In that 2 hours, I would have done a complete reinstallation of my Kanotix box. And while am installing, I can use my system to browse, chat, or do whatever I want. Unlike Windows that hijacks the system till its thru.Besides, where is the support for windows? Unlike what I can get from so many different forums when I have a problem with my system

To each his own......not worrying about virus attacks, trojans, worms etc is more than enough reason to stick with my linux. And how many times can u leave a windows box on continuously? My Promepis box has not been rebooted for more than a month and the last time I rebooted was cos I 4got the battery was dead and yanked the power plug.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Club Football Transfers This Season by jogego(m): 3:04pm On Jul 14, 2005
The best years of Viera have been put in at highbury. Last season he was a shadow of his former self. Better Wenger sells him now and make some money and in any case, most of our best matches last season were without Vieria.

By using a windows registry editor. CAVEAT EMPTOR: This is not for the faint hearted and please make a back up copy of your registry b4 u start. You could easily quench your XP box.

Unfortunately, I do not have any XP box now. I will do a screenshot of my Mepis box in a few minutes
Dating And Meet-up ZoneRe: In Search of a Decent Girl in Nigeria by jogego(m): 9:11am On Jul 14, 2005
calabarman i think your problem was that your game was not tight(you weren't slick enough then). yes you must have some money when wooing a girl, but it doesnt have to be that much. it's not all about the money. what's more important is the flow and how you make the girl feel around you.
Well said. I agree a 180% with the above statment. What happened to self-confidence, I was also in university in Lagos in the late '80s and yes, I remember how the moremi girls were, but damn it all, though I was in Lasu, I had a gf in moremi. And in true player style, I also had a couple in my school. Now, I wasnt rich while in school, never had a permanent car, but its all a matter of your self confidence and if the babe is so fickle that you know she is all about money, then just let her sniff some money and believe that you are loaded, I tell you, you will even be collecting money from her.

And yes, it is a fact of life, majority of women relate better and date men that are more comfortable or in better status in life than them but there are the exceptions. I mean, if I tell a babe I like her, the worst will be that she will say NO. Isho no dey kill person. And what if she just decides to say yes? Na lagoon front be that...... grin
BusinessRe: Investing in A Nigerian Bank by jogego(m): 8:54am On Jul 14, 2005
Sometimes I cannot but be amazed at the way people make business decisions. This is an investment and should be treated as such. Like Kazey said, what is the likelihood of making any returns? I for one would advise against investing in Banks right now. For one, you dont know which bank will be left standing. SO if you invest in Bank A and then CBN in its all mighty wisdom, decides that Bank A should not continue after the consolidation, your investment is down the drain.

And like any secondary school Economis student will tell you, there are certain factors which would determine the likelihoood of a booming economy and do not lets deceive ourselves, Nigeria lacks this factors.Besides, the Banking environment is very much under the influence of Goverment legislation and if tomorrow someone decides otherwise and makes some laws that do not favour the banks, all the mega profits being declared will be a thing of the past.

Personally, I say NO, CAPITAL NO, this is not the time to invest in Banks in NIgeria

yeah, same here. I hardly switch off my computers, and they are online 24-7, but the issue is, how many people can afford to do that in Nigeria?

ComputersRe: Screenshots of Our PC Desktops by jogego(op): 6:16pm On Jul 12, 2005
are you using linux? Kde has a screen capture program. If you are using windows, then look on your keyboard for a key labelled "PrtSc" or something like that. I cant remember how it works but I think u press it, and then go to your favorite graphic program and paste it there using Cnrt-V
