Incognito403: Today, I finally got to watch the much anticipated Mortal Kombat 2021 movie. Here's what I think about this movie.
Firstly, I wonder why there has been no frontpage thread about this movie. I mean, this movie is one of the biggest things this year (at least for Mortal Kombat fans).
Now to my review.
1. I've watched the trailer many times on YouTube but it didn't really impress me. But that still didn't stop me from thinking about this movie.
2. I've watched the two previous movies that were done on Mortal Kombat. I didn't enjoy the first movie but then mortal Kombat, to me, is like pizza (or sex); even when it's bad it's still good. But the second movie (mortal Kombat annihilation) was a lot better in my opinion.
3. Before watching this 2021 mortal Kombat movie, I'd read reviews online and I was surprised to see poor reviews. Many people said the movie wasn't made for everyone, instead it was directed at fans of the MK video game.
4. Personally, I enjoyed the movie. And the part I loved most is the plot twist when Cole was fighting Sub-Zero. It was superb. Then there's Kung Lao's fatality. Liu's dragon. Kano and Sonya's feud was featured. Most importantly was how well the directors used Sub-Zero. He was in top form throughout the movie. Among many others.
5. I do feel the directors deliberately featured big names to appease the MK fans. For example, Goro wasn't necessary.
6. I also feel the directors tried to cramp too many features of the video game into the movie. Many went well but some didn't fit. For example, Reiko didn't do anything significant in the movie.
In summary. I enjoyed the movie and believe every MK fan will. As for non MK fans, you might be disappointed.
MadeINchenzen2: I believe a good number of persons out there are just keeping up with all the struggles that comes with dating ... some are just hanging in there until someone better comes along while some want to stick with their partners through thick and tin.
If you get the chance to start a fresh relationship with a celebrity with the condition of abandoning your present relationship, who will be your choice celebrity.
Wonderful...she must have been arrested by the holy spirit.....yes it's good to preach peace and love, only thru that can the world be saved and be healed.
He's right...I lost hope travelling abroad as money no dey and travelling is becoming for the rich only,so I DIE HERE...warriors don't run, warriors fight and survive to the last.
Draslo: For most couples, infidelity marks the end of the relationship. I have noticed that it's easier for women to forgive an unfaithful partner than for men to do the same. As a matter of fact, men who do are considered weaklings while women are encouraged to forgive.
Now to the main issue, does having sex with someone other than your current partner mean you love them less? Less discuss, maturely like adults, please.
Same thing all the time gets one tired no matter how long, sometimes try new adventures...eating same food all the time isn't healthy, try other food,...lol...
DanceVille: Happy Sunday Folks! Blessed one in Jesus name Brethren.
This keeps bulging my mind because have seen some believers that have tattoos on their body and they are strong believers. They have the tattoo when they are unbelievers but after they converted to been a believer, the tattoo still remains because it's a permanent one.
Assuming I have the tattoo of my mother or father or my son/daughter on my body and a strong believer of Christ, does that makes me an unbeliever or does that mean that I need to get the tattoo erased before I can make it to heaven.
I remembered when we were been preached to by pastor then that God says we shouldn't have any form of tattoo on our body, christ sees it as sin.
But the issue now is, let's look at this two different scenarios;
1. I have a tattoo when I was an unbeliever, but converted to a believer and there's no way I can erased the tattoo, does that still makes me an unbeliever?
2. I'm a believer of Christ, strong and faithful to him. But I wish to have an image of my dad/ mum or son/daughter because of the much love I have for him/her, does that still changes me to been an unbeliever in christ?
Brethrens, please let's contribute to this issues and share your opinions with reference to the word of God.
Stay happy ❤️
You won't take your flesh to the afterlife,God judges based on deeds of a man to fellow mankind and what the heart of a man carries, the flesh is sinful and belongs to the earth,Christ paid the ultimate price,it's only in Nigeria hypocrites judge those with tattoos,A soul can't have tattoos,God is interested in the soul only, tattoo is Art and not necessarily diabolic...I have tattoos and I live a better life than many without, the boko harams, bandits, kidnappers, ritualists etc, many of them don't have tattoos,if it's by tattoo, then I don't think 20% will make heaven....God is not man!!
bingbagbo: Daniel 2:37-41 [37]You, O king, are a king of kings. For the God of heaven has given you a kingdom, power, strength, and glory; [38] and wherever the children of men dwell, or the beasts of the field and the birds of the heaven, He has given them into your hand, and has made you ruler over them all—you are this head of gold. [39]But after you shall arise another kingdom inferior to yours; then another, a third kingdom of bronze, which shall rule over all the earth. [40]And the fourth kingdom shall be as strong as iron, inasmuch as iron breaks in pieces and shatters everything; and like iron that crushes, that kingdom will break in pieces and crush all the others. [41]Whereas you saw the feet and toes, partly of potter’s clay and partly of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; yet the strength of the iron shall be in it, just as you saw the iron mixed with ceramic clay.
