I think liars would re-examine their heads and learn not to post stupid lies.

As for the "kids", by their immaturity, you shall know them. We just have to treat them like kids when they behave irrationally.

When a kid wash his hands clear, he would dine with elders.
Hmmmn Good talk!

@Jackal
Brown win the PFA award? (3 smileys) yeah right, I believe you, I hope he wont be contesting for that with Burnley?

Arsenal is a brilliant team. I think they burnt too much energy trying to stop us on Saturday. . . They will pay for scoring that goal with another draw on Monday with Reading grin grin grin

Who do you call Apache? Tevez? Is that his nickname?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by jkpretty(f): 1:42pm On Nov 08, 2007
@Razorr
Yeah, im new . . . forget that JK talk, I don’t know him from nowhere and I think he has some explanations to do to me as regards what he told you on the fone. He must be a jester for real

@Jackal
Wes Brown’s case is now once upon a time, that wont win trophies you know. . . United being a big club should be ready to discard our fading talents so we as a club wont fade.

Whats your take for the Saturday game? Those guys are a handful. They will cause some problems or you don’t think so?

@Olanijim
I feel u on that kids thing o, imagine adults leaving for kids, matured minds leaving for immature & so what will be left. I'm pondering. Agba o le wa loja ko ri omotuntun wo. We need them matured minds.

are we heading somewhere with this thread?

@Jackal
I think Wes Brown has been given enough time to prove himself. Reasons why we always fumble at the back sometimes is because of people like Wes brown. We need a quality RB to cover just in case Gary wont be back.

My brother told me Wes Brown was with the treble winning squad. How bad can that be, he should be given to City in exchange for Richards
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by jkpretty(f): 12:22pm On Nov 08, 2007
@Jackal
I just don’t like the way the guy has been missing out, Wes Brown isn’t worthy of a shirt in United and if Gary feels age is telling, then SAF should get rid of him

His number. . . . I don’t need it. About JK, I don’t know him from Adam

@Chukdee
Gerrout of our zone and don’t play dumbo here

olanajim:
I do not agree that 95% of postings are lie. That is scandalous. We must also take note of postings that merely "assumed" the possibility of the event happening. For instance, some posters know that the event wasn't real. They merely want to know what you would do if it happen to you. At times, they personalize it to make it real. Few of them actually make it clear that it wasn't real.

Then there is issue of old thread coming back to life after the problem had been resolved. Isn't there any way we can block such thread so that any one who view it will know that it case is already closed? It is ok to read and learn from them. But what is the use of bringing it back again?
yes i quite agree with u, i'm very sure though their are lies here but definately not up to 95%, becos there are sometimes, we give an insight, Like a post i made some time ago, "Ladies can u marry ur driver/guys can u marry ur househelp" This topic is not based on truth but we just want to air people's views concerning the topic. There are so many topics like this which is helps just to view how people see things. It's now the "it happened to thingy" that's the problem now, with deceptions for different reasons. pathetic though.

Maybe seun needs to look into this matter.

i think what Blatter is proposing might just pose more problems than good to soccer. Do u think He's making sense.

i dont see any difference between soccer and the other trades that go on in europe, so why isolate soccer and restrict players? this is just in my thoughts.

I don't know, no JK, i'm Jkpretty & a united fan

but what's really the problem with Gary Neville?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by jkpretty(f): 5:25pm On Nov 07, 2007
I think the game on Saturday was a true test to the two best teams

I've been reading lines and i think this war between Arsenal and United is uncalled for, quite fruitless.

United stole the show at the backyard of the arsenal people

I'm sure Manchester United will still lift the trophy cos of the calibre of players they have

@ Jackal
what exactly is the problem with Gary Neville?

funny girl, but seriously those funny threads ehn, u can't just help but look into it, some are too funny u just have to contribute, some thread like that meets u in your funny moods, some angry, some ur sacartic mind. Application of answers to those threads really depends on u & ur mood.

@ all
But why should those thread be our major interest, dat really is the initial question. An how can we solve this issue
as for the liers we know u, but we have just decided to reply, either quench quench some moods or increase some. I can't really remember the particular thread that vexed me into throwing this topic, but it was so o stupid, dat i've forgotten.
Maybe when the lie detector in our brain tells us that a particular topic real & worth's answering we should put our best to it.

