passion007: The arguments are supported by "facts" on both sides.
The US report would likely mask their vested interest, as would the Malaysia report. Both countries have a lot at stake if the world is convinced to dis/continue palm oil.

Where is the Nigerian report? Please provide a link to one.
We have food scientists, clinical dietitians, nutritionists and physicians.
Their honest take on this should be all that matters.
How can Nigerian scientists do research when they are busy looking for money and fighting for who's 'professional' and who's not.The real research scientists are the ones tagged 'non professionals' and cut out from employment while the so called 'professionals' get all the jobs and support from government, but are more concerned about their pockets and care less about research.
Politics › Re: Oshiomhole To Jonathan: Forget About National Conference by Jman06(m): 4:05pm On Oct 19, 2013
Another sweet talk to score cheap political points! How many jobs has he created in edo state? The state he governs is in shambles and he is busy opposing the president who is far better than him as a leader.I am in edo state so i know what i am talking about. What has he done to tackle the flood in benin? No good road.Nothing!Crime rate is so high in his state and he is there talking.Oshiomole is cunning and knows how to trick people with talks,he is a living example of why i don't believe in anybody that talks too much. The earlier people realize this the better.

Op stop misinforming people, moderate use of palm oil is not bad!I can prove that it's even more harmful to consume cheese, egg, milk and other dairy products than it is to consume palm oil.
Politics › Re: National Dialogue Outcome To Be Sent To National Assembly by Jman06(m): 10:15pm On Oct 16, 2013
emorse: Really? What then is the essence of the conference? So the whole nation will put heads together to chart a way forward only for it to be ratified by a bunch of selfish persons who'd waste no time in discarding whatever resolution that doesn't favour their pockets. Besides, does this mean the NASS is greater than Nigeria?
Ignorance at its peak!whatever agreements reached at the national dialogue must have a strong legislative backing in order to achieve the aim of the conference.Do u think we are still in the millitary regime when all powers rested on the commander-in-Chief?Get some education dude.
Romance › Re: Pretty Girls Don't Get Asked Out...true Or Myth by Jman06(m): 8:06pm On Oct 16, 2013
DailyNews: For example, check all the past beauty queens starting from:

Bianca Ojukwu to many others, they are all married to older rich men or dating entertainment celebrities or politicians becos by default, most very-pretty girls believe that its their birth right to date and marry only rich men whether they are happy in the relationship/marriage or not so long as the money is there.

So guys, if u want to date or marry a very-pretty lady, stop wasting your time o chasing small small girls around...and start now to work hard and pray to make it big financially else...else u will definitely end up with not-so-pretty girlsgringrin #thatsafactmanymayargue
If i work hard to make alot of money,it's not because i want to marry a 'very pretty' lady, rather it's because i want to bequeath a fortune to my children and generations unborn. What's the point killing oneself because of the so called pretty ladies when @ old age everythn about them is gone and they become less attractive.I 'll rather settle for an average looking lady that can complement me and build a home with me than work myself out Just because i want to marry an Agbani darego.
Romance › Re: Pretty Girls Don't Get Asked Out...true Or Myth by Jman06(m): 7:46pm On Oct 16, 2013
DailyNews: You made lots of sense. That's y they said: the bold and the beautiful. A man has more boldness when he is financially sufficient, and that's only when he can have the full gut to approach and woo very pretty ladies.

So u are very correct, very beautiful girls hardly get wooed or asked out by not-rich guys cos guys usually believe the very pretty girls already have a rich guy she's dating and more she's running around with even though they might be wrong, hence guys often resort to wooing and toasting average looking and not-so-good-looking girls where they believe they stand greater chance.

But then, the pretty girls don't have to cry or complain abt it cos partly they are the cause cos most of them snub average guys who don't come looking flashy or have big name/image, that's based on wot majority of guys say, and most often the very pretty girls fantasize a lot abt dating/marrying very rich men so they often sell their love instead of letting nature hook them up.

They sell it to the highest bidder, which are always very rich guys; showbiz guys, married rich men, and successful business guys. Reason many guys are bent on acquiring lots of money and fame b4 making choice of partner cos they know that without being a money bag (lolz) they may never have a chance of getting their dream girl to date or marry.

So to say, it is not so common to see a not-rich guy dating a very pretty girl in Nigerian scenario though...unless he was fortunate enough to meet one during his school period or in church through devotion.

In all, average-looking girls get more wooed than very pretty girls and very-pretty girls get more heartbroken cos they often deal with very bad and highly experienced guys who often have many ladies in their hand
Exactly! u said it all.

