let me tell u guys something, we may have the biggest church in the world, be the most religious country in the world but we are no better christains. infact, we may not even be real xtains in that country.

going to church, choir, this and that, are just being religious. it aint being a xtain. w need to follow what we preach and those churches need to start preaching christ, humility and service, and not only wealth, success etc the way people defend pastor chris and pastor adeboye, if we use the same zeal to practice xtainity, corruption would not thrive, electoral malpractice wont thrive, violence wont thrive.

no matter what we may say about our leaders, my opinion is that the problem with nigeria is more with the followership than the leadership

Spiritual Head of the C&S Church of Zion and monarch of Ugbonla, Oba Henry Ogunfeyimi, in the early morning of Sunday narrowly escaped being gunned down as some people suspected to be assassins attacked him in his palace.

The assassins it was learnt numbering about six stormed the monarch’s palace around three ‘o’ clock in the early morning, armed with sophisticated weapons
Ogunfeyimi who confirmed the incident on telephone said that he escaped the attempt on his life by providence. .

The assailants it was learnt also vandalized some houses and vehicles in other areas of the town.
The monarch accussed the chairman of Obats Oil and Petroleum, Prince Obateru Akinruntan as the brain behind the attack

“ Two security aides of Obat were sighted among the assassins who destroyed my palace and vehicles. One of the boys called Waso was seen among the assassins.” Ogunfeyimi alleged.
But in his reaction, Prince Akinruntan denied the allegation saying he and his aides had left the area for Ibadan four days for Christmas and new year and none of them left his Ibadan resident since then.
Prince Akinruntan said the allegation was a deliberate falsehood aimed at denting his image, saying he was not surprised that the allegation came from Ogunfeyimi who was among those who wanted to kill him early this year.

It was gathered that the assassins invaded the town in five motorized boats, shooting sporadically in all directions probably thinking that the monarch might hide in one of the cars parked at the palace.

Police Public Relations Officer for Ondo State , Mr. Adeniran Aremu when contacted on the incident said the command was yet to be briefed, he however promised to find out and call back.
It would be recalled that the oil rich communities has been subjected to a series of crisis and deadly fireworks since the Supreme Court removed the former monarch, Prince Adebanjo Mafimisebi as the Olugbo of Igbo kingdom.

i always enjoyed my mum and granny coming to stay with me. they were days of great joy and relaxation for me. i looked forward to the day we would live together again that is no more possible on th side of eternity but i know we will see again at Jesus feet.
