You are obviously ignorant of the fact that even going by precedence, the supreme court while passing its verdict on the Amaechi vs Omehia case made it very clear that the mandate belonged to PDP and not for Amaechi. PDP has a very good case here. The fact that ANPP did not go to court to request it to sack those governors does not make their defection legal neither does it invalidate the constitutional provision that such governors should be sacked.

This is the right step in the right direction. The court should do the needful and sack those greedy governors.

Most news stories on this forum are not confirmed as they're gotten from news sites that we can't totally trust. Like i said, it's a forum aand people can create a thread based on their personal experience. It's now behooves on you to dispell whatever the person said and the argument can begin.

Kudos to igbo elders for their resolve to speak in one voice at the confab. I agree that the present constitution makes it practically impossible for creation of a new state in the SE since it requires the approval of other regions for a state to be created in one region. And we know that the north which has more states than the south would not be favourably diposed to creation of a new state in the SE. So, the best bet for not just the SE but other regions is to push for true federalism whereby the different regions have control over their resources while central government only oversees the regions.

This confirms my earlier suspicion that ASUU is up to something else with this strike. Why boo a priest that was only making an appeal? I'll advise wise lecturers to return to work and put these extremists to shame.
