SoNature:Exactly! |
That's religious intolerance and should be condemned by all |
They're very lovely ladies! We love them too. They should come and live in Nigeria so that we can marry them. Many Nigerian guys would prefer to marry ladies from other African countries than Nigerian ladies. |
That's the price any region would pay when they decide to glorify agberos and give them leadership positions as against the intelligentsia. Same thing obtained in the east when they decided to glorify moneybags who were in trading and frauds as against the educated ones. Thank God that Igbos have lately woken up from their slumbers! Under the above scenarios, people (especially the youths) would naturally believe that education doesn't pay! |
MomohMrMoore:Did the girls tell you they don't want the marriage The marriage would be doomed because your woke mind thinks it would? How hard is it for you people to accept that this has been the culture of northern Nigeria??! Must every region conform to your woke wannabe western lifestyles FYI, this system has helped the north in many ways! They have a more morally sound society with alot of contentment, ensuring their continued political dominance and existence. I think we should worry more about our CHAOTIC lifestyles in the south which has made many people less contented and restless about life. Moral bankruptcy has remained the order of the day in the south with more young women preferring to go into prostitution than getting married and having a more meaningful life. Young men on the other hand are into fraud and other criminal activities to amass so much money as to be considered ready for marriage. Ask yourself, the present lifestyle of most southerners, especially Igbos, is it something to be proud of? Where we glorify fraudster and have our young women prostitute around than getting married There's no pride in our way of life at all!Taking a critical look into the lives of those northerners y'all like to criticize, I'll say they're living a more decent and contented lives than our chaotic and directionless south! |
Governor Mbah should learn to focus on a project and complete it before starting another. This his style of starting too many projects at once without finishing any doesn't make sense, rather he may end up having many abandoned projects in the state which would not speak good of him. |
This is the result of Nigerians raising women with the wrong mindset that it is a taboo for women to shoulder financial responsibilities for a while. That is why they readily develop resentment towards their husbands when he is financially down and financial responsibilities fall on them. From the article, the lady was working as a care worker and clearly earning more than her husband who is just a supermarket attendant. In that scenario the lady started resenting and disrespecting the man to the point of even cheating on him. |
NaijirianKing:Don't mind her! Most women who are unmarried or divorced would always do everything to ensure that other women experience similar fates as them. I don't think that woman is happily married! |
What I don't get is that after all the girl-child education and empowerment, these same girls would still depend on men for urgent 2k and all that, making me wonder the need for all the girl-child empowerment |
freedomchild:That would be in the best interest of Nigeria's healthcare system and healthcare-seeking Nigerians because NMA has over the years constituted clog in wheels of progress of our healthcare system by unreasonably stunting the growth of other health professionals and depriving Nigerians of the benefits of such growth. Their fights against other health professionals are usually very unreasonably petty. Such fights usually portray them like the proverbial hunter that was busy struggling to over an ant whilst carrying the carcass of an elephant on his head. Very annoying people dragging the noble profession of medicine to the mud! |
jahsharon:Honestly! MDCN ideally should be completely independent of NMA in order to avoid conflict of interests in the regulatory roles of MDCN but the corrupt system has made it such that NMA meddles so much into the affairs of MDCN |
Racoon:NMA is not a legally reçognized regulatory body. MDCN is the government-aproved regulatory body for medical and dental doctors in Nigeria. NMA is just a pressure group and some people are using it to milk others dry. |
ProudNigerian01:It'll only be miraculous if people passed through prayers and fasting alone! Once hardwork comes in, it is no longer a miracle but the result of hardwork. Many people have excelled in such exams without uttering even a word of prayers. |
In a country where evil thrives, what else do you expect? The truth is that the devil is in full control of the nation called Nigeria and that is why evil reigns in every sector. If we want to change the status quo in this country, then we must begin to create the consciousness of selflessness. Evil thrives in Nigeria because of the excessive selfishness of the people. We must eschew selfish thoughts and think about the common good. Nigerians need to realize creating a decent society for all and sundry is far far better than attaining individual selfish wealth. If we think about posterity and how to create a better society for our unborn and younger generations, it will help to minimize or eradicate evil tendencies in our society. Think about birthing your beloved children in an evil society like Nigeria! No matter the amount of money you amass for your unborn children, if we don't intentionally strive to build a better society, forget it, your unborn children would forever curse you for birthing them in an evil society like Nigeria.. All the ills of the Nigerian society are the direct results of selfish ( evil) thought patterns of the Nigerian people! |
kingsways:Nonsense! I'll rather give my first fruit to my parents (mum or dad) or my elder sister (who sacrificed alot for me to go to school) than giving it to some scammers called pastors. |
muyico:Yet women get all the jobs nowadays! This is one reason why we have many unmarried working class ladies especially in Igboland. They get empowered with jobs while many men are left jobless! Because of mindset like yours above, most of these working class ladies find it difficult to get married because they can't stoop to marry guys they're financially better than. So, y'all should continue in your unreasonable views. Eventually, our society will become littered with many unmarried and bitter women! Maybe then y'all would realize that it was never in the society's interests to financially empower the female gender while leaving the males jobless |
