davidylan: huh? okoi! quit being disingenuous, man. religulous not only mentioned islam, it made fun of it and even referred to muslims as a bunch of people in denial...especially when confronted with the myriad of crazy shit in their koran. yes had more fun with jews and christians, but isn't it easy to see that those groups are a majority in america and if he was seeking to stir some sh!t, those groups are a perfect target? american muslims are not an influential bunch, period. you accuse him of giving islam a pass, others accused him of giving judaism a pass. also, why am i not surprised that all you know about bill maher's position on the many different religions of the world is based on religulous?...if your initial statement is anything to go by, then it's safe to assume you haven't even seen the movie. you just want tell us say you sabi the man work. why else would you claim he avoided the mention of islam? again, you evidently know nothing about dawkins or hitchens or harris, bredrin. your religion is not that important to these people. these men write books that dismiss certain religious ideas. the god delusion is not a christian bashing book. it targets organized relgion...including christianity and islam. you should read it...and if dawkins' many anti-islamic views therein will help you sleep at night, do kindly knock yourself out. i think it's completely stoopid to think that dawkins, a man who categorically posits that "islam is one of the great evils in the world" is somehow scared of muslims. in the holy book of hitchens(god is not great. how RELIGION poisons everything) chapter 9, the great hitch does a job on islam. add that to the islamic scholars he's publicly debated and hitch slapped! if you had read sam harris' "the end of faith," you'd have seen that chapter 4 is titled "the problem with islam"(!) do you suppose he was bashing jesus and other jews on there? hezbollah put out a hit on salman rushdie for his book "the satanic verses." what do you think warranted that? l. ron hubbard and/or yahweh bashing? i honestly think you're a bright person with perhaps some legitimate beef against some(maybe all) atheists, but with this here topic, i dont know what you're fishing for. davidylan: lol i missed that part. Did he just say Dawkins, Maher and Hitchens are not evangelistic atheists? See, most of these guys are used to name dropping, they have no idea who these people are in real life outside what they have read once or twice online.i think you're the one in the name dropping game, rasta. you mentioned religulous when the evidence shows you aint even seen it. Mr_Anony: Lol, really??yea, really. those guys aren't out there trying to stop you from believing whatever imaginary shoite was shoved down your throat by your parents or whatever, they challenge the veracity of the claims your religions make, while asking you to think. they challenge the idea perpetuated by the followers of all religions that godlessness is equivalent to amorality and that ethics require the underpinning presence of some sort of ultimate arbiter, some sort of supernatural absolute, without which secularism, humanism, relativism, hedonism, liberalism and all manner of permissive improprieties will inevitably seduce the unbeliever down immoral ways. so, to those of us who are perfectly prepared to indulge in the above vices but still believe ourselves to be ethical beings, we seek to put to bed this most glaring and idiotic canard - that godlessness equals immorality. *my test just got cancelled! alhamdulillah!! boys and girls, time for some BF3. lessgo! * |
davidylan: The impetus for this post was a surprising comment that i read from a popular militant atheist around here...exactly what are you on about here, mate? is your problem that my mother has no inkling i'm an atheist, or that i don't go out dismissing islam? i think atheists are well known for making good use of their measure of common sense. my mother is hypertensive, and she believes that only god has kept her politician husband safe from two "alleged" political assassination attempts. she believes only god has kept her only son(yours truly) safe from chronic asthma and the same evil forces that seek to destroy his father. she prays before she eats the food she cooked with her own hands...she prays before she takes a pain killer or her high blood pressure medications. every single time she speaks with me on the phone, she spends at least 4minutes praying for me. what do you think will happen to this woman when she discovers her only child is a godless, hell bound heathen? i certainly don't wanna find that out. so yea, for that woman, i'll be a coward. perhaps you should know that atheist are fundamentally different from religious people. while some of them, like christians are evangelistic, most just couldn't give a fark! if a person tries to shove islam or any other religion for that matter, down our throats, we'll promptly and rightly do battle on that religion. you did rightly point out that there's bold atheists out there proclaiming their beliefs and sh!t, but try to understand that not every atheist has/feels the need to evangelize. you mentioned richard dawkins in one of your posts....while dude has been out there a number of times sh!tting on christianity, you seem to forget that he pretty much sh!ts on islam and other religions when necessary! same can be said of christopher hitchens, sam harris, bill maher, etc etc...and neither of these guys are evangelistic atheists. i personally respect every man's right to believe in whatever made-up horseshit they desire...it's a crazy world as it is already...a few more nutcases can't make it any worse. just try not to base the laws that i live by on any of those imaginary sky-beings. |
