okigbojihad:It is you and your father that are f00lz. Go to your universities, especially state owned ones and see them embarrassing education there! |
Mightyhaiz:Direct your anger on those herders. Chase them out your farmland and stop targeting military personnel when they have not done anything to you. |
OdumegwuOjukwu:Ok, continue attacking them nau, but don't you dare run or complain when the war is brought to your doorsteps. You claim to be more educated than the north, yet you want to toe the same path of barbarism in whatever demand you're making. I used to doubt the fact that Yorubas are more educated and sophisticated than us Igbos, but recent trends have shown that they indeed are more educated. Nor be by "sorting" lecturers to acquire fraudulent certificates o. See the way Yorubas asked for Amotekun and got it. They have also successfully driven herdsmen away to a large extent without shooting any soldier or other government officials. Why can't you all use your brains and do that instead of biting more than you can chew ![]() Does it ever occur to you that some of those people killed could be Igbos ![]() |
SisterFire:Now all of you are telling her to shut up! Are you sure you are ready to withstand another round of civil war in Igboland And to think that some of you supporting this barbaric and inhuman act call yourselves graduates tells a lot about how poor standard of education has fallen in the southeast, with foolish and unthinking lecturers that collect bribes to give you undeserved certificates.@post, this act is condemnable and this is the time for Ohanaeze ndiigbo and southeast governors forum to arise and nip this barbarism in the buds. There are legitimate ways of going about self determination without provoking a civil war. |
Onyi22:I don't blame you at all. I blame men who can't control their libidos. If all men were like me ehn, ladies would be the ones begging for sexx to enable them procreate. |
All these uninformed IPOB dullards should better watch it. Non of them have witnessed what a war situation looks like. My dad fought in the Biafra/Nigeria civil war and from his narratives, such situation isn't what any sane person would wish for his loved ones. If it were only me, I would say no problem. But I have people I would never wish to see suffer in the name of any unnecessary civil war. PS: I'll personally lead Nigerian army to fish out all the IPOB members in my area in the event that they succeed in instigating a war situation in Igboland. |

Nonsense! What's my business with a long throated slay queen who left all the young men in her circle and decided to marry for money ![]() Only jobless people will be attacking Fani Kayode (who might even be the real victim). #JusticeForFaniKayode |
All other doubters of covid19 shall be struck by a deadlier variant of the virus. Yahaya Bello should take note |
Hope the two of you ain't doing drugs anymore ![]() Drug is a killer! A thorough check would reveal that most of our dead and dying nollywood actors and actresses were into drug abuse and misuse. |
That's a good one from Buhari! That road has been giving me serious worries since time immemorial. Kudos to Buhari and APC on this one. |
This mess has continued because Nigerian government has refused to strictly regulate drugs use generally. For that reason, people (especially those from southeast) don't see drug trafficking, abuse and misuse as a serious issue. Until Nigerian government begins to strictly control drugs and educate the populace about the problems drugs can cause to their health, finances and general well being, Nigerians (especially southeasters) would continue to see drugs like any other commodity that can be sold and used anyhow. |
When the people he was fighting for turned against him, what do you expect him to do other than run for his dear life. There's a reason why some people are hell bent on frustrating western education in the north. That is because they know that having the majority of the people dwell in ignorance is the easiest way to keep them perpetually manipulated and exploited. They won't even know their rights as a people, and anybody who tries to educate them or fight the systemic subjugation is seen as the enemy. Education is the best gift to give to mankind! |
dominique:It is not only bacteria that cause food poisoning. Anything that introduces toxic chemical into food is a food poison. |
donbachi:That's too weakest of reasons to get married! |
mutter:Once they have made up their minds to deal with you, nothing changes it. No pity. No forgiveness! That is one aspect that makes our African ladies preferable. At least when a guy fuccks up with our ladies, he can always negotiate his way out through begging and pampering(in most cases). Well, except for the arrogant and misogynistic guys. |
And this one is a PhD holder o! All these arts and management "copy and paste" PhD holders sef. They're just embarrassing PhD upandan. |
This is a damning report that should be taken seriously by all and sundry! One in ten people is a huge number! Aside the other factors listed by the NMA chair, indiscriminate use of prescription drugs is a major predisposing factor to the rising cases of kidney disease. I know this fact because I lost a loved one to prescription drugs induced kidney disease! I think the situation might get worse if urgent steps are not taken to address cases of quacks (aided by open market drug dealers) who administer drugs unnecessarily and indiscriminately to the uninformed public. |
