There's really need to check population growth in Nigeria especially the northern part of the country! The rate at which our population is soaring is alarming! Think about how bad things could become when we hit a population size of 1billion. With just 200million, the poverty rate is this bad not to talk of when we are up to a billion. Cannibalism might become the order of the day that time o!

The southern part of the country at least have a system that helps check population already, viz-a-viz late marriage, not giving birth to too many kids, and monogamy coupled with better education and interactions with the western world. However, same cannot be said about the north where they believe in political and religious dominance through population explosion, hence they encourage polygamy, early marriage, giving birth to many kids with less number of people (especially girl child) being exposed to western education. In fact, the way the country is going right now, everything is tilted in favour of northern dominance such that they determine who becomes the president of the country. If this continues, I fear that even the "islamization" people keep talking about might just materialize effortlessly one day.

Please I support the building of more universities especially in the north, so that those our brothers up there could be educated enough to see the dangers they're putting the country into when they reproduce uncontrollably.

Much of the little development we see in Imo state today were the efforts of Rochas administration. Remember his investments in the education sector. The thing is, once someone is hated, nothing the person does ever makes sense to the undiscerning and insincere people. I think that's the case with Rochas.

Building facilities is not the problem, but equipping them with the right materials and engaging healthcare professionals to deliver the desired quality healthcare is where the problem lies.

Kudos sha, for at least remembering that healthcare delivery is a necessity for a healthy and functional society.

He did his best for Imo people but some people (not all) disliked him because of the party he belongs to which they hate for the fact that Buhari's government failed to accommodate every part of the country in his appointments. Buhari's lopsided appointments and seeming neglect of the southeast is the genesis of hatred for APC, and by extension, APC's politicians in the region including Rochas.