bendazum: This one caught my attention. We are still planning doing what,'getting intimate'?Am lost for speech. You married someone since 2005 and this is 2013.Still planning to have kids!Na waoh! !Whatever happened to consummating the marriage? 8 years still planning?!of course you would think that. if to say your parents been properly plan for you, you for turn out a more sensible human being than your post portrays. some people actually do put some serious thought to the idea of raising a family. oh and for the record, consummating a marriage simply means f*ck!ng. i don't believe any part of that interview gives away the fact they weren't thoroughly f*ck!ng. @post: mr harvey comes across as a very self-assured fella...laconic, succinct...no time for long ting ![]() |
cassava bread is not much of a bright idea, after all. |
priorities very well misplaced. |
Maxymilliano: EL-RUFAI DEFILES JESUS CHRIST ON TWITTER…wow! abi this dr. thomas agande na native doctor?? come on man... only a buffoon will read the post retweeted by el-rufai and understand it to mean, "jesus christ farked mary magdalene." when people say nigerians are a retar*ded bunch, na because of people like dis o.....and there's "dr" right in-front of his name! chai, my country is a motherfucka! smh.... |
it's fair enough to wonder if el-rufai would've retweeted this if mohammed was in it. to my mind though, this aint even about jesus. the twatter comment simply makes the point that jonathan's band of nitwits will seek to smear jonathan's mother or better yet, the most sacred person were that person to criticize jonathan. by retweeting this, el-rufai acknowledges jesus' sacredness....and of course the fact that there's nothing sacred to jona-cassava's band of nitwits. not unlike the original tweet, the cacophonous backlash has nothing to do with jesus. all na because el-rufai is involved. 99% of the folks making all the noise are a farkin disgrace to jesus, anyway!...and should jesus return right now, he'll farkin send them all to burn in hell! playing the religion card has completely distorted the point of the tweet and retweet....and that works very well for the deadhead that is jona-cassava. |
yea well, the commissioner evidently doesn't see mandela as anything more than a liberator. kini big deal?....and in the same sense of the word, he considers t. a. orji a liberator of abians(for whatever reason(s), i could give a flying fark!) so yea, fark south africans, fark t. a orji, and fark south africans again. any insult to south africa and south africans is good enough for me, sef. ![]() |
filiks: At first, It was about showcasing our rich culture to the world, but I've watched it become...in the last two years especially last year!ignoramus. what do you idiats know about the culture of Cross Riverians? farkin self-serving kunt, looking for cheap publicity. this is how you intend to attract traffic to your blog? @afam4eva: igbo culture should be promoted by the igbos. stay the fark outta Cross River! "...our culture..." my foot. do yourself a favor, go kidnap some eze or some politician's 100yr old mother. isn't it time you revived your okija shrine? |
prof e.o.o:wtf is a "seasonal movie"?? |
if you dont have to wait to see her face, hear her voice, hold her hand, f*on.dle her ti*tties, spank her junk, kiss her...wherever, assess her abilities(intellectual, etc etc); all integral to better knowing who it is you plan to spend the rest of your life with, i see no reason why a man or woman should be made to wait till marriage for sex. i'll be the first to admit that sex is overrated, albeit, who wants to end up with someone who's got major/any sex_ual inadequacies - smelly d!cks/puss!es, an insatiable sex_ual appetite(or a 10-second brother), or some sadomasochistic freak? women that expect a man to wait, are in my personal opinion, quite shallow. waiting until marriage for sex is not a precursor to a successful/fulfilling marriage. come back here and tell us how you enjoy being married to a guy that waited, then turned out to be a person that can only derives sex*ual pleasure/satisfaction by inflicting physical and emotional damage on you. las las, to all my superwomen out there, i'm not saying it's all about sex. neither am i saying it's all about love, or intellect or anyone of those qualities on their own.... it's about ALL of them(mind you, "all" to me = smart, with a sense of humor, not crazy about children, preferably atheist(not crazy about the self-righteous suicide-committing jew, the delusional arab, or any other one of them crazies), selfless, accommodating/friendly to strangers, driven. these could be grossly inadequate to some people, but those people could rightly go fark themselves in the batty!) so my beloved superwomen, you will never stand a chance with jim jones should you take premarital sex off the table. if we must know each other before deciding to spend the rest of our lives together, we must know each other in totality. Bleep any church, mosque, society, and parent that teaches otherwise. |
obadiah777: YOU MAKE NO POINT. IT WAS BLACK MEN WHO ATTACKED HER IN PARIS. EITHER WAY YOU STILL COME OUT LOOKING BAD AS A NATION OF BLACK PEOPLEyea, and i'm guessing you've made some kind of point? where in that daily mail article does it say she was attacked by black people? oh wait, you know this because you were one of the dumb thieves that carried out the attack. i hope that line of work is working out well for you....? |
