Ceenelly:That means he has his own camp in the community who opposed the emergence of the king. And these people speaking now are clearly from that camp. If the king was duly elected/chosen by the majority of the community, it then means that whatever actions Ned and his camp are taking now spilled from that kingship tussle and are unjustified. |
When the rich and affluent keep shortchanging and subjugating the poor and downtrodden, with the hope of continually using them to achieve political powers, the result is always similar to the problem of banditry currently ravaging the north. This is especially when such poor people are denied good western education. With western education, they'll revolt intellectually without spilling blood, but without western education, the revolution is always bloody! |
Was Ned ever interested in the traditional stool of Idumuje kingdom And I mean either direct or indirect interest That information could help us judge this matter well. |
Charles Chukwuma Soludo is the spiritually ordained next governor of Anambra state! Take that to the bank! |
Men should pay all the bills in their homes but we should stop sending our girl children to schools except if they'll be studying only home economics and management. Women should happily embrace their positions in the kitchen as cooks, home keepers and mothers. Enough of all the agitations for women empowerment and gender equality! I believe everybody will be fine if we put the above suggestions into effect. |
This is why house of reps should be very careful with their plan to legalize medical marijuana! We are yet to get things right with ethical drugs regulation in Nigeria! Until drug regulatory agencies like PCN, NDLEA and NAFDAC are well equipped and provided good legal framework to punish drug offenders, it'll be catastrophic to legalize Indian hemp in Nigeria. We'll just create a generation of mad men and women whereas death rate will skyrocket. A word is enough....... |
That slap was well deserved by the evil woman. No need to apologize |
Congratulations to you, sir! |
A country that have not been able to regulate other ethical therapeutic drugs effectively, how would they be able to control medical marijuana ![]() |
obembet:No mind them! Na when person suffer finish succeed dem dey wan claim the person. No single Igbo group sponsors a scholarship for Igbo students o, even bursary allowances, igbo states don't pay to their students! But everyday I hear them shouting "igboamaka" after one gets done training himself in school and succeeds at it. Nonsense and igboamaka! |
No difference between internet fraudsters, armed robbers, kidnappers etc. They're all criminals and none should be treated with kid's gloves. Imagine the kind of society we'll be building for our unborn generations if we normalize internet frauds. Before you condemn EFCC, just pause for a moment and THINK. Kudos to the men of EFCC. |
Administration1:That is not the issue! No one has 100% clean bill of health! Health is managed especially for people who have passed adolescent age. The problem is with our poor healthcare system and poor health-seeking attitudes of Nigerians! Nigerians need to change their mentality and seek healthcare from professionals who are trained for that purpose. They need to stop self medication and seek proper medical care! |
Imagine the kind of value system our corrupt political leaders bequeathed to us when they enthroned corruption and looting of public treasury! Thieves that should be hiding their faces in shame now protest to be left alone to operate. How pathetic! |
beautyhd:Who knows the amount of insults he might have endured from the wife for temporarily losing his status as the breadwinner of the family. Not justifying his killing the wife but I think Nigerian women need to realize that it is not an abomination for them to shoulder their family's financial responsibilities when their men are financially down. Why do we have women empowerment advocacies if women cannot HAPPILY use their finances to support their homes ![]() This is the reason why most men, including myself, would rather marry a jobless illiterate that possess desirable physical attributes than marry so called working class ladies whose finances will be useless to them. Her job will be to keep the homes in order. That is what most Nigerian ladies want and why it is uselessless advocating for women empowerment and gender equality in Nigeria. |
I think this is a permissible unprofessional conduct! Uneducated religious Nigerians are worse than the devil himself. |
Good morning to you |
maasoap:His Islamic name is Munir |
maasoap:Christianity to Islam |
maasoap:Christianity to Islam |
Even the fact that Ned had to change religion to give room for him to marry as many wives as possible shows that he is a shady and selfish character. Why is he fighting his own community for crying out loud There's nothing philanthropic about him if he cannot give up on those lands and allow peace reign in his community! Charity begins at home! |
Let them go abeg |
Christianity is a better religion because Christians are more tolerant to free thinking and divergent views than Muslims. Please my Igbo people, do not give to room to that cankerworm called Islam in Igboland! |
It's very annoying that the northern leaders appear to pay deaf ears to the burning issues that led to the ban of open grazing in the south. They're just concerned about their parochial northern interests without considering the plight of southerners. Cost of staple food has skyrocketed in the south while famine looms as people's farmlands have been taken over by the herders! What do they want us to do Fold our arms and die of hunger Or perhaps their plan is to create more markets for northern farmers by destroying southern farms with the help of the herdsmen So they can sell foodstuff to us at exorbitant prices? There are many northerners residing and doing other legitimate businesses in the south and nobody is preventing them. However, the herdsmen are too problematic and deadly, hence they should leave our lands! |
I'm very happy at the current state of relationship between southern Nigerians. If we continue like this, the north will thread with caution and stop taking us for fools in this country. My Igbo brothers, especially, need to stop making references to the past failed relationship with Awolowo and try relating with Yorubas again. I believe both sides are now better informed. This is the 21st century and we have western education and even religion in common. Those should unite us! |

Never regret leaving a lady! As for her being the owner of a cosmetic brand, don't even think that would have been of any benefit to you because a woman's money is a woman's money. You know the drills! As for her now looking beautiful, her beauty at the moment is obviously cosmetic and does not change her genes of ugliness. |
Thank goodness they finally woke up from their slumber. There's a reason why the likes of Ortom and plateau people have been opposed to open grazing and Fulani herdsmen! No southern leader is more Nigerian than Ortom and so, none should allow the occupation of southern villages by the herders! |
stunnert:Nonsense! Do you know why life expectancy is so poor in Nigeria It is because of negligence on the part of medical practitioners. How do you explain the fact that someone walked into the hospital unaided and with mild symptoms only to die the next minute upon being administered some injections Medical negligence and malpractices is a very big problem contributing to untimely deaths in this country! The chase for money is a major contributing factor to the problem. Our medical practitioners no longer update themselves on best medical practices! Everybody is only concerned about money! Many hospitals in Nigeria are more or less scam centers where people scam others with the claim of providing medical care. Everybody behaves anyhow because they know they can get away with malpractices. You'll not understand until you lose a loved one to the mess. |
Magnoliaa:FULL |
My people have a saying that when a man calls his golden plate trash, strangers will pack sand with it. |
JonDon12:Yoruba people don't hate Igbos and that is why you can run your mouth freely in Lagos and other southwest states and not get attacked, something you wouldn't dare in Kano and other northern states! But some of you call them cowards for that due to your lack of knowledge! Mind you, I'm Igbo and I know the above fact. |
Tedpgrass:You seem to be one of the few sensible medics. Perhaps, you trained or practice abroad. Nigerian medical doctors have shown over the years that they lack the selflessness to run a robust healthcare system and I believe this is as a result of the interference of their professional union in the running of the system. They stunt the growth of our health sector! I can only support a doctor who trained in the west -- especially one who has additional qualification in health administration and management, to lead our health sector, and even at that, he/she must distance himself/herself from NMA and their parochial interests. That's the only way they can successfully manage our health sector! Aside my dislike for the myopic way they run our health sector, I have nothing personal against our docs. |
