I am just looking forward to Canada,USA,Mexico 2026. I think our side will be very formidable by then. We just need our boys to make it to this world cup at least to get some experience. And after Qatar I hope NFF does the right thing. Well let's qualify for Qatar first. |

South Africa got everything right except real talents. JohnBullMySon: All this poor calls will just add to people's heartbreak.
Honestly I somehow wish South Africa could qualify. They really have been dedicated to their football development and keep losing out, first AFCON and then WC. Also they have been getting a lot of negativity online. I've not seen anyone outside SA support them. The whole Africa seems to prefer Ghana. |

EVen this Musa Muhammed is better than Shehu. I remember when he had his SE debut, he didn't put any foot wrong.. He played like a regualr SE player..Rohr say make Musa Muhammed go find better club before he go recall am. Fast-forward, today, Shehu still dey get call up. Surebaba01: Akpoguma |

The point is the guy has not been outstanding in SE and he can definitely be in future considering his age. Whether he sign for EPL club or not the earlier point still stands. charlesemeka85: okoye the first 9ja keeper to play in the epl and 9ja’s first choice

Prior to this season he has also played a considerable percentage of games as an RB. andrewbaba44: Akpoguma is a cb normally nah ,because say he Dey play RB this days no mean say e no be CB |

your argument always dey get as e be. soon you will start to argue which league is better. Modifed I was very clear initially when I implied my comparison is based on what they have done in the national team. forgiveness: Can you play in Seria A or EPL without defensive attribute? |
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 8:26pm On Nov 13, 2021 |
Sir, it is true he played a lot as an RB when he was a German junior international. As a matter of fact he played both positions enough throughout his career for us to term him versatile. Kog45: Charles he started as RB and I remember vividly during U20 WC he was deployed as RB.
Balogun and Ekong partnership cannot be distorted like that,is either Balogun stay and Awaziem or Akpogunma pairing him.
Awaziem as a CB for eagles was not that impressived but the new Awaziem am seeing now should pair Balogun and let see what he can do....As I always saying Ekong can never make my team. |
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 8:18pm On Nov 13, 2021 |
who is debating that? I believe he was quoted as saying the same thing. But he has played RB/RWB enough for Rohr to try him there. charlesemeka85: him playing there because of injuries at hoffenheim doesn’t mk him a wing back or rb
Kevin is a cb, a position he has played right from karlsruhe youth team and German u20 to 21 teams |
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 8:16pm On Nov 13, 2021 |
He showed his strengths more in attacking forays. We are saying the same thing. In a 3-5-2 set up he is my first choice. In a defensive set up, he is not clearly better than the others. forgiveness: He is better than Awaziem in green white green. His record at the last AFCON is there for all to see. |

Agboguma is essentially a CB. But na RB/RWB he dey play pass for club these days. Let's wait till he plays CB for us and does a great job before we start to dey add am for our line up. charlesemeka85: who told u Kevin is no cb? Una Dey watch ball at all abi because rohr once played him as a rb? Mk una no Dey talk nonsense here |

arguably our best wing back. isan: As a RWB or LWB aina could not have been worse than collins or Simon and Rorh bench him for 90 minutes |
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 7:48pm On Nov 13, 2021 |
Aina is probably our best Wing Back. As a full back, he's not better than Awaziem on the right or Zaidu/Collins on the left. He could rub shoulders with them but not clearly better. Let's leave club football and talk Green White Green. forgiveness: Hmmm! You don’t even know Awaziem more than me.
I was the one that first clamored for his invitation here when he broke into Porto’s first team.
Then, he played as a DMF before he was moved to defence.
Aina is a better RB or LB than him. That’s a fact. |