edelweiss: Pessimist! Saddist!, un constructive critics! Choi bad belle pple oo! Its only the uncladdness the see to complain about, the are so blinded in their myopic mind to see the beauty in it. For christ sakes its a carnival! And mind u am a proud cross riverian! Have u seen our traditional dance attire? Its a very skimpy cropped top and a very sexy skimpy wrapper, with everything baring out! And our traditional outfit? U know it? ITS A GOWN! Which other state has a gown as a traditional outfit? Pls make all dis yeye critics go park well, if we dey commit sin with our carnival, mind u u are commiting sin by judging! Holy than thou hypocrites! Who force una to open d thread self? Did we tell u we display cross river's cultural heritage for the carnival? Anyway by the time ur boring state will conceive how to relax its habitats, we would have being far gone in amazing y'all! Enjoy it and stop being hypocritical!sistrin, shun those idiots wey just go find any reason to criticize. i agree with you completely. this is a carnival, not some church or mosque parade. in cross river we understand that and have no problems with that. any cross riverians/non-cross riverians/more-catholic-than-the-pope/more-muslim-than-mohammed -type hypocrites, could very well fvck off to the argungu fishing festival, lagos, port-harcourt, abuja or any other one of them shitty carnivals. Cross River is a progressive state with prodigious tourism ambitions. we major! |
Toppiano: Madness in the making...unclothedness in the name of carnival...Can someone tell me the moral of this carnival of a thing? I dont have anything against carnival but then this is simply outrageous...you should very well fark off, then. |
generally speaking, women are the most unoriginal/inauthentic/superficial/fickle/dishonest of god's creation...but dem nor go ever hesitate to demand a guy be original, honest, serious(but shouldn't take himself too seriously), hardworking, with the ability to walk on water and that other horseshit. take a long farkin hike, you fat, ugly, greasy-assed biatches! respeck to few REAL superwomen out there getting things done. small time talkers, big deed doers. respeck!! |
huni_naija: If any dude steps to me with any pick up line, be rest assured he better pick up that line oo literally! I'll just make him look like a nonentitygold-digging ho!! |
shymexx: Fat midget - that's the shyte that I don't like..you aint lied abot that, bredrin! fat, greasy midget. she ought to wash off all that grease, damit!! |
cr8v: This is one reason the Bible has proven to be correct. Written many years ago when men had not discovered that times differ according to your location, Jesus still commenting on the rapture said that some will be in the field(Luke 17:36) while others will be in bed sleeping (Luke 17:34)meaning it will occur instantaneously while some parts of the world would be having day/work hours(in the field) others will be in night time(in bed). It was over 1,000 years later that scientists discovered that times differ according to your geographical location.to my mind, this poster will easily win the noble prize for imbecility had such a category existed. is this poster positing that prior to jesus making that statement, all of the world was believed to exist in the same timezone? i usually like for people like these to bask in their ignorance, but yours is a special case, walai... see, man has been telling time with the use of sundials since 3500 AD(maybe even earlier). sundial time was/is based on apparent solar time and yes, sundial time does DIFFER ACCORDING TO GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION...and this wasnt no secret. jesus didn't put a flag anywhere, sir...all he did was state the obvious. |
the idiotic youths el-rufai spoke of are on the lose again. a person of middle-eastern origin is not considered white by any stretch of imagination. smh.. |
i'm trying real hard to give a fark here....... Wereh kpe: First of all let me ask. HAVE U HEARD OF THE SHROUD OF JESUS? i think you will be better of reading about it first b4 making comments. perhaps you will understand how we came about the looks of Jesus.wow! i haven't read anything this retar*ded since the bible. first off, the shroud of second, what records do you speak of with respect to peter? there is no firsthand historical or even biblical record that puts peter anywhere, at any point in rome! near 45 a.d.(around the time your catholic wankers claim peter was in rome), we find peter being cast into prison in jerusalem (acts 12:3, 4). in 49 a.d., he was still in jerusalem, this time attending the jerusalem council. about 51 a.d., he was in antioch of syria where he got into differences with paul because he wouldn’t sit or eat with gentiles. strange that the "bishop of rome" would have nothing to do with Gentiles in 51 a.d.! later in about 66 a.d., we find him in the city of Babylon among the jews (I pet. 5:13). remember that peter was the apostle to the CIRCUMCISED. Why was he in babylon? because history shows that there were as many jews in the mesopotamian areas in christ’s time as there were in palestine. it is no wonder we find him in the east. in all of paul's writings about his dealings in rome, at no point did he mention peter. now let's get something straight, i aint no advocate for neither of these wankers, but hombre, get your history together. there's a huge disparity between the roman catholic account of history and actual history itself.

