They called in the service department to check it out and they said "what's wrong?" Well they found there is a day missing in space, in elapsed time. They scratched their heads and tore their hair. There was no answer. Finally, a Christian man on the team said, "You know, one time I was in Sunday school and they talked about the sun standing still." While they didn't believe him, they didn't have an answer either, so they said "Show us." He got a Bible and went back to the book of Joshua where they found a pretty ridiculous statement for any one with "common sense." There they found the Lord saying to Joshua, "Fear them not, I have delivered them into thy hand; there shall not a man of themstand before thee." Joshua was concerned because he was surrounded by the enemy and if darkness fell they would overpower them.(check references below.) So Joshua asked the Lord to make the sun stand still! That's right-"The sun stood still and the moon stayed-and hasted not to go down about a whole day!"

They checked the computers going back into the time it was written and found it was close but not close enough. The elapsed time that was missing back in Joshua's day was 23 hours and 20 minutes-not a whole day. They read the Bible and there it was "about (approximately) a day." These little words in the Bible are important, but they were still in trouble, because if you cannot account for 40 minutes you'll still be in trouble, 1,000 years from now. Forty minutes had to be found because it can be multiplied many times over in orbits.

As the Christian employee thought about it, he remembered somewhere in the Bible where it said the sun went BACKWARDS. The scientists told him he was out of his mind, but they got out the Book and read these words in 2 Kings: Hezekiah, on his death-bed, was visited by the prophet Isaiah who told him that he was not going to die. Hezekiah asked for a sign as proof. Isaiah said, "Do you want the sun to go ahead 10 degrees?" Hezekiah said "It is nothing for the sun to go ahead 10 degrees, but let the shadow return backward 10 degrees." Isaiah spoke to the Lord and the Lord brought the shadow ten degrees BACKWARD! Ten degrees is exactly 40 minutes! Twenty-three hours and 20 minutes in Joshua, plus 40 minutes in Second Kings make the missing day in the universe! Isn't it amazing?! When israel was declared a nation in 1948. It took the world by surprise . Because the name of Israel had been wiped off the map of the world according to prophecy of the bible.They had changed the name of the land to Palestine .for about 2000 years,Israel had ceased to be a nation

Even theologians had given up on israel , but when it happened ,historians couldnt believe their ears. Israel had been scattered all over the earth. Not only that, they were been slaughtered in many nation. Hitler killed millions of them .The name of their land had been changed to Palestine by the ottoman empire,and they brought Arabs to occupy that land. They had no more homeland .there was no way Israel could exist again. But in 1948 , the prophecy came to pass. It was never done in history that a nation who's name had been wiped off resurrects again.

The bible had predicted that God would scatter them if they remain stubborn . They did and he did. By AD 70 . The Romans invaded and destroyed Israel. After that several nations came and did their own destruction. Until the name was removed from world map. After much suffering by many of them in several nations even though some prospered earlier. They began to return to their homeland who's name had been changed to Palestine land .

How did this happen
After the defeat of Hitler's Third Reich the United Nations in November 1947 passed the "Resolution For the Partition of Palestine," granting a portion to the Jews, a portion to the Arabs, and internationalizing Jerusalem. The Arabs rejected the plan. The Jews did not like the plan but accepted it, believing 'half a loaf to be better than none.

Although they may not know it, the nations jointly, by doing so, have set themselves on a collision course with  the prophecy of the bible in Joel

For, behold, in those days, and in that time, when I shall bring again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem, 2 I will also gather all nations. . . and will plead with them there for my people and [for] my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land.

Some of these parted land  were miraculously recovered from  Egypt Jordan Judea and Samaria as well as east Jerusalem containing the Temple Mount.  When the arab gathered to fight the small returnees of Israel so that they could finally eliminate them ,The world was watching but couldnt do anything to save israel. Israel only fought to defend themselves and miraculously they did without help. Not only did they survive, miraculously also they recovered some of the parted land from the Arabs . It was then the world moved in for peace and demanded that israel should returned some of the land conquered . But they are yet to have full claim of Jerusalem now. That is the present conflict they face now.

Isaiah 66:8
8 Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? [or] shall a nation be born [/b]at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.

Who says the bible is not inspired of God?

So many attacks have been unleashed on the bible. The bible may have few mistakes due to hand by hand copying but it does not take away the message nor the inspiration of the bible.

Above all things, one major thing that differentiate the bible from any book is the powerful prophecies and predictions which have come to pass, still coming to pass and shall still come to pass. That's one way we can prove to the cynical  world about the power of this book.

I will like us to discuss prophecies of the bible of the past which had been fulfilled and the future fulfilment .

Satan fall was not recorded in genesis. But you will find it in other books such as Isaiah 14:14-18, Ezekiel and jeremiah

There may be typographical errors in the bible but it doesn't take away the divine inspiration behind it. The bible is more current than tomorrows newspaper. One indisputable thing about the power of the inspiration of the bible is the prophecies it contains. Many prophecies given thousands of years ago were fulfilled. That certainly is not the idea of a man.

The bible foretold the sojourn of isreal in Egypt 400 years. It foretold exodus from Egypt. It foretold the nations that would be world powers , it foretold the coming of christ. It gave the exact date Jesus would be born, it gave the exact date he would die. It predicted the destruction of Jerusalem and the captivity to Babylon . It gave the exact number of years the captivity in babylon 70 years. It predicted isreal will scatter and will not be a nation. It predicted when they will come back to be a nation again in one day. We all witness how isreal became a nation again in one day. Sooo many things in the bible . Our time is revealed in the bible . It document the event of the future.

