Politics › How Just Is The Supreme Court Verdict On Rivers State? by jintujinta(op): 7:11pm On Oct 26, 2007
The supreme court of Nigeria just nullified the election of the Rivers State Governor Omehia, because he did not win the primaries election of PDP .

The court went further to say that the man who won the primaries, Rotimi Amaechi should be sworn in. Is this right on the people of Rivers State?

My arguement is that it is okay that the election was nullified but it is not right that Rotimi Amaechi be sworn in.

He did not contest the election. People did not vote for him. They voted for Omehia and PDP . People did not vote for PDP alone but also for the candidate- Omehia. The judgement should have been that there should be a fresh election in Rivers State. I see the verdict as a fraud of the PDP to retain the governorship seat of Rivers State. It is unfair to other parties, it is unfair to the voters.
Romance › Re: My Girlfriend Lied About Her Age: Should I Dump Her? by jintujinta(m): 2:50pm On Oct 25, 2007
Can we just look at it from another angle? How did he get to know her age? Did she tell her? Did she know his age before telling her own age. If she did not, then maybe it isnt a crime. She may just have had that as her official age. However, if she cut her age because of hi, then she's a cheat!

Another thing, how old is she now? Is she a quarter to thirty? I know girls get desperate to get married once they are 28yrs. They are usually afraid of clocking 30yrs as singles. So if she is on the desperate lane, then don't take her submission for real. She could be doing it to get what she wants. Once she gets you, you may discover many other things she has kept from you.

So i wont tell you wether to dump or go ahead but answer my questions sincerely and read inbetween the lines to know what to do. All the best!
Family › Re: You Must Get Pregnant Before We Can Wed! by jintujinta(m): 1:25pm On Oct 25, 2007
@ Topic

I will look at it from two angles.
1. For a professed man of God, it is wrong. A man is not supposed to "know" his wife until they are legally and tradittionally married. If one is led by God to choose a partner, what comes out of the relationship should not bother one because everything will work together for good.

2. For unbelievers, i will say: YES. It is right. You will be surprised how many abortion some ladies have done. Some have even perforated their wombs or lost it completely in the process and i dont think that an innocent man should be responsible for the lady's careless lifestyle. This request could be likened to HIV, Genotype, Fertility and any other test that people do before wedding.

Marriage is a long term thing that should not be jeopardised by any carelessness on anybody's part. Lack of children will surely jeoperdise the happines of any African family. Let's stop playing saint. So if the couple to be are not believers, they should make that rule, afterall they ve been eating the forbidden fruit!

Literature › This Is Your Story by jintujinta(op): 6:20pm On Oct 23, 2007
This is a story of evry nairalander. I will start a story and everyone will contribute. The fun is in the ability to move the story forward from any point you meet the story. For instance i may say: I went to my brother's office to see him but on opening the door ,

The other person may continue the story by saying: , i saw my brother's wife sister sitting on my brother's lap. Or the next person may say: when i open the door, i saw him in a pool of blood,

I hope we got the drift. It is a link story . A story by everyone. So i will start.

I woke up this morning feeling very excited to go to the office. Today is the end of the year party, so we spent most of yesterday making arrangement for the party. i even invited some ladies from some neighbouring companies to join us,

Family › Re: Can You Marry A Former Prostitute? by jintujinta(m): 6:40pm On Oct 22, 2007
Marriage is a life long thing. It takes a lot of efforts to sustain it and a lot of understanding. Not to compound the problem, I wont marry a prostitute for anything. Any slight tension in the home can make it snap. many have lost their homes due to their past catching up with them.

But if anyone must marry a prostitute, let it be because he did not know and let the prostitute change location. If she did it in the south west for instance, she should relocate to the north or the east when she repents. She should go where she's not known and start a really new and clean life.

It is a bad thing to think of, that one's wife was once a prosttitute.

Really? How possible is that.Anyways, I will consider uploading your singly married status on my list ok.quickly runs out to modify the post tongue
It's very possible now. You know how many Nigerians have their children and spouse abroad. they are trapped in Nigeria due to unavailability of VISA. Or are they not married? They are simply singly-married for as long as they still live like bachelors. In fact guys these days keep their wives and children abroad and live here in the country. they just visit them once in a while. It is a wonderful way to eat your cake and still have it. You are married, yet single. grin

A Khan says:
1.This is a country which is always experiencing enthnics or tribal riot, let take a look at the number of innocent people that were killed during the past enthnic riots and this was without guns or with few guns.tell me if d number of people that would b killed ll nt b multiply by 3 of those killed if the use of guns{legalized}was invoke.

I say:
That is why every one needs gun. To check the excesses of some fools. Until Zango Kataf, nobody checked them. Later when the ibo' s also got some guns and challenged them in Kano, the fools learnt their lessons.

Seun says: Gun does not protect, get armoured tank

I say attack is the best form of defence.

If i am not attacked, i wont have to use it. But i will need it to protect myself, when such is allowed.

About the thieves,  as i said earlier, they go because they know people dont have guns.
In those days, thieves run when they are caught. These days, they ask you to come and open your door to them. Why? Because they have what you dont have--gun. If i have a gun no thief can ask me to open any door. I will just open his brain with bullets. So no thief will be out of reach of the  police.

@ Seun
No, that is the reason why i should carry a gun. If they know i have what they have, they will not harras me because they know it will just be a matter of who is faster and more skillful in the use of the same weapon that we have.

I believe it will bring some respect. They are not all dead in the US, are they? Gradually, we will get used to it. At the initial stage there may be some indiscriminate use of guns but later evryone will come to respect oneanother.
Nairaland General › Re: Should Arms Be Legalized In Nigeria? by jintujinta(m): 10:32am On Oct 19, 2007
To be or not to be? That is not the question because already some people are licenced to carry guns. May be the question is why should we carry guns?