Sweetapple007: u really hav a shallow mind ad which work class lady whld kill a man letalone milk him dry .Am already comfortable wit a good man, accept or leave it. U re just a product of poverty tryg to leave ur fustratn on a woman ad wit bad mouth. Is is how u wil be bad mouthg ur wife wit curse.u re realy a half man, half woman shameless creature.
Judging from ur earlier post u are obviously an insatiable woman whose greed and inordinate desires would definitely send her 'husband' to his early grave. Mind u i work hard and earn my money and i am not in the list of those that wld expect their wives to win their breads(God forbid). The point i want to get into your empty skull is that a wise woman shouldn't wait for the man alone to provide for the family.Take it or leave it,i 'll hencefort not join issues with you on this thread.

Sweetapple007: God has already bless me wit a good man, just worry about urself he doen't need my assistance ad if he needs i wil gladly help because he is not a gold digger like u.
It's easier to claim that u are married, talk is cheap.Mind u am not a gold digger but a guy who works hard to earn his money.Like i said earlier i pity the unfortunate man because u 'll milk him dry and kill him before his time.

Sweetapple007: am neva lazy besides am workg in a federal institution, frm inceptn God has made man a provider ad a woman an assitance.
With this your mindset,i doubt if you would even assist the unfortunate man that 'll marry you.
Romance › Re: Men Cry Too by Jman06(m): 10:39am On Oct 16, 2013
Sweetapple007: I couldn't read all ur write ups, but before a man think of gettg married he shld be financially sound or u expect a woman to go out wit a man that hav nottg to offer ad be fustrated in marriage! So many people hav heart break been disappointed by someone they so u expect them to easily let go. Is not everybody that is emotionaly strong ad that doesn't make the person bad. Infact do u knw what women pass thru in child birth, raisg of kid ad u expect them to mary poverty. In the bible place the man responsibity in clothg shelterg ad toilg in takg care of his family while a woman responsibity in procratn ad assistg the man. U shld be a man a woman shldn't write this.
Babe,am sorry but i think u are just a LAZY BONE.U were even too lazy to read the write up and even your post reeks of laziness.Just remain there and wait for a man to come and place all the goodies on your laps. When ur mates are busy working hard and fending for themselves.I am certain some married men are there decieving you and i pray u realize the deception on time b4 u end up in ur fathers house. You talked about what women go through during childbirth as if you are the only woman that would go through that if eventually u get married.Whenever i hear ladies like you complaining about the 'joyous pains' of childbirth,it makes me shout in praises of my DEAR MUM.My mum gave birth to 11 sound kids and all of us are doing well in our various fields of endeavor, thanks to her efforts and those of my late dad.And u knw what?My mum is still in her fifthies, very strong and doing fine(this is why i am not against early marriage for girls).Don't be offended by this post but see it as a constructive criticism and erase that mentality that a man must provide everything you need.Get off ur comfort zone and work hard b4 it's too late.As for me i am highly attracted to hardworking girls and not the lazy ones no matter how beautiful they are, this because i am hardworking and a go-getter and i admire girls with same qualities.

Politics › Re: APC Has Not Zoned VP-Slot To SW by Jman06(m): 7:20am On Oct 15, 2013
The story being false or true does not matter at all.The SE wont allow themselves to be baught over by APC with a mere VP slot. This because we know that the VP is more like a spare tyre and a puppet of the president. The humiliation faced by GEJ as VP during Yaradua's era is still fresh in mind,Atiku was at loggerheads with OBJ during their tenure because he became stubborn and wanted to deviate from the status quo,and now despite all the magnanimity of GEJ,Sambo is still at his mercy. We 'll rather settle for the senate president in a GEJ administration till 2019 and seek the presidency thereafter than accept VP slot from APC.
Politics › Re: APC Zones Vice Presidency To South-West, Shops For Nominee by Jman06(m): 6:19pm On Oct 14, 2013
I have a dream that the southwest would remain irrelevant in the nation's politics till 2019 unless urgent measures are taken to gather as much supports as can guarantee GEJ's victory from that region come 2015.
you are a prime example of what is holding Nigeria back as you are just proving yourself to be an e-sycophant.
I don't make silly allegations and since you want to blindly call all of my points 'baseless', I'll try educating you:
1. this cannot be argued with and is simply unbefitting of a first-lady.
2. google it out and ye shall know the truth
3. please remind me when she or the presidency addressed this issue directly and not through testimonies.
4. amaechi (the main piece in this crisis) basicly alluded to this fact when the peace-makers came avisting.
5. she has been "quoted" saying this and is not by any means an allegation...google is your friend.
6. she is the only one out of 18 or so that is yet to resume her role as perm-sec

if you cannot come back with facts or a better reply, then don't bother replying as that would prove you are not worth my time and I will cease to address you.

