Education › Re: Nurse Or Pharmacist Which Is The Best. by Jman06(m): 7:30pm On Sep 21, 2019
sassysure:
I live in developed world o.
A pharm can only dispense drug here unless u have a written prescription. All other drugs that can be bought over the counter can be sold by anybody.
What do Nigerian pharmacists do?
They are Dr, they are pharmacist, they are nurse, they even do d and c, they are medical lab specialists, name them
I hit a nerve.
In fact they are everywhere.

Most of the death we witness in Nigeria are when pharmacists decide to play the role of Dr etc.
I am not a novice in the field so shut up.

Aside paracetamol and orange vitamin c, what else can u produce in school lab?
The active ingredients for the so called paracetamol is imported. What can a Nigerian pharmacist do?
All the drugs in Nigerian market are imported. That's how pathetic u guys are.
The only thing they are good at is liaising with drug importers so they will use their certificates to import drugs for them. Pay them as agreed.
Let me not open your nyash.
The most useless profession in Nigeria.os pharmacy.

The only hospital I have seen where pharmacists do their work is shell hospital and guess what?
It operates on international standard.
I can bet anything to the fact that you don't live in a developed country! Even Ghana doesn't allow quacks to sell drugs in their country!

Nigerian system created what they term "patent medicine dealers" who have bastardized the Nigerian drug market and you're blaming pharmacists for it. Pharmacists are very honest professionals and it is just unfortunate that Nigerian government have refused to grant them the full legal and political backing they need to regulate the drug market.
No pharmacy owned and ran by a pharmacist would engage in D&C or operate outside their scope of training. But because the government have refused to regulate our drug market, anybody can just open drug store and start doing all sort of quack medical practices just to make money and FOOLS like you would turn around and blame pharmacists! How I wish we have a listening government!

Take for instance, the drug TRAMADOL which was supposedly banned by Nigerian government is still being sold in patent medicine stores today because the guys at Onitsha bridge head still distribute trams to to the patent medicine dealers. I know a guy who was addicted to tramadol and do you know where he goes to get the drug? To the patent medicine stores! Each time he tries to buy the drug from pharmacies, they refuse to sell to him unless there's a prescription from a doctor. What he did was to stop going to pharmacies to ask for the drug but go straight to the "chemist" guys!
Now, your type will blame pharmacists for still having the drug in circulation but you will not blame government for refusing to give the pharmacists the legal support to ensure proper regulations.

How I wish you know what pharmacists go through in school! How I wish you know how rigorous the training is! Pharmacists go through a lot in school and that is why they come out REFINED! They are truly men of honor! So, stop accusing them of crimes committed by quacks with government approval! Respect those guys! It is not easy to be a pharmacist!!

Do Nigeria have pharmacists?
They sell drugs not make them.
They wanna do the work of the Dr,nurses, lab guy at the same time.
They even add supermarket join grin
Go to any big drug shop and see them.
Continue to display your ignorance for the whole world to see! So, who else should "sell'' drugs if not pharmacists? Do you know that in the developed countries, no drugstore opens without a superintendent pharmacist? And even if the pharmacist goes for lunch the pharmacy must remain closed until he/she is backhuh
Do you know why? Because they understand the dangers of uncontrolled drug use and the inherent disease burden it creates for the the nation and the high morbidity and mortality rate that can result from drug misuse and abuse.

Nigerian pharmacists don't make drugs according to you yet you take emzor paracetamol and other drugs made in Nigeria.

Chartey:
The problem with this thread is that the answers are from people who are outside the sector.
Opportunities keep increasing continuously for nurses. Even in Nigeria, nurses get NGO jobs more than even doctors, occupational health nurses are more in demand in companies. A traditional hospital can only employ a few pharmacists but majority of staff will be nurses and most reputable facilities are employing degree nurses now.
Overall, both are great professions but I think nurses have more opportunities currently.
You have limited knowledge about pharmacy!

Those alluding to the fact that nurses have better opportunities abroad seem not to be aware that no pharmacy opens in America even when the pharmacist is only out for lunch. The pharmacy must remain closed until the pharmacist is back from lunch. They also don't know about NAPLEX which qualifies a Nigerian trained pharmacist for licensure in the US.

