Oh, thanks. So it is not a must to mention the supporting documents in the SOP?
Please mention the names of your supporting documents in sop. It should be a comprehensive letter of intent. Don't leave a vo wondering or guessing what documents you attached.

If you meant renaming each document so you can upload and reference them individually then you can't because you're to upload a single file document of your supporting documents merged together and arranged orderly.

Hello everyone.

How best can one reference supporting documents in SOP? Can one write (see filename.pdf) for example?

Cc johnstan and other gurus
Simply ensure your documents are arranged in a systematic order before uploading. Once the documents are merged into one file as supporting documents you will not be able to identify each document by a specific filename and that makes your attempt to specifically reference documents on your SOP nearly impossible.

Arrange bank related docs together, school related docs like loa, fees payment receipts etc together, work related docs like your study leave, letter of intro etc together, your IDs sponsor's IDs etc just like that.

Hopefully I understood your question and answered it correctly.

I meant things like maintenance fee for the card, transfer charges, issuance fee. e.t.c
Ok if you're referring to the USD card, I will advice you to contact your bank so you can be advised better.

I don't do USD transfers, the issuance fee and annual maintenance fee is specific to banks and not general. Can't recall how much I was charged when I did mine but it was debited in USD.

Good luck

Please, does this mean the VOs have access to the current available balance in one’s account to make their decision? How about if one has a very good account statement and records including tuition fee been paid (and good explanation in the SOP), and then removed the funds before the final decision? What could happen in this case? Could the application still be rejected due to funds not readily available? Do they have access to the current account balance as at when making decisions?
Your account balance at the point you generated your statement is what they would have access to.
You can be asked for an updated statement for any reason and hopefully you have not withdrawn all and risk lump sum inflows to meet up.

Thank you for your responds, my brother is my sponsor, I think maybe I should make payment for my tuition fee, but should that payment be from my account or my brother's account?
Making partial / full payment and still having good account balance also helps to demonstrate good POF. Go ahead with your payments, and refire.

Ensure the funds are not in a fixed account to avoid the *not readily available response*

Good luck.

Thank you for your response, pls just to clarify. Can I transfer the funds to my savings account bit by bit and state in my SOP that the funds is from my savings from my salary account and present only my savings account statement?

I'd appreciate your kind response. Thank you
People do this over a period of time to avoid explaining lump sums, however, you inflows are going to coming say like within a month or two Noting that you're to generate a statement of at least 4 months then be sure to explain the sudden inflows in your SOP.

Please How can l pay my school fees at a reasonable rate without the bank.l have a deadline of Nov 16th..My School fee logged on trms was rejected today at UBA stating the programme not eligible for CBN funds .l still don't understand .Thinking because it's a college(PGD). Please assist l need to make this payment quickly
You have a deadline that would not permit you to use form A except your school would be willing to grant you some time after your due date.

If the latter is a possibility, use another bank - except if you only have a UBA account.

If this is not a possibility then quickly use black market, open a USD account fast with Uba, fund the account, get their dollar card and use.

Good luck.

Hi everyone, pls your advise will be appreciated.
I want to use my salary account as POF (I have enough funds in the account) but I'm currently servicing a loan. When I print out my bank statement, the loan repayment shows (there's no default).

Would this be an issue for my visa application?

Thanks for your response
If you have enough POF in your salary account you can, i.e. if you have enough balance after your loan liquidations. If you wouldn't have enough balance just use another account so you don't create a wrong impression with your POF as any VO can and would definitely see your liquidation debit narrations.

Good luck

Good evening guys

please my application was refused due to the following reason in the letter sent below, I don't even know what to do next, because I have close to 20m in my account and my sponsor has close to 50m, so why is the rejection on this ground? please I will appreciate all advice, please help me
Sorry about your refusal.
Having funds is not enough.
Is it readily available or did you fix it without a liquidation date in view.
Are you using a corporate account and intend to use the companys entire funds as POF.
Better still order for your gcms notes, get the full gist and repackage your application.

Good luck.

Please any body with an answer on this question, when sending mails regarding application has passed the approved processing time to the offices, can i send same one message to the offices or i will have to compose different messages for each offices i am sending mail to ??

@makano still waiting for your response also.

Thank you all
There's no IRCC format for email and webform enquiries.
You can choose to send same email message to all their offices or customize each mail before sending to their separate offices, it's really up to you.

Good luck

I would like to know the part of lag you guys get a notary public officer that charges 500 to notarized and hv d stamp of commission of oath on docs so I can direct any1 that asks me about it to that particular location.
I also have about 2guys now that want to do genuine deed of gift , tell me d location of that high court in lag and lawyer that can do deed of gift for a land for 2k without much hassle , d receipt of d land, deed of agreement, location of the land and all sort of evidences of d landed property are available. it will be stamped by the court and also have NBA stamp of the lawyer on it and also be notarized . Thanks
The truth is if you go through a lawyer for these documents they will charge you for not just the documents you need but for their services as well.
Courts in lag have Hustlers hanging around daily and will notarize your documents, get you a stamped affidavits within minutes at these N500 and N1000 costs.

It's now up to you to decide if you want a lawyer to do these things or you want them. That's the difference.

UBA gives cash over counter but I don't know of any limits for them, just long wait time. As for GTB, they give you $2,000 broken down into $1,900 in a dollar card (prepaid Dollar card if you don't have a dom account or a dollar card) and then $100 cash over the counter.
UBA sent a mail last month or so, they no longer give cash. Its now in a debit card like Access does.

They also sent a mail stating that FORM A is now a minimum of 6 weeks, Access sent theirs stating that its now a minimum of 60days i.e. 2 months.

The FX challenge is only getting worse by the day with no resolution in sight. God help us

How can i apply for my Gcms note please?
I also heard it’s expensive, does anyone know how much it costs?
My application is 13 weeks & a day today
As a non Canadian citizen or PR your option is via third party online service providers.

Simply Google gcms notes and choose any provider. It's cost varies depending on the service provider and the package you apply for, it's charged in CAD. Minimum amount should be within 10 - 15 CAD.

Good luck

Please does any one have an idea of how long it takes for Seneca to give an admission decision?
The response time depends on your choice of intake and how close it is.
Winter intake resumption is in Jan, if that's your choice it will take a while and that's if you're not waitlisted.

Apply for an Intake that's not resuming anytime soon and response would be within 3 weeks.

Good luck.

And also whats the best app i can use in paying for tuition deposit
Yes people do.
Ensure you explain the source of the funding and how you plan to pay back on your SOP.
It's not just about getting the loan, how you plan to repay is very key in convincing the VO.

Good luck

The school cannot defer till fall next year due to the course (I was supposed to start this September before),
The course is only taken in the fall and the school cannot defer over two semesters that was the reason I requested a refund before the course registration closed. I am planning to apply for next fall and I'm asking if it won't have any effect on my visa when it is approved.
Re-apply for any intake you prefer ASAP to same school not another. Go for your medicals as advised then forward your new LOA to IRCC via webform and emails.

Good luck

Good evening everyone.
My admission was deffered to May but my application has been submitted since August. I just wanted to know if the 90days is still applicable to my case since my resumption is still in 5months. is there a possibility of getting a decision on my application this year?
Thanks .
You didn't state the year you deferred to.

The general rule is to forward your new loa showing your new date of resumption to IRCC if it's up to 90 days after your old Loa date.

The processing time on IRCC is 13weeks. In reality it may or may not go beyond that so no one can tell you the possibility of a decision.

Good luck.
