Ladies! Men understand the fact that we are meant to care for our women and provide for them and our families, but when you start telling us or setting unnecessary standards for us, you kill our desires to take care of you!

What annoys me most is the ugliness of the girl in question! If a pretty hot girl said this, at least we'll consider her looks a yardstick for such demand! But when a "worworiwor" is the one spewing the gibberish, one is left with no choice but to marvel at such level of delusion!

iukpe:
Marriage for a woman should be between 18 years to 25 after that you're late and a risk to any man who wants to make a family.
You dey mind them? The number of married couples desperately trying to conceive these days is on the high side while pregnancy-related deaths and complications are also growing so high! The reason being that girls no longer marry as early as their bodies were designed to. If I have female children, I'll definitely encourage them to marry between the ages of 18 and 23yo. Even if they're not done with school, I'll be sponsoring them from their husband's houses if need be.

To hell with "modern marriages"!

Marriage is mostly about raising a family in an organised environment. Any woman going into marriage should have it in mind that her major responsibility in the marriage is birthing offsprings. Some people try to deceive themselves about the so called companionship but we all know that marriage is about carrying and bearing children. Any lady who can't carry pregnancy shouldn't get married at all

InvestmentPlease Beware Of The Scam Website Jumbuying.top.com by Jman06(op): 7:53am On Jan 21
The website site above is a designed and coordinated scam website! They claim they are associated with Jumia and that your duty is to increase product visibility to their merchants or whatever. They'll lure you with appealing messages and Facebook ads but they're big time SCAM!

They say their system randomly assigns tasks to people. When you register, they'll give you ₦2000 welcome find and some simple tasks to do. After doing the tasks, they'll credit your account with the ₦2000 plus some commission. Then, for you to get more tasks, they'll ask you to deposit a minimum of ₦5000 . When you do that, they'll give you more tasks . After exhausting the 5k, they'll require you to deposit funds before you can get more tasks.

Then when you deposit another funds they'll now increase the number tasks given to you and the prices of the items they claim you're buying. That way you'll keep depositing more money because the previous funds would have have been exhausted. They'll claim that your principal (ie the money you deposited) is safe but when you can't finish the tasks given to you, they'll not return your deposited funds neither would they return your supposedly earned commission. Your whole money will be gone!

So guys, when you see their adverts on Facebook or anywhere else, please run o! They're scammers and they've a sophisticated website that would make you think they're legit.

Mods please, move to front page to save more Nigerians from falling for them.

Allow your husbands to have multiple sex partners but ensure he uses protection and go for regular test to ensure he's disease free, keep praying him to change, if you can't take it anymore, pack out and seek ways to ensure change comes. Don't kill anyone.
Would you also allow your wife have multiple sexual partners? She'll be using protection and also going for regular tests?
RomanceRe: Nigerian Parents Are terrible All. Of Them. by Jman06(m): 2:17pm On Jan 18
Stop complaining about what your parents did or didn't do for you. They brought you to life and you should be grateful for that. What if they had aborted you while in the womb ?

Work hard and smart to create wealth for you and your family, many wealthy men today come from poor backgrounds like yours but they worked their ways to financial success. If you keep complaining about what your parents did not do for you you'll end up not making progress in life.

Besides, have you ever paused to ask yourself; what help did my parents get from their own parents? If you sincerely answer that question you'll discover that your parents even did their best for you. Many of our parents got nothing from their own parents, not even formal education!

There's no research to support your claim that expired vaccines don't cause adverse effects. In fact, some expired vaccines have been known to cause adverse events in recipients. Also many live attenuated vaccines have been known to cause potentially fatal diseases especially upon expiration. So, next time, do a thorough research before you expose your ignorance on a public forum.
CultureRe: Anambra State Police Command Arrests Man Behind Masquerade (Pic) by Jman06(m):
After smoking weed they'll go and carry masquerades to cause trouble. I nearly beat one yeye masquerade in my village during the Christmas celebration. Instead of the normal cane they're meant to carry, some of them now carry dagger and 2 by 2 woods looking for people's children to kill.

While I support cultural and good traditional practices, I think people who wear masquerades should be very careful with their conducts. Gone are the days when we believed that masquerades were some invincible spirits of our ancestors. We now know that they're humans who can be arrested or subjected to "mending"when they misbehave.