By the way, to "evacuate" I admit isn't the best term to be used in that case but by no means does it equate to 'pot calling the kettle black'...I can't allow myself to be compared to that level
You have just succeeded in beating about the bush without making any tangible point.Rather you confirmed my earlier suspicion that your allegations were based on hearsays. So your only source of information was google?Yet you sounded so sure, forgeting that anybody can upload any information online wether false or true. You expect the president to waste time in debunking every malicious allegation from haters like you, right? When there are other important matters to attend to?Amaechi 'alluded' and you believed him hookline and sinker forgeting that given the circumstances of the moment,he could say anything to score cheap political points, doesn't that show how gullible you are?My friend i am not an e-sycophant but an individual who is allegic to unprovoked attacks on people.Honestly, you are a pot calling kettle black because if you could make such a blunder like you did while typing in the comfort of your room, then making a public speach would be worse off.
Now most times I try to stay clear of threads concerning PEJ but I have to say my mind here...
We have two factions here (pro and anti PEJ) and the pro seems to be saying one should have respect for her cuz she's an elder and is in a position of power....excuse my manners, but that's total BS.
Though I don't agree with abusing the first lady (in public perhaps) but the pro-PEJ are just using the same methods to pass their points across i.e insults, so its basically two sides of the same coin.
I admit I dis-like the first lady with passion and I don't care bout the opinions of her faceless supporters and here is why:
She disgraces the nation with her poorly spoken english accent and grammar.
She had a land tussle with the former first lady (and I don't support either) but just shows she's power hungry.
Went abroad for treatment and yet kept on denying it (while people accused yar-adua of doing the exact same thing)...she came back and never addressed the issue while gullible nigerians soon forgot she was away for months I think and yet no one could tell us why (she gave an indirect hint through a testimony I believe but never directly spoke to her people bout the issue)
She caused the political unrest in rivers (while people keep saying she's just a first lady and not into politics)
And with a twist to those saying she's not a political figure, why did she ask for retirement benefits for first ladies after evacuating office just like their spouses' have...(just shows her true nature doesn't it)
And the one that still hurts me till now, why is she a perm-sec when she hasn't resumed office and perhaps getting her salary...this is the height of greediness I've seen and yet people choose to throw blind-eye her way.
That's why our nation would never move forward as the leader's transgressions are always overlooked and u still have people who would fight for them...I weep for this nation.

Now I dare the pro-PEJ section to quote me and denounce all I've written, then we'll know if u are true nigerians or blind PEJ followers.
And i dare you to prove that you are sure of all the allegations you made against the first lady, and they are not based on hearsays.Lest i forget, what did you mean by ''evacuating office''?Is it another case of pot calling kettle black?
Education › Re: Patience Jonathan Honoured With Doctorate Degree In South Korea by Jman06(m): 10:54am On Oct 13, 2013
My dear, most of those criticizing GEJ and his wife are doing so out of hatred and envy and not based on any logical ground. These same people choose to turn their eyes away from the various developmental strides being recorded by the president in many sectors of the economy, but criticize every action of his.The truth remains that those critics have nothing better to offer than the president and his wife.Ofcourse they show it here on NL when they type wrong English even while criticizing PEG's use of English.I understand that criticism is an important tool to keep leaders on their toes, but let it be reasonable and constructive. To answer your question,PEG deserves the award she got but like the saying goes, a prophet is not honoured in his own town.
Tinkybabe: OK!I want to get something straight
This woman is being honoured outside her country while her country people do nothing but criticize her.

So why the discrepancy? Are we failing to see something or are those countries failing to see something or does she prefer to effect change outside the shores of her country?

Abeg help a wondering mind out cheesy

They must have worked with the species that's common in Africa i.e P. falciparum and from my knowledge, that hasn't "defied everything thrown at it"

I doff my hat for Bill and Melinda Gate foundation, for the good works they have been doing for humanity, the same people subsidize some of the antimalarial and antiretroviral drugs being used in nigeria today, among other charity works they have been doing for humanity. While the 'poor' millionaires we have in Nigeria use their own money to oppress the less privileged. This why i have always said that Nigeria cannot do without America. That's the bitter truth!
