charzyh2:And I thought adversities of life are only meant for unbelievers ( according to some Christians trying to convert me). |
Naijafull19:One doesn't need to be a Christian to know that it's wrong to steal or to do wrong to others. |
Funmmyastic:He meant that they shouldn't have been kidnapped in the first place! The omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent god to whom they pay tithes should have saved them from the kidnappers |
Why I find it so difficult to believe the Christian preachings! We were told God is omnipresent, omnipotent and omniscient, but in cases like this when "god" is supposed to show his prowess and further win more followers for himself, he fails! Well, I think I would have to start pretending that I believe even when I know deep down that all na wash! Nigerian Christians would rather have you pretend that you believe than being told the truth! Wise men don't really make good Christians!!! |
Chima is a good example of the saying that "whom God has blessed, no man can curse" If Fr Mbaka were God, Chima would have been long dead. But alas, here is Ebeano still balling hard! Nice man with so many great ideas that have remained unmatched by his successors in Enugu state government. |
hpymoment:Do you want me to post my BSc certificate (2-1) before you believe?? In my class, I have 3 chemistry graduates who had to write JAMB and come back to school! |
hpymoment:Those are easy to grab if one has the basic knowledge of chemistry! Just one department in pharmacy for eg covers all the courses you did in chemistry (in some cases *2 sef). Students in medical and healthcare courses not only contend with having to work hard to understand the numerous courses they are offering, the Nigerian system also set so many other hurdles which one has to cross before graduating. So, you saying that chemistry is "harder" is not true!!! Mind you, I don't disregard chemistry graduates because I understand that they also are important. I'm just trying to make you understand that it's not rosy in those places you think are easy, because I have been to both sides. |
hpymoment:I didn't read chemistry as a borrowed course. I have a degree in chemistry! |
Tell your friend to go back to his school or any university within his region and pick up MSc form. While doing MSc he should try and build a good rapport with his lecturers. They'll fix him up after MSc so he can start up as an assistant lecturer and then proceed to PhD. People should try to understand the courses they are selecting in JAMB and the purposes such courses are designed to serve before choosing it. |
hpymoment:What is so hard about chemistry please It is an interesting course and I like it( one of my A courses), but to say it is harder than Mls and medical courses is an exaggeration. @op, pls go for Mls for your own good! But if you really are in love with PIC, then go for it but be prepared to return to school after first degree for your msc and PhD so you can be better placed in education and research! |
Saba ya isi! |
But this is becoming embarrassing! Igbo youths should desist from drug dealing and focus on legitimate businesses for which they are known! Everywhere is not Nigeria where everything goes! |
I'm very much in support! |
If you dig deep now, this guy in question might not even be in a cult group's record as member! Just some lad who got high in whatever he smoked and started ranting dust. Or probably with some mental health issue. |
calculator123:No cultist in his right sense would go brag to the police about being cultist! In fact, many cultists pipe down at the sight of police or army! It is an orientation many cult leaders give to their members. That guy was not in his right sense at the time of that incidence! That is why the police should have used physical combat to restrain him and not shooting him outrightly and then allowing him to bleed to death! |
calculator123:Nonsense!!! I wish you experience the extra judicial killings by Nigerian police maybe then you'll understand. When it happens to another person, you won't really understand the pain! How did someone under "arrest" and supposedly handcuffed escape in the first place Why are we training our police officers on physical combat The whole men in a station couldn't restrain one "lepa" guyYou guys should stop covering up these police men when they misuse firearms and kill extra judicially. I'm sure they tagged the guy "aye cultist" just so people will not sympathize with the guy! |
They killed him and tagged him "cultist" because they know that that will make gullible Nigerians not to sympathize with the guy! |
stuffs4me:You're very stupid for trying to justify this clear case of extra judicial killing. The news claimed that the police arrested him, yet couldn't handcuff him if they had any genuine reason for the arrest. A supposedly "arrested" man still had axe on him and started breaking windscreens of cars and your ignorant self want me to believe such cocck and bull story! Just imagine the rubbish story they've come up with! Any wise person would readily understand that the police killed that guy unjustly and are now making up all the other claims to cover up. |
calculator123:The police had no right to shoot him under that circumstance! Are you trying to tell me that the whole police officers in that station couldn't overpower and restrain him Why where they trained on physical combat Shooting him was very wrong but leaving him to bleed to death was a clear case of man's inhumanity to man! Again, since when has wearing tattoos become a crime![]() |
The guy's family should sue NPF for all their worth! shooting him was unjustified! Though he made a threat against the policemen, the right thing should have been to hold him captive while making sure he's treated of any wound he sustained. When he recovers, then the police can prosecute him properly in a court of law and let the lawyers do their jobs. The guy was possibly not in his right frame of mind while making the alleged threat. |
DonroxyII:That was why I said before the drink. The milk would have helped slow the passage of the alcohol from his stomach into blood and reduce the overall effect. |
DonroxyII:If he had consumed enough quantity of milk, yoghurt or fatty meat before taking the drink, it would have reduced the effect. Talking from experience too(when I used to shayo) |
Just a bottle of yoghurt drink or a tin of peak milk before the drink would have helped him. But he no sabi |
It's even possible that the lady is already in her 40s and as such needs to hasten up with conception and things like that. And then some fools with their double standards would want her to remain in perpetual morning! At the end, the same people would turn around and mock her for not having her own issues! Op, if you are really a good friend to that lady, you have to encourage her to go ahead and get married and damn whatever fools have to say! |
That is how people will not mind their business but continue to poke nose into other people's affairs! The lady should go ahead and marry now that another man is interested in her! What's the guarantee that another man would want to marry her after 3yrs in this country ![]() |
Logobenz1:Rubbish!!!!!!!!!!!!*100 But if it's a man he can even marry in 6months and you won't complain! Double standard! Marital vow says "till death do us part!" Even civil courts affirm that marital contract ends upon death of a partner! it did not say 10yrs afterwards! @Op, please tell the lady to be strong and never give a damn about what anybody says! It's nobody's life but hers alone! She needs to move on and be happy again! Provided she has no hand in her husband's death, the husband would even be happy in the spiritual world that she has moved on I.e if he is not the selfish type! |
Anybody that survives this Buhari administration will not die young! In fact we'll throw a party the day Buhari hands over... RIP man |
Yes! I'm blessed with the best parents and siblings in this world. I would have done many bad things in this country if not for the love I have for my family. |
All these things happen because we're in a hellhole called Nigeria. That is why people who fail out of medical, dental, pharmacy schools and the rest would simply go and open "chemist" and before you know it, they are already hanging stethoscope and even operating fake hospitals and government agencies charged with the responsibility of regulating these professions would do little or nothing about them. Government should realize that Nigerians are stubbornly dishonest people who claim what they are not just to swindle people of their money not minding the negative consequences of their actions. For that reason, regulatory agencies of government should be empowered and fully reinforced to carry out their duties. It's unfortunate that most of our politicians are illiterates who don't even know that there's a high correlation between the activities of these quacks and our poor healthcare indices. |
Pascopele:Lmao ooo Guy, you funny die |
Pls let Dr Osagie Ehanire handle ministry of health. He trained abroad and I believe he'll be less of a bigot than his colleagues that trained in Nigeria. |