RomanceRe: Sometimes I Wish I Was Born A Woman by Jman06(m): 10:10am On Jan 17
Op, don't feel bad about it. Being a fellow corp member, that lady sees you as NOT READY for serious relationship and at this level, she is set to get married. She'll be gunning for men who are ready for marriage and not for a fellow corp member! That's the way ladies are wired and there's nothing you can do about it. Again, know that that lady doesn't hate you. It's just that she feels you're not ready.

But don't worry, you'll get to the level where you'll also become the preferred choice by ladies and at that time, you'll be the one choosing the ladies you'll date.

Your opinions are spot-on. Vaccines storage and handling can pose huge health risks if not properly done.
Especially as vaccines are not "drugs"..they are actually "partially killed" viruses, weakened for body to overcome them by itself to confer immunity. But when not stored properly, the "partially killed" can regain its full potentials, causing the real viral damage to the body when given.

We have a case like this in Nigeria...the Pfizer polio vaccine that caused polio in Northern part of Nigeria many years ago.

Where this particular incident is troubling is that, mass cases of babies death would have been reported around that locality where the health centre is, if the vaccine is the problem.

You get my point?
It's still possible that just a small number of the vaccines were probably affected and just a few babies, including the twins, died as a result. In that case, it becomes difficult to know if the deaths were as a result of the vaccines. I got your point though

Exactly grin, last week I felt I bit headache, I went to a nearby pharmacy to check my BP which landed at 105/85.....I no know wetin e mean na.
Now the guy told me my BP is low that he will give me a medication I said okay. My mind immediately touched me I had to call my mom to tell her about it while the guy was arranging the drugs, my mom shouted at me to run ooo grin cheesy..that 105/85 is good oo that I should run away from there.
Na so I disappear from outside even with the guy money.
cheesy
You probably went to one of the roadside chemists or quack pharmacies. No pharmacy owned and run by a pharmacist would interpret that BP reading as low BP.

This is very disheartening news..

The state of the mother and father right now...what a tragedy!

That said...

The question will be, why just these two babies reportedly out of hundreds that would have taken the vaccines?

Hmmm... humans are very complex creature and taking medicine, sometimes, na complex process..,..it goes beyond "no be tablets, no be syrup, no be injections, no be vaccines" ..

As common as paracetamol is, wey everyone dey take am, some people dare not...if they do and there is not intervention..na die.

Thorough investigation will have to be done to ascertain what caused this unfortunate incident...the irony, it may not have anything to do with the healthcare providers...it may just be the body system of these beautiful souls that was lost too soon.

God comfort the parents
The question is; what actually did those kids receive in the name of vaccines? What quality assurance tests were carried out on those 'vaccines' to ascertain that they actually contained the desired molecules and not some poisonous substances?

People don't know that even improper storage and handling of a drug/vaccines can change it from the desired molecules to a poison! What we see in Nigeria most times is a situation where hospitals don't employ the right professionals but think they can employ just anybody to handle things that were meant to be done by professionals. This leads to cases like what we have in this report.

It is possible the batch of vaccines administered to the twins had been contaminated or expired. They might also have undergone major changes due to poor storage to some toxic products. Those are the possible scenarios that might have resulted to this event.

I just hope the right investigation would be carried out to unearth what actually led to the deaths of the twins
RomanceRe: 2026 And Men Still Want To Marry Virgins ? Upgrade Your Mind by Jman06(m): 12:19pm On Jan 16
Senseless talk. I'll choose a virgin girl over non-virgin ones anytime any day! Being able to keep her virginity in this generation full of debauchery means that she has great values.

Meanwhile, why does it pain you when a guy decides to go for virgins? Are guys not free to make their own choices same way ladies make theirs by insisting on marrying rich men!?
HealthRe: Patients Stranded Across Nigeria As Health Workers’ Strike Enters 3rd Month by Jman06(m): 10:39am On Jan 16
Let the strike continue please! The federal government needs to understand that hospitals are not meant for medical doctors alone! All healthcare professionals are equally important as they play crucial roles in patients care.

