peelovee:

after i cought him had sex with his ex, and several heart break from my guy, who is now my ex, i promise myself to be alone for some times without a lover. though he came pleading for second chance, i found no place in my heart to welcome him back, because i have experience 2 serious heart break from him.

He kept distorbing me every day and night even in my office premises, i had to tell him one on one that he should go back to his ex, as i can read it through her that she is still in love with him, he left bitterly.

Now he swear he will never let me be till i give him a second chance, I have decided that i can not give him a second chance, because i can not share my love with another girl, either will i like my love to be shared with another man.(i can't finish eating my cake and still have it)

The worst part is that he keep on embarassing every guy that comes across my way, telling them that i am his fiance, HE even tell me one on one that he must marry me by force.

I am confess, should i report him to our layers, or arrest him, or leave the country because of him, or         do what.

Islam for Muslims / Re: Hadeeth Of The Day by JJYOU: 1:35pm On Jul 03, 2009
muhsin:

These are numerous. Any way, according to some learned scholars, they  provided four broad benefits for the individual and the society.

1- The Door to Eternal Paradise

God has said in the Qur'an:

"And give good news (O Muhammad) to those who believe and do good deeds, that they will have gardens (Paradise) in which rivers flow. . ." (Qur'an, 2:25) mr mushin, how many people do you need to kill for it to be counted as good worka?

When someone converts to Islam, God forgives all of his previous sins and evil deeds. A man called Amr came to the Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h) and said: "Give me your right hand so that I may give you pledge of loyalty." The Prophet (p.b.u.h) stretched out his right hand. Amr withdrew his hand. The Prophet (p.b.u.h) said: {What has happened to you, O Amr?} He replied: "I intend to lay down a condition." The Prophet (p.b.u.h) asked: {What condition do you intend to put forward?} Amr said: "That God forgive my sins." The Prophet (p.b.u.h) said: {Didn't you know that converting to Islam erases all previous sins?}  didnt someone say all you need do was sleep and wake up cos your sins get forgiven every time you sleep.

Narrated in Saheeh Muslim, #121, and Mosnad Ahmad #17357.

There is just a portion out of many benefits one have as being a Muslim.  plus you get to hate without guilt, sleep with 4 women now when the world comes to an end u still have 7 virgins

Music/Radio / Re: Reuben Abati Vs Banky W: A Must Read! by JJYOU: 10:25am On Jul 03, 2009

A friend of mine has this response to thie article, i think you should see it.

My response to Banky W’s response to Mr. Reuben Abati’s “A Nation’s identity Crisis”
Dear Sir,

While I do not totally support Mr. Abati’s take on some of the issues raised, I must agree with you however, that our youths are in too much of a hurry to realize they are on a fast track to nowhere.

The dearth of morality in our songs these days is to say the least pitiful. Music videos are full of half naked women parading themselves, some of the musicians are so far gone, they display more skin than skill!

While I fully agree with Banky (whose music by the way, I like) that it is the prerogative of the artiste to choose whatever alias or moniker he wants to be known and addressed as on stage/album, I however do not agree with him that music in Nigeria has grown in leaps and bounds, as he would rather have us believe. We have matured in acceptance, yes, sound and picture quality or quantity as the case may be, but it is definitely not uhuru.

Agreed, musicians are business men/women who are in the industry to make money for their basic needs, but do we as consumers not deserve to indeed be entertained while you guys are in the process of making money, through us, I might add? Permit me to disagree with your “we are not all one and the same, but we ARE artistes”, oh please, spare me. So many of you out there do not even know the meaning of that word, artiste indeed! With horrible lyrics like ori e o 4ka sibe, what’s that?

Banky, the argument is not about trying to fight the change like you claim, it is about embracing good change, positive change. Why should we have musicians who are supposed to be image makers sag their jeans, when it is prisoners that sag because they are not allowed to use belts. Is that part of the change we are supposed to so lovingly embrace?

If we danced to legends like Fela, Shina Peters etc, it is because they had things to say, issues that needed to be addressed. It was not all about laying a track and making money, it was and still should be about passing across a message, entertaining and educating. Sadly enough however, most of the songs we hear these days have nothing to say, lack meaning and make little or no sense at all.

Banky, again you missed the point completely. The piece is not about 9ice who does not drink or smoke, or about eLDee being married to one wife, least of all about Naeto c obtaining a Masters’ Degree in England, don’t you get it, it is about the quality of music they produce, that is what it has been about all along! Not personal achievements or its lack thereof, but quality in music, that is all we want, it is all we crave for, or don’t we deserve that?

People, having read her responce , whats your responce now, am waitin,

Celebrities / Re: The "koko Mansion" Debate! by JJYOU: 10:03am On Jul 03, 2009
e-Shegz:

The finalists finally unveiled. Ranging from the ages of 19 to 27, these ladies are quite beautiful and rearing to go!
Reports monitored on the newspapers also stated that HITV will be dedicating a channel covering the show as it unveils while D'banj and his friends are ready to take the whole world on a roller coaster of an entertainment!

The participants have all spoken, and the reasons for participating ranges from the mundane-the desire to be known, to the self-important-"i want to bare my intelligence". The participants are now familiarizing themselves with the mansion.

