Better PDP than APC! I predicted this in a post some months back that pdp was going to surprise everybody and win this election.PDP is a truly national party and will attract more development to anambra state. While APC on the other hand is a regional party and can NEVER protect the interests of anambra state in particular and ndigbo in general.

Romance › Re: Why Do Guys Run From Successful And Financially Independent Women? by Jman06(m): 8:54pm On Nov 15, 2013
One major problem career ladies have in Nigeria is that they always want to date up i.e they seek men who are higher in financial status than them, but in most cases 99.9% of such men are already taken by runs babes and younger girls who are usually ready to submit to the man.So the career lady joins in the competition for the few available rich men, unfortunately most times she loses out to younger girls during the dating game because age is always not in her favor and she is too 'wise' to submit to the man.Another factor is that Nigerian career ladies always consider the not so rich or struggling guy who is making passes at them as gold diggers who is only interested in their monies, even when the guy is genuinely in love with them.So she treats him with so much arrogance and disdain( i.e If at all she gives him a chance) that the guy would have no option than to run for dear life.Any career lady who's humble is an invaluable gift from God and any man who is lucky to find such should grab her with both hands.
Romance › Re: Why Do Guys Run From Successful And Financially Independent Women? by Jman06(m): 6:52pm On Nov 15, 2013
ogugua88: Women who are successful and financially independent intimidate some men for at least a few reasons:

1. They're confident, which can sometimes be interpreted as arrogance.
2. They have their own money and can buy their own things, support themselves, etc.
3. They can make a man feel inferior or inadequate, due to reasons given in point 2.

Men, particularly African men, are raised thinking that they are to be the provider; sole more than likely. Gender stereotyping is still rampant. A woman is to cook and clean; a man is to work. A woman who can do what a man can do renders a man useless.

A lot of men have egos, even if they won't admit it in front of women. In all honesty, however, there are some independent women out there who behave like they have both an egg and sperm. I, personally, think men should be more open to independent women as they've got a lot to offer. They're fierce, bold, and can be your rock in tough times. Meanwhile, independent women should be the go-getters that they are and still be womanly. Make a man feel like the man he is; you don't have to do all and be all because you're successful. No one likes a woman with an attitude, regardless of her wealth, fame, beauty, or whichever assets she may have.
Always on point! I love u.

BTW I thought Lagos has been governed by excellent ACN/APC administrators, Tinubu & Fashola for almost 15 years. Did I miss something huh
i'm not in lagos now. One of the students is my relative, though her injury is not so severe. The school like other government schools in lagos is begging for maintainance, due to years of neglect by successive APC government.

luvmijeje: The main motives for being a runz babe or a prostitute are money, fame and power. That's why I'm asking why would Clara want to leave her marriage and all the perks of being a first lady or have you heard any first lady quitting their marriage voluntarily?
She has her reasons for leaving that marriage and Nigerians should respect that decision instead of calling her names.
Runs babes hardly withstand adversities! They always want everything to come easily.Runs babes detest hardwork but use the pleasure from their pu.ssies for material gains.I'm sure Clara wouldn't have left the marriage if she had the opportunity of fucccking her way out of the problem that led to her exit. But since her pusssy couldn't help her,and she was not woman enough to withstand the problem, she had no option than to leave.

GEJ contesting is the only way I will take my own on pound of flesh from him for the untold hardship he has caused Nigerians through his explicit support for corruption and cluelessness as to the basic tenets of leadership. I would want nothing better than to see GEJ humiliated through vote. This will also send message to his successors in future.
Go and mark my words today, you are going to be highly disappointed and heartbroken when GEJ wins in 2015.#TeamFreshAir.