I'm not in any objection to keeping guys as friends, but why should u be together almost everytime that u have to sleep in his place. No matter what guys raise ur eye brows High, if u r in such position. I wonder what she & her boyfriend have to discuss, when her so called best friend knows it all. Some second hand gist Huh!, I'm sure she dosn't know what it takes to have & keep a guy.

hmmn Olanijim

As for installing a lie dectector, lets start from normal or is logical reasoning?

they say the simplest answer is usually the correct, which means,The simplest Questions should be real--------nah i don't think that's correct

Or should we just assume they all r real, and approach the topic the fairness except d topic is a particularly dummy one.

iice:
People in general enjoy lies and lie too.
I like Ola's breakdown although i think he's missing 1 or 2 groups.

The worse are those who know what to do but come on all 'i don't know what to do', seriously please!!
IIce, i've read some of ur replies in the past, good ones, but i think u are becoming a little sarcastic now, is it dat u are tired of replies, or u don't see a point, cos i did notice some energy u had at ur beginning.

aysometin:
@ Poster, this is stating the obvious, is your boyfriend pope john paul that he will be watching a girl in his crib for one week without anything happening or something going on between trhem?It happened to me once with my roomate getting so close to my boyfriend that she even used to go to his house and sleep there giving different reasons, eventually it became confirmed they had been dating for 6 months and that was a 4 year old relationship i had. What that taught me is that a guy and a girl don't just get close without reason and with my fiance now he knows that i can not stand other girls so its both of us together most of the time to avoid a repeat.
What am i saying to you, its obvious something is going down and if u really want your guy back go and clarify issues.if not take a walk.
MY two Cents.
wow, good talk!

@Frankies , joey kiss Olanajim & scopium

Point taken,

U know, i've read topic as far back as 2005 & 2006 & i see response which touches me, i see the sequence in the way the questions are answered, with respect to the poster, even if they've committed the worst crimes, & they help them to see carefully what is wrong. There's hope of the poster Taking to correction, & u see due remorsefulness.
I see quality advice that can't be bought. which is rare now, or maybe if its there they kill the spirit of such people.

Just like i posted this topic, when i barely knew nairaland, with no response only for it to come up today.

We sure need a change & scopium i'm thinking of that lie detector

what if self respect was mistaken for pride

What if it shows u don't just want to make a conversation & but meaningful talk

RomanceRe: Dumping Boyfriends: by jkpretty(f): 11:11am On Nov 06, 2007
@Shugalump

In reply to ur initial post,

Its not the way a lady does anything dat makes a guy want to go back to her. Its no choice of last minute words, or referal statements or manner of break up that makes the guy see what he's missing. But its what he had felt about u, during the course of the relationship,(dat takes him back) which he might have thought has diminished, due to the storms, ups & downs & other travails in the relationship.

When breakups occurs, ur partner might think he/she no longer feels a thing, & probably thinks he just offloaded a burden, this feeling might be due to the anger or hurt which is still deep with wound so fresh. But as a when weeks go by or probably months, & those sore heals, they are then able to give a thorough "think" to their feelings. Now the object of breakup dosn't come to play anymore (because most likely its healed)that's if u have a forgiving heart But the subject that comes to play here is ur feeling which u initially swore its not there again.

Then he/she start to think about how u guys started, the memorable times, the lies they told, that they shouldn't have, the truth they should have said, the comfort they should have given, the effort they should have given in, to spice it up. Then they know, they actually stil feel what they felt in the beginning. Which create the urge to get back.

For some people, they realise ur worth, when they've been with some other person & later realise u are still the best bet wink

Now, its not many people, who come back for selfish interest (pay back) it takes a guy or a lady with guts to ask for a second chance. Its one of the most difficult task in life. But which ever be the case, if u ever think of considering him/her again, make sure u dissect & bisect, your initial relationship, don't go on like nothing happened. Talk deeply about it, make corrections, say ur sorryies & start afresh.