Spend more time on your bible dude , it will save you some of your biblical goofing. The Christians are not in competition with the world in wealth acquisition.they have an end. We are in the era that is called "the times of the Gentiles" biblically. A short time open for Gentiles to come into Gods kingdom. We Christians put our resources together to reach the world for Jesus in tens thousands and millions. Christian wealth is not for chop chop. We touch lives . So we are not competing with bill gate. Where is Micheal Jackson money today? If you know your bible you should be more concerned about bill gate getting born again than making a hero out of him.

That's with regards to the Jews . He came to fulfil the kingdom in them and through them but they rejected him. So he turned to us Gentiles . But after the time of the Gentiles is over ,God will continue his calendar with Israel but it will be with pain for them this time.

My point is, there is a bible standard to dictect false spirit.demons cannot call Jesus their lord. Let me tell you this , even people that are demon possessed sometimes can't call Jesus lord. In my encounter with demonic cases. One if the fastest way to cast a demon out is to make the victim confess Jesus as lord. For some cases , when you tell the person to call jesus ,the person finds it hard to say it . Even though he wants to say it. He will say je-je-jee, Then say "they will not allow me to say it". Especially people who have been involved with occult of witches.

So it takes the holy spirit for a man to confess the lordship of christ over his life.

When jesus was born , the jews had about 40 and half years remaining in their countdown. Jesus recievd the holyghost at age 30. They had about 10and half year remaining. Jesus ministered for 3and half years and was killed. They have only 7 years remainig. God had to put a stop to the countdown. The 7years is still on hold now. God now shifted his attention from isreal and opened the door of salvation to we the Gentiles. After our rapture to heaven , God will resume the count down of the remaining seven years for them,but this time it will 7 year of tribulation. The Antichrist will make treaty between Jews and Arab for the 7years and finally break it. The great tribulation will be on

You know I said according to the bible , a man can only confess Jesus as lord by the spirit. So if a man claim the lordship of Jesus over his life according to scriptures, it is wrong to say the man is not of God.

The bible is clear on how to detect false christians and ministers , their profession of Jesus. If a man confess Jesus he is accepted of him. I believe that we can criticise pastors (How else will they see their mistakes?) .without condemning them. What qualifies as condemnation? I think the highest form of condemnation is to say that a person is of the devil or that they are going to hell. I will not say that about any minister but where their doctrine is off, I will say it. I have personally learned a lot from criticism directed at pastors and I have ideas what and what not to do if I became one, current pastors could also learn if it wasn't for their pride.

I agree pastors are not infallible . But criticising a member of the body of christ in an open forum is a sin to christ and his body. We can't wash our dirty linens openly in the face of unbelievers. Some of them even come to mock us saying "see Christians o" " they call themselves children of God" God hates that .

This shows how God see such thing. There are biblical ways to correct thing. Jesus was clear. "He said if a brother offends. . . go to him alone" and the bible says we should correct in love. Paul corrected Peter face to face. He didn't have to label him a false minister at The Hill of Mars.

A real minister is more concerned about touching the world for christ than busy himself with what another man is doing .

You may say somebody is not a minister , but supposing you are wrong. Even if you say Lord I'm sorry later , what about some people you might have polluted un intentionally what damage to their soul. That is why everyone should focus on his work in God. I would rather send letter or mail or through UPS about my concern to a church or pastor whom I perceive to be in error than to mount public forum and pointing fingers at ministers. If they read my letter and respond fine. If they reason with my concerns fine. but if they read it and throw it to dustbin. The letter will be a witness against them on judgement day.

Abi is it possible you extracted it from the quaran otherwise am tempted to call a liar. All l need is the scripture that suggest that demons have the capacity to confess Jesus Lord and tremble.

If he is in error , my part is to seek Gods face for him to come out of it. We ought to be praying for ministers and not condemning them. Some others use anointing oil ,handkerchief and other things. The book of James introduced Jewish oil into the church. We can't blame them . They saw it in the bible. That means you don't believe in the bible . You trust human theories more. Thesame book of Daniel predicted the exact year Jesus would be born and the exact year he would be killed. And it came to pass exactly. Is that a fable tale also.

Your statement is not scriptural. We are not told to judge any person because you see outside, its only God that sees the heart. So leave judgement for him.But we can judge between 2 Christians to settle dispute.

Where is it stated? Demons can not call Jesus their lord.

You are confessing and living a dirty life. They "know" (that is greater than "talk" which you may not mean) and they also live the same life. Your fruit and theirs is cheating, lying, defrauding etc. The Devil is here to steal, kill and destroy. That describes both you and demons perfectly. So what is the difference?

You "judge" your pastor chris by appearance because he says the right things and behaves the right ways in front of the world yet the truth is that it is his fruit that God and indeed, serious Christians look at and mehn, his fruit wowo pass terrible - even demons are more manageable. You're wrong I jugde a man of God  by his doctrine. That's bible standard. If a man does something else behind , it's not anybodys business but between him and his master. That's your opinion. I talked with Fyne guy , his side was different. Even if there is element of truth, do you judge a church by what someone did there? Give us the name of a perfect church . You mentioned deeper life one time. Which shows you don't even have a church to mention but that's not my problem. Did you read the news about a deeper life pastor despoiling a child recently?  Jesus himself didn't have a 100% perfect congregation. Neither paul who had all sorts in his churches.

Is it the "gister" with boasts and a lying tongue who believes signs are all that matters? The problem is that they work iniquity. So those who work iniquity, Jesus will handle . Not Wetu nor nuclear boy. The energy used to attack men of God would have been more productive for you if used to preach the gospel.

We  work out our salvation. A man can lose his salvation. But it's not anybody cup of tea. It's between him and his master.