PurpleHouse: It was holiday again, and i was just 14Years old! Dad had droped us the previous day with granny for some hard knocks for being sturborn and too playful at school! It was a market day in the village! As we all know, the village has a day set aside for selling stuffs gotten from the weeks of farm labour and hard work! A day to eat well and make some money. On this day, no one is supposed to go to the river or farm, but not me, haaa, i was a bad a****s kiddo! Bad boy from town with a fancy Bike, every village girl's delight! I tool my lil bro and we headed to the river to get some urgent water as the house was virtualy empty! Granny had no knowledge. We walk and got toward the river path, no more houses around here, we were about entering the bushy path when a thought of wisdom crossed my mind! I stopped, and pulled my lil bro back, the road was still very clean, no foot steps on the ground. No drops of water or signs to show that people had passed through heading to the river! I decided to sit down there and wait for till someone came along, so we could go together! Not long after that, a young boy and girl of about my age was heading towards us and walked past us, we got up and followed them instantly! But on getting to tje river, wow, the river was as silent as a graveyard! Dry! But something was strange? There were drum beats and chantings of many things comin up from under the river! Drum beats like the ones u hear when folks are serving their gods, low tempo, but very persuasive, it makes u nod your head like u like the beats and the sound! I was scared! Very scared! Didn't know what was going on, and equally tryina figure out where the beats were coming from! It was indeed under the river! The other guys seem not too bothered, they just fetched their water, took some swimming, and was about heading home! I asked them what was happenin, but they simply replied "Have you forgotten that today is a Market day?" it was there that it downed on me that there was a general meeting going on! But why we could hear the drums and other stuffs was what surpprised me! Aren't they supposed to be spiritual beings? We grabbed our galons and head home as soon and as fast as we could! Believe me, that was the day i feared GOD!
.......................................................................
-----------------------------------------
NB: not very long after my mum's incident, the chief priest of the village cried around the village that the gods of the land are complaining that they don't enjoy their quality time, their privacy. That they are being disturbed by people coming to the river at night, when they were supposed to have their break!
Believe this or not! It's ur own palava, but it all happened live and not in Nollywood! Mum told me all she went through, but when i experienced mine, i feared God, the Sea, and All thats in it!
Op eh,regarding your own experience,i'm sure those sounds you heard were coming from sea animals such as frogs, toads, water molluscs, crabs etc, that come out to bask in water when the river is filled after a heavy rainfall,i had similar experience when i was in the village. So cast ur mind back to that incident u narrated and tell us if there was a rainfall either on that day or the night before.

HoLEEsinner: GEJ supporters are as clueless as the man himself, for his NL supporters I urge you all to think twice when you can..such post won't get him to anywhere, its time you people face the fact 'people are suffering' yet GEJ is running an expensive govt with his fellow corrupt politicians. The so called 'economy reform' isn't nothing to write home about, the rich(corrupts) are getting richer while the poor are looking unto GOD. $ is rising against naira, cost of living is expensive, unemployement is real, corruption, insecurity, no infrastructure, yet you come on here to post such rubbish. SMH.
I think you are the one who is displaying absolute cluelessness here.Or perhaps you know the truth but choose to turn blind eyes to the fact that GEJ's administration has done far better than most of his predecessors in all sectors of the economy. His achievement include; rehabilitation of most federal roads in the country, increase in power generation up to about 10,000MW including privatization of PHCN,revamping of rail transport system, health sector reforms with resultant improvement in health care delivery sytem,Nigeria is now the fastest growing economy in Africa, you talked about unemployment yet qualified people are getting employed on daily basis.GEJ presided over the 2011 national election which was adjudged by both local and foreign observers as the fairest Nigeria ever conducted in recent times.GEJ is the first president to have presented himself for a meeting with ASUU wherein an agreement was reached to provide the sum of 1.1 trillion for the purpose of revamping the nation's public universities.Agreed there are still rooms for improvement, but the truth is Jonathan has done well and i urge all Nigerians with good conscience to vote him in for a well deserved second term come 2015.#TeamFreshAir.

take dat: Employ new lecturers such as, You? A Mere certificate flasher? An inexperience medical doctor turn self-appointed government spokesperson who probably think leeches can cure headache, and chlorofoam is still used as an anasthetichuh At a time when we are experiencing huge brain drain, we should just discard the few tested hands we've got and employ untested ones? We should discard the few qualified professors that we have and employ those with masters degree or mere certificate flashers as their replacement?

Isn't Jonathan also greedy, selfish, corrupt and wicked? You think just because you are innately dishonest, every other person must always exhibit such trait? Why not wait for their final resolution before polluting everywhere with your drivel?
Though i'm not in support of sacking those striking lecturers,i want to disagree with you that M.Sc or good first degree holders are totally inexperienced like you infered.I'm very much aware that most of those 'experienced' lecturers we have today were employed as graduate assistants before they worked their ways to where they are today. It's also a known fact that most of those lucturers that seem to find some delight from going on strikes are mediocres who are only concerned about what they stand to benefit from the system. If they really have the interests of the students at heart, this is the right time to call of the strike.

frankyychiji: For starters, I am not mr but mrs. You and anybody on NL can confirm this. Wt my moniker u can chk me out tru ur search engine to see my pics n identity.

So mrs chime didn't have any monies of her own? Why is this so? She didn't have any skills. She didn't develop herself. She is an airhead who tot she wd become an empress by virtue of "madam firstlady". she has access to medical facilities (may b not her choice one). She has never been denied access to her relatives wen they came around cos d first time words got out abt her situation, she said she cannot walk away fr d marriage cos her own family swore to kill her if she ever did which means she was interacting wt dem.

