Op is a bitter old lady in her thirties who failed to build a good relationship with a responsible guy when she was young and in school. Now that she is old and without suitors, she wants to deceive young girls to make the same mistake she made.


Girls, i am not implying that you should go ahead and start sleeping around, but try and build a relationship with a reasonable guy while in school. The guy must not be rich now! But look for a guy with potentials to succeed and build a serious relationship with him, so that you will not end up like auntie op. However, avoid premarital sex!

The only problem i see here is the lady's bad attitude. If she actually is as rude as you described then the reason for rejecting her should be on that ground.

As for her not being a graduate and all that, that shouldn't count because what matters most in marriage is the couple's peace of mind.
However, for your uncle to ignore all her rudeness to even his parents and her vehement refusal to further her education, it is crystal clear that he is infatuated with the lady's looks. This calls for concerns because if he proceeds with the marriage, sooner than later he would get tired of her body and may start asking for those qualities he ignored ab initio and problems would set in.

So op, i will suggest that you sit him down and talk to him. Let him know that if he proceeds to marry that lady just because of her looks he would one day get tired of that body and start desiring for those good qualities a lady should possess. Tell him know that he is a disappointment to learned men for allowing infatuation becloud his reasoning like a teenage boy.
Just do your best but if he insists, let him be. He would be the one to bear the consequences later.

Please guys, let's start advising the younger ones to choose courses that have well defined career paths and not those useless ones that are neither here nor there.
If you must study courses in the basic sciences, prepare your minds from onset that you would go back for post graduate studies(MSc and PhD) immediately after service, and make sure you have a flair for teaching. Don't stop at BSc level and expect to get any meaning job. It rarely works that way!

Any man who banks on a lady's physical attraction to him as a basis for a blissful marriage is on a very long thing!

Women are usually confused about what attracts them to a guy and so the attraction is usually erratic, coming on and off depending on her mood and the general perception of her friends about the guy. Therefore, a woman's attraction is not reliable in sustaining a marriage.

This is why a man should rather look out for a lady with good character and who is respectful and then learn how to work on her emotions at any point in time to get her in the mood for romance.

Typing from experience, i have had cases where an aunt of mine claimed to be madly in love with a man, rejected all counsels for her not to marry the man, went ahead to marry him, but after having her first and second issues, things took a different turn and the once lovey-dovey couple started living like cat and dog.