However, the great debate continues on the pages of newspapers as to the morality of the show. An example is this opinion on Guardian
http://www.ngrguardiannews.com/editorial_opinion/article03//indexn2_html?pdate=030709&ptitle=Kokomansion:%20What%20does%20it%20stand%20for?

The show is on, no doubt about that, but the question is given another life, will D'banj allow his own sister or daughter be part of a show of this nature?

What does this show portend for today's woman?

And after the winners finally emerge, what's next? after the Chris Aire diamond, the Millions, the SUV, the promised video shoot, the escort, what's next?
Whats the mentality of Today's Woman?

ask again.

I see it more as a psychological problem especially when they need to be maltreated to enjoy sex. Though i don't think a lot of girls like this, however it's not as rare as we would believe (existence).
As for overly possessive and jealous, i suppose some people see it as a sign of love/affection. That to drive someone to that stage means the person must care alot about you undecided

someone i know told me same thing but i feel it is a mild form of madness. how could any sane person tolerate violence and abuse?

Dead end for armed robbers

Olalekan Olabulo, Lagos - Updated: Tuesday 30-06-2009

The news of the victory recorded by the police in Sango area command of the Ogun State Police Command, a few days ago, spread like wild fire during hamattan period. Men of the Special Anti- Robbery Squad from the state police headquarters, Eleweran, attached to the Sango area command, had engaged, a gang of heavily armed robbers in a fierce shootout that shook the entire Ijoko Community in Ogun State to its foundation. At the end of the battle, five members of the gang were killed.

Before that encounter, there were intermittent cases of armed robbery in the area hardly, a day passed without a major robbery operation in the ancient town being reported. Residents of the town lived in fear.

The robbers took advantage of the deplorable condition of the roads in the area to wreak havoc on the law abiding residents.

The killing of the robbers instantly became a juicy topic for several reasons. One , the residents of the town would, at least, heave a sigh of relief, as some of their tormentors had been killed. Another reason it became a talking point was simply because the police in their attempts to show off, took the corpses of the robbers to some places where two of the robbers lived in Ota. Everybody wanted to have a glimpse of the corpses, to identify if their relation was not involved

Crime and Security reliably gathered that one of the felled robbers confessed that he was an indigene of the town, but also that his gang was responsible for some of the major robberies recorded in the area. The deceased robbers was also said to have claimed that another member of the gang, whose name he did not mention before he died, was also from the town. The other members, according to him, were people from other places including people of Igbo extraction.”

Crime and Security gathered that the bubble on the activities of the robbers burst a few days ago after intelligence reports on the series of armed robbery operations in Sango revealed that, one of the gangs that were terrorising the town, had its base in Ijoko, a suburb in Sango Ota. The gang had, on the day before the shootout, undertaken a major robbery operation in the town and had escaped to their hideout , unknown to them that the police were on their trail . The gang had reportedly invaded a residential building in Ijoko, when they had an encounter with the police.

Crime and Security was informed that the police team caught the armed robbers unawares, when they invaded Ijoko and engaged the robbers in a gun battle that lasted about one hour. The robbers, on sighting the police team, reportedly opened fire on them and met a fierce opposition from the policemen.

A resident of Ijoko, Samuel who is a teacher in one of the secondary schools in Ota, while speaking with Crime and Security, described the gun battle as “total war.” In his words: “In all my life, I have never witnessed this kind of thing between the police and armed robbers.” He further stated that the thunderous gun shots shook Ijoko to its foundation as it occurred in the very early hours of the day, at a time when residents of the area were still asleep.

A police source who pleaded anonymity, while speaking with Crime and Security, stated that the robbers had in the early hours of Monday, 8th June 2009, invaded a building in Ijoko when the police received a distress call and sent its men to the scene. Crime and Security was informed by the police source that the Area Commander in charge of the command, Adeoye Oyelola , an assistant commissioner of police, had upon receiving a distress call, drafted men of the Special Anti Robbery Police Squad to the building under attack

Crime and Security also gathered that the state commissioner of police, Ashimiu Argungu, had on receiving the numerous reports of armed robbery cases in Ota, drafted the anti-robbery squad, to the town. The drafting of the policemen, however, paid off, when the squad confronted one of the robbery gangs, terrorising the area. The police source also informed Crime and Security that the police in Sango really celebrated the exploits of the speacial squad

On why the corpses of the slain robbers were taken to some notable personalities in the town, Crime and Security gathered that the policemen only took the corpses to the residence of the robbers or their relatives and victims, who had lost one thing or another to the activities of the gang members.

One of the dead robbers, while on the way to the hospital, confessed to some of the atrocities of the gang. Crime and Security gathered that the man confessed that his gang was responsible for a major robbery operation that led to the death of three people in Oju Ore, Old Palace and Arigbabu, among other robbery operations in the town.

Residents of the town, while speaking with Crime and Security, however, stated that it was not yet uhuru for the police. Some of them though, commended the police team, enjoined them to be on the trail of other robbery gangs operating in the area

Some residents of Arigbabu and Sango Ota roundabout informed Crime and Security that robbers had continued to make lives miserable for them. They, however, added that they had in the last few days enjoyed, a sort of relief following the intervention of policemen. http://www.tribune.com.ng/02072009/tue/crime1.html