The tendency of government to place the needs of medical doctors above those of other healthcare professionals need to be addressed once and for all. At a time when other healthcare professionals in the developed world are undergoing tremendous professional improvements and growths, their Nigerian counterparts are being stunted by medical doctors in connivance with government! That needs to stop! JOHESU should sustain the strike until government takes a decision on what they really want; whether to do away with other professionals from the hospitals and have only medical doctors working there or carry every professional along in terms of remuneration, professional growth and job security.

As a pharmacist, I have made up my mind to leave this hellhole of a country very soon to a developed nation where I can practice with sanity and get properly remunerated for my services. Let the Nigerian medical doctors kill our hospitals for all I care! If Nigerians truly understand and appreciate the roles pharmacists and other healthcare workers are playing in safeguarding their healths they'll not fold their arms and watch medical doctors and government destroy other professional services in our hospitals.

In the missionary hospital where I currently practice, I know how many times my interventions saved patient's lives and also their finances. Most of these medical doctors are grossly deficient in knowledge of drugs! You'll keep correcting the doctors until you get tired and just do the corrections yourself and dispense the right stuff without involving the doctors. Yet, all these interventions we do are not appreciated nor properly remunerated! It's unfair and that is why many pharmacists today are leaving the country.

CrimeRe: Woman Dies Four Months After Doctors Left Scissors Inside Her During Surgery by Jman06(m): 9:52am On Jan 14
thesicilian:
The way the Nigerian social media speaks against doctors, you'd think nobody goes to the hospital anymore .

Even the poll that is put on the thread is strongly biased against the medical doctor, every option indicates one form of punishment or the other, no single room for appropriate investigation or verification of the facts of the case!
Nobody is biased against the doctors. People are only expressing their frustration with the healthcare system in the country. These doctors compromise standards all the time and do just as they please in our hospitals! They truly need to checkmated by ensuring they don't go scot-free after committing medical negligence like this.

Since the government has refused to do the right thing by taking away leadership of our hospitals away from the medical doctors and ensuring that only qualified and neutral healthcare administrators run our hospitals, medical negligence will continue to be the order of the day. This is because the medical doctor leaders of these hospitals will do everything to protect erring doctors because they all belong to the same association (NMA). That is why they frustrate patients who want to seek justice in courts after suffering medical negligence in hospitals.

What is the job of the nurse that assists during operations ? They are meant to take stock of instruments after every operation
"After every operation" you said. This error was made by the surgeon DURING the surgery so don't bring in the nurses here. So, if the nurses take stock AFTER the surgery and discovered that a scissors was missing and it was then found to have been left inside the patient, does that absolve the doctors of negligence?

RomanceRe: Women Are Making Men Angry And The Danger Is Coming Soon by Jman06(m): 7:56pm On Jan 11
I don't think protecting women by men will ever stop because it is a natural instinct of men to protect women. Women are the bearers and nurturers of life so every man that wants his lineage to continue existing would do everything to protect the females around him.

On multiple occasions, I have seen myself protecting women who were in one danger or the other and I often do it involuntarily. So, it's nature at work.

All these gender wars we often fight here are just cruise! Anybody who wants to understand the nature of male-female relationships should think about how the Sun( masculine energy) relates with the moon(feminine energy). The sun works during the day to gather resources which the moon utilises at night to nurture everybody! That's some deep esoteric stuff I have dropped here!

Once I become president ....I will ensure pass mark of all medical exam from first MB to clinicals will be 98% ....

I don't see how getting 55/100 in anatomy should be allowed as pass mark for someone that must know every single aspect of the human body flawlessly or something could go terrible wrong

That's how one doctor suture the rectal passage and the vagina plus the urethra and everything thats close to that area together after fibroid removal......it was a very messy post surgery issue...and they still had the wicked guts to tell the poor woman to pay for corrective surgery.
Raising pass mark is not the solution, after all, there have been cases where people with very high scores made blunders in practice. The solution has to do with curbing corruption in the sector, ensuring strict adherence to standard operating procedures and punishing severely those who failed to comply with set standards.

There's need to encourage patients to seek legal redress when they suffer from any consequences of medical negligence. They should not be hindered from doing so by the hospital management and professional associations like NMA who are known to corruptly protect erring medical doctors.

If patients can freely sue erring medical doctors to courts and get legal redress and the medical doctors are aware of that fact, all of them would sit up. When you give too much room for people to err without consequences, the system eventually collapses.
