,500MW! Fuels: S/A exports refined pet. products while Nigeria imports refined products. Forces: S/A armed forces basic equipment (guns, ammo, boats, helicopters, tanks, electronic gadgets) are produced locally by Armscor while Nigerian army still use AK-47. Manufacturing: S/A's industrial output is rated by CIA.org as almost twice d entire African continent including Nigeria. Investment: J'burg Stock Exchange (JSE) is more capitalized than the rest of subsaharan Africa combined. Banking: S/A's top two banks; Standard & 1st Rand are bigger than the entire Nigerian banking industry in terms of capital base, reach, turnover & profits. Our StanbicIBTC is owned by Standard. Brand presence: across Africa, S/A brands have impressive presence (dstv multichoice, shoprite, telcom, eskom, vodacom, mtn, stanbic, protea, kickoff etc). Same cannot be said of so many Nigerian brands. Thou kudos to Dangote, 1st Bank & few that are trying. Sadly, it's tough without the backing of a strong government. This stats above tell me who is big brother to who. Besides Nigerians chase S/A visa about & I don't see any S/African pushing for a Nigerian visa.
A resounding Gbam!!! But will those bunch of rogues in government read this and think? For where ?? |
Kenyanstar: I am sorry to break your heart guys. South africa is BIG in every way. Be it big brother, big economy, big investment, big money, big infrastructure and even big yanshDude, spot on.Guys, u need to pay at least 2 weeks visit. You go wan sponsor coup for naija.what ignited my anger more,is the fact many of naijas corrupt government officials get PROPERTIES in SA in choice areas. Itseke women no fit contest am walai. |
k2039: This is pure common sense, that if someone sends a list of names or pictures to a pastor, all you are saying is pastor, who is the best match out of the whole list, what that means is the best husband on the list, and that doesnt equate to your best husband in the world. That way they have narrowed God down to choose out of their list.Help me out on this one, besides Adam whom God chose eve for, could you point me any other bible character God chose a wife for? Thanks |

i no just like MTN at all.even in SA,they are rip offs.As per airtel..hmmmmmm what are Nigerians to expect when indians have virtually taken over most,if not all of the management positions. |
http://www.sunnewsonline.com/article/uk-trip-oyo-indigenes-london-harass-lawmakers%E2%80%99-wives I was not only impressed by my country men's boldness and public stand, demonstrated against wastage of financial resources by public office holders and their households. But likewise encouraged, that soon, a massive outcry of Nigerian citizens againts their corrupt leaders and their accomplices, shall receive a worldwide media coverage and a POSSIBILITY of the much desired positive change in Nigerian governance shall come to pass. I look forward to a South African version. |
Fellow countrymen in South Africa, read and be vigilant. These uncircumcized south africans have started yet again. This time around its starting from Western cape. Watch out and be prepared.Inform others please. timeslive.co.za/thetimes/2012/07/13/sa-edges-closer-to-xenophobic-flare-up |
Mafamafa: Where do u stay in south Africa, I stayed in Pretoria for ten years, a professional and not on the street, there has been no proper justice system in the country all through and I only left SA last year, if he goes to the police station he will be arrested, I promise u.... An incidence happened between me and a doctor friend, a taxi picked us from hatfield to sunny side and lied that our bill was 100r rather than 50r, we went to the police that night and my friend had to sleep in the cell cos we don't speak Zulu....... He better shout out on platforms like NL, south Africa treat Nigerian like dogs, check the issue of Nigeria pro wrongfully accused, the govt never did anything to it......Mr broda. You made a point but you see,if your friend still have valid papers and proper permit,he is within his rights to engage a lawyer and sue the cab driver, the police officer who got him locked up and indict the police station as well.Believe me sir,I've seen cases here where wrongful detention have made them (SAPS) pay heavy damages(hundred of thousands of rands) to Nigerian victims...right here in kempton park. |
Maybe my version will be easier to understand. A Man (Human) is A Soul. He exists and is sensed on Earth among the living cos he have A Body. You can't exist as a Man on earth, among the living, without a Human Body. The controlling factor, which directs his acts, thoughts etc is via an External Driving Force....I.e Spirit which could be Good or Bad. The mans body could be habited or co-habited by Spiritual elements and entities. While his Soul could also be made subject to these entities. |
