Shma2022: The emboldened is the reason enough why I shouldn't engage you. But then again, I doubt if you've ever used an FN-SCAR( special force compact rifle) of any type. That factor alone drives us to a level pegging ground. You have to hit google to dig out information.
Also, the only version abandoned by the US navy seal was the light version of FN-SCAR. This is due to its heavy weight and jamming at some point.
"The U.S. Special Operations Command later canceled their purchase of the SCAR-L and planned to remove the rifle from their inventory by 2013. However, they will continue to purchase the SCAR-H version, and also plan to purchase 5.56 mm conversion kits for the SCAR-H, allowing it to substitute for the SCAR-L ."
Apart from the aforementioned, I agree with the rest of your points.
Ak47, R4, R5,Ar16, CR21 I've shot....haven't shot a Scar but it uses a short stroke piston action... Similar to the Ar16 so yeah I would say I know what I'm talking about.
Shma2022: Your deamining character is screaming, that's why without doing reach, you concluded that we only operate on an FN SCAR-L(5.56) - which is still lethal notwithstanding the weight. My friend, we have both HEAVY( 7.62×51mm) and LIGHT(5.56 ×45mm) special OP compact. You can check it out from Kenya Ordnance Factories Corporation(KOFC) page. And yes, 5.56 is just a cartridge power.
also how can a 5.56 be more powerful than another 5.56 don't post fanboy lunacy pics

My bru I grew up with guns... You don't need to copy and past caliber sizes... The fact is the FN Scar isn't even the most powerful rifle in the KDF since the KDF also operate larger caliber than even 7.62... So even if you have FN Scar in 7.62 it still isn't the most powerful rifle in service with the KDF.
In general the FN Scar is a decent rifle, but it is complicated and prone to jamming if not kept clean... Its also one of the reasons why the Navy seals rejected it.
Lurker4Long: OFF-TOPIC: Jl115, Greenandgold, kikuyu1, what an abysmal sporting weekend for us! Cricket, Hong Kong 7s and full team rugger against Ireland Glad I didn't watch any of it and instead went to listen to the Cape Philharmonic Orchestra at the Silo district!
Shma2022: 900 kdf have been sent to congo. Expect peace to prevail soon. KDF is something else, they don't joke around. They are strategists and most intelligent. Nearly each of them has an FN scar - one of the most powerful rifles in the world.
MAN1960: Incorporate radios in their armoured vehicles. can you just hear yourself?
So if I'm a procurement officer in Nigeria for example I would advise the government to purchase 100 or 200 of this armoured vehicles just for us to find someone else to buy radios from and incorporate them into this vehicles.
I think you are being too patriotic by saying such words, so you would feel okay if Nigeria purchases 200 or 300 of such armoured vehicles with no radio or means of communication from Japan?
you do know you can buy APCs without radios and incorporate your own right? All South African vehicles have Reutech radios which did not come with the actual vehicle
Covert1: Regardless the dragging of feet showed commanders lacked the wherewithal and still do and advised Ruto accordingly. Everything about Eastern DRC smells trouble and the Kenyans still don't have the full CT/COIN air and land contingency forces and assets for complete clearance and decisive operations. That said I expect the Kenyan military to do a better job on the whole than the Southies.
SA Army to exercise landward force capability and readiness at division level
"Vuk’uhlome will, according to exercise communications staff officer Lieutenant Colonel Vuyiseka Pamla, test the capability and status of readiness of the landward force, supported by SA Special Forces, SA Air Force (SAAF), SA Military Health Service (SAMHS), Military Police Division, Legal Services Division and the SA Police Service (SAPS)."
yeah let's just forget the fact that the entire world has implemented Coin strategies our military invented ..... Hell even the word commando is a South African word
Faithful007: White supremacist private militaries are literally the ones keeping South Africa internally stable and you know that.
I'm not trying to spark off an e-conflict here but calling Nigeria's army rag-tag when your army's capacity against asymmetric threats is still uncertain, certainly doesn't make a ton of sense.
my bru SA is king when it comes to asymmetric warfare.... Hell our entire doctrine is based on it..