Chairman NMA, Abia State, Dr Chimezie Okwuonu, who made the disclosure at an event to mark the 2021 World Kidney Day called on government to equip General and Specialist hospitals in the state to do kidney function tests for all patients at affordable cost. The NMA boss also appealed to local government authorities to equip the primary health centres in the state with capacity to do routine blood pressure check and analysis of urine at every patient’s visit. “These centres need to be equipped with necessary facilities and manpower to take care of kidney patients”, Okwuonu said. He lamented that the causes of kidney disease such as hypertension, diabetes, HIV/AIDS and herbal concoctions are on the increase. According to him, the prevailing poor economy and the harmful effects of covid-19 pandemic are fuelling the recent jump in prevalence of kidney disease in Nigeria as most patients are unable to buy medications for hypertension and diabetes , the two big causes of kidney disease in Abia state, The Consultant Nephrologist further expressed worry that even young people are being diagnosed with kidney related diseases on daily basis. ALSO READ: NAFDAC destroys counterfeit drugs, products worth over N613m in Kano He said Government’s urgent intervention in providing treatment for kidney patients had become necessary because “treatment of kidney diseases is out of reach of an average Nigerian and most people die because of financial constraints to care.” Okwuonu called on the Federal Government to subsidize at least two sessions of dialysis per week to enable patients with kidney disease live well. He also advocated the extension of National Health Insurance Scheme, NHIS, to accommodate end-stage renal disease to help save more lives. Dr Okwuonu who said World kidney Day was a day set aside by the World Health Organization (WHO) each year to talk about the importance of kidney health, pledged the willingness of Abia doctors to complement efforts to combat kidney related ailments. The NMA boss commended the kidney transplant team, staff and management of FMC Umuahia for a successful 10th kidney transplant. According to him, “the consistency and tenacity with which the hospital executes this program is very encouraging”. “This is the first centre in South East Nigeria and remains the only center with regular transplant activity in South East and South South Nigeria”, he added. Okwuonu disclosed that Abia NMA “shall soon commence a legislative process of passing an anti- quackery bill which shall make Abia state unsafe for quacks and promote good medical practice in Read more at: https://www.vanguardngr.com/2021/03/one-out-of-10-abians-suffering-from-kidney-disease-nma/ |
Enjoyment is an illusion! Name one thing you consider enjoyment and tell me how long you can last on it before getting tired of it. Just do your part in making the world a better place for those coming after us. When your time is up, take a bow and let the younger generation continue so that life on earth can go on as the master wants it. |
Congratulations to you, my brother and next door neighbor! Air force college Agbani is doing really great! That was a legacy of our amiable former governor and senator, Dr Chimaroke Ogbonnaya Nnamani(MD, FACOG). |
feezay86:That's typical of most pharmacists I have met. They always carry that their slogan "men of honor" wherever they are. |
Mandela27:There may not be much fun in Bonny now because LNG seems to have finished most of their contracts there. I was there during one of the trains and the the place was fun then because many whities were there and night life was booming. I stayed in Finima though. |
Why una nor dey allow other people marry una fine girls, yet you want others to accept you ![]() |
You people should continue investing in rubbish, you hear I can see that COVID19 did not teach you guys any lessons, but I know that a disease worse than COVID19 is on the way. Don't invest in research o. Leave your healthcare sector to rot away o. Keep hoping on white men to always come to your rescue o. You sow frivolity, you reap frivolity! |
I used to dislike Osinbajo, but some steps he took on those occasions he was acting president in Buhari's absence made me to change my mind about him. He actually showed that if he had the powers, he would do things differently and much better. I took note of those steps! @topic, the major thing dividing this country is RELIGION. How I wish more Nigerians would stop taking Arabic and Israelis religions too serious! The fear of dominance of one of the two religions over the other would continue to perpetually divide Nigerians! |
catfrog10:You are not from the east! |
I hope the government is learning how evercare structured its management team? It is not an all-physicians affair! When you have an all-physicians managed healthcare system, there's a higher tendency for the physicians to lose focus on delivering expert medical services! They'll spend more time playing politics than they would sourcing knowledge and following trends in medical practice. They'll also engage in more rivalry with other healthcare professionals and at the end, we'll have poor output from them. This is one of the reasons our healthcare system has remained in a mess! It is not only about poor funding from government like they'll want us to believe! |
I hope Oshiomole has learnt that in politics, there are times you have to stoop to conquer since the goal is not to be permanent enemies ![]() |
I think the hate in recent times was fueled by Nnamdi Kanu's initial tactics of castigating every other tribes especially Yorubas. Good that Kanu has become reasonable enough to stop castigating the Yorubas---many of whom are also tired of the way Nigeria is run and also want at least a restructuring of the country. Many reasonable and honest Yorubas want the status quo in Nigeria changed, so why not work with them instead of against them like Kanu was initially doing? |
Someone of Emefiele's pedigree can afford any house in any part of the world! Savings from his salary and allowances alone as zenith bank MD can build such house, not to talk of other legitimate investments he must have done. If one small boy somewhere can invest in crypto and make so much money in dollars, then you should expect much more from a banking giant like Emefiele. Let's focus on our politicians who have no other lives outside politics but are looting funds meant for development. |
