Let my Igbo brothers stop that attitude of calling Lagos a no man's land! Lagos is a Yoruba land!

I also want to use this medium to advise my Igbo brothers to learn to reciprocate the goodwill they enjoy in Yorubaland.

Until that time when civilization has completely eroded indigeneship from all nooks and crannies of Nigeria, we should stop telling people that their lands are no man's lands. Why do you tell that to Yoruba people when you dare not say same to an Hausa man in Kano or even gbagi people in Abuja. That nonsense needs to stop!

Nigerian business owners need to realize that businesses survive on rules that are fair enough to both the employer and the employees, not on bigotry and outright wickedness on your employees!

Watch that company collapse in the next 5yrs except the MD changes.

What the Igbos and yorubas should be doing now is mending fences and planning how to stand together and reach out to the north in 2023. All these unnecessary fights will do them no good!

Igbos should learn to work with the Yoruba's and both sides should stop all these their rivalries.

lol...the election was obviously rigged! Besides, it seems the northerners had a last minute conspiracy against Atiku.

The analysis though was that we all expected Atiku to score higher in the north than GEJ did in 2015. My expectation was that he would score at worst twice Jonathan's score in each of the northern states and win all the PDP states in the north like sokoto, Gombe, taraba and Benue with wide margin. Such performance in the north added to southeast and south south would have ensured victory for Atiku. The original result arising from PDP's PVT showed my predictions to be almost correct, but the powers that be conspired to rig the election.

Doing a professional degree now. My former school doesn't allow a change to the course I'm studying now except via writing JAMB and starting 100level afresh if offered admission.

My greatest regret was not writing another JAMB in 200level to change course of study during my first degree. Doing that would have saved me from this second missionary journey I'm currently undergoing.

People should be mindful of how they react to posts like this. Anybody with evil intention against the Igbos can write such posts in order to instigate hatred of the Igbos by other tribes.

Sorry, it's not like I'm exonerating Christians from religious extremism, but I think they are more liberal when it comes to marriage between Christian ladies and Muslim guys than the reverse. My opinion is based on the number of Christian ladies married to Muslim men which is higher than going the other way round.

Also Christians tend to be more tolerant of atheists than Muslims, hence in a family, one member may be atheist and still live in peace with the rest who are Christians. This can't happen in Muslim homes.

From my experience Hausa and Fulani girls prefer Southern guys as they are more romantic and liberal. They are only afraid of what will happen to them if they are discovered to be dating Southern christian guys. I had a Hausa/Fulani lover that told me this. The girl wanted me to impregnate her as she was too much in love that time. She was stunningly beautiful. This still seems to be an understatement in describing her.

Muslims are not allowed to marry off their women to any other religion other than Islam.

Muslim men can also Only Marry from the people of the book i.e From the Abrahamic Religions (Jews, Christians, Muslims e.t.c), but they cannot marry a woman who is outside i.e Greek, mythology, Norse Mythology, Pagans, Atheist, because their belief is absolutely different while the Abrahamic Religions all look similar because they come from the same region.

That's too bad sha. I wish Nigerian Muslims could become more liberal like their Christian counterparts.

Women In Abrahamic Religions are considered Properties, They are one step above a slave. If A man marries a woman, he has control over everything that deals with her life. Islamically, if a Muslim Man marries a Christian woman, he owns her and she will do anything he says her children are under him they must practice Islam since the head of the house is A Muslim. But if A Muslim Woman marries a Christian Man, He owns her and her children . Its more of Like getting more members to your side than loosing members Simple. A Muslim woman can Marry a slave, but a Muslim slave she owns but Immediately she marries him, she has become his property and she Automatically answer to him and all she owned becomes his.

So what you are trying to say is that the Muslims consider it a loss to marry off their daughters to a Christian man And yet Christian fathers don't have problems giving their daughters to Muslim men?? In that case in think Christian dads should as well stop marrying off their daughters to Muslim men.

How about atheists How does Islam consider them in terms of marriage Especially if the atheist husband won't stop the woman from practising islam??

Why is this so, especially in the north
Can a Muslim northerner on this forum give a logical answer to the above question?

There have been instances where Christian guys fell in love with a Muslim ladies, but the lady's father vehemently opposed the marriage, why is it so??

A friend of mine is currently in a similar situation and I would like to get informed answers here. And again, how do Muslims see atheists?? Do they still discriminate against them in terms of marriage

PDP needs to start doing a thorough job in the north if they want to have a chance of regaining power in 2015.
They need to penetrate the north west and north east now.
If possible, let them put the result of the presidential election behind them and start image control works in the north now!