DID YOU NOTICE FROM THE ABOVE VERSES THAT, GOD HAS GIVEN THE RULERSHIP OF THIS EARTH TO MAN? THE KINGDOMS OF THIS EARTH BELONG TO MAN.
THOSE WHO CLAIM SATAN RULES THE EARTH, SHOW US WHERE THAT AUTHORITY WAS GIVEN SATAN? THE DEVIL IS A LIAR
See Satan's lies below
Luke 4:5-8 [5]Then the devil, taking Him up on a high mountain, showed Him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. [6]And the devil said to Him, “All this authority I will give You, and their glory; for this has been delivered to me, and I give it to whomever I wish. [7]Therefore, if You will worship before me, all will be Yours.” [8]And Jesus answered and said to him, “Get behind Me, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve.’ ”
JUST AS THE DEVIL DECEIVED EVE IN THE GARDEN OF EDEN, HE TRIED DECEIVING THE LORD JESUS, BUT HE FAILED. THE DEVIL IS A LIAR
John 8:44
You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.
IN SPITE OF THE BOLDED, MANY STILL BELIEVE SATAN SPOKE THE TRUTH WHEN HE CLAIMED HE OWNED THE KINGDOMS OF THE WORLD
Christ confirmed that Satan is the "ruler"of the world...He doesn't own,he never created it,but he rules it cos he's the god of sin,man is wicked, man were born sinners, earth is man's home,it's a wicked world..God is almighty,Christ the messenger,Satan the ruler of Earth....true followers of Christ don't do things of the world neither do they value wealth for they know the earth isn't their home but Heaven...Look at your churches, your pastors, your imams,Alphas, pops ,priests, bishops, prophets etc...they might be Agents of ye that rules the world "SATAN"....Stay guided and know your God.
Mrskillz1: I am from a family of three. I have two brothers. One older and the other younger than me so I'm the only girl in my family.
I grew up seeing my Mom mad. By my teen age, I got admission into Nnamdi Azikiwe University alongside my elder brother who was to study Engineering. By the time I was in my finals, my brother was getting ready for IT. One day, his roommate sent for me, he said they couldn't sleep the night before because my brother was talking to himself. Before we knew what was happening, my brother was getting violent and so we took him home and he never got back to finish school. I proceeded with my education and finished. Went for NYSC. While serving the nation, My Mom died. When I got home, she'd been buried. But my brother was still mad.
I later got job, took my brother to a Psychiatric hospital and the doctor after examining him said he is Schizophrenic. He was asked to stay in the hospital. I paid. He then stayed there for one month. When I came to visit him, he pleaded with me to take him home that he didn't like it there.
So I took him home. Every month, I buy drugs for him and he gets injected. He usually puts up a fight but with the help of my younger brother, neighbors and a certain nurse, he receives the injection, forcefully and against his will. Often times, he pleads with me not to inject him, the very time I obliged him, he scattered things, didn't allow the neighborhood sleep, talked throughout some nights and wouldn't eat sometimes. He looked really sick then but with the injection, one will hardly know he's not normal. I told him that I won't let him miss his injection ever again.
Now, on Monday, my younger brother woke up and was unusually quiet. He normally wakes up and begins to play music with his phone or he will turn to football channel and watch until I leave for work. But I didn't go to work on Monday and I noticed he was quiet, then I asked him why he's quiet. He didn't respond. After some hours, I asked my Dad if he feels he's okay, My Dad said that he wants to be quiet and that I should let him be.
Then, that night, around 4am, my brother began to talk. He was shouting and some of the things he said were not coherent. He talked out of point. I and my Dad, with my elder brother surrounded him and I couldn't help crying when my Dad was cautioning him to keep quiet and he refused. Neighbours thought it was my elder brother's voice they'd heard that night but by the time they heard in the morning that it was my younger brother, they visited my Dad in the evening. By then, my brother was still talking and even burnt his clothes yesterday. My Dad got a few guys to chain him because he was violent yesterday when I left the house. I know the problem is spiritual. I have prayed, fasted for my elder brother and now this! I'm so unhappy.
Can someone suggest a place I can take my two brothers to so they can be cured, please.
You guys should give him weed to chew or weed tea to drink,it will do some mental reset and put him in a calm state,he will begin to reason and act more calm instead of being aggressive.
RuudVanNisteroy: The Future Is Female: Nigerian men have failed, let our mothers and sister's rule at local, state and federal level.
Nigerian men have introduced thuggery and bullion van bribery into politics. They have caused wars and insecurity through selfish actions across the nation. Nigerian men have led the country since 1960 and turned the country to the poverty and corruption capital and the third most misgoverned nation in the world. It is time we gave our mothers and sisters the leadership role in the nation.
