so we are not even the majority yet we are being targeted. ....at times I wonder why we are so much hated across the globe..May God help Nigeria!
The reason is simply bad leadership. Bad leadership has turned many Nigerians against their own country, so no patriotism, no love for fellow citizens and no love for the country! My people have a saying that when a man decides to call his treasure rubbish, strangers would have no choice than treat such treasure as rubbish.

Sometimes I feel pity for the Igbos and how they relegated themselves in the scheme of things.

In politics, it’s about knowing when to build and switch alliance, and no permanent enemies. The SW is a region that have eschew the ideology of blame game. Even when we are in the opposition, we’ve always coordinated with tact and we know outright hatred in politics is devastating.

Now the Igbos, a majority who always have the SS in their bag are afraid to even contest for the primary presidential ticket of PDP, a party they have always been loyal to all their lives. The reason is that while other tribesmen are building bridges, the Igbo man believes the world is an island, and thinking he can achieve everything alone.

I don’t know about the loyalty of the North, whether they will vote for a SW or not, but I’m very sure the North will know that keeping power above 2023 might be dangerous for the unity of Nigeria.

As for those who said the Yorubas don’t show unity in voting, write this down, if the APC brings out a credible Yoruba man, then you should be rest assured he will get a block vote in the SW.

Anytime a Yoruba man is on the ballot, SW voting pattern changes and they give at least 85%:
Abiola had it.
Falae had it.
Obasanjo had it for his second term.
BAT/Fashola/Osinbajo will also have it.
Why does it concern you so much about how Igbos decide to play their politicshuh Spare us all the sanctimonious rants and play your own game in 2023. Igbos will play theirs and at the end we'll know how far. You think you are the only one that know how to play the spoiler game the way you played it against GEJ in 2015. You all accused GEJ of all whatnot and strategically took power out of south. I wonder the sin committed by GEJ that has not been doubled by Buhari's government, but you all lost your voices because of your selfish political ambition come 2023. We are watching and will not hesitate to pay you back in your own coin come 2023.

There are people like us that if you offend us or plan to offend us or our loved ones, you get the instant repercussions.
Someone has died because he was planning to severely hurt someone who's so dear to me.
Also, just last week a lady tried to eat my money. I bought something from her through transfer. She saw the money and pretended that she hasn't seen the alert. I had to go get raw cash to pay for the stuff I needed. In the night, that lady's shop was attacked for the first time by armed robbers and she lost so much. When I came to their shop the following morning, nor be person tell am make she give me my money.

Can we describe the above as witchcraft too?? Or just law of cause and effect at work.

Lol, I have this thing...I'm not sure what to call it (an aura perhaps?) that makes people do & say weird things.
I cannot speak of social media experiences because I'm not big on that. However, I could write a book on the craziest things I've seen & heard in my waking life.

One time I was having a random conversation with a tattoo artist in my area. Out of the blue, he asked if I wanted to see his penìs tattoo & before I could grasp out a response, Jack was already out of the pulpit. It was just bizarre. I didn't find that particular incident annoying though. What I find annoying is the fact that people seem to feel (free?) enough around me to say & do inappropriate things. I'm not talking only about people I'm acquainted with (like the tattoo guy), but also random strangers I don't know from Adam. I've seem more penìses than a whòrehouse wench. Strangely enough, this didn't start now. We moved from my early childhood home because my father beat up a neighbour for exposing himself to me. I believe I was 8 or 9 at the time. It has happened so often that now I almost expect it & that's the annoying part of it.
Maybe you're the jovial type that people readily feel at home with... I like that attribute a lot in ladies, I mean easygoing ladies with aura of humility that can make me feel at ease talking with her. Any lady can readily sweep me off my feet by being that simplistic.

No party would zone it's candidature to a restricted region, rather, it's going to be zoned to a full region, either North or South.

No any sane party will zone it's ticket to SE. The one that does, has outrightly loss the election.

in 2023, I think APC will give both the SW, SS and SE the opportunity to field a candidate to represent the entire south, just like PDP did in 2019. In the end, SW candidate will emerge because they have played their card well. the party would pick the VP candidate from the North to attract votes. in the end, easterners are just going to shout "marginalization" for some time and nothing more. they would resort to support PDP candidate even though they aren't flying it's card.