Fellow countrymen,Please calm down. When I saw this story on NL this morning,I was like WTF And I concur with henrychubayos post. No matter what,as long as the dude was not hindered from free movement,he should report the case at a police station, but first at the Nigerian High Commission in Joburg.I have and am still driving on SA roads and have been stopped for driving particulars (good thing the company uses car rentals). There is no denying that SAP and Metro Cops are as corrupt as Officers of NPF. Anything for R10-R20.However whenever I'm stopped for drivers license,I calmly give them my international drivers license I got from lagos while I also address officers as 'sir or Maam'. They made comments to my face about Nigerians and how "funny" they are (guess u know the funny indicate negative remark) but I simply smile and respond calmly, again with a sir or maam.(Their women in uniform can shout at men ANYHOW,foreign or local) Please,be prayerful always. Also,be humble in responding to questions from foreign authorities. If they don't ask, don't answer or go into stories. If asked any question, give curt response and politely. Again,no stories. Dem no too like english grammar sef. I'm sorry for my countryman whose travel document was torn. However if he still want to come home,He should simply collect a T.C (travel certificate) at our consular and case is settled while investigations goes on regarding the SA cop misdemeanour. Hopefully,if his name or number tag could be recollected, the officer will be in for questioning. As notorious as SA could be,The media are doing very well in exposing BAD cops with facts and prosecutions follows. Whether white, colored or black. Peace!!!. |
What are Nigerian Civil Servants(From Federal down to Local Government levels) good for ?? LOOTING.!!! |
esere826: 22e)STILL ON TOKPEEsere...Seun suppose engage you as a mod walai. If only you know d kain traffic wey your write dey generate...plus including me.I dey sama d well composed english, with a touch of panache. SamAfrik: My point is, be positive whenever you are entering a relationship, regardless of the age and prevailing circumstances. Reminds me of a popular saying; "may I not treat my future husband as ordinary boyfriend". My hearts bleeds each time I see 'balanced' bachelor getting married to non-Nigerians while our sisters are remaining single @ home (Nigeria)hence no child, no family, impaired life fulfilment. And these countries (beneficiaries) still see and clasify ALL Nigerians as rogues and criminals.Correct!!! |
Tgirl4real: You wear more make-up than clothes. And this came from a lady.....Clap clap clap clap clap clap clap clap clap clap......... |
That over-confidence in the face of relevant safety may have been the cause of this crash. Following safety procedure has to be 100% though it may look boring. Even if he can fly a faulty train, he SHOULD NOT fly it with people on board. It is irresponsible
Well buddy, looking from a moral point of view, you seem right. But from what I've read about pilot and flight training, you can land a plane even with a one functional engine. |
Yea.The jobs were created on paper and in the next budget.Bastards. |
cube63: Depending on the type of car, i drive a brand new R300,000 car here. (N6 Million) Hyundai Elantra 2012, well it's not an achievement but any day anytime you can trade in your car from where you both it for just maybe 10% off the original price maybe all depends on the mileage.Kai that Elanra 2012 enter my eye anytime I see am for midrand.d car sleek no be small.but ol boy sofry sofry o.Haters plenty for SA seeing naija guys dey cruise sleek machine |
chimithen: This is where you see the Pharisees coming up with suggestions and ideas that are irrelevant but these same people are the group who will castigate the same person if he/she comes back home without a single dime. Don't you think if these issues pop up, we should lash the leaders(senators and president) some strokes of cane for allowing well meaning Nigerians leave a country because of their lackadaisical attitude towards taking drastic decisions that will turn the youths to favor their country from any region of the world.Guy,no be only by crime person fit survive abroad. If other "well meaning Nigerians can make a headway,at least a headway in life, why couldn't he?.Na greed and desperation dey push worry us abroad to go into crimes.shikena!. |
esere826: 18 ) LOOK INTO THE MIRROR: What do the recruiters see? This is still about appearance, but how it relates to your CV. Ignoring your actual age, if you look like, and present your CV like you are in your 30's the recruiter would expect to see someone just like that with an amount of experience and pay rate that goes with that age bracket in many instances. Once more, I've stepped into a maze that is not so simplistic.Looking forwards to it mate. |
Redman44: Well, a lot of stuff has been outlined in the other posts on this threadSplendid and insightful. This post is from a living first hand experience. Now if I may add to it... *Always remember the Sons and Daughters of who you are.No matter the influence your environment depicts. |
