Religion / Re: Turning Our Back On Traditional Belief For Foregn Ones by jintujinta(m): 1:54pm On Oct 11, 2007
It's simple. Any religion or belief that does not advance the course of humanity should be dumped. It doesnt matter wether it is indigenous or foreign. No sentiments about this.!
Religion / Re: Political-economy Of Hajj! by jintujinta(m): 1:49pm On Oct 11, 2007
The anoying thing about it is that christians are begining to copy the gullible act by going to Jerusalem on what they call "holy pilgrimage". When they come back, they call themselves JP, just as the visitors to mecca call themselves Alhaji/Alhaja. When will we learn?
Religion / Re: Imagine A Worldwide Ban On Bibles by jintujinta(m): 4:27pm On Oct 10, 2007
It is too late now to kill the word. You will be surprised the volume of the Bible in people's heart.

So grew the word that it fills the whole world. With or without the hard copy, the bible is already in our hearts.
Poems For Review / Re: All My Life. by jintujinta(m): 3:33pm On Oct 10, 2007
Good one there brother, But in that last stanza you said you sit and watch. That is where the problem is brother, dont sit and watch the world go by. Be active, grab the world by the balls. It will have no choice but to yeild of its best to you!
Family / Re: I Caught My Wife Cheating: What Do I Do? by jintujinta(m): 12:26pm On Oct 10, 2007
If that is true, sorry brother but packing out is not the solution. Before i attempt giving any solution i want to ask you a question. What about you? Have you ever  cheated on her. Be plain. Jesus said to the crowd that brought the woman that was caught in adultery: " Let him cast the first stone, whoever is not guilty of a sin"

Sports / Re: Do You Love to Swim? by jintujinta(m): 12:15pm On Oct 10, 2007
Of course, i love to swim. I try to. But i dont know wether to say i know how to swim or not. I can dive into a swimming pool and swim from one end to the other, but i dare not stop in the middle. I cant float. And most of the time, i swim under water. Dive in glide under and burst out at the other end. Occassionally, i burst out to see how far i am from the other end.
The whole thing is funny. I think fear has been hindering me from floating on one spot.

I can never try swimimg at any beach!

Politics / Re: Another Tragedy Hit Rev.king by jintujinta(m): 3:15pm On Oct 09, 2007
Am sorry to differ, but this tragedy is not for Rev King. it is for the whole country, Lagosians especially and oke afa people in particular. One of the survivors was going to work. Just think for a minute. it could have been YOU!

When will our people stop being greedy and learn to respect life rather than risk it unnecessarily? Rev King, am sure is not bothered who dies. his wife and children were not affected, his chuech building was not pulled down, so what do you think he cares?

accident on our water ways is becoming one too many. Affected authorities should rise up to stem it. May God comfort the families affected in the accident.
Career / Re: How To Discover Your Talent? by jintujinta(m): 2:52pm On Oct 09, 2007
On a lighter note, what talent do you think a riff-raff can have. You can only be a vagabond. C'mon keep rolling the streets! grin

On a serious note. Whatever you know how to do best or whatever you enjoy doing most is your talent. Just keep on with it and develop skills in it and it will pay off. People get paid most for doing what they enjoy doing most. playing football for instance, or all these fuji or hip-hop musicians around. That is the way it is my brother.
Nairaland / General / Re: Jintu Has Landed! by jintujinta(m): 2:12pm On Oct 09, 2007
Tommyex, i just wonder what topic you are referring to. Because, on this thread, i dont think i've got a good one yet. but to my cute-ass, i think it's a sweet thing to know that you are liking me already.

as for few things about me, i'll rather not say it, because to know me is to love me. So let me deny you of that for now. grin. i think we'll gel!
Health / Have You Done HIV Test? by jintujinta(m): 5:54pm On Oct 05, 2007

Religion / Political-economy Of Hajj! by jintujinta(m): 5:47pm On Oct 05, 2007
This Hajj of a thing just keeps amazing me. How can anybody brainwash people and use religion to develop his tourism industry. Can you imagine how much Saudi Arabia makes a year from the annual pilgrimage? Ah, i think Nigeria too should think of one gimmick to develop its tourism industry o.

Religion / Re: Should Fuji Music Be Allowed In Church? by jintujinta(m): 6:20pm On Oct 03, 2007
The world is quietly creeping into the church. So many wayward acts have been imported int the church through songs/ music. It is bad! Fuji, juju, rap, etc all should be banned from the church. the way they dance in the world is influence by worldly music. The dance is seductive and suggestive.

Bringing worldly music to the church now makes people dance swinging their waist, throwing out their bumbum and shaking their breast seductively. All these are signs of the end time. Ungodly music should be banned from church. Call it whatever name.

Everything in the church should be done moderately, including dance!
Religion / Political-economy Of Hajj by jintujinta(m): 6:10pm On Oct 03, 2007
Every year many islamic faithfuls go to Mecca to perform Hajj. This act of tourism has greatly enriched Saudi Arabia. There is much to the pilgrimage than just religion. It is simply an avenue to develop their tourism and they have done it well.

i think nigeria should think of a tourist attraction and robe it around one religion if that will help to develop our tourism sector as hajj has helped Saudi Arabia.

Health / Re: An Innocent Life Wasted By Negligence Of Eko Hospital by jintujinta(m): 5:19pm On Oct 03, 2007
I am sorry for the death of your sister. Its a pity it happened like that. I just want to say that in case of another time, you should contact another another hospital. If as at the time you started doubting their expertise, you should have taken her to another hospital that is considered better.

No amount of case or compensation can really compensate for the death of a loved one. I pray that God will preserve all her siblings and comfort the parents. Leave the hospital and let the sleeping dog lie. except, of course if you just want the culprit to lose his/her job, so that he/she does not endanger the life of another person, then you can pursue the case.

All the best!