Now to d issue of going abroad for medical asssitance, from d way dis woman has been alledging one tin and refuting d same, it can b deduced that chime is privy to a grand plan for her to cause a mega embarassment if she is let out just like that.

She cd even claim asylum like somebody pointed out here just to gravely embarass d governor.

Now y wd she want to embarass d gov? D motive is there. D governor was d first to gravely embarass her wen he impregnated her sister. She is on a revenge mission bt she wants to eat her cake n hv it too.

Y do I have dis feeling that she is fr a wayward family? Pls wot manner of sister sleeps wt d sister's husband, got pregnant and keeps same?

In all, I don't think mrs chime has lived a good life on her part n so d evil sister did not mind coming to take her share from d loot that belongs to nobody!

As for not being intimate wt her, that itself was enuf reason for her to hv walked out a long time ago as its obvious d man does not love any more. And dnt be telling me ibo women dnt subscribe to divorce sh*it.

But she won't walk out cos she can't fend for herself. She is solely dependant on d hand-outs dt come wt being wt chime. She has no skills. She has no savings. And her ATM is threatening to go out of service.

My lady, u are a sentimental feminist wtout ideology!!!!
God bless you dear for this post.May we never run short of your kind of women in Nigeria.Ladies this is what u get when u think that beauty is all that is required to be a woman!I'm sure if Clara was in the league of alpha females like Akunyili,Iweala,Allison Madueke,Omotola and other women of substance she wouldn't need Chime's money to go get herself treated abroad, and wont be at the governor's mercy like she is now.But what some ladies do nowadays is to go and waste resources in one glorified secondary school like Clara did in ABSU, and come out not just half baked but quarter baked(i.e if baked at all).I have one of such ladies in the office where i serve who is so lazy that she can hardly do anythn for herself, can't even operate a computer and hates being given a task to carry out,all she does is flirt around with men and wishing to marry a king.Tell me if such lady eventually marries a governor, why won't she be at the husband's mercy? This life is GIGO,what you sow is what you reap.

Amya: So the Governor is the saint in this story yeah? If you can't read between the lines, this publication is intended to mock her like some others have been doing lately. She is legally married to him. He can't in the spirit of trying to ridicule her tell her to pack out immediately. Like seriously? Did he have to say it? He could just send away her guards instead of barking such orders. If he did that and she didn't leave, then she's the fool. Really really look between the line and see what this all about. It's about power, ego and chauvinism.

She's being detained against her wish, she can't go and come in as she pleases or have people come visit her. She's lonely, she's sad, she's depressed. She loves her husband but he husband hasn't been to her bed for years. Despite the mockery she knew she might receive, despite the ridicule she knew was coming, she still stood her ground and cried out to the public. It doesn't make her greedy, it makes her brave.

My dear, money is nothing. This woman more than anyone is in a position to know this now (which is a lesson for the people who marry for money) but who says this woman married for money anyway. The man in question is sleek, handsome, charming with charisma. Good reasons for anyone to fall head over heels. He must have hidden his promiscuity from her.

Anyhoo, let's not be quick to judge this woman. She's been through enough as it is. Put yourself in her shoes and imagine what she must be going through. I wouldn't wish her condition on my enemy.
Madam your post reeks of feminism. You are seeing things only from the woman's angle.Love my foot!I'm sure there were many other handsomer guys who dated this lady but got dumped by her so she could marry Chime's money and power.Have you seen chime lately? He has grown so old and ugly due to sickness and Clara can never claim to still be in love with him.ALL CLARA WANTS IS TO HAVE ALL THE OPPORTUNITY TO FLIRT AROUND WITH SMALL BOYS WHILE STILL MARRIED TO CHIME'S WEALTH.She wants to eat her cake and still have it like other Nigerian women. But Chime being a smart guy he is has refused to be played on in that manner. If her claim of being held against her wish is true, then she should take a chance and fly out of Chime's life and stop destroying his reputations.

I think some people are trying to play smart politics with this Odua's case. The plan is to compel the president to sack Odua so as to create strife between the president and the Igbos so that the masterminds of the agenda which is no other than APC can capitalize on that to buy over the president's supporters from the southeast. How else can one explain the call by mostly APC supporters for the president to sack the minister even when the minister has not been proven guilty of any corruption?THE BULLET PROOF CARS IN QUESTION WERE NOT BOUGHT FOR THE MINISTER'S USE BUT PUNCH AND SAHARA REPORTERS GAVE THE IMPRESSION THAT THE CARS WERE BOUGHT FOR HER.APC should stop playing cheap politics using the media.Odua is not corrupt and is a performing minister.Nigerians should be smart lest they are misled by media propagandists.
