I want to leave Lagos in the new year. I'm tired of the stress, high cost of everything and chaos.
The problem is I can't really make up my mind on where to go, what city is best for me and my business, my life and needs, therefore i opened this thread to seek advice from people who live or have been to these areas i have in mind to relocate to.


My opinions are...

1. Enugu
2. Uyo *(Akwa Ibom)
3. Calabar (Cross Rivers)
4. Port Harcourt

I'm an Igbo guy from Imo state. I work online so can move anywhere as long as i see good light and fast internet.
And something else... I'm kind of a late bloomer in life. Things no enter for me early so I'm still single at 40. But I earn well now, thanks to God, and so I'm seriously searching for a nice lady to settle down with. A city with lots of marriageable single girls around (even semi-educated one who are generally more humble) is high on my priority list.

The city I have in mind as the best fit is Enugu but due to insecurity in the SE I'm open to other opinions.

Please advice me based on your experence.

Go to Uyo or even Eket. I just left Eket, and there are lots of girls, good internet and the cost of living is also low.

I've travelled 5 states over the last few days, and one thing I can say is that Tinubu is popular. But for the wrong reasons.
Whenever his name is mentioned, people start laughing.
I asked this guy who he was voting, he was hesitant, so I said "Tinubu?"

The ZLP has wished him well, and said they don't intend to substitute him. Why are you still crying?

Whenever you see any weird named group supporting APC, just disregard it.

Now let's analyse this.

Apart from Wike, either each of the remaining g5 member has endorsed his candidate or we already knew where the votes from the state are going.

Seyi Makinde: has tactically endorsed Tinubu as expected.

Makinde didn't endorse Tinubu. The TInubu media team just like always teisted what he said to suit their narrative.
- Makinde has a lot to lose by endorsing APC. No strong LP guber Candidate.
- Wike has a lot to lose by endorsing APC. No strong LP guber Candidate.
- Ortom has a lot to lose by endorsing APC.
- Ugwuanyi and Okezie has APC and LP to contend with in their states. So they'll have to choose.

“Peter Obi and Senator Yusuf Ahmed Datti are soaring in popularity as Nigerians are clamouring for genuine turnaround. We call on our teeming support groups to intensify mobilisation and sensitization of the campaign, especially at the grassroots as we consolidate on our gains,” he said.

There was a Sun News Report around November that the G-5 have split into two of Wike and Makinde in one camp and Ortom, Ugwuanyi and Ikpeazu on the other hand.

The report said Wike and Makinde want to work for Tinubu while Ortom, Ugwuanyi and Ikpeazu are more favorably disposed to working for Obi.

I knew from the very start that Ortom will never ever work for Tinubu with his Muslim Muslim ticket; Benue situation is very sensitive and delicate for him to try it.

In same vein, Ugwuanyi and Ikpeazu who are both Senatorial candidates in Southeast will dare not say they are supporting Tinubu over Obi; that will be the end of their ambition.

So, I’m not surprised Ortom is endorsing Obi; as I won’t be surprised when Wike endorses Tinubu.

But endorsing Tinubu will be the end of Wike’s political career.

Let him try if he dares!

But the poll wasn't skewed in 2015, and 2019 when it predicted Buhari to win?
