Let me take you down memory lane, there was a prophet here on nairaland some Years back, dear Lord, I can't remember his name, but Goshen360 did a risky venture saying he's testing him, after he lied about his personality, all in a bid to discredit him.

Joagbaje was on the forefront teaching about prophecy and all, will you say he was prejudiced because the said prophet is a nairalander or is he also a friend of pastor Chris?

Pastor Anita never accused him of adultery

Pastor Chris didn't divorce his wife

And pastor Chris didn't have any property in his name. (that's some humility). Though someone on here asked how come Anita didn't know this, I think she didn't know these because it wasn't material at the time she was with him, and if he did have, a law firm like her lawyers would have dug it all out.

So, two things.. He'd have lied if he said he didn't have any property to his name, if he actually did, and since the lawyers couldn't find any, I believe the OP.

Also, since she didn't accuse him of adultery, that clears me even further. She left him, he didn't push for a divorce, so in other words, he is not to be blamed.

Was she abused? Well, depending on the context.... it may never be physical abuse, nor even emotional, and even of it's emotional, it could be simply that Pastor Chris ignored her demands and she was pained by it for so long a period up until now. Let's not assume he abused her just because she said so, like gombs said... He's told the whole world he didn't do it, she said she was abused... let God be the judge. Me thinks we should leave this matter be, they've separated already. Life and ministry goes on.

"A Word from God is meant to glorify God, edify the church and bring succour, and bring sinners to salvation and repentance." i referenced at least four things that a Word from God does. A Word or prophecy from God will either glorify God, or edify the listeners/church, or bring succour, or lead to repentance of sinners.
When Agabus prophesied about the famine, it brought succour to the people of God.
Act 11:28 And there stood up one of them named Agabus, and signified by the spirit that there should be great dearth throughout all the world: which came to pass in the days of Claudius Caesar.
Act 11:29 Then the disciples, every man according to his ability, determined to send relief unto the brethren which dwelt in Judea:
Act 11:30 Which also they did, and sent it to the elders by the hands of Barnabas and Saul.

It helped the people, it evidently and practically lessened the effect of the famine on the people.

For some reason, these pastors only heal people who come to their church. There are orphanages and schools for the deaf. If they can heal those who come to their churches, then surely either them or their Gods should be able to heal all the students in the schools for the deaf. Why don't they go and heal those in the schools? Are they afraid? Or is God afraid?

My point; that the book of Amos said what you quoted doesn't make it real. God doesn't speak with anyone on anything.

If you wish I'll use the technology of electromagnetism to explain dreams and visions for you. Have you ever wondered how cameras and radios work? What is that image on a paper when you snap a picture? What are those images you watch on tv? How did the voice from a radio station get to your transistor? What connects mobile phones?

God doesn't single out anyone to have a chat with. We erroneously think God intervenes in the affairs of men but he doesn't.

My point is, God does not speak to anyone purporting to be a prophet.

People who are seeing some fundamental wrongs around the ministry and have avenues like this should speak up and help the ministry.
The issue of indecent dress needs to be addressed in the church. This makes the church to be at the forefront of attacks. Imaging entering a church and the usher bending down to pick a pen breast dropping and pants showing.

I know a member of a church that will not mention any other thing about CEC but a CEC pastor whose hubby is to sleep with, not even members of the church, bit confirmed prostitutes.

Its unfortunate that you guys know all these but wont talk because you are also benefitting from the illegal free sex

We need to speak up on these because it is becoming a shame to the body of Christ