Where pharmacists can work include:

Hospital, academic, Industry (production, quality control, sales etc), community, NGOs, Government agencies and parastatals, research institutions, military, etc

In a nutshell, pharmacists have broader scope of work than nurses.

If a course is not training you for a specific career path, then read that course at your own risk.

No be today... we have thousands of youths in her position roaming the streets.

Universities should stop dishing out useless degrees that cannot get people gainfully employed after graduation.

People should rather go to polytechnics and other vocational institutions to learn good vocations than wasting their time and resources studying some courses in the university!

The constant attribution of all vices in society to leadership is a gross abdication of responsibility on the part of parents, communities and elders, who tolerate the terrible vices being perpetrated by the substantial number of miscreants we have in our midst. We can build bigger jails and a larger police force for security , but if we do not use a 'Charity begins at home ' approach to eradicating crime and wickedness in our midst, it will just be a black hole for spending more of our taxes.

You guys need to start being accoutable for your actions. Don't take the easy way out by blaming others for your actions.
The leaders are elected to serve the people and provide an enabling environment for the people to live meaningful lives.

social vices are also part of the problems leaders are meant to provide solution to.

In the developed world people don't go blaming the society for social vices like you're doing. They hold the leaders responsible for those vices. It's just like American government turning to blame Americans for mass shooting taking place there instead of proffering solution to the problems.
Crimes are inevitable in human societies and every responsible government should find a way of reducing crime in the society. That is why security is a crucial part of manifestoes for anybody vying for the presidency of any country. Those who aren't capable of providing solution to problems (like Buhari) should simply stay away from holding such important position as the President of a country. Enough of all the excuses and blame games!

Ever heard of personal accountability and responsibility ?

Imagine if I told a judge that the reason why I killed four Ghana girls was because of poor leadership in my country ?

SMH at people like you.
We know that criminals abound everywhere and responsible nations put measures in place to checkmate crimes. But your failed country under the leadership of the dullard-in- chief has failed to provide security which is a core responsibility of government. Yet, in your foolishness you think the government should be absolved of blames!

When unemployment rate is at all-time high, economy is very unfavorable for businesses to thrive while hunger and restlessness is the order of the day, some people are bound to take to crime for survival. It is inevitable(though regrettable).

The government should first do the right thing before holding citizens accountable!

I am saying we should not blame him for all the ILLS of society. Many of these issues we are facing today existed before he came to power.
Ever heard about the saying that when the head is rotten the whole body is affected?

All the problems we have in this country are due to bad leadership!
Until we the Nigerian people rise up in revolution and hold the leaders accountable, Nigerians will continue to suffer in abject poverty that breeds all manner of societal ills.

I don't blame your likes, it's either you are totally ignorant of how developed countries hold their leaders accountable and get them do the right thing or you're just another asslicker who thinks that by writing rubbish here, Buhari would call you to aso rock and hand you a meal ticket.

What's your problem with the lifestyles of these three womenhuh

Someone needs to remind the writer of this article that variety is the spice of life.

Though personally I may not agree with some aspects of their lifestyles, but I'm aware that there are men out there who are dying to have those kind of ladies.
That is why I believe they should be left alone! Writing articles about their lifestyles is very unnecessary.

There are more pressing issues to be written about than dwelling on the lives of Ceec, Tboss and Tacha.

Every country has a right to develop its own policy; Nigeria has decided for itself to insist on those involved in teaching must have basic qualification in education, to ensure such persons can actually impart their acquired knowledge to their students - I personally don't see anything wrong with the rationale; especially as most professions have similar requirements.
Having a PGDE is absolutely unnecessary for one to impart requisite knowledge to students. The key thing is RESEARCH and any teacher who regularly carries out researches in a field would impart more knowledge in that field regardless he/she has a PGDE.

It's funny how you want to be more catholic than the Pope.

It is a fundamental requirement for teachers to have basic qualification in education; it is one thing to be knowledgeable and quite another to have the requisite skills to impart it - PGDE seems to address that problem and hence mandatory for all educationists.

You are correct about his education. I vaguely saw something on that topic and did not delve into it further.

I think it’s just convenient to automatically view the woman as the evil one. When the man is just as guilty. This speaks to your great hypocrisy and why MGTOW is filled with lunatics. Who are focused on one thing only, negativity and hate towards women. Which woman hurt you this much?

