There are several churches that I dont agree with their doctrines. but I wont come to the public and condemn their convictions , I only pray for understanding for them as i pray for your group of mockers and jesters. Enigma:Kenyon was in school where some people there believe in metaphysics and some funny dotrines in his days but that didnt make him one of them. I will recomend you to read any of Kenyon's book Your life will turn arround. Let me share a testimony with you if you care; I used to be sick of malaria almost every week , from childhood, People told me i would grow tall , that that is why i fall sick often, I consoled myself that I will be able to play basket ball in future as a tall man. But at the age of 21,I had a miracle drug called sunday sunday medicine , Every week i just take it, i lived on that drug to prevent malaria. I came in contact with a small book by E.W.Kenyon titled "Jesus The Healer" I read and read, i realised that Jesus has borne away not just my sin but all my sickness as well. I followed the instructions in the book , i stopped my drugs, Malaria soon hit me ;vomitting,pains, cold ,heat,weakness. Then i remember what Kenyon taught , then I began to confess "by his stripes I was healed" "by his stripes, " etc. 30 mins after every symtoms disappeared .I had 2 more attacks later that year and no more drugs despite the mosquitoes then.ever since that time no more malaria. Now 20 years after, No more malaria. Just a small book. I had to go and pack all kenyons books in print for my library. Dont give the devil chance in your life, belive in Gods word. Why will I deny the things that has worked for me and is working for me and for hundreds of millions of people. Edakun jare .The word works! |

Electric tasers are for security use . Did they say he used it on people in church? can you paste the link?. How would someone carry a gun looking device at the altar. Ha! alhaji !!! What about the people far away that were not touched and still fell, I have experienced it, even though I was once critical of it in ignorance like you. Have you watched emmanual tv and see some spiritual punches? 30 meters away?.Why dont you search things out yourself, Ignorance is not lack of knowledge but ignoring knowledge, and that is foolishness. A wise man search out and not argue blindly. Trials are not sickness and decease. They are challenges of life. Even if it is sickness a christian should recognise his authority over the works of satan. Luke 10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. If a christian falls sick, he is responsible for allowing it, and he is also responsible for coming out of it. James 5:14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. So you can see that sickness can come through sin, and God is not responsible, God only teach you how to get rid of it. But there is a higher life where you dont fall sick again. Romans 8:11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. |

We have doctors that have qrongly prescribbed drug, wrongly diagnosed and killed patients, trough guess work, Operations have gone wrong yet no one sees that. |

When a man is under the influence of God's spirit ,natural laws are suspended, That is why Elijah , moses, Jesus could go 40 days without food and probably water.So they cant be wounded except someone get distracted. There is no drama required. afterall ,not everybody falls, it depends on the extent of the power being dicharged some were not touched but fell by the power also. John 18:4-6 Jesus therefore, knowing all things that should come upon him, went forth, and said unto them, Whom seek ye? [5] They answered him, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus saith unto them, I am he. And Judas also, which betrayed him, stood with them. [6] As soon then as he had said unto them, I am he, they went backward, and fell to the ground. No record of anybody wounded here , and im not aware Jesus had a dress rehearsal for this.Several places in the bible , people have fallen down by Gods power or became so overwhelmed that they cant stand the pressence of his glory, 1 Kings 8:11 So that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of the Lord. The message from the pit of hell is any message that will put people of God in the bondage of what Christ has saved them from. A christian is superior to satan, he should not be under the opression of poverty ,sickness, sin and death.If up till this time some cant understant the simplicity of the gospel, there is not much to say again. 1 Cor. 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. Prosperity is not telling people to go after things of life but simply accept what God has given them. That is why you guys need to recieve the holyspirit after being born again. You dont have to labour to have, you just take what God has given you. 1 Cor. 2:12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. But if a man is not yet saved, there is nothing we can do but to pray for eyes of understanding to be opened. 2 Cor. 4:3-4 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: [4] In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. |

@ KunleOshob KunleOshob:You Must understand the difference between obsolete law and the will and nature of God which does not change. Firstly Christ was the fulfilment of Abrahamic covenant. He came and suffered to make it possible for us to recieve the blessing of Abraham . It is God's will for us to subdue and reign over everything. we are next to God. Adam lost his dominion. The plan for redemption started through Abrahamic covenant.What is the blessing of Abraham ,if I may ask you? Poverty? absolutely NO. Genesis 12:2 , and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: , This blessing is passed to every custodian of Abrahamic covenant. That was why Isaac must prosper. Genesis 26:13-14 And the man waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great: [14] For he had possession of flocks, and possession of herds, and great store of servants: and the Philistines envied him. Genesis 30:27 And Laban said unto him, I pray thee, if I have found favour in thine eyes, tarry: for I have learned by experience that the Lord hath blessed me for thy sake. All of them that had the birthright of the covenant down to Joseph must prosper. That is why God has to remind Israel again about the covenant in what you errornously called obsolete law. Deut. 8:18 But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day. So you can see where you are wrong here.Abrahamic covenant is dminion over sickness poverty etc .israel did not enjoy full benefit of this because of sin.Do you know that Jesus operated Abrahamic covenant in his ministry? Luke 13:16 And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day? He only invoke the blessing of the covenat and not the power of the new creation. We have been set free from satanic opression sir. sickness , death ,poverty failure, bondage. Galatians 3:29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise. Col. 1:13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: 2 Cor. 8:9 For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich. Galatians 3:29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise. Also show us clear cut teachings by the apostles that believers would be rich. That aside if this were to be true how come there is no significant difference in the wealth of non believers than believers? Infact i would wagger that non believers are far wealthier than believers in this country and even so called pastors who claim to be rich and preach this false gospel derive their wealth from fleecing the flock whichis obvious and not any divine blessings as they would like us to believeYou can see why i will attack fiercely, any doctrine that will lead people into bondage of sickness,poverty and death. 2 Cor. 8:9 For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich. |

Money is only a part , Jesus died to make us allround success. You are the one that make it sound as though it's all about money. He died for us to be in health , to reign over sin , over devils, over poverty, failiure etc . Why do you want to take wealth out of it? DEUT 8:18 But remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your forefathers, as it is today. |

You can have hold and control on life . Instead of waiting for what tomorow brings , you can determin what tommorow should bring. |

You are right, religion is man made in his search for a god. There is no salvation in religion. But God is not man made. God made man and you know it even if you openly deny it, there is a part of God in you crying to be filled with the love of God. God is not a terror. We are not afraid of God . God is love, he is the answer to the emptiness you have on the inside. You may deny God's existence but You know there is God.Deep inside you know. Romans 1:20-21 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: [21] Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Jesus didnt bring religion, he brought life. In my own opinion, as much as I Know that God has no problem with women wearing trousers, If your church has a doctrine against wearing of trouser, you should not wear it , because it will be a form of rebellion . It is better to move to a church that agrees with your convictions . |

Ndipe:I believe this is another issue entirely and has no relevance to your claim that Elijah died. It is easier to believe a letter came from a man that is alive in heaven than letter from a dead man if he had died .But definately there must have been a mistake somewhere. Ive not studied it in details but I know there had been a challenge of chronology in some bible stories like the story of david still beeing in the father's house or being under saul when he was anointed. Some stories had such challenges. I will do a study on it. thanks |