Bandit C.:oh no, mine is sim-free...i don't do contracts either. so i'm planning to use Chainfire’s CF-Auto-Root package for n7105, albeit, i'm willing to wait until the results from extensive tests prove to be as positive as the n7100's. thanks for your response, though. |
Bandit C.:yo bandit, i got that n7105 and i'm hella scared of rooting it. i've been on xdadevelopers and while there's a good number of folks who've successfully rooted their n7105s, i've heard of a fair bit out there that have experienced problems. is your note2 an n7105 and how did you root it? |
nope. the international version of the device (N7100) has no LTE connectivity. |
lol...what is this, a joke? jona-cassava will NEVER, i repeat NEVER honor an invitation to hardtalk |
seriallink: Are you gay mayne? I'm not surprised! That's one of the pagan traditions you learnt from your Church! Smh for you! Sorry, I ain't no woman....Do I look like a woman to you...easily proves my point. madam seriallink, i inserted that deliberately to prove just how perfunctory your responses are. i knew you were going to faff around...avoiding the more pertinent issue raised in that there post of mine, and get hung up on the unimportant. no surprise there. albeit, i maintain that you can disagree with the pope without having to lie or be dishonorable. how this position makes me a roman catholic is simply unfathomable by me, walai. |
Ubenedictus: please can u give d quote where d pope said d celebrations have pagan origin?eh, masa...madam seriallink is not gonna give you an answer to that kweshun. as you may have noticed, i have tackled the woman on that issue and she's proven to be one of those people that can't pass up an opportunity to mouth off, albeit, very disingenuously. the paragraph he thinks is attributed to the pope, is actually(as every sensible person in the world should be able to see) john barton's. but disingenuous people are not known to admit their wrongs. |
seriallink: It's obvious you did not read the article! Btw, what I wrote up there wasn't for you, so kindly stop quoting me!bollocks. not only have i read the article, i've read the book. you on the other hand, seems like you do know how to read but can hardly understand. in that article, john barton stated that those celebrations probably have pagan origins. i don't believe john barton is the pope. thank jesu you know how to read, how about taking it a step further? try to understand what you read, innit.. eh...of course your post wasn't for me, but you were being disingenuous...that's the only reason i responded to it. |
seriallink: Did you read the article? Smh!!that's a question i should be asking you, masa. but i asked you to, based on that article, point us to the pope's admission that those celebrations are of pagan origin. can you do that? |
seriallink: Some people are just silly; making senseless comments doesn't change what the Pope said! Must you insult people to make a point? Not surprised! That is what you guys resort to when your Church issues are being discussed! It's very clear that Catholics will soon resume killing to defend their Church doctrinesmasa relax. you accuse folks of being silly and making senseless comments(not that i'm defending anybody) while being disingenuous, yourself. yes the catholic church introduced pagan traditions to christianity, but where in that post did the pope ever admit that them pointless celebrations are of pagan origin? |
t-die:tragic...absolutely tragic it is when the mark of an achiever/intelligent person is ascertained by the number of nairaland threads he/she/it(as in your case) have been able to start since joining the forum. judging by your responses to comments that highlight your dimwittedness, you just might be the one that needs employment. i mean, i dont even know when i joined nairaland, neither do i keep track of the wisdom i spit on this here forum; but you on the other hand...i'm surefire-dead cert you've got enough time on your hands to research me and the other legends that have rightfully highlighted your dimwittedness. and i could give fark, walai. it is people like you that have a need to take advantage of the anonymity of this here platform to brag about how full your bellies are, while unwittingly revealing how empty your heads are. even by the average nairalander standards, you are not quite bright, yaro. |
poyet:lol.........you "wana ceiling your house" eh ![]() |

Catholics....smh again