In those days, hardcore gays who were not clergy claimed they were celibate. Sodomy was a big crime. The only way you can prove someone is gay is if they expressly State it or they are caught in the act. Newton was a gay man. A straight man will not have the relationships he had with men.

Newton was a lonely man. Very lonely, probably because he was gay and a bit crazy. Tough time to be gay in that era not to talk of crazy.

Catholic priests APPEAR to be celibate just like Newton. It really doesn’t mean they are. If you say you are not gay, that’s fine. Maybe you need to stop following closeted gay men doctrines that teach female hate and call something as wonderful as the vagina grin, which brings forth all human life as SMELLY PUSSY!

Look at your actions and the ones you follow so blindly with a questioning mind.
You still have no good evidence to prove that Newton was gay! Relating with fellow men doesn't make a man gay! There are male friends who are so close to each other and have each other's backs yet nothing sexual takes place between them.

Just know that a guy can decide to stay celibate, work hard, make his money and will all his wealth to relatives and charity when he dies. How many ladies out there are even lively to be with?? Nigerian ladies don't provide solution to loneliness, instead they'll even make things worse. This is the 21st century and there are so many things to keep me excited and busy without getting embroiled with WOEmen.

What I have realised from talking with mgtow and redpill losers is that they are just angry about not being able to get the kind of woman they desire so they childishly resort to insulting all women on earth and swearing to avoid all of us as if we all ganged up to cause their frustration.

Men are free to go their own fvcking way, they should go, get the fvck out, get lost! Leave women alone ooo, men, please leave them. Maybe then all these violent crimes perpetrated against women will drastically reduce, no rapes, no serial killing like the ones in port Harcourt, no domestic assaults or armed robberies from their criminal minded asses.

I strongly believe women will be far happier without marriage, if they stuck with their families and raised kids with her own family instead of the traditional system of women abandoning her father's name and adopting the name of some loser that will most likely maltreat her and cheat on her without remorse at least her blood family will show her more love and care then the family of strangers she was forced to join and adopt the name of because she married some guy.

And the nerve of those deluded mgtow fools to claim men don't gain anything from marriage.
The fvcking nerve.

You he goats are the ones who own children from marital unions, they bear your names, not wives names, after a poor woman goes through the pain and misery of pregnancy and childbirth and raising the kids the man gets to claim them as belonging to his family and having his place as state of origin.
You he goats are the ones cheating on your wives with impunity and getting away with it because African society overlooks your bullshit, infecting wives with all manner of stds and still expecting respect and submission from her.
Where in Nigeria do women just relax and let men provide everything without working and supporting him? Where? Which part?

Stupid lonely socially inept whiners. You go on the Internet where you spend your entire lives and read about the travails of men in western countries where their laws and ways of life differ greatly from what obtains in Africa but you stupidly decide to adopt their movement in Nigeria because you all are fools that cannot think for yourselves.

Please get lost and go your own way as quickly as possible. Idiots

But, what about the husband who refused for a single mother to bring in her son. We know how life was for single parents then. He is not selfish and wickedhuh At least the mother was able to use the wealthy man’s money to educate her son, which is why you have Newton’s Genius today.

You say he was not lonely? So you know better than all the sources cited in his era from your Nigerian enclave? Lmao!

A man who lived in the same room with another man for 20yrs and exchanged such letters with a younger gay man? Keep deceiving yourself. Lmao. His letters are public, you can request access to clear all doubt. Newton was a gay man who was a genius. He lived a lonely, depressed and sad life because he was repressed just like you!

Yes you are a gay man. Only closeted gay men are repulsed by pussy and talk about women this way. You are just not out of the closet yet wink.
As usual, you must justify women's evil deeds with what men did! The second husband owed her no obligations to raise her offspring from the first marriage!
Point of correction, she never used the man's money to educate Newton. Newton was trained mainly by self-help and by contributions from the missionary.
His mother even wanted him to become a farmer!

Newton lived for 84yrs. He was once a member of the parliament and also a Knight of the church of England. A man with all those accomplishments couldn't have been lonely because success attracts people.

FYI, if I were gay, I wouldn't be in closet. My kind of person would damn whatever people have to say and express my sexuality. But I'm not and will never be. It's just like saying that all catholic priests are gay because they don't get married.