I will support that everyone should learn how to use guns and get one. Why?

1. Because of those notorious and oppressive policemen. I feel like shooting them when i see them harrass innocent citizens on their way to work. They know the robbers but they extort money from innocent citizens all because they have an edge- the gun. Policemen are legalized armed robbers. They rob us with their guns. if we too have guns, they will respect us. Afterall some of them do run away from robbers.

2. Because of the armed robbers. No armed robber will want to invade any house any where, if he knows the house owner is well equipped to resist his invasion. Most of the armed robbers azre small boys that can not stand you fist for fist on a normal day. But you will postrate for them, they will slap you and you will surrender your property to them willingly, all because they carry guns. Sh-t. I cant stand it. Honestly, every one needs guns.

3. Mutual respect for humanity. This is another reason why we need guns. That cousin got killed because she ran for gun but did not make up her mind before doing it. She wanted to oppress but was slow. A good man once said, anytime you point a gun at anyone, know that your own life too is at stake. It is either the other person too will kill you first or the law will kill you for indiscriminate of the gun. There will always be the law to check indiscriminate use and fear of geting killed by the time you introduce the subject of gun.

I fully support the use of guns by evry one.

Funmeme, i dont understand you o. wehat do you mean by "should you still date him" and "when people see you they think you are lovers." A beg stop deceiving yourself, you are already dating the guy.

He's been dropping you for the last eight month. Se the man be father christmas? He would pass his house at Anthony go to drop you at Ojota, all for nothing? A begi! Again, you are not dating but you go to his house, not only that, you even searched his house for signs to know wether he's married or not.

A beg we no be small boys and girls o. Plenty water don pass under the bridge. the thing now is, make up your mind. Since you said you are in love with him, one, can you be a second wife? If not stay back if you are not convinced that he isnt married. Two, how did your friend know that the man is married? Are you sure she's not planning to make you lose him so that she can take over?

Anyway, you too should do some reasearch on your own> Chikena

@mrpataki
Ungodly music is any music that makes you behave in ungodly manner. Flaunting your ass seductively, holding people of opposite sex thightly, ect

Ungodly music also makes you conceive ungodly thoughts, either because of the lyrics, the rhythm or the merte sound of it.

When you are in a church and all your danceing is centered around your waist level, your dance is becoming ungodly. or if you see any lady dancing in the church flaunting her chest, i beg pick race.

If Fuji makes you do some of the above listed, it is ungodly!

Health › Re: Have You Done HIV Test? by jintujinta(op): 2:13pm On Oct 18, 2007
1. Symptoms: Since AIDS is said to be an opportunistic disease, it is often made manifest by loss of weight, appetite and some of the diseases attahced to it. Such as tuiberculosis, etc. But the general thing is that whatever sickness attacks the person may defy treatment.

2. Condom: Well, it is said that condoms have 99% safety in preventing diseases and pregnancy but who know who will be the victim of the exceptional 1% and who knows when it will happen?

3. Duration: I have seen it done in less that an hour. When i did it, it was within an hour and i collected the result.

So go ahead and do yours!
Family › Re: Guys Can You Marry A Single Mum? :-\ by jintujinta(m): 5:04pm On Oct 17, 2007
I will answer you with a story of a single mother who got married to a single father. You mat have heard it.

The wife called the hujsband to come home from work. The husband wondered what happened and the wife said. " My son and your son are beating our son" Or to make it a bit more complex, " My children and your children are fighting with our children".

That is the kind of trouble that marrying a single father or mother could give. Why not just start your own fresh home. There is hardly anyway, the child of either party will not feel ill treated when the other person chastises him/her or deny him/her some benefits.

It is good to be clean!

Education › Re: Bad Things You Did In Secondary School? by jintujinta(m): 12:27pm On Oct 16, 2007
The bad things plenty o

1. Flying kite with boys penis. When guys were sleeping we would tie thread to their manhood pass it to another room and start flying it till it becomes erect.

2. Going to girls hostel in disguise as "Baba Dudu". At first it was with the intention to spy at them, later we started playing with their boobs from the louver panes. you know, those sleeping close to the window.

3. Spitting in water for those wicked seniors who forcefully sent me on errands.

4. Storming school farms to steal maize

5. Storming school kitchen to steal beans

6. Shelling students in the dining hall with pap during dinner. You simply position someone to switch off the light, then everybody takes cover. Shelling starts. The girls suffered most.

The thing too plenty. I was a bad boy. Went into jungle to steal fruits, palmwine, etc.

May the Lord have mercy on the then innocent and juvenile soul. (AMEN!)

Cute -ass, a beg your pardon! Please mind your language o. How can i pull your legs. Don't you know the resultant effect of that? Please dont let anyone break my head o.

Anyway, i just wanted to be sure you meant what you use as your slogan. It's also good that you know you should not fight in the market over a man. But do you think it works to see two people who love each other the same way? I think most of the time one will love more than the other. And i think in that case, the one that is loved more is in a better position.

But over all, it is always better for a man to marry the lady that loves him rather than the lady he loves.

Are you madly in love with anyone now? grin
Nairaland General › Re: Jintu Has Landed! by jintujinta(op): 3:23pm On Oct 11, 2007
Cute ass, another thing about you just struck me now, and i feel like taking you up on it. Your slogan, it sounds so nice. But on a second look i think losing your pride is a great sacrifice for love. Too great a sacrifice, dont you think?

Besides, people say: "It is better to marry someone who loves you than marrying someone you love". So if you lose your pride for someone you love and he later jilts you, what happens.

Do you think you should still retain that your slogan, or you want to turn it around? grin