Roland17: [b]To be honest, based on my experience and many others here, i would say, Stay away from Nigerians here, especially those you think are Family here, its hard but its the truth, many times they are nothing but BIG trouble, there are many nice people around, including Akata and other nationals, be very open to interact and communicate with them, they would help you faster than even your own brothers that have been here for Donkey years..I second your honest post. I remembered when I ran into a 'small' ditch, and I sought "assistance" from my countrymen, whom I knew had the means,I was badly mesmerised. And to worsen the situation the man who hosted me said "NOBODY WILL HELP YOU IN ABROAD". Well surprisingly the nationals here and foreigners whom he forbade me from, came to my rescue.....and a fellow Nairalander from Naija too. Life is full of surprises, however there will always be that time, when those who turned you down today may have a change of heart...and that na when u don get solid ground o. |
martyns303: this is making headlines in SA, i was driving from Midrand to lanseria airport when i first heard it, on getting to the airport it was on another station, the sad part was when one of the guys made a remark, saying "this guys are unbelievable". i was so demoralized. My bros,na so we dey see am o.u don see the Nandos new advert "what's wrong with south africa?",u see wetin dem take qualify Nigerians?well you and I and responsible ones out there could still make a big difference.Sometimes to answer "where do you come from?" dey hard me to respond...but when your character speaks right ,and they curiously ask again, then you can answer smiling, Nigeria. |
Thank you henrychubayo.Your 'investigative' write up is good and informative.I had even the garri I brought inside d small ghana-must-go padlocked besides my main bag and my laptop was with me on board. I hope fellow countrymen will take to this as its true, even dia policemen here dey collect roja from ppl..but with style...no be like our own with all dia gragra and acccidental discharge. |
supremebeing09: F**K THAT! WHAT A SHAME. THE POLICE IN THE UK SHIIT THEMSELVES EVERYDAY BECAUSE THEY WORK IN SUCH A MULTICULTURAL ENVIRONMENT WHERE THE WRONG MOVE MAKES ONE SHIIT THEIR PANTS. IN NIGERIA, COPPERS ARE BEATING UP A FELLOW COPPER BECAUSE OF £20!!!! £20?!!!! AND SOME FOOL ON ANOTHER THREAD IS NOT CONVINCED NIGERIA DOESN'T RANK SECOND IN THE WORLD IN ROAD ACCIDENT FATALITIES ??!!!Nna men chere, cool down my guy...dis ya shit men, f..k dat men....na true say na jand u dey ...however sofry curse biko. |

Abali1: shey na m go tell the police make him show me ID number. Abi na under duress wey I go begin dey cram police name & ID number?Na u funny pass today walai.Hehehehehehehehehehhehehehehe |
Exponental: Police is ur fiend. My Foot |
reflx: Well I have read all the news in the papers and other media and its shocking !!!and while I condemn the act..the news was blown out of proportion ...I work in the police clinic port harcourt and I treated james ameh and all he had were serious bruises, chest pain and a bite to his hand...no spinal cord injury or paralysis...he is still on admission because of the awareness of the incident ...meanwhile the six other guys are already in police net and set for trial next week after investigations...please the press should be truthful...I read with disbelief all I saw in the dailies...he had his bath and ate by himself...he is ok and those guys are set to be punished...fullstop!Ol boy since you dey work for where dem dey treat, you for try at least put ONE foto for here make everybody see am fah.if press no blown d news,na so d assault for waka go under d carpet.Abeg NPF is "A gathering of demonsized zombies". |
From the "ENGLISH COMPOSITION" you should know this is a scam. They use it every where and every time. They may even tell you there's a job offer somewhere but you are to pay for your rent (1-3 months) up front. After they will reimburse you..blah blah blah.... Once you see such...DELETE button is not far away. |

lol. Anyway truth be told Nigeria is trailing in every aspect of social, economic and political class except, well, giving birth. The big uncontrolled birth rate aside, Nigeria hasnt moved beyond her borders to establish any big economical invesment outside Nigeria. Compare this to Kenya's superior international offshore investments. Among this investments are:-
. Least I get carried away, the issue she was now facing was one of security. With her present job paying 7GBP/hr,it was a comfort zone for her. She was sure that the company would keep her for as long as it was technically possible. The valid fear she had was starting another job and getting kicked out from the new job (e dey happen wel, well o). How would she cope? She and I got down to doing the maths together (I bet that a lot of 9ja folks in UK would be able to relate to this):