Op, always remember that HIV is real and people are really suffering from the effect of that virus! Before now, I used to think that the HIV is a child's play. But recently I started working in ART unit of the hospital where I currently work, mehn! I discovered how serious the HIV virus is. Since then I advised myself on the need to stay away from premarital sex. People are depending on antiretroviral drugs to live! It's not funny at all. So op, always remember HIV and its devastating effects when the thought of premarital sex crosses your mind. |
SeeWahala:That must be a sarcasm |
Honorable minister, the president recently allegedly approved the appointments of healthcare professionals as FELLOWS to work at primary healthcare levels to drive and monitor federal government's interventions towards building a robust primary healthcare, but up till this moment, we haven't heard any other thing from government pertaining to that wonderful initiative. What is really happening That noble idea must not be swept under the carpet. We all know the roles of primary healthcare in attaining universal health coverage (UHC) as it helps to provide quality healthcare to the greater majority of Nigerians who dwell in rural areas. The Tinubu administration should ensure to follow up with that idea and other great ideas that have been proposed to put the Nigerian healthcare system on the right track for the benefit of Nigerians!Kudos to Tinubu's administration as it appears determined to revamp the nation's health sector! We're keenly watching! |
Op, if doing what you did made you happy, then good for you! Don't mind all those "matured oldies" up there trying to make you feel bad about your action. Relationship with a typical Nigerian lady is best done on an eye-for-an eye basis. If ladies can have the heart to shatter a loving guy's heart on flimsy reasons then guys should also not hesitate to pay them back in their own coins! An eye for an eye makes everyone respect themselves! |
Obasanjo is one leader that does not pay lip service to the quest for a united Nigeria. His sincerity to the Nigerian course is so glaring for all to see, unlike some tribal bigots that would call for patriotism in public but would be living and breathing tribalism wherever they are. Kudos to you baba. May God continue to preserve you, sir! |
Any girl from 16yo and above is no longer a child. People should learn to face reality and stop trying to appear woke! Not every girl has the funds to go to the university, hence if a capable man comes for her, it is better for her to get married and be taken care of than constituting nuisance in the society by going into prostitution and wasting her life away on social media. Young girls, get married on time to a responsible and capable man when you are still young and desirable! Don't listen to people like op who are only hypocritically trying hard to be seen as being woke! They'll only end up deceiving you! |
It is only those who haven't eaten better okpa that would compare it to moi moi. That sh1t is far more nutritious and delicious compared to moi moi! It also doesn't cause stomach discomfort like moi moi. Great meal! |
dominique:Easier said than done! The truth is that no wise lady should get married into a Nigerian family without the family's consent. This is Nigeria not yankie |
9japride:Not all women are beautiful pls |
Government has to increase retirement age to 65years across board if this idea of increasing university entry age is to hold. |
Enjoy life as much as you can. Try to avoid excessive competition and just enjoy this life as it comes. The earth was created for our enjoyment but we humans made it a place of suffering because of our greed to attain some artificially created heights. Those who live their lives naturally without trying to be anyone else enjoy life better regardless where they live. Some people in the village, for instance, might be seen as misfits by some in the cities because they may not be so much into the hustles and bustles of civilization. But in reality, those guys in the village maybe enjoying life more compared to their city counterparts. I know that I do enjoy myself whenever I am in my village eating bush meat, drinking my correct palmwine and enjoying other 'local' stuff. Therefore, I think that you, Onila, should try to breakaway from trying to meet your parents', siblings and friends expectations and live life on your own terms and pace if you want to start enjoying life. Not saying you should be laid back but try to go at your own pace. If the source of your depression is poor academic performance and you know you can't cope, quit and find a vocation that you can do well in while having fun at it. ENJOY LIFE |
The hatred for policemen in this country is too much! The devil really has this country in his palm |
I can only be interested when it returns to at least #400 per dollar |
It is very very important that students are allowed to write their exams by themselves from the lowest levels of education, especially secondary schools. It boosts their confidence to face exams by themselves in the university and beyond. Some of us who attended "Community secondary Schools" where we managed to pass WAEC through personal efforts are more confident in writing any exams today at whatever levels. |
Domaining101:It is actually easier to make first class in Engineering and Mathematics because the course volumes are usually small so it's easy to predict where lecturers set questions from. All one need is solve past questions. But medical courses ain't like above because diseases and their treatments are vast, so lecturers have a lot of questions to ask unless they want to make their exams easier, which is hardly the case in Pharmacy and healthcare courses generally. |
Skiborobo:@Happytravels Do not listen to this advice in quote. The poster is one of the brainless Nigerian females who get jealous of interracial marriages of Nigerian men and Caucasian women. They always wish such interracial marriages never succeed! |

The marriage would be doomed because your woke mind thinks it would?
Nigerians are settled

, nonsense. Me I don't rate all these high CGPA from all these cram and pass courses, nothing difficult there at all. People wey me i dey respect na those guys wey dey graduate with first class from Mathematics, Computer Science, or Engineering