APC will win convincingly with block of votes from SW and North, power of incumbency. Remember, Votes from SE hardly make any difference in a free and fair election

life goes on.
You must be suffering from chronic delusion. Even northerners know that Southwest votes hardly make a difference in deciding who wins presidential election. Remember that in both 2015 and 2019 general elections, APC recorded only a small margin of win against PDP in the southwest; less than 300k votes in the entire region! Such a paltry number of votes can never make anyone president in Nigeria compared to the bloc votes PDP gets from the southeast.

An alliance between the north and southeast/south south come 2023 will guarantee a win for the PDP.
I know that many of you are aware of that fact and that is why you're trying hard to pit the Southeast against the north. I expect to see more of your attempts at creating a strife between the north and southeast as the 2023 elections approach. I just hope that northerners would not fall for such gimmick.

You are not even shameful to demand presidency ticket from APC you hate with Passion?

Why can't you guys demand presidency ticket from PDP after all PDP is the only party you have been loyal to for more than 20 years?

Are you guys servants of the North in PDP?

APC presidential Ticket is not for Charity
It amazes me how some of you are quick to accuse others of "hate". APC failed to do their homework well in the southeast so as to win the people's heart, hence they massively lost in the region during the general election. How does that imply they're hatedhuh In a democracy, is it the people that should go to a political party or is the party that ought to work hard to win the support of the peoplehuh

PDP has remained a trusted party and friend of the people of the southeast since 1999 and it'll take something as great as their presidential ticket for APC to break that bond between the PDP and the southeast. If they're not ready to make that sacrifice, then they shouldn't bother about whether southeast gets PDP's presidential ticket or decides to support a northerner come 2023.

On what justifications should Apc give their presidential tickets to SE?

Is it too hard for SE to demand presidency from the party they have been zombied loyal to for years?
Like I implied before, we owe you no explanation as to the strategy we decide to adopt in 2023 presidential election. If we decide not to seek PDP's presidential ticket come 2023, it's a political strategy and so it shouldn't be your problem.

Of course, you can't get it, cos its a question no one from SE is ready to answer.. They prefer to queue behind Northern candidates in 2023
Yes bro, if APC refuses to zone their presidential ticket to the southeast, we'll support a northern candidate from PDP! It's just a political strategy and we owe you no apology for whatever strategy we decide to adopt.

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Reasons Why Most Nigerian Graduates Are Not Employable by Jman06(m): 1:36pm On Aug 31, 2019
Op, I agree with your number one point completely!
People should choose their courses of study in line with societal needs. They should not be deceived by those who go with the mantra "it doesn't matter what one studies in the university".
Truth is that you cannot study fishery ( for example) and then expect NNPC to employ you when they have no need for fishery graduates.

The system needs to be reorganized! Vocational and technical education should be emphasized over some courses. Someone who studied graphic designing in a polytechnic or vocational institution is far better than someone who graduated with first-class in chemistry but cannot find a job in the labour market.

While I don't support Nigerians who do crime in South Africa, I believe the law enforcement agencies in SA are to blame for not doing their jobs. They should step up security in the country and arrest anybody involved in crime, prosecute and punish them accordingly.

Those doing legit businesses should be allowed to do their businesses. It's a free world!! South Africans should not forget that they also have businesses thriving in other countries, Nigeria inclusive.

Having all foreigners leave South Africa will never make things better for the average South African. A lazy ass South African would still be lazy!!!

jesmond3945:
Op your write up is purely your opinion. It is only an idiot that would go abroad to get a degree just to come and land a job in naija. Your abroad degree gives you international experience, exposes you on how to interact and collaborate with multinationals, exposes you to latest in technology and how to conduct independent study, most importantly how to make logical arguments and present your information. There are other benefits. You cannot compare the efficiency of someone who schooled abroad and someone in Nigeria to a job, they are miles apart. So dont judge the quality of a degree from the point of getting local jobs but what impact it creates in the economy. Afterall it is not their fault that Nigeria rewards mediocrity.
While I agree with you that degrees gotten from some Western countries have high values, it must be pointed out that not all foreign degrees are worth all the accolades, and not all Nigerian universities produce "mediocre " graduates.

If you ever studied in a typical Nigerian federal university, you'll agree with me that many of our universities are actually doing well in terms of producing quality graduates. Don't forget that it is still many Nigerian graduates that go out there and outperform their peers from other countries at postgraduate schools in those foreign universities.

Stop blaming innocent society on this! Nobody forces anyone to get married! Even guys face the normal "go and marry" talks but they don't let that drive them into taking irrational decision.
Ladies all over the world are known to crave marriage with their so called prince charming. That is why yahoo guys take advantage of them a lot. It is in every woman's DNA to crave marriage! Don't blame the society
